Staff are all friendly and generally always greet and acknowledge you but the attention to patient requests and needs isn't very good. Have asked for water, blankets etc that never arrive and even used the emergency call button only to be seen to 30mins later because of calling out for someone. Facilities are a bit dated and is extremely noisy, especially ICU wards.

UCT private hospital in in itself was great. Clean, friendly helpful staff. The only issue is parking - we ended up parking in the main Groote Skuur hospital parkade and entering through the main out patients entrance and making our way through the hospital to the private wing - this was time consuming so add extra travel time if you need to get there.

Fantastic medical care and doctors and professor who treated me. Food and menu must be improved and catering staff requires quality patient care training.
