13.12.2023. Update: My original problem was something els why I wrote my review first (see below) ,but two days ago a mechanic found their 'work' quality. So, I can state over the previous problem they quality of work is : zero. They fitted a wrong top mount into my car. How does it possible? I have attached a photo how different they are. So, the person who took out the original one saw it but fitted the wrong one into and was not bothered to say it is done, however absolutely not looking the same. And who made it saw the difference obviously. I have sent the photos to them two days ago (11.12.2023) and I called them. Looks like they are absolutely accepted this quality of work and take money for something that is wrong and I need to do it again. Obviously the case going forward... 08.2023. I decided to write review after an unwanted comment. They said I need to be happy. So, here is the way to my happiness : I went for a top mount change that was told by the mechanic when we arranged the appointment it needs to be done in an hour. I showed up and it took 56 minutes (I have a dash cam ) to make it done for the mechanic. Another couple of minutes to walk out and find someone who can take the car out. We can say it was an hour work on it. When I got the receipt I noticed top mount change 1.35 hours on the paper which is 1hour and 21minutes. The other mechanic changed one of my wiper blade (I bought one from them) on the way out from the garage which probably took two minutes. When I left I was thinking really they charged me for 30pounds for a wiper blade change? So,I called them because I wanted to understand that but the mechanic was not there just the 'assistant' who did not understand why was it charged if not taken that amount of time /however few minutes later she changed her mind regarding that/ She said the mechanic will call me back to answer why is the extra 21minutes is there. As it happened few minutes later when he said yes it took one hour but they used to charge more because sometimes it slower and other days are faster. So,to charge me with extra 21minutes which is extra 35% on the hourly rate is normal. This time when the assistant told at the back 'you need to be happy , because we could charge you for 1.5 hours instead of 1.35hours ' In this scenario you need to tell the customer before we agreed the appointment or start the work. - Doesn't matter how long it takes ( 60mins or 2hours) we will charge you 80 or 90 minutes. If you say it needs to be done one hour when I asked this change and it is done in one hour but after you charge 81 minutes or 90 minutes that is called something else. So, I felt happy after the assistant told me, to feel happy ... Of course I did. Because that is how it should work. I need to highlight they told me the owner made this receipt and put 'extra' time on it. However after that 'comment' it wasn't an important information anymore. Yes, you had 30pounds extra that day, but you lost thousands in the future. True ,the mechanic who told earlier it will be an hour offered me the extra 30pounds back but after I heard 'we could charge for 1.5 hours too so I need to be happy' and finally the mechanic agreed with that 'comment' too ... I said no thank you I understand now. It is not about the money there are principles. If I ask you to explain to me why it is there and it seems you also didn't understand earlier why the extra time added , a few minutes later don't make a comment to feel myself lucky or happy because it just 21 minutes extra on it instead of 30 minutes. This review is not a criticism of the quality of the work that they provide. But the way they think and communicate, that is a problem. Be happy!

This is the first time in my life I've paid £65 per hour to a garage. All garages in England charge £40ph. In my opinion this is an overestimation of themselves as they are not doing engine modification, only doing standard mechanic jobs ie fitting and replacing parts and standard mot, so why are they charging so much? It's a lot of money and I believe I was charged for more hours than the job should have taken too. I wouldn't recommend. **edit** since reply - we are shocked to hear that you are happy to over charge people just because you are fully booked, that isn't fair on people and it doesn't make it OK to charge £65ph and create extra work and add extra hours of diagnosis, more hours than it takes. Finding extra work to charge for when it could have been fixed in a more simple way to look after your customers. Therefore we are not happy and will contact Vosa and the standard agency to investigate this and check more cars you work on and how you charge your customers to protect our community.

I've been using their friendly and honest services for a few years now and I can not recommend this place enough. I also find it difficult to describe their personal qualities by words. I've tried lots of mechanics in Bristol area previously but I was never fully satisfied; because either they were trying to mug me off or they weren't the experts of their jobs but this place is very different to ones we know. The technicians at TIC garage is highly experts and most importantly, they are trustworthy. One thing is almost certain, if you haven't seen these guys here, you have not yet met a proper mechanic!

I’ve been down by so many garages but when i came to this guy I don’t need go anywhere else. Everyone is soo friendly like a family atmosphere specially THOMAS and HIS TEAM. They know the cars and exactly let you know that where is the problem is. I drive Audi got some major issues every other garages trying ripped me off but they saved me thousands and my came back to its original shape. Thanks for your help when I needed in most.

Very professional from start to finish. Diagnosed, dealt with warranty company, got parts and fitted all in quick time with no hassle or problems. Using for similar fault on my wife's car. Was recommended to use them by another garage and would recommend them on with no hesitation. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolute favourite garage. They proved their knowledge and trustworthiness on numerous time. You can book an appointment through their facebook page too. They always explain all the issue with the car no matter it's a minor or major problem. Their reception is warmly welcoming all the costumers.

The car mechanics proved high knowledge of my i40. I've got more advice what I though. The yearly car service had been done in few hours and the price was good too. They looks very busy, I've seen plenty of cars what were on process of repair. This garage offer professional service for sure.

Knowledgeable, welcoming and a fair price. First time I've ever been a garage and felt they weren't trying to mug me off. Tom is great - very efficient and explains everything well. Can't recommend this place enough. A true independent dealership with hard working kind staff.

A thorough and professional job on a head gasket replacement, and upheld the warranty when the crank seal started leaking a couple of months later (a quick fix). I'd recommend if you value quality work. not the cheapest, but as they say buy once, cry once!

Highly skilled guys with lot if experience but very very busy as well due to this fact. Usually 10 days to 2 weeks time to book a car. I will use their services if my vehicle is in serious trouble otherwise any local place for usual service and things..

Had 2 nails stuck in my tyre, Tamas and his team got them out and repaired the puncture quick time. I must say this is the BEST garage with most friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend that you use these very professional mechanics. 25/07/22

Thank you for a trustworthy and competent service as all ways. I was hesitant to use the lavatory being at a mechanics but was amazed to see the lavatory more cleaner than most of the main dealers that I’ve visited! Bravo!!
