ok, so I wrote my last review whilst bored in my hass class. since then I have made many more friends and they are all great. I'm in year 8 and I enjoy almost every lesson and I have to say I went from hating school to loving it so much that I could spend more than 6 hours a day just doing what I enjoy. I would definitely recommend it to any parents that are looking for a school. EDIT: I wrote the last review somewhere about a month ago, and jeez that's a long time ago. not a lot has happened but this time I'm doing it out of boredom at home so without further adieu, here's my second edit. the heights is an interesting school with quite a handful of diverse groups, this is shown even in class (I'm in year 8) there are lots of different friend groups, so many I couldn't name all of them, not even get close. the teachers are interactive and not afraid to help students when promptly asked or even have a confused look, and if the teachers don't pick up on it, the students will. most of the students are kind and will not back down from a challenge, and the students encourage each other as well. from personal experience, as a 13 year old autistic kid (all be it I'm not as high on the spectrum as others) I have been shown kindness and forgivingness and I have had the best help from Russel Max and from many others that played a role in the AIP program a couple years ago. my favourite place in the school is the tech building because I am in love with the idea of creating my own creations and the challenges that come with them. thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to eventually meet new kids that may have been influenced to attend the school via any of these reviews.

Let me share my experience as a former student at this school. It wasn't so great, which kinda made me go somewhere else. There are nice people, but the amount of fights, racism, and bullying outweighs them dramatically. Some teachers are nice (not mentioning any names), but some obviously picks favourites, and treat the others badly (again, not mentioning any names). The lack of support for mental health and neurodivergence is so disappointing :( I'm autistic with ADHD, but it's not like they cared. I was made fun of, and teachers just neglected me. Earlier this year I reached out for my depression, but they pretended to listen, and never spoke to me ever again... Also, the amount of bullying in this school is outrageous. My locker was next to the year nine boys', and just because I'm younger than them, they saw it as a privilege to bully me and harass me physically however thy want, and the school didn't do anything. Last, but not least, the hardware of the school is so displeasing. In my honest, the computers need an upgrade. It's sooo old, in fact, the CD slots have been broken and they lag and have display issues (such as screen discolouration or enlarged pixels). The network is even worse. There was this time I connected my iPad to the internet bc my laptop was getting repaired, and my iPad's browsers didn't work properly for a good few months. Also, it slows down my laptop because of outdated hardware. The school bells and the buildings for middle and senior school need a renovation ASAP, because it's old, have gum stuck on the floor, and is just very dirty in general. Please upgrade. Anyways, I've moved schools and it's the best decision ever

Im going to be completely honest about this, I did not have a great experience at this school, which forced me to go somewhere else. There's very much a lack of support for students mental health, they will only do the absolute bare minimum to make themselves look good, but me and many others I know feel that not enough effort and care is placed into making sure students feel safe, happy and healthy at this school. That is my main issue, but others such as leaving the older students outside in terrible weather and not letting them inside (not sure what the case is right now, but it is my experience) Certain bathrooms in the school can get very disgusting, it got to the point I'd rather walk to the other side of the school to use a decent one. There are some amazing teachers at this school, but also some that made me feel very disliked. No names will be included. I was at this school for a few years and only recently left, I did not leave with good thoughts about the school in general, I did have some good experiences, but the bad outweighs a lot of it. If this school could provide more mental health support for their students and fix the above problems it could be significantly better, but as it is right now I would not go back there again, even though I have the option to.

Let's start with saying that I had really wanted to be in this school ever since I moved to a nearby suburb, but according to my parents I was to young to go on my own and it was a bit too far from home. But luckily I came here in year -7 (2020) for high school and have completed two years in this school which have been very fun and interesting. I really love this school and have made great memories and friends. Like every other school, this school has both good and bad students, all you need to do is pick the right ones and be on a good track to help help you succeed academically. This school has a lot of diversity and people from all sorts of backgrounds, countries and cultures which is great thing and decreases the chance of racism. It also has so many different things, activities and subjects you can to help you look into a successful career. Some of the absolutely wonderful teachers are Mr. Markou, Mrs. Khanna and Mrs. Vanhoof. These teachers can really make class time fun and enjoyable as well as help you learn and be on the right track. You'll be in good hands if you get these teachers. Thank you so much for reading this review, I hope you like this school and hope to see a lot of new students in the future. :)

i attended this school for 5 years as i moved there in year 7, this school is absolutely terrible do not send your kids here if they have any issues with their mental health as the school does not care, they will sit there and pretend to listen even when you’re at your worst i was promised help for years but never received it, if i ever needed help i would have to go sit in detention and wait for someone which would take hours so i’d end up leaving anyways. the lack of help with work and everything else caused me to drop out in year 11 and start my own business which i’m glad i did, not to mention the fact that the amount of students that want to hurt/bash eachother is amazing to me and the school doesn’t do anything about it, i’ve seen fights where the teachers will stand there and watch kids bash eachother and just yell as if it helps. the ignite program isn’t even worth it either so don’t send your kid just for that.

