To give context, I was in Vegas for a work convention. Got a day to myself and wanted to find a bookstore/cafe beyond the average B&N sort. Something I could get selections from specific topics in abundance. i.e. Design, Social Sciences, etc. Last bookstore I visited that unique was in April in London at Libreria (Second Home). The reviews I found talked of WB's selection of children's books haha, but did mention it was unique in other areas. WB is located in downtown Vegas which is a pretty rundown area. WB on the other hand is subtle, new and a cafe/bookstore attached to a living space called the Lucy. It's decorative interior plus selection are a breath of fresh air to most bookstores. At first glance the book areas remind you of a lot of used bookstores, but with more of an organized touch. They have a nice covered area for those wishing to enjoying the weather, rail to lock bicycles etc. Once you're inside there's a small buy cozy cafe. Very welcoming and personable staff. The actual bookstore area is well-sorted, alphabetical and based on a handful of topics i.e. Design/Architecture, Photography, Biographies, Social Sciences, etc. Each area has a small table with related trinkets, mini-journals, books and more on it. For example in the cooking section, they had a number of 10-20 page books covering recipes, care and more for small ingredients. i.e. Cucumbers, Eggs, Onions, etc. Alongside, recipe journals, pocket notebooks, and topical recipe books. Overall very pleasant, interesting place to not be overwhelmed by too many choices. But still have enough to find and expand. One area that confused me at first, but definitely was interesting is they have mini offices throughout that I can only assume are decorated based off the employee's interests. The subtlety reminds me a lot of Wes Anderson but more varied. Also liked that they carried Taschen books, as they cover a lot of design areas albeit in German-language only. Picked up mini-recipe book on care/cooking avocados, book on the history/coverage of famous Sign Painters, History of American Menu Design, and a tartan pocket notebook.

Wow. This is like stepping into Narnia. As an avid reader and book lover, I have been to lots of bookstores all over the world. This is probably the best. It’s absolutely magical and I instantly fell in love with it. The selection is excellent, remarkable for being able to offer a wide selection while also managing to include an admirably meager selection of any bad books - not an easy feat to pull off. Whoever has designed and decorated the store deserves some sort of award. Besides just the best bookstore design I have seen, this has to be some of the best anywhere. The attention to detail and lovely little things everywhere, the beautiful layout, all makes you want to wander around in here for hours. Clearly, a book lover put some serious love and magic into this place and it really shows. Can it get better? Yes, because there is also a coffee shop area at the front of the bookstore, which serves delicious espresso, and you can sit and read. It gets crowded quickly though (for good reason). They even have a bookshop rabbit!

Do you read??? Do you love books?? Then GET YE TO THE WRITER'S BLOCK, ASAP! As someone who writes (um, writes a lot), I was intimidated by the name. "Writer's Block" is a term for when the ideas just aren't coming and the blank page (screen) stares back at you, mockingly. But this Writer's Block means a "building block" or a city block. This coffeeshop / bookstore is immensely creative and photogenic. It is an "artifical bird sanctuary" (for artificial birds!) They have 20,000 or so books here. Real books made with paper. Books you want to read, have read, want the whole world to read. The photos I took don't do this place justice. Come see for yourself. I had a matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender. Delicious [Have you been to The Strand in NYC? Similar vibe. Good people.] [Do you hear "birds" and think of Portlandia "Put A Bird On It"? I'm too shy to post the link here! Let's just say The Writer's Block is everything that Portlandia store wishes it was!!]

Keep an eye on the time, because the cafe closes earlier than the bookshop! I’ve made this mistake too many times The Writer’s Block is wonderfully quirky without being overwhelming, and their book selection is fantastic. I come by every few weeks for a coffee and to get some work done, and browsing the books is a great way to take a break in between. Lots of folks from the local college stop in (professors and students alike), so it’s a pretty fun crowd, but for the most part folks are pretty respectable about noise levels indoors! We haven’t gotten to try many of their food options other than their bagels (delicious), but their coffees and teas are always reliably good and the staff is always kind as well. Parking is great - loads of free parking just down the block. (My only negative thing is that I really wish they’d put something on the front door to keep it from loudly slamming twice with a bounce every time someone uses it)

We were staying at the Golden Nugget when we discovered this Awesome little place. We needed a place to get away from the Fremont circus and do some intellectual reconnect. Our daughter looked up this quaint little book store and coffee shop. It was within walking distance so we decided to take a walk. Straight down Las Vegas Blvd and one block over at Chase bank. We went one day and then went back the next day to get a book I missed. We got a large hot latte that was great and sipped while we looked at the fabulous book titles. I found a book called Battle of the Big Top on the history of the circus. Not my usual read but it is a fun book to read by the pool and one the plane ride back to Florida. If you have kids and need a distraction for them while you browse there is an adorable bunny in the kids area.

