Don't get me wrong- I've had good experiences at this location as well as bad experiences, however if I could stop at another Tims location on my way to work I would, unfortunately this one is the only one on my route. I've had countless encounters with argumentative staff, once the older lady (manager?) On the day shift told me that I was ordering wrong because I requested a double cup for my black tea once at the window and not through the speaker box, and she didn't say it nicely either, she was short and rude with me about it, like I had greatly inconvenienced her. I NEVER get napkins with my food without requesting it, that's just bad food service. I once received a bagel that was toasted with butter, a slice of cheddar and bacon on it, even though I had ordered a simple bagel with cream cheese, although it was an error I ended up liking the sandwich, so the next time I visited I specifically asked a member of staff how to order the mistake sandwich. I have been ordering the sandwich the exact way she told me to and about 80% of the time I don't have a problem but there have been 3 times recently where it has come to a very ugly argument between me and the staff who do not seem to understand this sandwich order and I end up with a typical breakfast sandwich with egg on it... I was told yesterday by two extremely argumentative young females that "technically" I am "ordering incorrectly" and that they know better because "WE WORK HERE!" These are exact quotes from these two girls working the window. They tried to talk over me with every word I tried to say to explain what it is that I wanted to order. They acted incredulous when I sent the sandwich back because it is not what I ordered and had egg on it. They acted as if they shouldn't have to cut the bagel in half for me either, as if that is a special request- those who order bagels should be familiar with the fact that bagels come cut in half without the customer having to request it. I called immediately after the dispute to speak with a manager who was kind enough to provide me with a gift card but he did say "what would you like me to do?" As if there's nothing to be done. The staff at this location need a lesson in simple listening skills and also basic customer service. Edit: Visited again today and was met with arguments about this same sandwich. I had to name drop the manager I spoke with last to get the sandwich I ordered. Suddenly after mentioning the managers name the argumentative nature of the employee dropped and he was somehow miraculously able to input my order correctly- but only after arguing and me having to mention the manager. Seriously what the HIZZECK is the problem with the morning shift staff at this location? I never have this problem when i visit in the afternoons. STOP ARGUING WITH CUSTOMERS

*New edit July 2023* The evening staff over the last year were great. Recently, I was made aware one of the ladys was fired. Too bad as the bus drivers and customers that went her after 10pm loved her and the crew. They again are leaving the night staff solo most nights, + the baker. They expect these folks to do 2 jobs and if you talk to any of the workers, they all dislike the managers and owners. This is not a staff issue it's a owner/management issue. Please take note of the other successful tims in stoney creek and hamilton mountain who do a great job because the are respected and respect the managers and owners. ***Edit from 2 star to 1*** ***OCT 21 update*** -now that they finally hired more night staff, I decide to go. Xl decaf. I pull up and see her pouring an xl from reg carafe I ask is it decaf she says yes I tell her I saw her, she says it half decaf because she ran out. I say I saw her pour from start to finish with reg coffee. She just looks at me. Then says she ran out doesn't have any more, I said the stores out of decaf completely? she say we'll no but you have to wait 5 mins and come it to get it not via drive through. I mean, come on what kind of disaster is this place? After they did not pay some students in the summers they had a mass exodus of Workers and now this? The owner, manager and corporate does absolutely zero to fix the issues. How is it that the one at the gas station across the street does things so well and smoothly? You need to look at your MANAGERS. Really easy fix. ___________________________________________ A few of the workers are great. More often than not recently at night it's closed now. Even if opened no food, or can't get decafe coffee after 11 if it is opened.

I never thought I would have such an awful experience at a Tim Horton. I paid for my food and forgot to scan my Tim’s card, I express my sadness for not getting the points but I got such a rude comment from the attendant. She exclaims “that is your fault sir and you should know as the program has been around for at least 2 years” I was frustrated by tone and lack of professionalism displayed her, I responded “well it doesn’t hurt to ask customers so they know for next time” She explains “ I need to take responsibility for myself” What kind of interactions is this, I would have left it alone but she went out of her way to be rude. I told her I’d like to cancel my order as she was rude. At this point someone asked why I was not taking the food and she said something despairing about me right to my face to another coworker. I said Im cancelling because of the lack of professionalism here, this is when she closed the window in my face. When she opened the window to refund me my order she was still rude Very disappointing customer service from her. This is an isolated event most of the people are nice here but her rudeness takes the cake. I have not been able to come back to Tim Hortons since then such and awful experience. When I called in to speak to the manager they took the same point as the person there so I wondered if it was the same person that took my order there’s since she was wearing another shirt from the the employees. But completely uncalled for and disgusting customer service.

