I have been to a few laundromats mats in my life and I don't go often. I was in town to help out with relief and found myself there an extended time. On top of that I was pretty busy during the day hours and traffic didn't help. This location was opened shortly after the hurricane and had full services available. I was able to drop off my laundry for wash and fold service early in the morning and pick it up later that day at a very affordable rate. This really helped me out while I was busy helping others!! When I was inside I was blown away by the type of laundromat it was. It's very clean and spacious. It has different zones and areas while you wait on your clothes. They have several media watching areas. They even have a wall of mirrors lights and outlets if you want to do some basic cosmetology. It's really unique establishment and a great service to it's customers. There's even snacks for sale. It's a chore to do laundry but not a bad place at all to do it in. Wash and fold is $1.15 a pound with a 10 pound minimum. I even had to visit a second time for wash and fold. I was kind of in a pinch of time but they they were able to take it close to closing and have it ready at open the next day! Kevin the owner is great people and he has some great employees as well! They love and appreciate girl scout cookies as tips too. Come visit if you need and are in the area.

I have had the pleasure of using the Washington Laundromat in New Orleans twice now. Each time it was a wonderful experience! The owner, Kevin, is super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The facilities are spacious and clean, and there are plenty of washers and dryers of various sizes. The machines all seem new and in very good working order. I was able to do multiple loads simultaneously on each visit, saving myself lots of time versus trying to do laundry at my apartment complex. There’s also complimentary coffee and WiFi provided for paying customers. And one of the things that I like best is that each individual washer and dryer has a credit/debit card reader on it, for those of us who don’t have a roll of quarters. The location is on Washington avenue, between Broad street and Earhart Blvd. Basically in Broadmoor, but centrally located and close to lots of areas of New Orleans. Give it a try. Highly recommended!

This was a very nice and clean establishment! I enjoyed the ambiance since I am from the west coast and we don’t have comfortable seating and the luxury of television while we wait! The owner was super friendly and personable! The prices were great and I loved that I was able to use my debit/credit card! The owner took the time to help us understand the machines which was awesome because 9/10 I’m not sure if I did it correctly or not! Complimentary coffee was also offered while we waited! Super covid friendly since this place is HUGE and has a great layout! Thank you for such great hospitality while we visited New Orleans!

Absolutely impeccable!! This place is SO clean and well kept! Convenient location (for me personally) and easy to find. There are PLENTY of comfy seats to sit and wait for your clothing to finish up. The restrooms are nice and clean, there is a section for kids, plenty of working machines to use, also there's a tv and magazines for entertainment if you'd like! I felt safe and did not regret choosing this place for my services. I am absolutely satisfied with this place! If I could give 10 stars, I WOULD

Probably the nicest Laundromat I've ever been to. All the machines are high quality, clean, and they offer a Wash, dry, fold service too. They only accept card but it's really cost effective for the quality you get. And it's a comfortable place to wait. They also have snacks if u need them. They have large folding table and the area is quite spacious so there's plenty of room to get around. Bathrooms are well kept and clean as well. The owners are very sweet and accomodating.

By far one of the cleanest nicest friendliest places to wash your clothes they have a kids area multiple seating for your phone and charging needs a teenage area so your kids don't have to be bored and run around and cause issues everything has been wiped down and is fully functional I recommend this place if you're in town by far the best so come check this place out even if you have a washer and dryer it's worth the coming in and feel of the place

Just started going here and it is really such an amazing experience compared to my past ones. Everyone is super friendly, the machines are clean and fast, and the dryers have lint screens you clean yourself so you don't have to worry about dirty industrial lint screens/damp clothes. Also the machines take debit cards which is super convenient, and there's ample places to sit and relax, charge your electronics, and watch TV. Also decent prices!

The Washington Laundromat offered a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The owner welcomed me and gave me a walk through. His relational skills were phenomenal and welcomed me to the city! There's a place to study which I utilized. There's also areas for kids with entertainment. A coffee bar and comfortable seating areas to relax! There were plenty of machines with good pricing. Just an hour to wash and dry! I definitely recommend!

