Weighting it on its star ranking of 4 star. It was a decent hotel relatively speaking, but it was not a good marriot bonvoy hotel. The breakfast is better than Sheraton center, but the overall experience for a marriot bonvoy hotel was nothing close to Sheraton. If you can pony up the extra it is well worth it to go to the Sheraton center. Westin: Amenities 8/10 - old, but comprehensive. If you’re looking for budget and amenities, this is decent. Marriot Bonvoy Members - 4/10. If you are used to a hotel where they care about status it’s not this one. If you are going on points or comped, go elsewhere. Room upgrade - yes - worth it? Not really. Had to fight so that I could get breakfast vouchers because the front desk didn’t know/see/care that I booked via bonvoy and had status. Instead I had to negotiate 2/3 of the guests in my room getting breakfast vouchers since there is no lounge to speak of. Aesthetics- 4/10 economy hotel with upgrades in high traffic areas. It’s basically an economy hotel in a big city. Overall Service-9/10 bellhop pushed this up two points. That guy is amazing and critical to the operation! Room-5/10 for a 4 star hotel it’s basic. Also the room key never worked and we needed to constantly go to the front desk to get it redone every day. Not their fault, but painful. Rooms are the kind where you can hear everything so don’t expect much privacy.

Minimal sound proofing. You will hear hall noise.
Walkability
Good if you want to visit the island, but not much in the surrounding area. Count on Uber eats after dark.
Food & drinks
Lounge in the main floor is ok. It’s a basic airport lounge setup. Didn’t go to the penthouse, and no one mentioned or recommended it.
Noteworthy details
If you are elderly, you should park at the hotel. You will need to brave stairs or walk up a steeper incline to access the lobby.

My recent stay at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto was, unfortunately, underwhelming. While the hotel's location is undeniably ideal, boasting stunning views and easy access to local attractions, several aspects of our stay fell short of expectations. Firstly, the hotel's amenities were a letdown. We were particularly disappointed to find that both the steam room and sauna were out of service, which detracted from our relaxation plans. Additionally, the dining experience at the hotel restaurant was subpar. The food quality did not meet our expectations, and most concerning was the incident where my son fell ill after eating spaghetti from their menu. The functionality of the hotel also posed significant inconveniences. The elevators were notably slow, causing delays and frustration. However, the most distressing event was the unexpected fire alarm in the middle of the night. The urgency and confusion of having to evacuate the building, particularly with young children, was a daunting experience. Carrying our kids down multiple flights of stairs amidst a crowd was not only challenging but also raised concerns about the hotel's emergency preparedness and guest safety. Overall, while the Westin Harbour Castle boasts a prime location in Toronto, the various issues we encountered marred our experience. The broken amenities, the less-than-satisfactory dining options, elevator delays, and the chaotic fire alarm incident cumulatively resulted in a stay that fell significantly short of the quality and comfort we had anticipated.

Unnecessary wait to check in - one person at front desk at 6:30 p.m. Broken elevators - longer wait times Tired looking room - needs renovation Broken blinds on windows "City View" is just looking at the next door condo Temperature control was difficult to maintain Someone else's hair in shower (before I used it) no temp control for mini fridge noisy night on floor Stressful check out - person insisted that I pay for room on my credit card when night before told it was for incidentals only...only after insisting they check with manager did they discover my client was picking up room charge. No apologies from front desk...just an "Oh we made a mistake". Kind of unprofessional in my opinion. I have worked at your hotel since 1991...I have stayed there many times and other hotels across North America and can honestly say it was a bad stay. If I had to pay the $525.83 that you were attempting to force me at check-out, instead of my client, I would be asking for a substantial discount or complete refund. I work in the meetings and events industry as well, so I know how hotels run. I was there for exactly 12 hours and it was the worst stay I can remember. I don't even want to join the Marriott Bonvoy program because of this. What happened to the Westin over the years?

The best part of my stay was the staff, whose customer service was outstanding. Shout out to the parking attendants, who directed us where to park offsite due to the Westin lot being full, and to June, who checked us in expeditiously. Also, thank you to Ranali, who is helping me retrieve an item forgotten in the room. And finally, the star employee of our visit was Rio, who gave me a bottle of water upon arrival and found a safety pin to avert a wardrobe malfunction of a conference guest. The staff made for a positive experience and is the reason for my high rating.

