Polite warning If you have booked an appointment with park vets in advance (we did in October 2022 for 7th Feb 2023) make sure you take the letter confirmation with you. If you don't and you phone the day before to confirm everything is still okay to go ahead as arranged, you get told yes and confirm all the details. Then turn up in the morning of the day of the procedure to be told you don't have anything booked and needed to see written confirmation that it had in fact been booked, despite being told by them the day before everything was okay. (Luckily we had the letter on us) Please also be aware that when they book the appointment for you and provide an estimate for the procedure it is only valid for 3 months. They don't make you aware of this when booking and only inform you when you bring your pet in on the day and time of your appointment. (An increase for us of £130) They also request you to sign a consent form to make sure you agree to the higher price. Which they don't tell you to take your time to read. Instead you have to sign before the procedure can take place. They require you to speak up and tell them you need a few minutes to review or discuss it with someone else. These are some of the things that I wish we knew to make the process less stressful than it needed to be for us. We have been with park vets for a number of years and had raised this with them to hopefully improve the process for others however are disappointed with how we were treated.

Only aware of this practice due to the sudden loss of our dog Molly, I met my other half who had brought the dog as an emergency. I have to say that although I was too late to say goodbye to Molly the staff were absolutely brilliant especially the lady on the desk, they treated our old friend with such compassion and respect and we were not rushed when saying goodbye. A few days later absolutely unexpected we received a card from them with sympathies from all the staff which was very much appreciated, they completely looked after us from the moment my other half arrived to when I collected Molly's ashes. Amazing service and kindness I will never forget, cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you.

First used Park a couple of years ago to get a second opinion on a diagnosis from the practice I was currently using and had used for 20+ years. Was so impressed I transferred to them and have been going ever since. You can get same day appointments, the vets, nurses and reception staff are all welcoming whilst maintaining professionalism. I consider the pricing to be very competitive and don't get that feeling of being called back unnecessarily just to keep hiking up the bill. The place itself is spotless, easily accessible with plenty of car parking. Highly recommend.

My puppy had a medical emergency yesterday after a rare reaction to her jabs,the minute I walked into the practice she was taken immediately to be monitored and treated. The vets,nurse and receptionist allude sure I was kept updated as her treatment was being administered. It was an extremely worrying time for myself,however they dealt with her medical issues and thanks to them shes here next to me chewing my phone as I leave this review I will be forever grateful 3 years ive been registered with scraptoft Park vets and I wouldn't consider anywhere else.

Took my cat for his annual check up and vaccines this morning. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist as always. We were seen by a new vet, Kian, who was so lovely to both my cat and I. My cat is usually nervous at the vet but was very calm with Kian’s gentle approach. I was really happy to see my cat so relaxed when getting checked and appreciate the advice and reassurance given to ensure he stays fit and healthy. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice as I have been taking my cat here for nearly 8 years with no issues.

Worst experience we have ever had at a vets . All they are interested in is taking your money and i will add that all their prices are over what you should be paying . The vet was abrupt sarcastic and rude showed no interest in the helping our pet. just kept saying he "wasn't a mind reader" . Receptionist has no manners and sarcastic . my advise would be too stay away . The only reason i have given one star is for the lady vet that we spoke to at the end . but by this point it was to late

I can't praise the staff at the scraptoft lane site enough brilliant staff and service always friendly and helpful and amazing with the animals been using them for a long time now and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog and the sympathy card they send when we loose our best friends is a lovely touch my shorkie Freddie loves going to the vets and Helen is definitely one of his favourites keep up the amazing service your all brilliant

Over priced, and try to push cost on to you via drugs not needed for your pet. We left park view due to costs and unprofessionism, ironically referred back to them by pets at home only to be charged three times the cost. And the info given was noninformative and indecisive. "You could have the operation done, or maybe not." Real professional. Left there none the wiser and £145 down. This is why we left there.

Just had my wonderful dog Roxy put to sleep today. My family are heartbroken, but the vet and the receptionist at the scraptoft surgery were so kind and compassionate towards us and (most importantly) Roxy. They allowed me to spend all the time I needed with her, they were so reassuring and explained everything to me. They listened to what I wanted, even though I know I was waffling. Thank you xx

Our dog Buster had lymphoma. The staff Angie, Helen & Sarah were wonderful throughout the whole awful experience. Esther, the Vet was Compassionate, sensitive and most importantly to us; straightforward & honest throughout. If I've missed any of the lovely staff out in my confusion& grief I apologise. We've been using The Park vets for years. The staff their are always so friendly. The practice is clean and well organised and if you have to make that horrible decision to have your pet put to sleep they go above and beyond to be kind and compassionate. We don't even live in the area any longer but still travel to go there because its so good.

My initial appointment was cancelled and rescheduled at a convenient time on the same day with minimum fuss to myself . Excellent veterinary service supported by administrative service and communication of the same high standard . Would highly recommend the Park Vet Group to anyone !

All the vets we've seen there have been brilliant - very professional and yet very good at explaining things (and making time to explain things). Wouldn't take my dogs - and cat - anywhere else. Also; very reasonably priced (at least compared to our old practice).

I've been coming to this vet for years. Receptionists are lovely. The vets are thorough and explain everything so well. My dog has lots of problems, so she's a regular, unfortunately, and I've always come away feeling satisfied! Wouldn't go anywhere else =)

Losing Bear I was deverstated and I was given 5* treatment, especially from Vineka, who I have never heard a bad word about. The staff remember your pets name, are friendly and caring. It's a great vets for pets and humans.

They saved my cats life on an emergency appointment. Everyone was kind, and friendly which put us at ease, the vet had our cat sorted in no time. Now she's back to destroying everything I love and shedding on the carpets!

Very poor service - The receptionist is very rude. I have stopped taking my cat here, and travel to another vet service is spot on, and not only do they love animals they treat there customers with respect!

Both my cats are greeted by name by friendly staff. I'm sure if they didn't mind being captured and taken to the vet's they would agree. They are always calmer after the visit.