Well I had probably one of the worst restaurant experience in my life at this location. I went to this location on the 17th August and had breakfast. I went on my laptop and probably spent about 20 to 30 mins while eating and then left. I came back few hours later to have lunch but I went to use my laptop since I was on a call and wanted to wait until the line is over before getting food. I was approached by Brenda literally 10 mins later told me that many customers came in and want to sit down but I'm sitting in there since morning. I told her I literally came here 10 mins ago and this morning when I was sitting I was eating breakfast. She said well I'm not having anything now and I explained I was about to get something. Anyways I was basically kicked out for sitting in their restaurant and not buying anything. I would say this, I have never visited any tim location and use they services without using my discretion of buying atleast a coffee and donut. I go to the nash and Queenston location frequently and always buy something to eat while browsing. Whats even worst is I'm a delivery driver for both doordash and skip so I goes to this location multiple times per day and they know me. Technically we work for tim horton through a third party and yet kicked out Its covid, seating are limited so not everyone should expect a seating. Its common sense. I wonder if they ask people not to use they washroom because they didn't buy anything as well . I would say this.. alot of the staffs at this location are pretty nice but Brenda ugh..

We only received two. When asked why are there only two coffees, the employee and the person beside her at the time (who claimed to be the manager) both said we only ordered two. But we explicitly told her we had the BTGO coupon, she was the one who only asked us about two coffees. The “manager” then told us that we needed to activate the coupon to use it, and we showed her proof that we activated it. The “manager” then told us it didn’t work because we only ordered two coffees, but we reminded her that we told them of the coupon and that we never asked for just two coffees. Despite all that, even though the coupon was already activated and we had already bought two coffees, she said there was nothing she could do about it unless we order another two coffee and restart the app (a solution that does not resolve anything), in a rather rude manner. While the employee gave a small apology, the other “manager” did not and shut the window on us.

Unfortunately I live around the corner from this place and it’s the most convenient spot to go…..every time I go it’s such a horrible experience and the quality of everything is atrocious. Today I went and it was me and 2 other people infront of me, there was atleast 10 employees fooling around and practicing their “special hand shakes” with eachother. Others were touching eachothers faces and goofing around not caring about anything else or any customers. Maybe your store should hire some employees who actually care to provide good service to customer because the quality of everything in your store right down to the coffee is terrible. The store was atleast 35 degrees and I ordered 2 cookies a croissant and 2 quenchers. I was in the store for over 20 mins and everyone infront of me was just as frustrated with their service. I’m tired of wasting my time and money at Tim Hortons and watching all your employees goof around and waste my time to just provide me with terrible service and food. You’ve lost yet another customer. Thanks for stealing my time and money.

I ordered a medium decaffeinated coffee and a raisin bran muffin and stood waiting for my order. Staff gave me my coffee, but reluctantly did not give me my muffin. Others who came in and ordered after me received their orders, while I still stood there waiting. Finally, the staff brought out a bag and said bran muffin... so I went to take it, and she snatched it from me saying no, it's not yours, I stated that I haven't received mine yet. She then looks at me and says, "Oh, I thought that she (referring to the other staff that has been on cash the whole time) had given you your muffin." This absolutely rude employee has seen me standing there the whole time waiting, actually..., she's the one who gave me my coffee. She didn't even ask the numerous times that she gave all the other customers their orders if I were waiting for something else. Very rude... very unprofessional. I will be telling people about this location and how they treat their customers.

It took 8 minutes to order in DT. Not because of waiting, but because the speaker is allegedly broken, so it was nearly impossible to hear the employee. I ordered 2 sandwiches, with a small modification, and it took 3 employees to understand, still clarifying the order at the window. They were simply farmer’s biscuits, but on 4 cheese bagels with cream cheese added. One with bacon, one with sausage. They were still wrong when I received them. I gave up on the rest of the order, and just got hot chocolates for everyone because the ordering process was so frustrating. Management should at least close down the DT lane experiencing this sound issue, so their employees aren’t subjected to the added stress of their already fast paced jobs. Not sure if both lanes were having the same sound issue, but they shouldn’t be operating them with it the way it is. It’s a lose lose for everyone involved.

