Main meal for Parkinson secret supper Sheppard pie with cabbage. This was very nice and the gave a good portion of food. Staff were helpful, friendly and my food was hot. People who had the the chicken dish was not happy as it was not cooked well enough, on occasion this dish was sent back twice.

Went to the rectory for the first time this weekend and was very impressed. We were on a bit of a crawl so popped in but ended up having 3 pints. Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff. Hopefully will get onto the dart boards next time (Our fault for not booking!)

Went here for a work Christmas do and had a very reasonable meal considering the number of us. Steak was cooked a good medium rare which was also impressive for the number served at the same time. Not the cheapest and quite busy but overall a good night. More

Very nice waitress and good food. The only thing that spoilt it for us was that the music was too loud and conversation was difficult. I did ask the waitress, but she said she couldn't do anything about it. So I hope this message gets to someone who can.

Really nice staff, cosy place right next to the St Paul's Church. Went for an early diner on a Tuesday evening and ordered a veg meal (butternut, brie and beetroot pie with new potatoes and Mediterranean veg) and it was delicious! Came on a

A little disappointed... Having eaten here a couple of times before, we returned for my sister's birthday. Although we arrived early we were shown directly to our table - one of the snug booths inside. We had a hot toddy each - mine was a

Where do I begin... Over an hour and a half wait for drinks. Zero communication from staff, no explanation for the wait. Food order cancelled when table was booked for 'dinner'. Multiple tables around us walked out after waiting so long.

In Birmingham on my own for a night (September 2022), I could not have found a better place to eat, drink and chill out. The bar was lively, not rowdy, and the food was just what I'd hoped for. All of the staff were friendly and helpful

Had a lovey few hours here, we had 3 hours playing darts with a food platter. We were a group oldest in their 70s and youngest being 10 years old. Our visit was on a Saturday afternoon and all members of the group felt comfortable and

The classy Rectory pub is an establishment in St. Paul’s square. It has been serving quality craft beers to generations of customers. I’ve never had the pleasure of eating here. I’m happy to say, after my visit, I am chuffed with the

Really great place for a few beers and a laugh. Good selection of beer/cider etc and the food is top notch! Would definately recommend even if you do not play darts as there are a variety of dart games to play

Slight wine bar feel rather than pub, pint of Theakstons was memorable. Solid food offering served by professional staff, and mojito cocktails really good. Slipped straight down!

Great place for a darts night with friends! Once the dart board was working we had a great time. The music playing was also great and the service excellent. More

Great place to have a work lunch. Generally quite quiet at lunch time. Food can take a while so make sure to order quick. But always had a really nice meal More

Very smart bar with prices to match. The HPA I tried was okay, but my partner's £5 gin cocktail was very good. A little courtyard garden to enjoy the fresh air

Haven't eaten here, just drinks. They allow a small group to meet here occasionally for an early lunchtime meeting. Very welcoming and good bar service. More

Really nice place. I just have a Guinness but most of the tables were booked for the dining. Probably will give a shot next time in Birmingham