Previous to 2023, my last stay at the Westin Harbour Castle was 12 years ago, and the first room we were assigned was a throwback to that time. After asking to be moved, we were reassigned to a room in the north tower, which was better, but not by much. The carpet gave the room a musty scent, and the dated bathroom makes lower-priced hotels in the Marriott chain look luxurious. Thankfully, the Westin Harbour Castle is under renovation and will hopefully be restored to the standards that live in my memories.

The white tea-scented toiletries are lovely.

This location was perfect for touring Toronto. Just a couple minutes walk to the streetcar station, and 20 min ride down to the Ex. Very close to the CN tower! The staff here were all friendly; valet, front desk, luggage storage. All great. The lady who was checking us out even gave a great recommendation for a cute breakfast place. However, the room that we stayed in did not match the room pictures on the website. I understand that they are doing renovations right now, but the pictures should indicate what you are receiving. Our room was in need of some repairs; the toilet made a very loud sound when flushing, the tub didn’t drain, and the carpet was very stretched and would fold up, making a tripping hazard if you weren’t careful. The wallpaper is peeling and the windows are quite dirty on the outside. We enjoyed using the pool & hot tub, and we saw that they have bikes available to use, which is a great idea in Toronto.

I was disappointed to write this review because truthfully I always liked Westins. My first issue was when I went to lay down a little bed bug wandered by my head. They moved me rooms & took care of my stay. I was in a suite. I was then moved to 3 other rooms. Two of the rooms were dirty. I’m talking full black garbage bags in the one room. Finally I was moved to what looked like a jail cell. Whatever. I went to bed & asked to check out a day early. I went to the St Regis. Now every hotel can get bed bugs but it was a bad experience. Recently thinking this was a one off I stayed again. About 8 months later. This time roaches. The manager on duty offered me 10,000 points for the trouble. I left the roaches trapped under a cup. She basically said these things happen. I asked to move & she moved me to the other tower. So I had to pack up all our suitcases & trek it over. No help by the way. Not the friendliest night manager. Guess what. Never got those points & even after I followed up nothing. I paid full price for that stay & again checked out early & went to the Ritz Carlton.

We loved this hotel! The service was among the best we’ve had. Everyone was so kind; they really went above and beyond. The views from the lakeside rooms were amazing. The hotel location next to the ferry is great for getting out to Toronto Island (a must!!!), and it’s a 10min walk to City Hall and other points of interest downtown. It happened to be my daughter’s birthday during our stay. They sent surprise complimentary desserts and a stuffy to our room for her. The restaurant staff always greeted us warmly for breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. Really everyone was wonderful. The pool is also amazing - it’s the largest pool I’ve seen in a downtown hotel and has a proper deep end. My only mini complaint is that I didn’t like that the in-room Keurig was in a sectioned off area of the bathroom. I recommend that they move them to the main room, on the dresser or desk.

I booked 2 rooms for 2nights. after i checked in, our family went in the rooms. once we opened the door, smoking smell attached our nose so much. then i complained this for both rooms. they gave me other rooms, but same. then cleaning team supposed to be the room, no one came for few hours. then i went to down to reception, then what they said was that room was fully booked and so busy , then there was nothing they could do, so they tried to give me rewards points without resolving issue. so we had to stay one night at smelly room with my kids. I went to front desk in the morning, then I could meet property manager, and she resolved all i complained within few hours. parking is so sucks here, no parking was available for guestroom user but convention center user only. this was also resolved by property manager. I would never stay here with my kids again although property manager resolved my issue and i really appreciate this.

We had a great stay at the Westin last week. Service was great from the time we arrived, with the valet, the door staff letting me know where the park was for my dog and our check-in. The next morning Shams started our day off perfectly over breakfast with the best service! Overall, outstanding customer service at the Westin.

Being located at the base of Bay street, there is so much to do within walking distance! The ferry terminal is at the base of the hotel for trips to the island, and great restaurants just steps away. Harbour front centre is just down the road and Sugar Beach park in the other direction. Massey Hall was just a short cab ride.
Walkability
Being along the water is so nice for morning and evening walks. We walked everywhere; to dinner, for coffee, for touring etc...