This morning I went in to grab a coffee before work. I was standing in line and being the only one in line I waited 5 mins while being stared at by 6 ladies working and was not served. I then started to ask if anyone would be coming to serve me as I have been waiting. They continued staring while doing other things completely ignoring me. I then vocalized that I'm leaving and they are losing out on a customer because of their ignorance. As fast as i said that is how fast one of the women came to the counter to ask to take my order. I was very angry and I just left. I felt very disrespected. I come to this tim hortons all the time and the only times I ever have good respectful service is when one certain lady is working. I wish I knew her name I will find out soon and edit my review as she should be noticed for being a stand up amazing employee for tim hortons.

I had went to Tim Hortons at 8:30 at night on my way to work. I asked for a small iced coffee and the boy on the headset said that they didn’t have any and then there was a moment of silence and chattering in the background and he came back and asked me what I would like in my iced coffee. I have worked at Starbucks and Tim Hortons before I understand that when someone says that and this correct is nine times out of 10 they are shaking having iced coffee it and using the regular blend and pouring it over ice. This becomes very obvious because the regular blend is not strong enough to taste like actual coffee one for it over ice. I would encourage the workers to just say that they do not have the product instead of making a sale. Truthfully as I said I should have known better at that moment but I did not want to assume.

Terrible quality assurance the last 2 times I have been here. May 7/23 (8:45ish in the evening) ordered coffee with 3 sweetener (I am diabetic but like my coffee sweet). They used sugar. It was all sitting at bottom of cup. I had to take more insulin because of this screw up. May 10/23 (9:00ish in the morning) ordered two farmer's wraps (a bacon and a sausage) and both were missing the hash brown. This place used to be my "go to" Tim's but is quickly becoming my "never go to". Restaurants need to realize there are reasons people ask for what they ask for. Being diabetic is a terrible disease to manage and it's mistakes like this that the consumer pays dearly for!

Ordered online at 9pm on a Sunday. I got to the window and was told they were sold out of their food items. I asked for a refund and they told me I needed to go to the app. Couldn't find it on the app so I emailed head office. They told me I had to go back to the restaurant. No one wanted to take the baton on this as I was bounced around. Finally almost a month ago, I made my third personal visit to the restaurant and got a cash refund. What a horrible experience.

Was lucky enough to get freshly made donuts right now. Thing is, they said I can't have a 6 pack. "They're for the morning" Weird because the display is full. I totally argued with the guy and he didn't back down. I mean, I guess I'm still lucky that the "normal" house flies they have here haven't danced upon my donuts before I got one, AND he let me have one. I don't get it, but hey at least were not at the location thats across from Hamilton General Hospital. THAT'S the worst location in all Timmie's ever. So this one gets 2 starts. Yay!

I just came in to this branch, I wanted the “ turkey melt “ the said they don’t have it, not in their system! How weird! I have it from another branch on Barton street and other day on Golf link Rd, and they have it !! They tried to build it with other sandwich and charge me more. They were rude making fun of my request. I asked for the manager, the front shop told she was the manager, I didn’t believe her because she doesn’t even speak English well . I don’t recommend this branch .

i go in every morning. its always a wait in store even when theres no other customers, you dont even get acknowleged. four people being on drive through with again, no customers. they stand there talking and walk in customers get ignored. bad customer service. coffee is alright, ive had much better. okay so 10 hours later i come back for a tea and they tell me they "dont do honey at this location" since when?! every other location including the small drive thru's have honey. this location sucks. avoid and go up the street to the gas station!!

I had a very quick, very bad fall on the wet grass behind this Tim Hortons. It took nearly fifteen minutes to crawl to the window and bang on it for help at 4:45am on June 26th, 2021. One worker asked another to call 911 while this worker kept coming out in the rain to help me. He retrieved my purse from my vehicle with my phone in it. He stayed with me until the ambulance came, in the pouring rain. This young man was a god sent. Thank you so much for your help! I broke my ankle in three places and needed surgery. I will never forget you. :)

Went and got 2 bagels, 6 muffins and a drink. 18.83. Get all the way home. Open my bagel and there's hardly any cream cheese on it. Go all the way back and get told therr will be a charge for the remake. Told them I wasn't paying for a REMAKE. She handed me the new bagel and closed the window. No apology , didn't wit for me to check it nothing. And the remake also didn't have much on it. Ridiculous. The standards of this store have gone downhill fast over the last 6 months!