Cute lil spot. They have lots of places to sit while you wait for your clothes. 3.50 for a small load and 4.50 for a big one (u can fit about 2 loads in there if you’re not picky about separating clothes/wash on cold). The dryer is 1.50 per 30 minutes and very large. The staff is very friendly and there is lots of machines. I would give 5 stars if they took quarters cuz I came strapped—sadly it’s card only ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This place is awesome. I do my laundry here regularly. With the exception of a few dryer sheets on the floor occasionally the place is very clean. The staff on hand lets you know they care and are always willing to help or answer questions if you have them. There are several sizes of washers so you can wash a huge load if needed and the dryers are huge as well, and it only takes 1 or 2 cycles to dry most loads.

WOW I’m a law student so my time is really limited. This place is clean, HUGE, lots of washers and dryers sizes at great prices, with tons of couches, chairs, TVs and kids play area but my favorite part is the bar stool section. I can drink coffee and do my homework while I wait for my laundry (which is super quick and clean). I found my new spot.

Friendly staff who remember you and your family, good natured & hard working, happy to continue supporting this small business even though we moved we drive 20 minutes to use their wash and fold service, always efficient turnaround, you can tell your things are being treated with care, and you get everything back folded to perfection!

As a business traveler, whose refuses to pay the extortion-level cost of hotel laundry services, I’m always appreciative of a great laundromat. This is by far the cleanest, most well-run laundromat I’ve ever been to. And the best part is all the machines take credit card, perfect for a Canadian who typically travels with little cash.

Love this laundry matt! The owner is super sweet and his family also works here and are all super nice. It's very clean and well managed. They are affordable wich is a bonus! They also offer a affordable wash,fold, dry service so you can drop off and not worry about it while you run errands they give you a call when done.

My little washer and dryer refuses to do quilts and thick blankets so I stopped by the Washington Laundromat only to find friendly staff, clean machines, and reasonable prices. This is the nicest laundromat I've ever been to. They will also do wash n fold for you if you don't have time to DIY. What else could you ask for?

This laundromat was very clean and comfortable! There’s an area for children to play while waiting, lounge area for adults, and bar top area with multiple charging outlets. The machines accept electronic payments and there is free wifi. Wonderful establishment and will make this my go to whenever I am in town!

Today was my first visit and I must say I am happy with my choice. My washing machine went out and where waiting on maintenance to repair so all I needed to do was wash. I googled laundry rooms and this one caught my eye. It’s clean, quiet, and the guy was friendly he greeted me when I walked in.

I was staying at the Napsi hotel Which does not offer any laundry service. I gave Washington laundromat a call and they came out and picked up my clothes, laundered And folded and hung them.. Delivered them the next day. Kevin was terrific. I will use them again Whenever I travel to New.Orleans.

the last three times i’ve came here have made my day miserable. Only a few washer and dryers work here. you will stuck here all day waiting for one to be avalible to you. also another issue is the young lady who works there .. she always has a attitude and doesn’t really like to help you.

They take credit or debit cards but the cheapest machine is $3.50. for the smallest machine. The place is clean and has plenty of space to chill out while waiting for your clothes to wash. You can use the desk to work or lounge in front of the TV. Great place. I would definitely go back.

Cleanest laundromat I have been to! I was traveling on a road trip and my hotel didn't have self serve laundromat. Free parking, nice AC, super clean, kid play area, and workstation with outlets. Not a coin laundromat and you do have to purchase a card for $1.

By far my favorite laundromat. Very spacious, clean, and well attended to by a great staff. And the machines take cards! Lots of room to sit and watch the news or hang out while your stuff is washing, free coffee available. Areas for children to play too.

One of the highest rated laundromats for a reason. Very clean, spacious laundromat! Our washer is broken and I opted for the drop off service. The staff were super friendly, service was quick and prices are reasonable. Will be using this laundromat again.

Very very very very very very clean. No unnecessary people walking around and prices are reasonable. The big washer I use is $7.00 and $2/25minutes on the big dryer. $1.15/pound for drop off. Staff is nice. But the draw for me is the cleanliness.

I started dropping off my laundry here about a month ago. The family is friendly and very accommodating for detergent types. I will continue to return here for as long as I don’t have my own washer and dryer.

Greatest place on earth if you're forced to use a washeteria. They are so sweet friendly and helpful and clean!!! It's the only one that don't make your clothes smell like onion rings.

Washing clothes is probably my least favorite thing to do. I enjoy it here because it’s peaceful and super quiet. I came pretty early in the morning and it wasn’t crowded or anything.