We were excited to be staying at the Harbour Castle but when we arrived in our Jeep, we were told it was an oversized vehicle and we would have to find public parking somewhere else. This was 3:20 in the afternoon. The manager told us that the hotel has 900 rooms and only 200 parking spots. He further told us that reservations are for rooms and do not guarantee parking. Would have been nice to know in advance. They would not do anything to assist us but offered to pay for public parking once we found it. This was terrible service and we were made to feel very unwanted. Being a Bonvoy Elite member... truly didn't matter so, i called the ROYAL YORK booked in there and left the poor service of the Harbour Castle. No problem parking our apparently oversized Jeep there.... make sure you know that parking is not guaranteed when you book your stay at the Harbour Castle ... btw for the Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, Royal York is a better option as you can travel totally underground to the hall...

We had a fabulous room on the 9th floor with a view overlooking the Toronto Islands. The room and bathroom were spacious, very comfortable and spotless. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner were in refillable containers in the shower. Body lotion and mouth wash were also provided, as well as complimentary bottled water. The Sleep Well lavender balm was a nice touch! Great to have coffee and tea making facilities. The buffet breakfast offered a range of food choices. Our only problem was with the elevators (hence not a 5 star rating). It was an absolute fiasco trying to get down to meet in the lobby at 7.45a.m. After waiting 15 mins, our only option was to go up to the 30-something floor, and then back down in a crowded elevator via every floor, saying "sorry full". Most unpleasant.

This hotel is quite expensive and by best means mediocre. The room was very old (renovations have been ongoing) and it was also not serviced well. On the day I arrived, another room had their room-service leftovers placed outside in the hallway. (as usual) It was still there 24hrs later! My room was serviced on one day only AFTER 7 in the evening. But I left in the morning at 9, only to find it still in the same condition at 6:30! Besides, the sideboard was very dusty and the AC had traces of mold on it and was really loud and blew right onto the bed (get a cold while sleeping or sweat). It was by far not worth the money, which was about 373 EURO (545 CAD) per night, excluding breakfast. The concierge-desk has also been empty, the two times I wanted to ask something. Would not go there again. The view to the bay is nice - definitely, but does not justify the high price VS the bad shape and services.

Stayed at this hotel during a recent medical conference. The staff mostly saved the experience - there was an exceptional server in the lounge - she remembered us each time we went there, even what we had to drink, and helped us to navigate the menu. Pervez at the front desk went above and beyond at check-in. The property is central & convenient. The level of cleanliness of my room was disappointing as I found several hairs from the prior guest in the bathroom upon entry. The banquet manager was attentive & staff were overall good, but morale seemed low. The rooms and parts of the hotel was dated, and wifi connectivity was unreliable. Wayfinding was confusing from the hotel to the convention centre and the escalators were not functional. The conference centre had issues with temperature control that went from frigid to overheating in the meeting rooms.

They offered an upgrade to a lake view room, but warned me they are renovating the south tower. The renovations were only during the day so it never was a bother. That said, the rooms are in dire need of a renovation. Wallpaper peeling, condensation damage, AC that only barely worked, old furniture, worn out mattress. Great view, but wished they cleaned the windows more. Pay the extra to get a renovated room. Wifi is bad. All of my team had issues with it. Eventually 20~30 min later the login screen will come up. Once connected it was fine. The lobby bar staff were great, but the staff were stretched for how busy it was. The conference food was surprisingly good. The location and the view is what saves this property. There is no step free pedestrian access to street level. You half to walk about 1.5 floors of outdoor stairs between the lobby and the sidewalk. Not fun with luggage.

I stayed here on a business trip in September for three nights. Had a king room on the 5th floor with the city view. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, the Canadians certainly like to honk their car horns and when the traffic was busy it was quite noisy from the room. One issue with the room was the shower, which was walk-in with a curtain but the water would flood under the curtain and soak the bathroom floor every day, which was really annoying and there was no way to stop this hence found myself using lots of towels to keep it dry. The location is fantastic and the bar is quite good with decent food, although I found the table service quite slow at times.

