Wait staff was great and pleasant and so I ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich and received a chopped chicken club but ok and when I tried it it had an off smell and taste that I wasn't expecting and not that great but thought maybe it was a one off bite but wasn't as I ate half the sandwich. Wait staff was kind and offered to make something else but I don't do retake on returned food. I offered to pay for half since I ate half which I probably shouldn't have and that triggered the owner to come at me with a strong defensive attitude which is unfortunate since I was being very polite and nice about it. She grabbed the plate and said she would take it off the bill and stormed off as I was offering to pay for half. Not the kind of professionalism required in the service industry, maybe she experiences plenty of returned food and thinks people are out to rip her off rather than asking why its being returned? Btw I did pay half and left an equal tip for wait staff who tried to treat the situation correctly and who the owner should learn from.

What can I say? The beers are cold and the food is great- and the service is top notch. Within two visits the servers and bar team new my name and what I drink. Everyone is extremely friendly and I love stopping in to see how everyone is doing and grab a quick bite and a brew. The food here was a huge surprise. I expected good bar food but I find myself stopping and picking up Togo orders at least twice a week (sometimes more!) I highly recommend the breakfast burritos, although the sliders, tacos and nachos are far above par as well. Trivia (Thursday’s and Saturday’s)is a hoot and on one occasion my friends and I won 25 dollars off our tab for winning first place! Karaoke on the weekend is also worth trying out if you can muster up the courage. I hope I don’t move anytime soon because finding a home bar like this might be nearly impossible. Thanks for being awesome guys!

I absolutely love the Tav! The food, the service, and the atmosphere are fantastic! The Food...omg they have the best Korean Nachos, Carne Asada fries, Fish & Shrimp tacos...thinking about it right now makes me want to rush over there and grab lunch! If you like the dive bar scene, you won't be disappointed! On top of great food, drink & service they have a pool table, darts, video golf and also have Karaoke a few times a week and Trivia...what more could you want?!

Best dive bar in Arizona! They have the best food and the people are awesome! Trivia two nights a week and karaoke! Atmosphere gets two stars because it's small and a tight fit between the tables. Parking lot is hard to navigate and a tight squeeze as well. Sometimes you can't find a space inside or out. That's because it's great food and service!

Came here for my sister's 21st birthday. Drove past this place for years thinking it was called the TAY as they use a martini glass for the V. Anyways the bartender/server was kind, reminded my sister to get the flipped ID within 30 days. She had a few drinks. Unfortunately no bar food after midnight so jack in the box run was in order after closing time. I don't know if I will be back but it is great to find a great local bar that is fun for meeting friend, karaoke, darts and pool in this dive. Check it out if you are in the area.

The Tav had been recommended to me for their wings. Tried the honey garlic wings on the recommendation of the staff. They were awesome! Staff was personable, knew the menu and were eager to make suggestions for the best combinations. Definitely going back.

I love dive-bars, and this one ranks amongst the best I've visited! Was in town for B-J and some hiking, and was recommended here for food by the bartender at Simple Machine Brewing. The food was excellent, and the beverages were reasonable. The staff was very personable, and the patrons were chill and friendly. Ended up stopping in a couple of times during the visit; the second was Karaoke night, and it was very lively. The locals are fortunate to have The Tav, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

So the atmosphere is 3 stars because that's REALLY what YOU'RE looking for. You don't want bougie....you want Cheers...where everyone knows your name! You want friends in low places and bomb food with a bar tender that knows what a real pour is. THIS is your place. You can't beat it!

Awesome spot. Was in town for work, stopped in for a beer and was told I needed to try the food. Came back next night and did. Hands down some of the best tacos I've had in Arizona. Korean crunchy tacos insane flavor, fish tacos cooked perfectly and built to not fall apart and make a mess. Went back again just to keep trying different foods. Never was disappointed, staff was equally as awesome. Anytime I'm in the area it will be a must stop spot.

Although it's kind of in a Industrial okay side of town area this is a good little dive bar. Inside is better does not reflect the outside landscape. Just a bunch of people sitting at the bar and tables drinking, shooting pool and hanging out. Although the last time I was there some guy in a booth threw up but that just adds to the charm, lol. At least his buddy cleaned it up.

Small place for a busy place. One pool table, hard to play with so many people around. Took a waitress just about 45 mins to come even ask if I wanted something to eat. Food was delicious. Korean tacos, chicken tenders, and chicken carnitas burrito. Recommend going.

Stopped in here for some drinks with friends and what an awesome little bar! We came in to play some pool and hang out till sunset and had an awesome time. Danni was a spectacular waitress and she put up with all our shenanigans. Will definitely be back! HUH-HAA!

Stopped here on a Friday afternoon for a couple of beers. Ended up order a plate if nachos as well. The waitress talked us into getting Carne Asada on the. Definitely the right call. I know that some smaller establishment like can make you feel unwelcome if you're not a regular. Not these folks though. The staff was amazing and fun. The other patrons were also a good time. We're glad we stopped in. We'll definitely be back.

Nice little kind of dive bar that I liked. Didn't want anything real fancy, just good food. The Chimichanga was good with the Carne asada. Good prices for what you get and that is hard to find these days. I look forward to stopping in again.

The atmosphere here is for sure dive bar. If you like a dive bar with good music on, good food, and cold beer this is a great place to go. Pool, darts, and I was told they are trying to bring back karaoke (thanks Covid). The staff are all genuinely nice people that truly give you that service with a smile. All the customers were nice too even played pool, sang some songs as a group. Just a good genuine fun atmosphere.

ok dive bar if you want to stop in for a pint or with a few friends. Parking lot is weird. Service needs work for sure. Not enough bartendersto handle the customers quickly on a weekend. For such a small place, (get em served and on to the next) waiting shouldn't be that long. It was St. Paddy's Day on a Friday. Karaoke system is horrible. New speakers or something please!

