First of all i just wanted to say how bad this place and I completely agree with Donnie Scott, half of the things the person said was correct about this place. First off all when you come into the building you do feel welcomed for a short few weeks, at first they don't even know to show you around the campus as the people that work there are ex students that use to attend insearch. Insearch makes you feel secluded from other UTS members such as having a very differentiated INSEARCH card from the actual UTS students. You are also not allowed some privileges that UTS students get. That is only part 1 of many problems. As you attend classes everything that you attempt such as lectures, homework and exams before CENSUS date is very easy drawing you into thinking that you can easily pass the unit however this is not the case simply because Insearch is just there for the money, a staggering $3700 per unit is unbelievable and surely you can attend somewhere else for half of that per unit, now I can see why that the whole year to study there is $33000. The building is one main building with only access to 5-6 levels throughout the building also letting you know that insearch is flooded with international students that barely know how to speak basic English what also annoys me by this is that in class its very hard to communicate when in groups and teachers also differentiate domestic and international students. I myself experienced an international student barely speaking a sentence of English getting a High Distinction in his assignment that you can see he put no effort into where as I spent two weeks on the speech to get a pass mark. The Science faculty at insearch is completely disgusting with teachers not caring & differentiating people from religion & ethnicity, Rosie & Vanessa are the two teachers to watch out for. The faculty does not tell you that you must be attending 80% of tutorials in fact they don’t tell you anything unless you ask which is absurd. Additionally the teachers here do not understand your problems and are not even close to lenient as well as the student centers and counsellors giving the wrong information to several students and myself. I also just want to say if you want to at UTS:Insearch please choose some where else I beg of you and save yourself the $33000 that you waste here.

As a matter of facts that most of the high review are come from students who only study at UTS Insearch so they don't have the préférence of bad school and good school, and beside due to being a student at a school make them quite bias toward the school. Also some non - local teacher make me have a hard time listening to them ( they have Doctorare degree but they are very not good at teaching), the booklet that you got are problably taken its content from somewhere old, it's been recycled and keep changing to a very confusing point. the facilités of the school are not too bad but the room is very cramped, along with their own UTS insearch websites, if you are going for programmer of web Designer, take a look at their websites and you will definitely want to study elsewhere. The most important thing is most school's experiences are created by both school and students, but here, the majorité is CHINESE not being racist here but because of that, they only play with their own group ( most of them, not all) and speak chinese everywhere, and somewhere around 40% if your you work in a group of 2 or more chinese for group project, you have a good chance of working alone. And the most horrific thing is that UTS College have a lot of " system error" which lead to many situation such as wrong timetable and delay for one semester, important mail, coe are not sent accordingly, and especially despite all of these "system error" none of those error are reported to the main building UTS, each problem you ask the studentcentre could take up to more than 3 weeks so to be solved.

This place might be good for international students but definitely not for domestic. You will be studying in a dodgy building in Chinatown with Chinese students who can barely understand English. Yes I mean I’m asian Australian but I still want to learn, make friends and have proper discussions with my classmates. Seeing over 95% of my Chinese classmates, I did wonder if I were studying in China. The classrooms are horrible have no windows and you don’t see daylight. For the really expensive school fees, I just don’t see a point why I want to study here and not Tafe next door. This place also sells you the UTS experience but NO you don’t get the any of that. It’s super misleading that they have the UTS name but you DON’t have any of your class, not even one at the University UTS. Studying here makes you feel like a second-class citizen and I learn nothing apart from speaking mandarin. My advice: stay away from this place if you genuinely want to pursue education.

Most UTS College/ Insearch students are International Students from Chinese and Indian backgrounds. They are experts/ gurus in plagiarising. These guys have absolutely no respect for “academic integrity” and can’t even reference a single source properly - even if you repeatedly show them how to. You can forget about information literacy, critical thinking and western academic tradition - these guys have absolutely no idea what these things are - and even if they do, they show no respect towards these norms. Most Insearch students I encounter on a daily basis can’t even construct a single English sentence properly, let alone a paragraph or an essay. The teachers/ tutors/ subject coordinators are equally hopeless - there is a reason why they are “Insearch tutors” and not good enough to teach in academia. UTS should cut all ties with Insearch if she cares about academic reputation. Not good enough, not worth it.

I am a domestic student and finished my design course last year, I found the teachers to be highly encouraging while always being on hand to be able to help with any problems I had with any of the assignments or class work. Through out my course I found the facilities to be of high standards. Being a domestic student I found that it easy to make friends from all nationalities and was able to learn from many cultures, picking up parts of languages outside of my studies. Overall I found UTS Insearch to be well worth the money, and the transfer across to UTS has worked smoothly, I now feel more capable to complete my course than when I came straight out of high school

I should've applied for any courses in UTS then wait for transfer to my preferred course. The courses outlines, semesters are among the worst I have experienced. I made a wrong choice for not staying in MQ or applying for UTS Bachelor Degrees. Very disappointed and not worth the money. I am not going to waste my ATAR on this place. Full of Chinese students who cannot speak fluent US or UK English. This is Australia! Please fix your course outlines and your teaching staff.

I completed my diploma in Information Technology here. The teachers were amazing and I was able to use all the facilities from UTS which made my transition to university life really really easy. I also enjoyed all my time in Insearch because of the fact that there were so many extra curricular activities focused towards students and I was involved in almost all of them. It really helped me meet new people and make new friends.

Good teachers but full of spoiled lazy Chinese students who barely speaks any English. These kids are here almost purely of the fact that their parents could afford the fees. 90% of the time these idiots would spend time on their phone and make the whole class very disengaging. Insearch teachers are cool and deserved better students than these disrespectful morons.

I am a current diploma student at UTS college. Let me get this straight. The course itself is perfect. Some lecturers show dedication but some do not. The college took no action on my technical errors that happened on my final exam day. As a result, I failed one subject. Seem like they do not even care about students …

UTS has a robot is it’s library. 5/5 experience for true mechatronic immersion.