The only best thing about the stay is the breakfast. The breakfast is the only thing that meets the standard of the 4-star designation. The new renovation tower (north tower) has major construction flaws. We had to downgrade our stay from Queen size bed to Double bed (They were all booked) and the hotel didn't even refund the additional cost of the downgrade. Flaws in our original booking: - Heater in the room does not function. - TV doesn't connect to either wired or wireless internet. And hence no TV service. - Queen bed is not Queen bed. It is infact double bed. Dimension of queen bed mattress should be 60” by 80” - Trendmills in the gym doesn't connect to WiFi and hence guests are unable to get full benefit of the peloton platform. - Weight machine are outdated and needs an upgrade. Will not recommend anyone to stay at the Westin

The rooms are decent, if you get a view of the lake. The service is mediocre to lacking at best. Especially if you are in charge of booking a conference, I suggest the Sheraton Centre instead. Better accommodations, better service, a much more honest experience full of hospitality. UPDATE: 3 weeks ago, the hotel manager allegedly responded, meanwhile, that hotel manager didn’t even work at that hotel anymore? Which hotel employee was given the Google login for the hotel to impersonate the manager? In that response, they said they would contact me as soon as possible. Hasn’t happened yet. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BOOK A CONFERENCE: choose the Sheraton Centre, avoid the Westin for service, cost, and culinary reasons. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BOOK AS A GUEST: I recommend Sheraton Centre or Delta Toronto (Lower Simcoe)

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for a wedding and although our room was a bit outdated, the views were unreal. We got to stay on a high floor and we had a corner room with views of the water and of the city. I have stayed at this hotel at least three times and the service is always right. Staff are attentive, friendly and available to assist. Of course this is Toronto so you might have to wait in line! I've seen alot of complaints on the price but quite frankly, all hotels in Toronto are averaging the same. Their price point is not any higher than average. Cannot wait to stay again, great memories were made!

First and last time staying here, usually never write reviews but this definitely deserves 1 star. Sound proofing in the rooms is horrible, we didn’t get any sleep the whole night because of foot steps and renovation noise coming from every room. No parking available and they made us park where we ended up getting a $75 ticket (even though we paid for it) When we confronted the front desk when checking out, they said since we pre paid they can’t do anything to help, pathetic, not even offering a complimentary stay or anything in a better room. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel. Management definitely needs to be reconsidered urgently.

We arrived at 6 PM and they informed us that our suite was not ready. Had to ask to speak with the manager and got a 50% discount (not a free stay), free breakfast, and Marriott points . Waited an hour to finally get into the room. The room was large and clean. Woke up in the morning and the AC unit was not working. Since this was a suite we had two large windows, the temperature approached 86f or 30c in November. We called the repair man and he told us that everything was working fine, but it was obvious there was no cold air coming out of the ac unit - you can just hold your hand over it and feel the warm air. We had to checkout early due to the heat. They are undergoing some kind of renovations

Well, The Westin wasn't exactly what I expected. They're in the middle of some renovations, so it's a 50/50 gamble whether you'll get that classic Westin vibe or something more like a roadside motel. My luck leaned toward the motel side. When I got off the elevator, you could instantly tell the difference in carpet quality between the left and right hallways. My room on the right was a bit rough around the edges, with scuffed walls, an open dresser drawer that wouldn't stay shut, furniture that had seen better days, wrinkled sheets, and a bathroom in need of some TLC. With those odds, you might want to roll the dice at a different hotel.

My first visit to this hotel and I can possibly say I absolutely love it. Not only you get a spectacular view of the open water, you don't hear traffic noise. One of the most peaceful sleeps I've ever had was by staying at this location. The Staffs are really helpful and quickly respond to your inquiries through the Marriott Bonvoy chat app. You get quick access to the TTC just across the street. Great location to catch a early morning, late evening walk along the harbour front. It's just a spectacular location to stay at. It's probably one of my new favourite's now. I just can't wait how awesome to be staying at this location once the nicer weather comes, like spring to summer time.

The Westin Harbour Castle was the highlight of a long travel day, after being relocated from my original hotel that was oversold and staying here, the staff was phenomenal with assisting me with accommodation and overall customer service was amazing. The employee went out of their way to ensure that I had a great stay, upgraded my room to ensure that I had a nice room with a king bed, away from the elevators and with a view of the lake simply to improve my experience. On top of that, the room was incredibly clean and made for a very relaxing space to be in.

