My experience showed the value of having a good broker to deal with the insurer for you. I had an incident where our boat had damaged another, but it would not be known for several weeks whether the repair cost would be more than our excess. I called Tudor, was answered by a real person (not "dial 1 for...") who, when I explained the problem, correctly diagnosed that I needed to speak with the Claims Manager (CM). CM called me back that same day, explained the preferred course of action as well as a backup process if the other party didn't want to play that way. CM followed up with a clear email confirming this advice, attaching a claim form and a list of the steps and documents I needed if a claim did eventuate. Some weeks later, when the repair estimate did justify claiming, I found it very easy to follow these steps and return the documents by email to CM. There followed a request to pay the excess, and I had nothing else to do: the claim was paid out to the other party within a fortnight. As this occurred at a time when the insurer was overloaded with major claims arising out of the floods up north, I dread to think of the aggravation and time I would have spent trying to deal with the insurer directly if we had not insured through Tudor.

When a previous business I worked for need a difficult policy placed, Tudor Insurance were able to make this simple and turnaround a solution in less than 48 hours where the previous broker had taken several weeks to try and find a suitable soultion. Now, they manage my home, farm, and landlords insurance. I value their extensive knowledge and experience and consider them a trusted advisor. Cameron has been especially helpful when it comes to ensuring adequate placement, particularly with a tricky policy that needed an underwriter's involvement. We've been with Tudor for years now, probably decades. And in that time we've never had anything other than professional and courteous service. You find out how good a broker is when you actually have to make a claim, and on the two or three times we've been in that unfortunate position (one of them as the result of a life-threatening incident half way across Bass Strait) Tudor has been both responsive and pro-active in achieving a good result, and full of great advice. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a broker.

Can’t speak highly enough about Tudor I have had two separate claims and they backed me 100per cent both times.