I've been here times now and every time has been a joy. Coffee: Very and with a decent selection. I had there cappuccino, a vanilla latte and now a flat white. Which in all three times has been delicious. I also tried there raisn cookie and cranberry orange muffin and they been good. Good atmosphere too with interesting people near downtown. The Book shop: Love the look of the store and selection of book they held. The store much bigger then I thought the first time I came and happily I love coming back to see it again. Haven't found the book I want yet but I know it's there, just need to visit a few more time to go though them all. In all, it's a great place for the locals of the great Sin City for a little rest and peace of all the tourists. You local Las Vegas Kovian.

  • Jeralyn Julian

Such an awesome place! Came in with some coworkers and was in awe with the decorations! First thing you would see when you walk in is the coffeeshop and it is shaped like a bird cage! There's some tables inside and outside so you can relax, read, and enjoy your food/drink. I got myself a brownie, chocolate croissant and an iced coffee with milk and caramel syrup. Highly recommend the chocolate croissant! When you go around, you'll see a lot of variety of books! Some are unopen. There's a cute rabbit in the corner as well when you look around! It was sleeping when we were looking around. They also have some small variety items that you can buy as well. Highly recommend you visit here and purchase a book! You can also view their website and pick up

  • Christina Hildebrandt

There's a lot to like about this coffee shop and bookstore: it's quite peaceful in the circus that is Las Vegas, they have many beautiful books and knick knacks to purchase and a coffee shop that has a good selection of drinks and things to eat. I also really love their collection of Bavarian cuckoo clocks for sale, which chime the hour so charmingly! Also, as opposed to the din of music and loud raucous sound from the strip- where I spent three days going to a class in a hotel- the folks at the Writer's Block bookstore play quiet, orchestral 50s elevator music which is fluffy and calming. The only reason they did not get five stars from me is that their seating area is very uncomfortable.

  • Heather Nielsen

The bookstore and the whole vibe of the place is a 10/10, but the coffee shop is definitely under-invested. The chocolate croissant was tiny and didn't taste fresh. Coffee was in paper cups instead of mugs. For an incredibly sweet and cozy bookshop like this, I'd stay all day if the coffeehouse part was better. Maybe some comfy chairs or couches. It's primarily a bookshop, so no shade there because it is an incredibly adorable bookshop, but as a coffee shop, it is definitely lacking. I hate to say that, but there are far better places to grab a cup. It's definitely worth checking out, and it's decent tasting coffee, but they've got something special here and it could be so much better.

This is a gem in the Las Vegas downtown area. The staff is incredible, first and foremost. The selection is amazingly curated, and the personal investment in getting a book not currently on the shelves into your hands is palpable and so appreciated. Writer’s Block is an old-school, literary gold mine. The cafe is absolutely terrific. As a hangout, meeting place, or solo experience, if you attend once you will undoubtedly be a repeat customer. As a parent, I can’t rave enough about their Young Writers’ Workshop. Your child ends up writing a book. It’s unbelievable. Inspiration and appreciation of reading and writing abound here. Please give it a try.

  • Wes Inaba

The Writer's Block is a hip cozy bookstore and coffee shop with a whacky theme of a bird sanctuary throughout in the downtown Arts District of Las Vegas. It's a long circuitous hallway that winds you through all of the various sections. I loved the space. It's got a great vibe and it's obviously popular with many people weaving their way through its independent areas. The coffee area at the front serves up delicious java creations. The establishment had a rewards and points system. I ordered books and signed up. Then went around to get coffee and found out my entire drink order was free. Love this space so much.