When I stayed here, there was a power outage at about 8AM. And that would normally have been fine, but the hotel manager proceeded to wake up the entire building with the emergency sirens and intercom to announce the power had gone out. He then proceeded to go back on the intercom system and remind everyone that the power was indeed out every 5 minutes until the power came back on, rengaging the emergency sirens every time. To me this seems like a poor way to have handle this situation, if they had not announced it, most guests wouldn't even have noticed.

I gave this an extra star because of Oliver from front desk. Oliver was professional and offered a token of apology for my stay. Kudos to Oliver! This was my first time staying at the Westin and I had high expectations due to name. Unfortunately, the hotel cannot boast an attention to detail. The bathroom was unclean, the robe provided had multiple hairs on it, the ice bag was disgusting and the glasses were questionable. The art in the bathroom is not oriented correctly, probably to try to distract of the sad state of affairs.

Rooms weren't very clean; 4 of 5 elevators didn't work for a good portion of a day, with the amount of guests, wait time to go up or down was up to 20 minutes; two conferences were being held and main washrooms weren't regularly cleaned, when asked, front desk staff said they did it at night regardless of the amount of guests and dirtiness; overall lack of concern for guests waiting for service (luggage pickup, elevators) or care for shared spaces.

The rooms are just terrible, everything is very old and dirty ... the sink is clogged, at night the toilet was noisy like a jet plane, late at night they moved us to another room, it was quieter but everything was not very clean. Air conditioner over your head of the bed... noisy all night. The balconies are very dirty. The hotel hasn't renovated the rooms since it was built. I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, this is not a hotel, this is a motel, maximum 1 star.

Thanks so much to Westin Harbor Castle Toronto for a fabulous experience for our first time in Toronto! Marriott and its staff at the hotel surprised us with naming us Guests of the Day which was a harbinger of good things to come during our visit. In addition to falling in love with the City, the staff and accommodations at the Westin were outstanding. Everyone of the staff we came in contact with were friendly, professional, accommodating and insured our stay was 5 star. We plan to return to the Westin to enjoy more of Toronto!

The rooms were dirty, stains on the carpet, the fridge was not cleaned out when I checked in, and the sheets had visible brown stains all over. I asked the front desk if they could clean the fridge and change the sheets. After coming back to the room 5 hours later this still hadn’t been done. So when I asked again they decided to finally change dirty sheets and clean out the fridge. Employees were nice enough about it but it was a chore to get housekeeping to do anything.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to have a good location with acceptable service. However, I must say that it fell short of my expectations for a supposed 4-star establishment. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and on the very first day of our visit, we faced a problem with the bathtub being clogged. Another drawback was the consistently long wait for the elevators, despite the presence of four of them. While the hotel has potential, it needs to address these concerns to truly live up to its rating.

I've been to this conference center twice, and it's a clean, modern facility with the amenities you would expect of a conference center. Food catering is good quality, including drinks. Parking seems to be a bit limited, or maybe I couldn't find their parking garage. I ended parking across the street at the RBC Water Park place. Overall I would recommend this location for events, and it is right next to the lake.

Bad experience - they take the liberty to lock guests out of their rooms due to "lock upgrades". According to the front desk, during this time the room can only be accessed with a security guard that one needs to pick up at the front desk. Very shady behaviour from the hotel management. On top of that there is construction and noise eveywhere. Room service took 1h to arrive. Several devices in pur room don't function properly. Can't recommend - particulary at this price.

Although this is an older property, and slightly outdated, the staff make up for it. Every employee I had the pleasure of interacting with was beyond lovely and delivered outstanding customer service. Well done team Westin Harbour Castle! You guys really go all out to ensure your guests feel welcome and appreciated.

The hotel is well situated with beautiful views of the lake. The facilities are good, the staff are enthusiastic and friendly. The down side of my stay was the loud sound of the four elevators, rumbling day and night, which kept me awake and made it an unpleasant stay. I was attending a conference and being deprived of sleep I struggled to concentrate, ruined the trip to be honest. Maybe there are quieter rooms in the hotel but I should have stayed elsewhere.

