Where to start. I made a booking for 6/10/22 @ 1300 about a month prior to the move date. Day of the move I call @ 1000, as I haven't received any confirmation of my move that day. Confirm the time as 1300, and was told it'd be between 1300-1400. First warning bell. 1415 and still waiting. Call again. There was some issue with the truck, it'll be another 30 mins. Second warning bell. 1500...wanna guess where this is going? Still no movers. Frustrated is not descriptive enough. Multiple calls (20 at minimum, and perhaps overkill) no answer. Almost 1550 before someone FINALLY answers the phone. Saying I lost it was an understatement. Long convoluted story about truck issues. Stuck on the Yellowhead. Be that as it may, should I be having to chase for an update? Am I at fault for the company's failure to provide service as booked? 1605 and movers arrive, from AAA Rightway Moving. I'm confused....was it contracted out to a different company? All that aside they are quick, not sure if that's always or due to the delay situation. Move is completed in about 3hrs 45 mins for a two bedroom apartment. Did I mention AAA didn't know my apartment was a third floor walk up? Time Movers knew when I made the appointment. No complaints with AAA, though now knowing both business share the same address doesn't sit well. Now it's time to settle the bill. Quoted @ 159/h with 2 movers from Time Movers. No mention of further charges. Except for the undisclosed charge for travel time to and from my move. Surely someone in Management followed up right? Apologized for the ridiculous delay, the complete lack of updates, not being able to contact anyone during business hours, if nothing else meaningless platitudes or a nominal restitution? Nothing to no surprise. Never again. I can plead ignorance when booking with Time Movers. If you've read this far, nobody to blame if you make the same mistake I did. Seeing 5 star reviews is beyond comprehension. 1/14/23 update: Received response....7. MONTHS. LATER. Much like the service provided, it was too little and too late.

We moved April 1st, 2022. They started off being 1hr & 15 min late. My husband had to phone to find out where they were but no response. Finally after 2 tries they finally called back saying they were on their way. They didn't move fast. They were continously told that the elevators at the new place was reserved from 12-2. They kept patronizing saying yes not to worry. They finally arrived close to 1pm losing an hour of the elevator time. Only one elevator. You'd think they'd start hustling but no, they didn't double up to use the 2 wheelers or carrying more stuff that was not heavy. We were wanting to grab stuff to speed them up but told no. They weren't efficient in starting to unload the truck so they could move items in the hallway to get a flow to load the elevator. By 2pm the elevators were unlocked and relocked at 2:30 for another person to move in. They weren't anywhere near finished! Luckily, the other movers forfeited the elevator and used the stairs. Eventually the building manager showed up after observing and told the guys that there is no way that it should take more than 1 1/2 hours tops. We were not moving from a house to condo but rather a condo to another condo. Standard stuff. We even got rid of some large furniture pieces. The manager was not impressed. Nearing 4:30 they finally offloaded our antique 200 year old dining table and broke the foot off the pedestal. Not impressed, not even an apology or say contact office to see where to get it fixed. So 9:45 to 4:30 - wow. We are senior's and thought for sure this was the best thing to do. My husband has spent countless attempts to speak to the manager at Time Movers only to be told that he's not in and will have him call us the next day, you can guess where I'm going with this. It's now a full week and still have not heard from this manager. He's totally dodging us. This is poor management. I guess the people that recommended them had different guys. So in conclusion I'm not recommending them and giving them a poor rating.

After buying our dream acreage I did some shopping around for movers. I was impressed with Akash and the team here because not only did he look at other quotes I had received, he made recommendations on choosing the 3 man crew instead to get the job done on time. He was very informative on the process and pointed out many things to me I hadn’t seen on other quote. On moving day, the crew arrived on time when requested, “tetris’d” the trailer to good capacity, and after loading drove straight from the old house to the new, and busted their butts unloading. They stayed within the timeframe stated and got everything there safely and in one piece. Would recommend to friends! Don’t try to move yourself, save the hassle and let the pros do it for you!
