Purchased a whirlpool Refrigerator in August of 2022. It was an online order. It was never actually delivered until January of 2023.. and I had to keep calling/emailing as to where the appliance I already paid for was..? When it was finally delivered the delivery guys where rude to my elderly mother who received the delivery and did not place the roller on the bottom so we have been stuck with a fridge that’s very difficult to move.. The Brick had done nothing to correct this or apologize for the lack of customer service. Beginning of the spring have had issues with the freezer over frosting then the refrigerator was not working at all. Had warranty so a new door was ordered but the repair guy said it’s up to me, the owner, to put the roller on the bottom. So me one woman and my 76 year old mother are to tilt the fridge onto the side to place the roller on ..?! The instructions say for at least 2 people to tilt the fridge on the side to put on the roller. My mom cannot do this and I don’t have anyone to help me so been stuck like this. I managed to lift it enough to place material under so it wouldn’t wobble. I have called the brick many times and emailed both the regent location as well as head office to get help but weeks have gone by with no reply! I’ve been dealing with having no refrigeration for since summer and we are now in September. I will be issuing a complaint with the better business bureau as a next step but buyer beware of my experience.. do not shop at the brick regent. If I could give no star I would because that is what they deserve!

EDIT: location regent I had a horrible experience at The Brick a few weeks back. The manager of the place Patrick is very rude and confrontational. We received a table with a different colour from what we ordered. We called The Brick and were told we would be called by our salesman. We didn't hear back for 3-4 days so we went there in person. We told our situation to the staff and it was very clear that they did not care. We waited to speak to the manager for nearly an hour. Patrick (manager) came out of his office very aggressively. He didn't even bother to say hello or let us come to where he was at the front desk. He just spoke to us while we were 10 meters away saying there was nothing he could do for us. There was no acknowledgment of his staff's mistake. He made us feel like we did something wrong for having the wrong item delivered to us. Truthfully, we were just looking to somehow rectify the situation of us receiving the incorrect item. After about 10 minutes, we received a partial refund. We were actually happy with it but wish it was offered earlier. I asked the manager for his name, which he reluctantly gave. He also warned me about reporting him to customer service, saying that it would be futile and would just come back to him. He said I would have to speak to him again, this seemed threatening to me. This veiled threat left me feeling uneasy and concerned about the professionalism and integrity of the staff at The Brick.

0 professionalism. I bought washing machine and a dryer 4.5 years ago and bought warranty for it for extra 300$ Both washing machine and dryer broke within 2 weeks of each other. I started a warranty claim almost 3 weeks ago and I never even got my claim number yet. I can only imagine how long it's going to take to get it repaired. I had a repair for my sofa before that I bought at brick. It took forever for a unskilled tech to show up, who could not repair it. So brick offered settlement. That settlement was basically my money back for the warranty I paid. Dealing with warranty issue with my machine and dryer now is turning into same disaster as with my sofa, except washing and dryer are essential appliances. Team I delt with so far is not helpful at all. All they say is sorry for inconvenience. Inconvenience??? There is no laundromat near by where I live, so basically I need to buy new appliances. Brick would not even offer a store credit to pay me back for my useless warranty. I am not able to wait for 6 month to get my appliances repaired. And who knows if it will be repaired. Than they would offer 1 dollar of store credit as a settlement??? Never again I will have business with brick, nor my friends nor friends of my friends. Some of them had similar horror stories like mine, but I believed it was only one off. Now I know it's not It appears that it's their business model. Absolutely disgusting

We had 2 separate deliveries of appliances in the past month, we live just outside of Winnipeg. We first ordered kitchen appliances that we were told were on back order and after waiting 2 months for that decided we would change them out for appliances in stock. Benson from the Regent store was our sales person and he arranged the delivery within 3 days so we could finally have appliances in our kitchen! The delivery guys were polite, took care in not to damage anything and were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Within days, our washing machine went and I called him back and over the phone we placed an order for a set. And within 4 days, we had a new washing machine and dryer. Same guys came to deliver our set, both professional, nice and careful! I love that they were able to fill our orders and deliver them within a few days. I would definitely recommend the Brick on Regent in Winnipeg, Benson was a rock star and came through for us. Price wise, we didn't feel taken advantage of and they were competitive with other box stores.