  • D Lattish

This bookstore is now one of my favorite places anywhere. The ambience, decor, and layout were mesmerizing! Walking through there was like walking in a beautiful park and an art gallery at the same time. We were able to chat with the co-owner and he was delightful! I could literally spend hours here looking around, poring over the books and the perfect mix of gifts and non-book items they stock. They even have a pet bunny in the shop, not to mention a coffee bar and tables up front and outside. I love it and I WILL be back. Added bonus: we always love supporting gay-owned and minority-owned businesses.

  • Nicholas Avery

This place absolutely sucked as a used bookstore. When I walked in it had a coffee bar. I knew I wasn't going to find anything I liked as soon as I saw this. As I browsed their books all of their books were practically brand new and well organized. I knew for sure then that this was nothing more than a pop-culture sorry of an excuse bookstore. It didn't even have the smell of used books. It had no occult section amd most of the books were of popular variety. If you're like me and enjoy real used book stores with quality titles for a cheap price that offers everything, this ain't it.

  • Carissa Klundt

I want to give this place 10 stars because the bookstore most definitely deserves it, but unfortunately, the staff was unnecessarily rude and condescending. I wish it was just once or from a single staff member, but alas, it seems to be the “vibe” here. Seating is greatly limited as well, so be prepared to sit outside or take your drink with you. The bookstore itself though is a magical, magical place! Definitely worth checking out, perhaps just without the hopes of staying or a friendly greeting to accompany you.

  • Sun Kwok

Awesome, unique book store complete with resident sleepy bunny. They have a wide range of topics for every interest, but basically a few bookshelves for each category. For example, sci fi has a couple bookcases, not a whole aisle like larger chains might have. They have a good mix of sci fi classics, current sci fi, mixed with other less mainstream authors. It is similar for other topics and categories. Great homey feel, easy to park (50 cents for 30 min) on the street right outside, will be coming back!

  • Trevor Jimmy

The shop is so small, but full of so many knicks and knacks! They have a plethora of genres and its organised so neatly. At the entrance there is a book shop that is full of tools (possibly for restoring or fixing books, not too sure.) The ceiling is full of flocks of small birds too! When I came by, they also have a rabbit as a store pet. This is such a perfect spot for anyone looking for some local shops to check out, and to escape the crowded Fremont Street experience area. Highly recommend.

  • Jon-Paul Biondi

One of those true rare gems of a place in Las Vegas. Come to find a book, enjoy the ambiance, buy one of the quirky or weird or wonderful items they have for sale, sip and nosh on one of the excellent espresso drinks and pastries ( one quite good gluten-free option available too!! ) on offer, join a book club, and maybe chat with one of the owners because they’re amazingly cool people. I so adore this place there is not some part of brain that’s always hoping it will exist forever.

  • Colleen Jeffries

I decided to go in about a year ago and found out it had a coffee shop inside Since, discovering it had a coffee shop, I’ve been going there for tea, a few other items to buy and see the rabbit ! Staff is nice. I love sitting outside in the morning during the summer . If you go in there, see the rabbit . The rabbit actually comes close to the front and listens as you talk to him. So cute !! The Rabbit once, pressed his face against the front cage as I was talking to him. !!!

  • Michael Gonzales

From the outside looking in, this seems like a wonderful experience. But mine was everything but that. As I strolled through the piles of books, there was a rabbit inside of a cage. At first I thought to myself “oh wow, that’s really cute.” After a couple more rounds, I found myself back at the cage pondering at its depressive stature, the poor thing was in horrendous shape with a bare cage. Somebody please contact PETA, and let them know what’s going on here.

  • C.S. Engeron

Located in what is known as Las Vegas’s “Arts District,” this cool bookstore/coffee shop is the epitome of cozy. It’s virtual bird sanctuary theme is woven into every nook and corner. The shelves are well organized and there is plenty of elbow room to browse. Aside from books there are other items available such as gift items, drawing tools, candles and more. Highly recommend. (Just make sure you lock yourself car…the surrounding area is a bit sketchy.)

  • Andrew Guzik

Writer's Block is one of the best spots for coffee and culture downtown. The whole place feels curated. There is great coffee at the front of the store with friendly staff and talented baristas. There's usually a good atmosphere with an eclectic mix of people in the cafe area. The book store is also fantastic. Superbly organized with great staff recommendations. When you go, don't forget to say hi to Barron, the resident rabbit.

