I’ve added a reply to your comments at the end of this Ordered hamburgers, chips and baklava through Menulog. Burgers tasted pretty bad, more like cheap frozen patties. Chips were great crispy and hot. Baklava stale. Won’t be ordering from them ever again Reply ! Hi your reply you say you don’t sell burgers or use Menulog till after 5 which we did Your menu clearly states you do have burgers which we got two Burgers with the Lot $10.50 each Unfortunately I’m unable to post pics in the comments as I have screenshot your menu and the order we put in with Menulog at 19.50 (after 5) with them if anyone wants to go on Menulog and type in The Chicken Run it’s there and the menu with burgers and also pics

This place has abysmal service. I've been there several times and the last two times I've ordered ahead and they didn't bother to start my order until I got there. Today I ordered and 50 minutes after ordering I turned up and they hadn't started the order. 5 minutes after standing there they told me it would be a 15 minute wait! I only ordered a chicken and some sides, how that takes over an hour to prepare I don't understand. The food is ok if you can get past the service, I'd skip it and go to El Jannah.

We consistently have an outstanding experience with The Chicken Run Penrith. Delivery is fast and sometimes earlier than the estimated time, driver is careful with handling the food, friendly and efficient. We usually get the mixed plate with chicken salt and tabouli. Always packed and presented well, food is warm, meats are flavourful, tender and juicy, chips are perfection - everything is really delicious. Highly recommended!

The chicken seasoning is really good. Fed the family for under 40 bucks with quality food. We Loved it. Place could do with a good update, maybe more modern and clean menu boards maybe I'm being fussy apart from that this was a great spot for a decent bbq chicken feed.

Charcoal Chicken with Chips

Genuinely speechless at how great this place is and the food ! We have fell in love that much my partner and I have order 3-4 times this week price is pretty good too only thing I’d suggest maybe a kids meal with a burger instead of just nuggies and no foil on the large family chips makes the chips sweat but in the box crispy to perfection! Awesome guess I’ll have to drive there one time to meet the crew

My girlfriend and I have been here a few times and have enjoyed the food. Though what we witnessed on our visit today was shocking. There were flies flying into the large counter food storage boxes whilst they were preparing food and they didnt even bother trying to remove the flies before closing the boxes. The flies were obvious, absolutely no chance of missing them. Will not return, such a shame.

Just let there,with hot chips and a drink, the most disgusting filthy dirty take away, it looks like the never clean, the front glass door is broken, spider webs all over the inside of the shop dust seriously thick with papers everywhere, the guy behind the counter looks like he's never had a shower for 6 months, never go back, ever.

They are really good! Their chicken leg pieces are done better than other popular places! Taboulee is also great! Ironic I just mentioned these two names because usually I don’t eat chicken leg piece and taboulee ! Their price is slightly bit expensive though but I hope with this price they continue with their humble service and good food!

If you want to be late, be sure to order from their website! Placed an order for immediate pick up as I had an important appointment to attend. They only started making my food once I arrived half an hour after i placed the order (as I was ETA for pick up was for 25 minutes). Waited 20 minutes for my 4 wraps and was late to my appointment which was cancelled and had to be rescheduled.

Juicy, spicy and tasty charcoal chicken. In Penrith here you can find the best charcoal chicken. I have had charcoal chicken many times from Auburn and Granville area, so I can say compare and say that this one is almost exactly same in taste. But I have to admit that the garlic dip of El-Jennah is tastier than this restaurant. However, overall i am happy with their price and food.

Have to give some credit to this Chicken Run. For awhile we used to order from here before the local one openned up for deliveries prior of EAT now instead of Menulog. Super fast delivery and super food. Always great for every order we had from Chicken Run Penrith in the past. Credit due, and thank you for your services! Try them, been great when we used to order from here.

The charcoal chicken was very dry and unappetising and very disappointing. The chips were good.

Good local chicken shop. Obviously more expensive than a Coles roast chicken, but much more flavourful. The hommus and garlic dips were also great.

Good chicken, not sure who wins out of them and EJ's but these guys are marginally cheaper. The garlic sauce is good, maybe not quite as good as el-jannah's imo. These guys are my current go-to for take-away chicken. Baklava is also nice and the staff are friendly.

Food is good. No issue with the food. Very tasty. Only issue is if you phone your order ahead it's never ready when you arrive! They start preparing the order only when you turn up. So why order ahead?! Come on guys I'm saving you the Uber Eats fee surely you can do better!

$69 is how much I spent at Frango after I was consciously overlooked for service at The Chicken Run today. Quiet conversation between the boss and employee with glances my way did not go unnoticed either. I'm glad my $$ didn't go to you, and won't ever in future.

Great burgers and charcoal chicken. Serving size is pretty generous. We tried chicken tandoori burger and quarter chicken with chips, both were really tasty. One serve of small chips is enough for two. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend it to try.

Got the burger with the lot in a combo, costed 12.50 and all around the meal was amazing. The fries were SO GOOD and the burger was great, particularly the egg in how juicy it was and how the ingredients mingled greatly so flamboyantly. Highly recommended!

Very pleased to order directly through their website as Menulog is not very reliable. Their website is great with pictures of each dishes and option of additional topping to each dish. Excellent food, great value and delivery is spot on time.

If you don’t want your entire order it’s a great place. Don’t bother calling them to let them know because they are quick to insist that they did deliver everything and refuse to deliver or refund the missing items. Poor customer service.

Always yummy....we get the single chicken deal which includes one whole chicken, medium chip, pickles, garlic sauce; and Lebanese bread plus 1.25litres soft drink $24....plus a small tabouli $4.....feeds a family of 4....addictes

The worst kofta roll and tabouli salad in the west. The food tasted NASTY as if it was left outside the fridge over a week. The Kofta itself was so oily and smells miserable. I will never return to buy from that restaurant.

I would give it 5 stars. However, my order was ready to pick up and I had to wait for 5 to 7 minutes. He was preparing another order, and I was the only one in the restaurant.

I got served by a literal 10 year old , they wanted to charge me 4$ extra for my half chicken meal to be just breast chicken. It was very messy and the floors grimey, I wasn’t happy to get my food from here at all .

The chips, oh my god they were nice and crisp and still filled with potatoe. The chicken was amazingly cooked and the service was polite and welcoming. DEFINITELY reccommend, i would travel far to come here again.

Good chicken and chips but have the chips with the garlic aoili.. It's sensational. The chicken can be hit and miss sometimes very dry other times can be very moist and soft. Really depends on the day.