Now' I Do have to Say' that ' The Tav' has everything you're looking for. Whether it's GREAT! Food any day or night of the Week or Weekend. But also has 3 Amazing Night's where you can enjoy some Good singing from just the Regular's and visits from other people that come by to Sing. But I can Guarantee! You No'matter what ever you come to The Tav' for? You will be Very' Glad, and satisfied you came by The Tav'.

The bartender was more interested in eating her lunch then taking care of customers. I was there at 12:00 noon. Had the Arizona melt the sandwich is good I was convinced to order the onion rings as a side to go with it onion rings were doughy terrible. In her defense she did offer me some french fries but since I was on a lunch schedule too late

Im surprised i'd never heard of the place! I wasn't feeling all too well, so I left about 10-15 min after arriving to drop someone off - but from the time I was there, no complaints! Not only did the staff ask if I needed anything to eat/drink, but soon after, I was asked if I was doing OK and if I'd like a drink of water... the atmosphere was friendly as fuuuuuuuu------ I'll be back

Beer selection on tap was not good at all it was a nice little place to visit wish they had another pool table and maybe they need to expand the place a little bit because it was a little crowded not because there was a lot of people but because it is a small place .

Truly a locals bar. Fun hangout. I can see why this ticked away tavern has a full parking lot. Bloody Mary was on point! Plenty of great specials too. Personal experience so I had to knock off a couple of stars. Carnitas nachos….laid me out sick for 2 days. Love nachos, love carnitas, they were delicious. Sadly an intense reaction I’ve never experienced and will spar details.

I went here with some friends for karaoke and it was one of the best places I've been to in a long time period. But the people were so friendly it was a very fun and loving atmosphere and this was really really good.

This place wants so desperately to be a dive bar. Unfortunately the food is kind of good and the beer selection makes Gen-Z’rs moist in the nether realm. Can recommend although make sure to drive your huge, clean and unused for its intended purpose truck there as you will fit in with 90% of the people attempting to park in the small lot. Overall excellent

Had a great time at this little hidden gem. Not the cleanest place in town but the drinks were made well and the service was good. Enjoyed playing darts with the group I was with. Not a big fan of karaoke but they had that going on too if you are into listening to people who obviously should not be singing in public (or the shower for that matter).

Great broad selection in the menu and that they didn't increase their prices during an inflation, AMAZING! This bar is a hole in the wall with a pool table, something you would see on TV with low dim light, big TVs ... but solid customer service and very tasty food. Good no nonsense experience

It is a small comfortable place it wasn't very crowded when I was there. I preferred by someone regarding the food. I went in I ordered the wings and the food pork sliders and I was not disappointed. I was astonished by the portions, pretty big for the price It was comfortable, but upbeat and the staff was very very accommodating and sweet.

The Tav is PERFECT. Everyone who works there is EXCEPTIONAL the food is AMAZING. Without hesitation I 100% recommend that you experience the Tav. It's the "Bomb diggity!"

Great food for a local watering hole (especially all there different tacos literally 5 stars for it being a bar) also the all day breakfast is delicious and unique. Great service to. I believe it was a single waitress and I'm not sure if there was even a bartender working the entire place but never felt neglected.

Just went for Karaoke. Drinks were made correctly and service was great. Mics and sound system were bad, but it's not really a karaoke spot and I had a good time. Would like to eat the food next time, as it looked and smelled pretty good

Went to the Tav for the first time today and ordered Nachos and Wings. The food tasted amazing, the sauce on the wings was flavorful and the nachos were loaded. The only small issue was the food was not super hot. It was a bit warm. The bar was a bit busy so I will try them again soon. Their menu looked great.

Small, clean, and friendly. I have tried multiple things off of the menu, and I have never been disappointed! Try the "mi amigo fries" but sub tater tots..... amazing!! The wings are good, hamburgers are big and tasty. The drinks and company are pretty awesome as well. I would 10 out of 10 recommend the Tav!!

I've ordered delivery from here a few times and it is delicious! The wings are fantastic--perfectly cooked and the bbq-hot is a great mix. I also recommend the ranch. I've had the fish tacos, the chimichanga, and the korean tacos are full of flavor. Always hot and made the way I ordered. Defiitely recommend.

The Tav is awesome. Used to be call Flightline. Has really good service, and a nice layout. The food is by far, not bar food- it's higher-end restaurant quality with great taste and presentation. The fish tacos are the best. Just fyi, you can order an entire place of bacon here. Definitely recommended.

I love this place to meet with our work crew after hours to grab a few beers. If you are looking for a great little Dive Bar, this is it! I mean that in a good way. Sometimes that is just what you need to blow off steam with your work friends!

It's that kind of dive-y place that's not creepy, kind of comfortable and has good hot crispy wings. A girl can go in there by herself for wings and a drink without feeling uncomfortable. It's hard to find a place like it and there should be more.

The wings were not only flavored just right but we're good size and the honey mustard chicken sliders...oh ya...great job!! Hanna toke great of us and everyone else!! Great job everyone!!

Great spot. 'Locals dive bar' feel. Golden Tee, darts and a pool table. Surprisingly great food. The Korean tacos might be the best tacos I've ever had. The staff is excellent, great bartenders and friendly patrons.

Love this bar!! I wish I could go more often especially on thursday nights! The bartender and Corey are awesome on this night! They even have trivia you can win and get some money off your bar tab! Love this place!!