Back in 1977 when the school was being built, there seemed a sense of freedom, openness and optimism. We walked across the construction site with out great concern, until was made out off bounds. Now when visit for voting, it seems really depressing place with its high surrounding fences, and I guess safety issues replaced the panels on the balconies which I assume were taken to be asbestos if not compressed fibre cement: though I'd guess the metal panels are just as great a hazard. The craziness of regulations. Hopefully time spent in the school is a lot less depressing than the building and grounds now make it seem.

the school its self is good, and the people aren't anything like they say they are in the movies. the only main issue I don't like about the school is that most teachers (that are white) seriously pick favourites, me and my friends would try talk to the teachers and if your not completely white yourself they don't give a nugget about what you have to say, Mr shah is like the only teacher that doesn't pick favourites

  • They Callmechoke

I went to this school back in 2015 I was kicked out because a girl told everyone I threw her off a balcony which did not happen and the school expelled me because I couldn't prove I didn't do it even though she couldnt prove I did it Lel don't send your kids here they will get bullied constantly or they will become a bully

  • Tracey Schmitz

Can't really say anything good about this school anymore I've had children there for about 17 years and can't believe how bad it is now. Serious breaches from teachers and sso's get swept under the carpet and never really get dealt with.if you want your children to have a happy and safe education don't send them here

.... I don't even know where to begin, the school takes money from students parents and give them good grades, they cover up their dirty deeds by making the school look pretty, they have areas that are DISGUSTING and don't even get me started on the toilets, GIRLLLLLLL!!! .......... the guys are kinda hot tho.....

  • Hello Hi

this is the worst school I have ever gone to, does not even deserve 1 star. Some teachers are good, but most do not help at all. great buildings but look depressing, students either want to bash you, or are scared of you not a good place to be. And don't even get me started on the absolute rank of the toilets.

this school is terrible the school curriculum is so old as the school still live in the 90s still they need to update it and also all the bells and sirens are so old atleast use what other schools use like a PA system sirens like golden grove and gleeson and all of those school

  • David Varghese

Really good school i came here in 2021 and is a pretty god school the best teachers are Mr Markou, Ms Khanna, Mr Spinello. If you get any other teacher L. Right now I'm in year 8 hopefully the school can upgrade their toilets and clean all the rubbish.

  • Random Guy

They need to ring the bell at the start of break times not always at the end of break times and atleasttttt have a bell for home time Jesus Christ it gets the teachers confused and so as the students I would give it 5 stars only if they do this

My son got karate chopped by a another kid who thought he was in Naruto. I had to personally go to the school and give that child a kamehameha of my own. Wouldn't recommend unless you're a MC in another anime, but my son was, so he was fine.

  • Sparky TheSec0nd

Only School I've ever been to, pretty good would recommend. Teachers are really good as well, with a few exceptions whom will not be named. Edit: The GOAT relief teacher back in the day turned out to be a bit of a bad guy. So that's nice

If you are a dark tourist seeking exciting thrills, you should pay a visit to one of The Heights School's many toilet facilities! Great fun! This is one of the best attractions you shouldn't miss when you're in the Tea Tree Gully area!

  • I SEE YOU

don't send your kid to this school they will be bullied into depression and that might lead to not going to school or to bad results and they will be ignored by the teachers and the school will not clean the toilets

  • lemon juice

been to this school for a few years and everything looks fine but have to say im so dissapointed that it has no lesson about computer programming and anything related to Information technology (IT).

  • _MissyMoo

Students are mean, some are nice. I don't like the new principal. Very few staff are nice, like the IT and grounds people, and office/first aid ladies. A lot of the teachers are really rude though.

  • White King Premium Bleach

this school is okay, my favourite teachers are mr markou, mr fletcher and mrs rothery otherwise most of the other teachers are rude and the students are great if you don’t get on their bad side

  • yoman lol

yeah so im bankrupt now because the canteen food and drinks costs a considerable amount of money for a child and your punished for going to woolworths across the road that sells more for less

  • Mango Clan

This school is kind of OP. If you get Mr Waktkins, Mr Oscar, Mr Markou and Mrs Williams you will get a good year.BTW my channel is called Pro brawlyt If you want to check it out ☺️

  • BEKFAST In Bed

worst school in modbury if i do say so myself, toilets are gross, 98% of the teachers are rude and disrespectful and the students in year 8 are on a whole other level of two faced.

  • Rachael Thoirs

I like this school because of the new playground. And friendship garden the extended it and put seats there! I remember when it was all blank where the new playground is. …

  • Lt_Nosam Adams

Its good education but they block many useful websites such as games and fortnite which are important to the development of our brains Also, the toilets are NASTY. …

  • Lazar Beam

  • Lunoxis

A big school with plenty of resources, most of the teachers are nice. A little crowded In some areas sometimes especially after recess and lunch on.The balcony.

  • Jake Perrott

This school has good teachers but more bad teachers, some good teachers are Mr Watkins, Mrs Williams and Mr Markou. If you get these teachers be thankful.

  • Om Patel

wonderful place and i enjoy going there very much. the only reason why i gave it 4 stars is because there are some kids who act like jerks.

  • Charlotte Dadliffe

Some teachers are rude kids are rude and teachers don’t care. The learnings ok but the the toilets are gross does anyone ever clean them?!

  • Yutong Gao

Amazing school, best one I ever went to. The teachers helps us learn better and creates a wonderful learning environment for us.

  • Adonis Angelz
