Don’t come here for skin services! I wish I could give zero stars. I scheduled the Dermalogica Customized Facial because it was described as targeting the specific needs of the client. I had only one need - clogged pores and blackheads. I had called two weeks in advance and I spoke with the beautician Ashley. I explained that my pores are quite tight and she won’t be able to extract much with manual extraction. At the same time I told her that I have metal braces on my teeth and I asked if this would be an issue in getting a deep facial cleaning because I know that they use some ultrasonic brushes and tools. She said that she can do the cleaning so I scheduled the appointment some time later. First I had to wait 15 min until she was done with her previous client and was ready for me. My appointment was at 4:00pm but the treatment didn’t start until 4:15. Then I didn’t get any service targeting the only concern I had - the clogged pores. She didn’t know if it is safe to use the ultrasonic brush on someone with orthodontic braces. She tried using it but I could feel the buzzing in my ears so she stopped for safety reasons. She didn't make absolutely any effort to unclog my pores and clean the dirt. She did her own thing - some exfoliation and a face massage. At the end of the treatment she gave me the mirror and I confronted her about not addressing my skin concern and why I am still having all of those blackheads and clogged pores that I came with. She didn’t have any reasonable explanation. She only said that she felt that I didn’t need any blackhead extraction, that I just have to use a lot of niacinamide which will help unclogging the pores and that the exfoliation she just did will help the pores unclog on their own. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I didn't schedule the appointment to tell me that I have to wait for the pores to unclog on their own!!! I’ve had facials all my life and I know what my skin looks like after a facial. I addressed the issue at the register and the store manager told me that she can give me 20% discount but I still have to pay the rest because Ashley spent one hour working on my skin. Seriously?! This is some kind of a scam to rip off people because you can’t advertise on your website services that people can book but after that the beautician does her own thing and people still have to pay even though they didn’t receive the service they paid for. NEVER AGAIN GOING BACK THERE! I’d rather pay double in a real medical spa then go back to Ulta.

I had a horrible experience this past Saturday while having my daughter's hair blown out for homecoming. I tried to make an appt on the website to select a stylist and time. After multiple attempts to create an account and book appointment, I was unable to select the time shown available. The manager indicated it was due to the fact that stylists were not available during that time even though it let me select. After 30 minutes of trying to book online, contacted the store indicating I wanted a blow out and soft waves. The stylist did not quote a price but the website shows 27 for blowout up to 37 for style so that was my understanding and this was my second visit and the price aligned with what I paid. After booking the appointment, I received 2 phone calls while at my daughter's cross country meet from the stylist asking to switch appointments. I agree to move it up then I got a call back asking to move it back. Flash forward, it's now time to pay the bill and I'm presented with a receipt for 57.00, a blow out for 47 and 10.00 for style. I questioned the pricing on the list at the register and the manager indicated my stylist charges more. After mentioning that I was assigned a stylist when I called to make the appointment and this was not communicated during the booking she went back to the stylist to adjust the price by 10.00. What angered me most is the manager said the stylist communicated this to me during the booking which is a lie. At no time during the booking did the stylist indicate her charges, she only contacted me to switch my appointment. I will not go back to Ulta again for hair styling. I plan to contact the store again today to let them know about the experience.

Before I start explaining my 2 star review, it is the mix of 5 star experience of hair cut and style done by Quanna at the Roosevelt collection outlet and 0 star review from their misleading website and customer service. I strongly recommend Quanna who is a master stylist and gave a lot of love to my hair. While she was cutting my hair precisely I had decided to tip her $10. Flashback - I booked my appointment a night before where I clearly told about my $30 first time customer. My appointment was booked around 7:15 pm on 01/12/2018 and I was told I will have to produce the coupon while paying. During the last week I had tried creating an online profile and take appointment but there was error all 3 times I tried. On the website Quanna cut and style was for $47. Post-cut experience - At the counter I was given a bill of $57 and I showed my coupon. My hairdresser neither had any idea about such discount going on nor her charge to be $47 on the website. She said she can give 20% off and asked me to proceed to payment counter for payment. I took the discounted bill and went to payments. On explaining the scene to cashier, she asked for a moment and went to talk to someone. She unaffectedly said 'WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING AT THE MOMENT'. I paid the amount and walked away. I was so angry at Ulta management that I did not pay any tip for Quanna. She deserves an additional tip over the $46 that I had to pay. All in all, I highly recommend Quanna for her great skill and love she has for her work. Sincere and professional hair dresser.