I wouldn't recommend at all! I bought a bedframe, mattress, boxspring, comforter, bedsheets and a mattress protector. I dealt with Benson and he said that I would receive everything in 1-2 weeks. Well two weeks has come and I just got a phone call to set up delivery for everything except my bedframe which will be another 3-4 weeks! That's ridiculous! I wouldn't of bought it if I'd known that! Benson has worked there for 13 years! Don't say something about a product that a customer can have in a time frame when they can't! It's very frustrating and very inconvenient! Now I'm going to be stuck without a bedframe that I paid for much longer and just sleeping on a mattress and boxspring! Not impressed at all! And I've spent a lot of money at The Brick over the last 3 years! Maybe it's time to go somewhere else where they treat customers better!

Got a Coffee Table and a Rocker/Recliner delivered today. To start off, the delivery staff were great to deal with. Fast, efficient and friendly! The recliner was also in great shape with no issues. The lift top coffee table however has a few. 1) The top doesn't sit flat and it seems like no amount of adjustment on the mechanism(of which there is little) will get it to sit flat. 2) There were also layers of paint stuck to the bottom of the lid from something it had been sitting on in a warehouse I'm assuming. 3) There is also a mark on the inside and I can't tell if it's a pre-emptive coffee stain or just a drip from staining the wood itself. For a $600 Coffee table this seems like pretty poor quality control. All in all, from sales to delivery our experience has been good. Just a little disappointed in our expensive(to us) coffee table.

I would not recommend shopping at the brick I bought two beds, mattresses & bedding, and when I received them, there was a tear in the mattress cover. I was told to report it within 48 hours. The driver took a picture of it. I reported it right away. All we’ve gotten is absolutely nothing. In response. We phoned emailed went in person. with no results I also tried to return an unopened mattress pads which I was talked into getting and was not told we couldn’t return them. They said it’s posted on the website. Did not realize I had to look at the website before I went shopping. I am very disappointed in the customer service and should’ve realized the outcome as my nephew had the same problem when he had problems with his mattress.

Damian at The Brick is a true furniture hero, but he's also an unexpected savior from washing machine misadventures! One day, I got myself into a real spin in the laundry room and found myself stuck in the washing machine. I thought, 'This is it, the final spin cycle for me!' But lo and behold, like a knight in shining armor, Damian came to my rescue. He not only knows furniture like the back of his hand but also has a knack for dealing with unexpected situations. Thanks to him, I can now say I've had a 'clean' encounter with the world of furniture shopping. If you're in need of furniture and potentially washing machine emergencies, Damian is your man!

I came to the Brick during the 2023 Black Friday event shopping for a refrigerator and was pleasantly greeted by one of the sales associates Licia. I had some specific requirements such as price, size and configuration (freezer at the bottom) and she showed me all the various models that fulfilled them. Absolutely no sneaky sales tactics that made me feel pressured to make a snap decision right there and then. She was very patient as I took my time going back and forth between a few of the favorites. I eventually settled on one of the GE models. Overall I consider it a very positive experience. I’m not about give to them even one star. I purchased a dining table from them with 6 chairs. At the time of purchase their salesman convinced us to buy 5 year warranties as well and said if you will take warranty anything happens to table or chairs will be repairs or change. But now they are refusing us giving any claim for that when we need to claim. Also faces the very rude behavior of their manager at Bricks regent. So guys don’t go their it is a scam under the name of warranties. They convinced us to pay extra for the the warranties but at the time of claim we got nothing except from the rude behavior.

I went into this location early Saturday to beat the crowds. I knew what I wanted. 2 mattresses & a sectional lounge. While employees chatted, I was ignored for almost 20min. When I was finally offered “assistance” & I use that term euphemistically. I was spoken down to, spoken over, ignored & told that I didn’t know what I was looking for. This was after I spent much time researching which mattress suited my needs. I told the sales associate all of the above & offered her another chance to make a sale that would have Been $5-6k ballpark. She continued arguing with me. I left. Great job guys.

