Brought my clothes in for same day service and then got a phone call at 4:30 saying my clothes were ready and they close in 30 mins. I was more than 30 mins away. I called and left a message and it went unreturned even until the next day. When I went in on the Wednesday more than 24hrs later I inquired about a refund because I paid for same day but the person who took my clothes didn't tell me that same day had to be picked up before 5pm. According to google the hours are until 10pm so when she said "pick up before closing" that's what I had in mind. I mentioned this to the person who was there that day and they promptly took a defensive position and pointed that there was a sign...I literally had to turn my head behind the counter to see what sign she was talking about and the sign she was referring to was outside of the building on the opposite side of the entry door. To be honest I'm not even annoyed I didn't get the refund but mostly annoyed she used that lame sign as a justification and immediately got defensive. I didn't want to argue so I just asked for my clothes and left but definitely won't be going back again.

I brought my clothes there yesterday, 2 regular sized hampers for wash and fold. They told no problem and gave me a receipt for about $35 to pay when picking up which was fine. This morning I had my friend go pick them up for me, and she told me that the lady who works there rudely said “we haven’t even put her laundry in yet… we’re just getting to it now. You’re way too early what are you doing here?” My friend was like ok I’ll come back later then I wasn’t sure when it would be done…. I get a text message to go pick it up about 4 hours later and was then told it was almost $70.00! I wasn’t expecting that.. and apparently they had forgot to add the other hamper.. so it was “my fault” and I had to pay $70 instead of the $35 I was quoted when I dropped It off. I get the laundry home and open the bag and 3 of my sweaters are still wet. They’re not even dried properly. Will not be going back there again.

First time using. The GIANT machine is perfect for king comforter and mattress pad. Only issue is wifi availability. My phone picked up thewashguest as the wifi but I could not find the password posted anywhere. I was only getting data if I stood near the entrance. Is it possible to post your password to make it a little more user friendly since paying by dexterpay and the data kept losing signal. Today August 6 used machines 9,8,5. All3 said fill error. Not enough water flow to fill the machines. Had to add water by hand for loads to have proper amount to tumble in.machine 9 says final rinse, 11 minutes and slow fill error while other 2 machines are finished and in dryer. All 3 started with 25 minutes. I believe the water supply line should be 1 inch not 3/4 inch supply line to feed all the machines.

I recently moved to the area and found myself looking for a good place to do my laundry. Someone suggested The Wash Laundry. When I walked in I immediately was pleased with how clean everything was. I also saw that it was very secure with all the video camera's. The prices were very comparable to others in Hamilton and the machines were in excellent condition. I knew that I had found a gem in the city and that I would be back for sure. Then I met the owner and the woman (Sara) who works there. These people are so amazing. As a disabled person I sometimes find it hard to do my laundry and they are right there with a smile willing to help me in any way. Recently had an issue with my machine and needed some laundry done. First, they were very quick and responsive to arranging pick up and drop off, I appreciated the pricing Which was made to be reasonable since I don’t have a car. And the clothing was really well laundered. Sweaters in perfect condition, fabrics exactly as they should be. I am impressed at how well the clothing turned out. Also, if you have hypersensitivities, the detergents they use are good quality and effective. Honestly - I’m not terrible at laundry - but it’s kinda tough doing my own laundry now after The Wash did it so much better. It’s like getting the a blowout by a hair stylist, and you can never recreate that at home! The Wash - thank you for making a tough day better!

Based on the reviews, I felt pretty confident that this was a reliable laundromat. I spoke to a woman who assured me that they could wash and dry a queen size blanket and duvet and that the laundry detergent was scent free. Before I went in, I called and confirmed that the detergent was scent free and even offered to bring in my own detergent. I was told that it wasn’t necessary as they would wash in scent free soap. My husband prepaid and the next day we picked up the blankets. Well, they were washed in scented detergent and the duvet was still damp when it was packed into the plastic bag! I’m now on my way to re- wash the blankets at a different laundromat. Really disappointed in the service!

While I was there, another patron, from out of town, badly needed to use the washroom. She called the owner ( number posted on walls for emergencies). He gave her passcode for washroom. She appreciated it so much, as during Covid hard to find public washrooms open. Facility has wheeled laundry baskets, coin machine, small folding tables. Seemed expensive but only comparison I have is laundromat in my apartment bldg. I went to this laundromat because they have double- and triple-load machines. Great for duvets and such

Our washing machine broke recently and we have to wait a few weeks for the parts to come in. In the meantime I've been making use of the incredible facilities at "The Wash", and I have NOT been disappointed! The whole place is immaculate. The machines are brand new and really well set up to make doing several loads at once a breeze. There's a machine to make change, which is super convenient; and the owner/manager was on site and very helpful and kind when I came in. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Advertised load sizes are misleading. The "Double" washing machine is smaller than an average machine. "Triple" is about average, maybe a little bigger. "Quad" is a big washing machine but not four times an average machine and the "6x load" is massive. Even though machines are new, they only accept coins, there's no way to pay with credit or debit or anything. Dryers take quarters only. Otherwise, things are clean and secure and the machines work well.

I needed a large machine for my king duvet. On arriving I found that for a little extra, they would wash, dry, fold, etc. It was ready on time and nicely wrapped - no small feat for size. The place was absolutely spotless and I was very impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to use again if necessary and like not having to wait around. Staff was great - on the phone and in person.

The Wash is simply perfect, the machines are wonderful and so was the staff. The place was spotless and clean. I was aided by Sara today who was extremely professional and very helpful. If you are looking for the right place to do laundry this is it Clean, efficient, and great value for money.

The staff at the wash is friendly and so wonderful! I was amazed at how clean and tidy their business was, and the customer service could not have been better! I had them wash a whole suitcase full of laundry and it was washed, dried and folded with care and precision for SUCH a great value.

Brought my bed clothes down, the day before, got them back the next day. Friendly staff, good prices. Cost another 15 dollars, I was under 10 lbs. Be sure you bring at least 10 when you drop off the laundry. Great wash and fold service.

I brought 4 big bags of laundry - sheets, towels, blankets, clothes and pillows - to the Wash and they did an amazing job! Brought it in at 8:30am and everything was done by 4pm. Will definitely be going back!

The location is very convenient and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of The Wash. It’s obvious that the owners take pride in this business and there’s no where else I’ll do my laundry from now on.

Thé place is so very clean and the staff are so friendly. They also have free wi fi. The environment is calm too so I was able to wait peacefully while my clothing washed. 10/10 glad I came here :)

First time there and I was the only one there - it was great ! Wash and dry done in one hour. Only downside was I could not find the Wifi password anywhere.