So first I want to say I LOATHE coming into this store. I feel like I’m hawked while shopping and treated liked a thief even though I spend thousands of dollars a year here and have never stolen a day in my life. I know this store has a problem with people stealing, but if every associate attended to customers how Eren serviced me, you will see an increase in sales and decrease in theft. Eren took their time with me to truly understand my needs and help me with care and passion. I told Eren I was looking for two items, and left with 7 items totaling over $400. I personally think Eren should train the rest of the staff on customer service because I will literally come back to this store just to get makeup advice from Eren. Before meeting Eren, the ONLY (literally only) reason I came to this store was because of the amazing facials and skin advice Helen provides and Isabel’s talents with eyebrows are unmatched. I really hope this store focuses on how they treat their customers instead of immediately assuming everyone is stealing. Eren is the only associate who has made me feel like a valued customer besides my treatments with Helen and Isabel. I was so excited about the service I even let the managers know. This store location should have a new motto #ServiceLikeEren. Stop treating everyone like thieves. It’s a disgusting practice.

Went today to get some gifts for my mother. I was getting the Peach&Lily cream and found 1 so I tried looking for another but couldn’t find any. An employee passed by and I asked her very nicely if they maybe had more and she flat out said no, not even looking at me and kept walking away. I understand it was an item on sale but it would’ve been nice if she at least checked because she didn’t even do that so I wonder how she instantly knew they were out of stock? On top of that when I was checking out, the same employee Jessica ended up being my cashier and it was very aggravating she seemed to have a bad attitude and made a face when I walked up to her and greeted her first. She didn’t even offer a bag for my items. Terrible experience. Not sure if it was because I was a male customer but you can tell when someone is treating you different. Terribly dissatisfied with her service today.

MAKE SURE TO REPEAT 100 TIMES THAT YOU DONT WANT YOUR BROWS COMPLETELY HACKED OFF. I haven’t had my brows done in years, I usually don’t let anybody touch them but myself. And when I was in the area I had been thinking I wanted to change up my brow shape and give myself a natural arch since my brows are full, but have a natural straight shape. I explained to Scott my horrible eyebrow experiences and told him I just wanted a clean up with a natural arch and of course, he made my brow journey start all over. I was so upset when I realized he gave my eyebrows two different shapes and one is actually thinner than the other. I explained to him over and over about why I was disappointed and he didn’t seem to care. I almost walked out without paying. Please, if you want to keep your beautiful bold, full brows be hesistant on who does them at this location.

I made a reservation for makeup service and some how it got messed up. I didn’t get upset or freak out cause technology isn’t perfect nonetheless Julina came through and saved my night. She asked other artist to fit me in if they could and offered to do it as well if her client didn’t show. Well her Client didn’t show and she did honor her offer. So Julina starts doing my makeup at about 5:30 mind you they close at 6:00pm. I left out at 6:30 because Julina didn’t want to half step the process. My experience with her was beyond my expectations. Her conversation was great and she was still in a great upbeat mood despite being there all day. I would recommend her to any one. Thanks to her boss Alyssa as well as Andrea for being patient and helping her.

My appointment was for 5:30 at the salon, when I arrived the receptionist told me I was scheduled for 8:15. Even though I had received a phone call from them confirming my appointment for 5:30 that same day. When Heavenly arrived, the hair stylist, she mumbled something about the computer, blaming it for the scheduling issue, even though I had received a phone call at around 3:00 that day confirming it. She kind of just brushed me off and told me to either come back or wait as she had someone else waiting for her. Needless to say I was not about to do either so I got up and left. I do not plan on ever going back to this Ulta and would recommend others do the same as I am not the only one they have done this to. Very incompetent employees.

I had my hair done at Ulta and I have a few things to say. Firstly, great job to my stylist Crystal H who did my partial highlights and haircut. Secondly, my experience would've been way better had I not froze to death in the salon. There is absolutely no heat in the back where I was getting my hair washed and multiple products applied. I'm taking away 2 stars for this because it was awful in this November cold, I can only imagine how much worse it will be in December and January. This is unacceptable for Ulta as a huge conglomerate and can do do so much better for the clients and the workers! if you must go to the Delano Ct location I recommend Crystal bc she was so lovely and checked on me every step of the way.