THIS IS THE WORST TIM HORTONS AROUND. I ORDERED A SMALL BLACK COFFEE AND WANTED A TABLESPOON OF MILK IN IT AND TGEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $5.99. I ASKED WHY SO MUCH TO THE CASHIER AND HE SAID THE OWNER WANTS TO CHARGE IT AS A LATTE, I SAID BUT ITS NOT, AND I DECIDED TO LEAVE AND NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. THEY ARE COMPETING WITH STARBUCKS AND CHARGING MORE OF MONEY JUST BECAUSE. COFFEE IS ALWAYS STALE AND BURNT. DISGUSTING COFFEE HERE.

Very busy Tim Horton's with an experienced staff that seems to be able to handle the rushes very well. Lots of senior staff. They remember you and continue the same conversation you've been having with them all week. Decent wait times in store and at the drive thru. Plenty of other things to do in the area. Food is good, donuts are almost always available, well stocked with Tim bits and the coffee is consistent. I go here often. Decent crowd in the evening, few nice cars that hang out there.

Really bad experiences with this branch on every single occasion I visited here (5-6 times). Food is stale, tasteless and a few hours old. Staff is, to be blunt, useless. Service is non-existent. I've contacted their customer care line and was simply told I should phone some feedback centre and lodge a complaint there. Overall feedback of Tim Hortons in general as of late: they should seriously consider closing down - quality, integrity and price is not what it should be any longer

I use the drive thru here every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. Always between 8:45 and 9:00am. It is busy, but there are 2 lanes and the lineup moves quickly. Always a man on cash, and a sweet lady passing out my steeped tea and sausage biscuit. The lady is always friendly and recognizes my order. I always try to pay by electronic Tim Card on my smartphone, but this service breaks down often. I have to carry back up cash. Overall, great speedy service.

I wish this location would learn how to use the head phones correctly when in the drive thru. i should not have to wait while 2 cars get served on one side, when i was sitting there waiting for my order to be taken before these cars showed up. This happens all the time here, as well as they dont know where the half cream button is. Not 1 dime will be spent in this location again.

Used to always go to this location use to love it, there quality of work has since got down drastically. I’ve complained 2 times with either bagels being too burnt when I’ve asked for lightly toasted. Gave it another shot yesterday and yet they screw up on a coffee. Asked for a double double but got a regular. Again quality of work is lack of at this location. Best be going to the gas station Tim’s they provide better service and better standards.

Total confusion here. Avoid. So many employees just running around or staring at a screen with a blank look on their faces. One manager not assisting in any way and just focusing on take out orders. I had ordered 3 large coffees inside the store and there was a lineup. They just totally missed my simple order and I saw multiple people come and go. So I went through the line again and reordered. The cashier seemed confused and extremely rushed.

One of the featured new products was not on the shelf. "Wasn't ready yet" in the early afternoon... We didn't get a dinner roll with our take-out soup order. The hash brown that comes in the breakfast combo was cold and stale. Staff resembled brainless zombies shuffling around and messing things up. Didn't seem to care at all about their job responsibilities. Sadly a more and more recurring theme with various Tim's locations.

Ive never had an issues with any Tim Horton locations but the drive thru employees were not friendly and got our order wrong twice. It was a guy attending us. Very sloppy and sleepish. I understand you may not care about your job but at least hide it. They need to get some other guy behind the night shifts for drive thrus or else be wary of their service and attitude.

Very efficient. Food came out quickly and the majority of the people are very very friendly especially this one lady with a Scottish accent. Some difficulties with a staff member work braids. Made my friend from the States feel very awful about returning to pick up a hash brown she ordered. Argued it was never ordered until she was proven wrong. She didn't even apologise. We tried to chalk to it to a bad morning.

Service of late is absolutely horrible, drive thru is inconsistent with ordering in flow of cars, when you get to the window the order that you just gave is incorrect. When ordering a roast beef breakfast sandwich it's a 50/50 chance it's either roast beef or bacon. Pretty sure last time I checked these are two different meats and not even close to sounding the same or spelt the same. C'mon TH get it together.

My partner ordered timmies for us and the bacon breakfast sandwich I had on an English muffin was disgusting!!! My bread was all torn apart and everything was slop! His sandwich was totally wrong he got his on a biscuit which he didn't request and the food was cold. On top of all that the driver took forever getting here approx.45 min and I only live 5 min away!! And why don't they ever give out napkins?

I went to the bathroom here and there was no toilet paper, but i was very happy that they had pumpkin spice dounts, they were special edition ones that had icing and pecans on top was really yummy but the og pumpkin spice are my fave with the glaze! I havent seen them yet this year

The manager doesn't make eye contact and can't crack a smile. quick, emotionless responses, lacking warmth. staff will be standing near the cash and have backs turned, taking thirty seconds to a minute to acknowledge customers. they need to be quicker on their toes for such a central location. with my disability I can't stand for long and it hurts. wish I could mystery shop this place.