  • Shannon Robertson

Such a magical place to grab your coffee or tea, a warm baked goodie and get lost in your next adventure! I wasn't sure about this place when we were driving past the sketchy part of Vegas last all the lights. I parked and saw people enjoying a book and coffee on the patio and others walking out with their book bags. I walked in and was transported into a magical book wonderland! Good luck walking out with just one book!

  • J V

This was a super cute bookstore! It was decorated with a lot of cute fake birds and was just small and quiet. There is also a coffee shop inside, and the dark chocolate latte I got was very good. So was the snickerdoodle cookie! Warm and fresh tasting. My only complaint here was just a little lack of selection. And there was a really cute rabbit in a cage but he seemed awfully....sad. His cage seemed way too small.

  • Anastacia Escovar

This place makes my soul happy. The staff are friendly. There is so much to see. Writers Block is cozy and welcoming. They have a cute bunny chillin ❤️ I could come here every day, if you’re looking for a local bookstore to support, this is the one. Wonderful selection of books, great soft music in the background, and a lil cafe with a seating area indoor and outdoor. There is Parking out in front and in the back.

  • Jared Korous

It's an amazing coffee shop/bookshop. The atmosphere alone beats big-name book shops. It's much bigger than you'd expect, but very "hidden treasures" vibe you find in the back alley, basement book den of New York. The wonderful smells permeate the shop and help keep the atmosphere light. It's our 5 year anniversary treat, but this is going to be a much more frequent visit. I wonder if they are hiring .

  • Joseph Gray

Really neat spot with above average coffee. I’d put this in the top three coffee places I’ve visited in vegas. Probably number one for how unique it is with a bookstore attached to it. I’d say the only thing I wish was different is that the seating area of the coffee shop is such a different vibe than the book store. I want to feel like I’m sipping coffee in a book store rather than adjacent to one.

  • Shayne Senn

Had an amazing time friendly atmosphere. Place was amazing it was like a wonderland of books. The people were kind and quick to help with information about their book selections. Definitely would recommend again. Brookline Ma aka Boston memory lane. Next time I'm around have to try that cafe place smelled amazing walking in didn't want to leave. Your bookstore rocks. Thank you all!

  • Evelyn Connors

I love this bookstore! They just reopened at a new location, and it's adorable and has a great little cafe. Their book selection is amazing, and if they don't have what you want they'll order it. The owners are super knowledgeable and make great suggestions, and their selection of fun gifts and little knick-knacks are carefully curated and on-trend. This Writers' Block is a treasure!

  • Jodi Hibbard

This was absolutely my favorite stop in Vegas. I encourage anyone looking for a small break from the chaos to rest and refresh in this bookshop/artificial bird sanctuary that is full of tiny wonderful details and surprises. While there, why not adopt a new friend? Each little bird has a name and personal "auto'bird'ography". Books, birds, and beverages. What more do you need?

  • Matthew Chavez

I love to bike share in downtown Las Vegas and I decided to stop by the Writer's Block to take a break and grab a coffee. This is a really beautiful and newly constructed space. Everyone on staff is positively friendly and knowledgeable! The bookstore is well-stocked with new books of every kind. I really enjoyed my time here and plan to visit again in the future!

  • Jade Parks

I love this place so much! As a book lover myself I just love how the books are organized and how the place is decorated. The have I think the entire series of A short introduction. I love how the food and drinks taste they are always so good and I definitely recommend going here to get a sneak peak into books and a greater cup of coffee. Or tea if you prefer.

  • Emmeline McAllister

I went here with my boyfriend and his brother and it was really nice! The atmosphere is incredible! Though, some of the genre sections are a little cramped. People often camped in front of one shelf and no one else could get in. I didn't find any of the books I've been looking for, but my boyfriend spent a pretty penny. Definitely want to come again!

  • Patti Bebien-Aronoff

Amazing place! I was finally able to make it to The Writer’s Block and it definitely exceeded all my expectations. What a peaceful place with not just a very good book selection for all ages but also tons of interesting art and gifts! And very tasty muffins and coffee. It will become my to go place every time I am in Vegas. I highly recommend it!