Very rude lady up front whoever was working today around 5.I was waiting for a store pick up no one attended to me as store pick up is supposed to be easy so went and stood behind the customer who was checking out and ready to leave as no one was in line. But somebody showed up after me she goes the line is over there to me with a rude attitude (she seemed very anti people of color) I was like no one was there when I stood here and she knew and saw that as well. She had a very rude attitude and tone of voice.and then she pointed rudely again and then started talking all fake when she gave me my pick up.this isn’t the first time the same lady was rude to me last time as well but I let it go.

My wife booked appointment yesterday with Master for Express Root touch up, but the service was handled by untrained employee. Employee had long nails which made hair wash damage and pain in scalp more over her top got fully wet from back and she was shivering so they had to dry the top first which was moist and did not dry, moreover employee did not even knew how to wrap towel over the head and had no idea which comb to use so she used comb which cause tremendous pain ended up with headache. The service was not done correctly some spots were left which spoiled day mood and money. Definitely would not recommend this place for any service.

The store is in a great location and has a wide variety of products. Unfortunately, the service here is very inconsistent, I've had some good experiences and others not so good. The worst thing though is that they always run out of free products if you buy certain products. It has happened to me multiple times over the past few years where I would show up on the first day of the offer only to be told they have run out (can't think of ppl rushing to the store on a Monday to pick up free products). The store on state street was much better, so sad it closed!!

After having a confirmed appointment (via a confirmation email) for days, on the morning of the appointment they left a voice-mail about not having confirmed my appointment. I called them back, and I've been transferred three times, meaning that I have explained four times that I'm calling to confirm my appointment. When I show up in the afternoon they turned me away as they were fully booked, and I was marked as a no - show. This, despite the fact that I was punctual, and confirmed my appointment four times. Naturally, I will not be returning.

This is my go-to Ulta, but the 3 times that I've visited this past month, it was very difficult for me to find help. I don't know if its because I'm a guy, but every single time I shopped here, I always find the sales associates voluntarily approaching the female customers that entered the store after me before offering me any assistance at all . Just something strange that I noticed. This Ulta has a small offering of The Ordinary products. Visit the Ulta on Wellington and Clark for a more complete offering of The Ordinary products.

Had a facial done by Ashley Ocampo at the Delano Court. Ashley is very professional and knowledgeable. She really knows about skin care and the right products to use for your skin type. I was impressed!! I had been looking for a great esthetician and I found one in Ashley!! My one and only complain is the accommodations. The facial was done in a makeshift room in a corner of the store. There was no privacy. It lacked any serene spa feeling that we get during a facial. Ulta as a corporation can do so much better then this!!

I walked in and asked if the brow bar was open. The gentleman (Scott) working it told me he was booked until 5pm in which I said I’d come back another day. As I was browsing the store, another woman checked in to see if i had any questions and then the gentleman came over and told me his appointment had just cancelled and he could take me. This Ulta is well kept and organized, staff are on top of everything and just much better than some other Ulta Beauty’s I’ve been to before. Also my eyebrows turned out fantastic.

I went to the Ulta at the Roosevelt Collection Mall on Roosevelt road in the South Loop...It was fine.... I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for and I was really frustrated that no one went out of their way to help me especially when there were so many people behind the register with nothing to do. When I walked over to the register to see if anybody could help me on the floor, they were very attentive and helpful... It's just would have been nice if they were more proactive about helping me.

Very unhappy with the overall experience. I was booked for a Master stylist but was given a simple stylist. Also, while shampooing my hair, her nails were hurting me real bad. She was an untrained stylist, who had no idea how to even wrap a towel on my hair properly. She kept pulling my hair. Also, while blow drying she kept the heat on highest setting, giving me burning sensations & kept snatching my hair. I would never recommend this salon for any hair services. It will just spoil your day.

The people working in the benefit area were very rude. I was shopping for a under eye concealer. And while testing out the products, the male and female employee in that area were laughing at me saying I'm going to get crows feet with how im applying the test product. Continued to laugh and talk about how I'm applying product. Poor customer service. I came in today wanting to buy a product to make myself feel and look better and I walked out upset. I'll stick to shopping at Sephora.