The hotel is quite old. It needs to be remodeled. When we stayed there in Sep, some construction/maintenance work is going on. There are areas blocked by the yellow tape, which is very unpleasant. The bathroom is not clean. There is black stuff on the wall of the shower. The squash room smells really bad. If you have a car, valet parking is required at the property, which costs $50 a day. Overall, very disappointed. Way below the Westin standard.

They took a very long time to get the room ready I waited from 4:00pm to 7:30 pm to get my room which I had already checked into online. They gave me a food voucher but honestly all I needed to do was relax after a rough couple of days. It didn’t help that I became I’ll too. The rest of the stay went okay. But they gotta do better with the check in. The staff were pleasant, I spent the next two days just relaxing and watching the boats sail by.

As of the date I'm writing this, there are parts of the hotel under some form of renovation. It's a great locations with really kind and caring employees that go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. It's an older hotel that just needs a facelift!

Great location, able to walk to numerous shops. Had lake view room, nice to watch water traffic, which was quite busy. Very nice accommodations, most comfortable conference room chairs, OK to sit for several hours and remain comfortable. Good breakfast buffet.

On balance a three star hotel. Points for updated lobby bar with good service, waterfront location and valet app. Rooms were awkward and a terrible design for conferences. Its like walking a maze of corridors and levels with sone venues in a different building across the street. Food is mediocre and PH suites a disappointment.

Check in was very slow with about a dozen people in line but only 1 person doing the check in. The rooms were nice, clean and roomy. The elevators seemed to be always jam packed (in the north tower) and lots of traffic in that area so give yourself time. The parking also has a height limit of 6'4" I believe so my colleagues keep Rubicon just fit.

We spent two nights here and it was ok. The views were awesome as was the food. get the western omelette it's so good for breakfast. The only downside was that a few of the elevators were out of service meaning longer wait times but they compensated us with Marriott points. We'll definitely be back !!

Had a great staycation! Check in was available early. The room was super clean. Check out was extended to 1pm which was great! Room service for breakfast was excellent and came with a table! Only less than ideal thing was we were forced to valet park for $55 because the normal parking was full. Location was great for a summer night away. Also got to see the CNE air show from the room :)!

Wonderful and helpful staff very friendly cordial well disposed !!! North & South tower contrast in terms of rooms refurbishment. Overall very well maintained. Regrettably, food offered as well as coffee in the rooms and the bar need some improvement Lobby would need a major upgrade in the long run.

Staff is friendly and enthusiastic. Best greeting at a hotel I have perhaps ever experienced. Complimentary water on check in was appreciated. Raj at front desk was awesome. Getent at breakfast was great. Great personable service. Omlette chef had been with company for 46 years. Every hotel should take a page from Westin employee handbook. The stsff is on point here.

We had a great experience at the hotel and the check-in staff are brilliant. They really did make our stay comforting and not to mention the views of the lake from our room was amazing. Great location as we were able to walk along the harbour or to CN tower.

Hotel has had renovations in the past few years. They have upgraded their beds! Very comfortable sleep. However, bathrooms and plumbing are starting to show their age. Buffet breakfast is a nice spread in the restaurant. It is expensive though.

The rooms were nice. The front staff service was great. Internet was slow and tv channel choices were limited for sports fans. Really close location to the sporting venues. Service in the main lobby bar was average at best along with the food.

Stayed one night with some friends, the room was clean and the location is close to downtown. Lovely view of the lake. Very nice breakfast included. A special shout out to Bin, the director of the front office. He made us feel especially welcome and had a complimentary cheese tray sent to our room. Such a lovely gesture!

Beautiful views of both the harbour and the city depending on room. Staff is friendly and always able to get situations sorted. At the time of writing this the south tower is fully under construction which did drive up prices compared to other hotels in the area.

Rooms are dated. They are currently doing renovations on their guest rooms so only a matter of time before this is one of the best hotels in the city. Hard to beat the location and the view of Lake Ontario. Staff are friendly and helpful. More

Staff is attentive. Was here for a week conference with the Salvation Army and it was comfortable - in process of updating some areas of the hotel. Beds were comfortable. In the room having a mini fridge was nice. Also in-room coffee maker.

Great location to harbour and public transit and walkable to some nearby sites. However, the rooms are a little tired, you often hear running water from the room above and they really encourage you to not take housekeeping.