  • Caroline

Beautiful book store and my matcha at the coffee shop was great! This is more of a walk in walk out book store, as there is limited seating, not much help from staff when walking around, terrible wifi, and very uncomfortable chairs. Wish they had a more comfortable seating area and fixed their wifi, as it would be a great place to work or study.

  • Chef Linda Burns

Adorable coffee shop with book store. The store is so unique. You have to look up, down, all around, so you don't miss anything. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the coffee shop closes early. It was 5pm, and we wanted a hot drink after shopping. If they were open until 6pm, I feel the coffee shop would still have patrons.

  • Danielle Pace Kreis

Hands down the most unique and fun bookstore I've been to! Love the bird theme and decor throughout, it was like a scavenger hunt! Lots of books of all genres, there's a good chance they'll have whatever you're looking for. The cafe is also very good, Chai tea and croissants are delightful! The book worm dioramas are hilarious!

  • Ashley

What a fantastic and charming little gem. My friend and I were both visiting from out of state and are so happy we were able to pop in to The Writer's Block while we were in town! It is a cute and quirky little coffee shop/book store and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

  • Camille DeRome

Cute idea, but not a good space for studying or working because the chairs are uncomfortable & there aren't any outlets by the tables. It would be nice if there were nooks throughout the book section with 1-2 comfy chairs and a side table or small table to work at. Not exactly the writer's workspace it's proposed as.

  • Jennifer Ubinas

This is such an amazing book café! The atmosphere is relaxing, and the design/decor flows well and gives it a unique feeling to browsing through books! I cannot comment on the coffee though, as I came in close to closing time and cannot drink caffeine too late. Hopefully sometime I can make an update with that!

  • Daniel Hansson (The Shark)

Amazing place to look around and see what titles they got, while enjoying a nice smoothie from the Cafe. Great prices, friendly employees and a huge selection of books, so there is something for everyone! If you are not into books, they also got cool stuff to get. Ps: the rabbit they got is super adorable

  • C Kennedy

I fell in love. I walked in, and the sexy smell of coffee greeted my senses. The decorations were creative. The aesthetic was inspiring, and there were a bunch of different book categories. I loved holding books in my hands and wandering through the many themed corner spots with facts and hidden spots to read.

  • Carlos Babcock

Absolutely one of the most enchanting bookstores I have visited in quite a long time. The space is beautiful, highlighting both of my favorite pastimes; books and pens/stationery. There is a full coffee shop as well with seating inside and out. You can shop in the store or order online and pick-up in store.

  • Terri Galura-Chiong

The only independent book store in Las Vegas, The Writer's Block is the place to get your books. Love the new location and the staff is stellar. Support local here. There's also a coffee area in the front of the store. Check the website for events that happen often, including book clubs and book signings.

  • Cozy Hag

Really cool book store & coffee shop. The staff are very helpful and kind, the overall atmosphere is 10/10. It almost felt magical the first time stepping past the café. Has a great collection of literature to choose from and is well organized. Be sure to go say hi to the cute bunny in the teen section.

  • Edwin Reese

Beautifully decorated store with an excellent selection. Found a number of books on my “to buy” list that I never see anywhere else. Probably a top-5 independent bookstore for me, and I’ve been to a lot of bookstores in a lot of different towns. If I’m ever back in Las Vegas, I will definitely return.

  • Kj O

Browsing this bookstore is like stepping into your favorite book! Trees and woodland creatures surround shelves that are filled with a beautifully curated selection of books. There is a small cafe in front of the shop as well...I recommend getting a blueberry London fog tea and a French toast bagel!

  • Jennifer Church Kilkenny

Went with my husband and immediately fell in love with the place. A wonderful selection of books with amazing ambiance. The decor is truly magical, and I can't wait to go back and soak it up. The staff are wonderful. Helpful and very well informed. You can tell they love books and know their stuff.

  • Paulyanna Nelson

Eccentric, but wonderfully curated independent bookstore nestled somewhat at the tail end of the Strip. Houses a plethora of amazing reads and the staff members are so lovely and offered great recommendations. Great place to visit if you’re looking for something to do other than gamble in Vegas!