I went to the regent store Saturday September 23rd. I had been shopping for a new couch for a few weeks with zero luck. Upon walking into the store Andria introduced herself and asked what she could help me find. I explained my situation and she allowed me and my parents time to browse. I appreciated the time she allowed for me to decide on what I loved but was always there with important information such as fabric options, time line of product and finding the best deals for me. I 100000% recommend ANDRIA if you are looking for amazing customer service.

You know that feeling of walking into big stores and the sales people are so pushy. We definitely did not feel that way when we walked into your store last week. I went shopping with my mother to look for a new bed and Simran was there to help us. She was very professional, and gave us time to look around and discuss what we wanted amongst ourselves, answered our questions. She was definitely very helpful. The store was clean and I found what I wanted. The delivery team (Tyler B) was great and friendly. The sales rep wasn't so helpful or engaged at all so, I tried out a few beds and left the store to order the bed online in the parking lot. The store was empty too as they just opened so it's not like there were other customers to attend to. The online process was easy but, bill of sale said no delivery fee then I'm emailed that I'll be charged a fee so I call to question that which the rep corrected and said I wouldn't be charged.

Benz is very helpful in assisting us with our furniture hunt. We’ve been to all furniture stores and no one accommodated us the way Benz did. Instead of just selling, he gave us options and make sure he knows details from what we want. He is transparent in giving suggestions. We ended up getting our dining set and sofa and arcade. We live way far from the Regent branch but I will definitely go back to this branch and look for him in my future purchases. Look for Benson “Benz” of Regent if you are going to The Brick.

We had incredible experience coming in to the store, we plan to purchase our furnitures online for convenience but end up in the store to personally feel it and Kayla help us go through it and give us some discounts and promotions together with sale event and we end up saving more and we had given half the price delivery charge too. We also did apply and approved on that day using their flexiti financing so our purchased is not heavy on our pocket at all. Now we just need to wait for our furnitures to be delivered.

He offered us several options within our specified budget and found the washer and dryer pair, which matched our stated needs. I was initially looking for bedroom furniture online but found the in-store experience and selection at this store a pleasant surprise. We purchased a new stove today. The LG model was exactly what we needed, and a showroom model was available to view. Akhil Chopra, our sales representative, was attentive to our needs. He took our price quote to his manager and saved us money on delivery. He clearly explained the warranty options and benefits. Service at the store was great, Benson was nice and got my mom a good deal. The delivery guys, on the other hand, I am NOT impressed with. They refused to install the machine for us because we did not buy hoses from their store! I'm not sure if that's a corporate mandate or what, but it is not acceptable! Absolutely appalled at such an asinine reason for not doing their full job. I should not have to be hoses from the Brick to install the washing machine I bought from the Brick!

We wanted a new bed and Dakotah was very knowledgeable about the products. We appreciated the “no pressure” to buy experience. We shopped at competitors including Sleep Country and couldn’t find a better bed or even same quality bed for such a good price. A comparable bed at Sleep Country was more than double the price. Our fridge died so we went to the Brick to get a replacement as soon as possible. Past experiences have not been pleasant (at other stores), so we were dreading this whole process. Went to the Brick to buy a bed. Matthew Moorhouse greeted us and showed us our options. We had a queen bed picked out with mattress protector and 2 pillows in under 15 minutes. Matthew was funny and answered all our questions. It's getting delivered on a day we needed and gave us a bag for old mattress pick up. We couldn't be happier with this quick and awesome buy! Polite and friendly staff. Our sales associate, Marley, was so helpful throughout our buying process from beginning to end. As soon as our sectional was available for delivery, we were notified by Marley. It was delivered 2 days later. The delivery team was proficient and set up the sectional for us in our family room. Went into the Brick on Regent to buy a replacement dishwasher. We were greeted by Kayla Percy, who very quickly impressed us with her product knowledge and professionalism. Sofiia helped us at the regent location and it was by far the best customer service I have received in a long time. We gave her an idea of what we were looking for and she showed us all of our options. She was very patient with my elderly dad.

We bought 2 double foam (Bed in a Box) from Benson Tanglao at the Brick on Regent Ave. He's a great salesman, not pushy whatsoever and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend dealing with Benson. These All Foam Matresses are very comfortable.