This location is wonderful! Hard working and upbeat staff. I’m impressed by the quickness going through an extremely busy drive thru. I truly hope that everyone going through this store is kind to the employees because we all know these times have been trying for everyone. Shout out to Uchenna, Carson, David, Isaiah, and James for always getting me my daily coffee with a smile!

Supposedly this Tim's has the best donut showcase (according to a store sign). I'm not sure it affect the taste if the donuts, but nonetheless. This location can get busy, otherwise its in a great spot to zip in for a coffee while waiting for the bus, or a break while you navigate the maze of big-box stores that surround it.

A typical Tim Hortons located in the Stoney Creek area. Our experience was positive during our visit here. They also have a outdoor seating arrangement. Inside is pretty clean and well organized. The staffs were nice and friendly. We had potatoe wedges, Cafe mocha, pepper mint tea and crispy chicken sandwich, which were okay. I would definitely recommend this place.

I come to this location from time to time, but today one of the staff named Jaelynn was so kind. Its tough working through a pandemic so I understand why some staff members may not be enthusiastic when going to their job, but she was so nice and enthusiastic that it really stood out to me in a positive way. Definitely put a smile on my face. Thank you Jaelynn!

Tim Hortons need to start putting as much priority on walk in customers as they do for drive thru customers. There are 5 or 6 employees working the drive thru customers, while walk ins usually only have 1 employee. AND that employee has to take orders, make the coffee, get the donuts, etc.... the wait time for walk in cusotmers is not acceptable.

Went through drive through and as usual they forgot to put napkins spoons and the potatoe wedges we're over cook ...I asked before driving off if I have everything in the bag he said yes everything is there ...well it wasn't!! Even though they didnt have the donuts I wanted for my uber eats order they tried calling 2x and had my driver try to call and then sent a sweet note to let me know how much effort they put in to ensure I was happy. I didnt really love the donut options but it was sweet the staff included the note and called. Props to the staff tn!

If I could put zero stars I would. Horribly rude customer service. I wanted to pay for an ice water and I was denied service for no reason. They were incredibly rude and while I was having a horrible day at work they made it worse as I got home. I will never come here again.

This Tim's sees a lot of drive-through volume, but the inside is often underutilized. Nice for those of us that like to go in and sit down. I attribute this to the function of the area; people come for the box stores and swing by the Tim's for a quick coffee. Service and quality are what you'd expect of a Tim Horton's.

After they made a mistake with my order, I had to go back to the Tim Hortons and asked them to correct it. The girl working pretty much interrogated me asking what time I ordered, etc, etc. She made me feel like a criminal, like I was doing something wrong. Very unprofessional, don't go to this location!

This location can be super busy at rush times and therefore feeling slow to complete orders. Not sure what would help to fix it...but I just avoid it during rush times. SB isn't far... and rarely busy :)

Pre-ordered a large order of donuts...showed up on time and was rudely told by the manager that they didn't bother filling our order because they didn't think we would show up. Then why take pre-orders Tim Hortons. Classic Tim Hortons service these days. Next stop Starbucks for a decent cup of coffee.

There is seating here, but I have never been here when it is super busy. Great place to wait for the bus or something after a movie, or grab a snack. Out of the way of the road, so you really have to pull off the main road to get drove through, but the service is pretty fast and good like most Tim's.

This location is fast but a few times they forgot items purchased at the drive through. They also need to butter their bagels a bit more liberally. Had a bagel yesterday and it was super dry and barely toasted. Do I expect perfection or fancy at Tim Hortons? No, just minor suggestions.

For the last while, the store has not been very clean...tables and floors and washrooms. It seems the very young staff not fully committed to keeping it hygienic and no one supervising them. Unfortunately, I have noticed not many customers are sitting in the store anymore.

Best Tim Hortons in the city - I often drive out of my way just to come to this location. Staff is always incredibly friendly and super fast - coffee is ready before you even get to the window every single time. Other franchise owners could learn from this one!!!

I went through the drive thru this morning at 10 a.m. When I got home to eat I found half of an eggshell in my sandwich. Almost unbelievable that nobody saw this at any point of making a sandwich. Quality control must not be a big concern at this location!!

This Tims is a complete mess every time. Orders wrong constantly, and the coffee is burned 8/10 times. I often end up just chucking it and going to the McDonalds across the street. I like Tim's better when it's done right, but it's never done right here.