  • Mari Hend

Been here several times, and i love the store and the employees are always helpful, but I never want to stick around. They got the most uncomfortable chairs, you dont want to stay and study w friends becuz of a lack of outlets and decent seating. Otherwise an great spot w good vibes.

  • Natasha Roberts

Very cute and unique bookstore. Has a great selection of small items that would make great gifts. I wish it had more stationary items and places to sit while browsing. I was looking for a cookbook and would have loved the opportunity to look through a few. But, overall a nice spot.

  • Mk Watson

Great cafe and bookstore! I love the bird houses. The selection of books was large and diverse. Lots of children’s books. There’s a wide selection of items to give as gifts to book lovers. I found evI wanted and more. Will definitely stop here when in Vegas!

  • Niko Mendoza (Niko)

Beautiful bookstore. You can order online and pickup from a box up front. They have a good variety in stock but you can also special order. Communications via text and email are timely and accurate. The coffee shop is awesome. Support your local bookstore!

  • Cynthia Daniels

It's a wonderful bookshop with a unique style downtown Las Vegas. The books cover an array of genres, and there is a little coffee ☕️ shop on premise. If you're looking for a place to lose yourself in the written word, visit the "The Writer's Block."

  • Ashanti McGee

One of (if not the only) independent new bookstores in Las Vegas. Beautiful stationary and unique gifts especially for the inquisitive. Whatever books you don't see can usually be ordered. Great workshops and book readings. Absolutely magical.

  • Michael Magerkurth

A must Experience, and very nice vibe place- has a Chai Latte- YUMMMMM/very well made, then shopped around to find a great recommended reading pleasure. This place is near the Old Town area of Vegas/Chapels- to get married- really recommend

  • Wendy Bunker

It is a very cute shop with unique gifts off the beaten path. I was able to pick up a novel for my return trip. I loved the selection in the sci-fi and fantasy sections, much to choose from! I did not however appreciate all the clutter on

  • Antoinette Graham

I love this bookstore! There is a large selection of books, indoor/outdoor seating, quaint little finds like a rabbit, and delicious treats to eat! Plus, it's walking distance to a few other unique downtown eats. Definitely worth a visit.

  • Sandra Estrada-Jerin

Great idea for a coffee shop! It's really cute. I love the book store! However, the food is terrible. Unfortunately!!! I really did try to like it. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu at this point, trying to give it a shot.

  • Shelbi Bailey

The CUTEST book store I have ever been to with an amazing selection of books and gifts. Hanging from the ceilings are artificial birds for adoption, cuckoo clocks and decor of all kinds and colors. You feel as though you are Alice in

  • cecelia dimino

I’ll change my rating to 5 stars once Writer’s Block becomes more eco-conscious and Earth friendly. It’s November in Vegas and they’re still blasting the AC all day like there isn’t a climate crisis. Also, they don’t offer glassware,

  • Lennard van putten

There are bookstores and bookstores and then there is the writers block. What a fantastic nice and surprising book store. Very enjoyable to browse for books or other items for sale. Do not miss this place when in the neighborhood

  • GINA Alessandrini

Adorable. If you're wanting to support a local bookstore this is your place. Only thing I would like is if they had comfortable seating placed throughout the store to sort of sit and read a while. Staff very helpful and friendly.

  • Little Relics

LOVED this gem. The cafe is super cute and the smell of books is amazing. The selection is epic and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Please support locally owned bookstores, this one is AMAZING. Our kids loved it.

  • Julie Longmore

This place is divine. A most incredibly lovely store, selling amazing books, gifts and delightful things. The coffee shop is enchanting. Coffee products excellently prepared. And love the banana bread! Truly enjoy going there!

  • Krysten Brown

It's such a cute bookstore and coffee shop. The only complaint I have is that their Romace selection was very minimal, which shocked me as it's such a popular genre of books right now. But still giving them 5 stars!

  • Nancy C

The shop in itself is cute but wow, talk about lack of seating for a bookstore / coffee shop. The outside tables were gone when we were there for some reason, and there was zero seating over where the books are….

  • Kel Dye

This little hidden gem!! Great coffee, great customer service... A cute little space.. just down the road from the famous gold and silver pawn shop. They have a great variety of genres and a fun atmosphere.

