I wanted a bike a couple years ago but had very little knowledge on the topic. I liked the idea of hybrids and had experience on a holiday with a gravel bike. In the first shop I start at - Cycle Surgery (within Snow & Rock in Birmingham - I meet Fox who shows immediate passion and interest in wanting to recommend the right bike for me. Alongside his exceptional knowledge, he has a great Customer Service attitude and so, before a knew it, I'd purchased a bike! I normally like to get a few choices on things before committing to spending money, but Fox had covered off all my questions, queries and current/future requirements, so it was a no brainer. It did help that Fox had found an ideal, discounted option for me too! Most recently, Fox serviced my bike with all the - now usual - expertise and enthusiasm using his new mobile setup and I highly recommend Fox does your regular and specialist services as you'll know it's in good hands. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I cannot thank Red Fox District enough for coming to my rescue. I bought a new bike which turned out to have a rear caliper issues along with gearing. I had days to go before commencing a charity ride from Coventry to London and with the current situation with bike shops so busy, no one would book me in. The Red Fox District got me in straight away although he was extremely busy. He fixed my braking issue which not many companies wanted to touch being a BMC on top of not being able to assist, replaced cables, fixed my gearing, gave it a overall check and even took it for a ride to make sure it was tip top before handing it back. The knowledge and professionalism is second to none and I will be returning to them although there is travel involved so I highly recommend this shop if you want 5 star service and value for money.

The best service ever!!! I cycle to work daily and one day on the way back home my derailleur just broke to pieces. Immediately, I texted Fox to make an appointment and got a response within minutes saying to drop off the bike in the workshop the next day morning. A few hours later a got a video explaining how and what was fixed and photos of the end result. I was simply amazed with the quality and speed of service as on the next day my like new bike was back on the road again. Don't even think about going to Halfords or any other bike service place. Wow! All I can say is that this guy really knows his stuff. I am amazed at how he set my new bike up in such a short time, identifying issues with brakes, gears, handlebars and forks. I had it sent to me with a pretty bad setup by the bike shop and he brought it to life, making it an absolute dream to ride and worth the money I paid for it. I won't hesitate for a second to go back to him for a regular service and any upgrades or repairs. Very professional and clearly explained everything he did in detail, also giving sound advice on maintenance and safety. If that wasn't enough, the price was also incredibly reasonable. Red Fox came to my house to do a health check on my old and trusty bike. Red Fox had a professional approach to the work throughout, the right tools for any job, worked cleanly and left no mess behind. I bought a second-hand bike without assessing it properly. Went to Red Fox for a brake bleed and was impressed with his workshop. Booked me in for a next day repair and carried out the work whilst I waited! Super friendly guy with lots of knowledge and experience who goes above and beyond to get the job done. There were a few problems with my brakes and he was up front about the issue and didn’t charge me for work that couldn’t be accomplished. He even carried out some research for me and contacted me with advice the next day. Red Fox provides a much more personal service than the major chains would be able to. What an amazing guy. Got a tyre puncture in my bike and after looking on Google, I text him and replied instantly. Told me to come down. He repaired the puncture straight away to get me up and running again. Very knowledgeable and passionate about bikes. Told me what I need to get long term. What amazed me...he took nothing! I offered and insisted but he was adamant that he doesn't want anything. Don't get individuals like that these days who go out their way to help you for nothing. Hi there. Just wanted to share my experience purchasing my bottom bracket for shimano. Price was excellent, i was assisted and made sure it was the one for me with the measurements all the way to sending it via post. Payment via paypal was i think quickest and safest. Order was packed properly, sent the next day and received right away. I was even assisted as soon as i got the item i was given things to do and with what i need to convert my 3x to 1x chain and crank . I first met Fox when he was working at Cycle Surgery two years ago. He is very dedicated and passionate about bicycles in general. On the mountain bike I had a problem with the rear gears and the derailleur, he solved it and did a complete check, very happy :) These days I own a road bike and I keep in touch with Fox for any advice or problem. I had a crank creak on my roadbike. Met Fox who diagnosed bearing replacement. He found the parts online then sent the link to me to order. This showed complete transparency of costs in my opinion. I went to fox with a puncture rear tire and he was able to fix the puncture very quick and efficiently in addition to advising better tires and tire slime in order to prevent future minor punctures. Furthermore, he went the extra step to re-align my rear derailleur which was also causing me some issues. I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone. Excellent customer service.

Fox is the best. Prices are very fair, he’s kind and helpful and wants all his customers to feel they got excellent help and service. Gave my bike to fox so that he can sort the brakes out. Once I got there he also sorted my pedals out for free which were not attached and told me what the problem was too.