  • Miya Bradley

Cute little coffee shop and book store. I'd love to spend more time here. Unfortunately, their espresso machine was down but the people working were doing their best to service customers and fix the machine

  • Rose Olea

Cute store in downtown LV with an eclectic mix of books and sundries. Most disappointing part was their cookbook section - not a great selection especially for baking. Good thing they sell more than books.

  • Amber Simo

Very cute bookstore. Only walked around on this trip but it was quiet, well organized, and full of different genres and cute trinkets. Plus there is a cute coffee nook in the front to relax and read at.

  • Jennifer Bush Luce

Lovely bookstore! It's a cab ride from the strip, but worth every cent. Well stocked, and also has lots of interesting gift choices (that are not shot glasses). Nice little cafe too. Highly recommend.

  • PurpleFugue

I wish I could bundle this bookshop and bring it home with me. LOVE the whole atmosphere, people and selection of books, along with various stationery. Oh and they make a great coffee and chai latte!

  • linda tical

One of my fav bookstores in the world, a truly magical book wonderland with a cute little cafe in the front and so much more in the back including a little rabbit and fountain pens ️ …

  • Michael Snyder (Emphatik)

One of the most fun bookstores I have been to. Lots of new titles. Really neat layout with the greenery and street lights. I like to visit bookstores when I travel and I highly recommend this one

  • Christos Douvalis

Visiting from Greece, I had googled "bookstores in Vegas" before I left and the moment the Writer's Block came up, I knew I had to visit it. Undoubtedly, the most beautiful bookstore in Vegas!

  • John Allen

A superb selection of books, whimsical decor, and a bookstore rabbit, make this one of the coolest bookstores anywhere. Go and visit so this place will stay in business for many years to come.

  • Giovanni Salinas

Neat place. Coffee and tea is good! Nice bookstore in the back with wide selection. Needs more indoor seating and courtesy outlets for guests who want to come to use the place to write.

  • Raymond Champion II

Great downtown book shop and coffee shop. Show them some love, it's been a hard few years for local stores. They have a wide selection in a variety of genres as well as a bunny rabbit!

It's a really nice place, there are a lot of kinds of books that you can read and they have good food and beverages here. Although it can be a little noisy. I still have a good time.

I loved it! I'm not a writer but if I was I imagine I would come here to get inspired! The coffee is delicious! The staff really nice and the bookstore is perfect!!!!!! Will be back!

Awesome little place located in Downtown Las Vegas. Bird sanctuary, caged rabbit, and lots of cool books for sale. Grab a coffee or tea and relax. I'll be back real soon. Thanks!

Quiet spot for coffee, snacks and other beverages. Chill music and many books to choose from. Plenty of windows means plenty of light for reading in a quiet laid back atmosphere

It had variety of beautiful and unique decorations, I felt welcomed being surrounded by books. They have drinks like coffee, smoothies, etc. Great place in Downtown Las Vegas.

Unique book store and coffee. The sections are themed and narrow as if you were actually in the bindings of a book. Seating is available in the cafe area with more outdoors.

  • Mari Galloway

Nice little shop. Was hoping there would be some seats in with the books, but I will definitely be back. The Chai Tea was fabulous and the Bunny Rabbit was a nice touch.

Cutest little bookshop. Staff is okay but not super interested in customers. My tea was terrible and the WiFi is so slow but the ambiance is great and a great book shop

Great book store. The only place ive ever seen sell Battle Born pins. They are the dopest little things any 90s hipster could want pinned on his/her/theys denim jacket.

Gorgeous bookstore in the Arts District. I could spend hours here. They have a lot of unique books, cute coffee shop, and the design of the whole place is beautiful.

Gorgeous bookstore and cafe! Super fun experience walking through the store, the displays we're all fun to see too, especially the worms under the bookshelves!

Very quaint book store rather close to the old Las Vegas downtown strip. Good selection of books, friendly staff and a nice cafeteria in the front.

If you wanna enjoy your coffee in a very artistic place come here. It’s totally different from everything else in Vegas. A must-see for tourists.

Super super cool bookstore! All the little rooms inside are great and the winding hallways are awesome! I love it and I will be back again!