The store itself was fine and I eventually found what I was looking for but I was not greeted by anyone or helped in any way. I wandered around looking for a specific mascara while other shoppers were greeted and helped. I stood there waiting and looking... employees didn't even acknowledge me. And I refuse to ask for help when other shoppers are being OFFERED help. Im not sure if it's typical of the staff at this location or not but I won't be coming back to this one.

I absolutely love coming to this location! Christina helps my cousin and i selecting the appropriate make up that we look for. weather its different shade, application process, different brands and being 100% honest about the products! what she recommends always works!!! I ended up getting a facial done at the Dermalogica bar because she recommended it! my face felt so new! facials make a big difference with the way makeup products stay on your face!

I worked with Ruthie a few weeks ago, and she worked with me for a color match for a light coverage foundation. My skin tone is pretty tricky since I'm a mix of yellowish and pink undertones but we got it eventually and I'm very happy with the product. She was very patient with me in finding a product and she was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend this location as it is always well-stocked and clean and order pickup is always a breeze.

*This is a review about the salon* I normally only trust a few people with my haircuts but decided to go to the event where 100% of the proceeds went to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I sat with LaMisha for a trim of about 3 inches. I asked for a blunt cut and not only did she do that beautifully, she also feathered the ends so that it wouldn't hang heavily on my shoulders. Very happy with the service and result! I'll be back next time :)

This Ulta beauty is not any better or worse than any other I've been to, I just find the experience overwhelming and unpleasant. The store is organized in a way that requires you to either know what you want before you come in or have a brand that you are loyal to. Comparison shopping between two brands is very hard. Also, finding a non-cosmetics employee can be a little tough. The prices are high, but that is not unexpected in this category.

I got the best facial I have had in my life. I was really struggling with hormonal acne on my chin and neck. After my service Enrique recommended a sulfur based foam face wash which cured my adult acne within a matter of 2 weeks. The product was called KATE SOMERVILLE ExfoliKate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash Mini. If you need a cheaper option, I'm sure the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser will work just as well too. Great customer service. My wife likes getting her make up here, because the staff that work here are so knowledgeable and they will be honest with you in a good way. If you're unsatisfied with the make up for whatever reason they will try to help you the best as possible. they don't rush you they give you all the information you need to make the best purchase possible. Positive experience overall. I’m not really great at make up and understanding make up but Robert helped me with matching foundation, how to apply to get the best results, and tips to take care of some dry patches on my skin. He also gave me tips on what I could do depending on the kind of look I want. Even when I couldn’t verbalize what I was wanting he was able to help me out in finding it.

If I could put zero stars I would! Every employee here was extremely rude and no one bother to ask me if I needed help even though I was gonna spend 100+ at the store. I wonder why they have people on the floor if no one is doing anything. I did notice that women who were very well dressed and had makeup on were treated better than people who had no makeup on. It's a shame for this location.

This place is not for haircuts! They should bring specialists for that! The lady I booked with ruined my hair! Cut it uneven and was cutting a bit if each side to make it look even when I noticed and she even made it worse and shorter that I wanted . She also used some sort of scissors to make it not thick without my permission. I loved my thick hair!! Please DO NOT go there for haircuts!

Great location, HORRIBLE customer service. The absolute worse in this area. Even compared to Best Buy, Home Depot, Whole Foods, marshals, and cvs, this ulta is the worst. I only go when I do not want to look for parking, which it's rare. Overall they are horrible. Go to the Ulta on Ashland and division, they are wonderful and just the best. They make you feel like you're their friend.

I've been using an Ulta beauty stylist for about a year now and it’s been a great experience. I got my hair cut done there. The stylist is friendly and I absolutely love how my hair turns out. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she asked a whole bunch of questions to ensure she cut it exactly how I wanted it. I will never go to another stylist again. She is so amazing!

I absolutely hate having an encounter with the male employee here. I don't know his name, but the gay one. I don't know why he needs to have an attitude and be so condescending to customers. He needs to work on his customer service asap! This goes for the rest of the employees as well some will not treat you with respect unless you are making a big purchase.

The people at this store do not represent the company well, I've been shopping at Ulta stores for years, and was always treated with respect, until I went to the Roosevelt Collection location. DIK is the worst out of all of them, I've never been treated so bad by a retailer in my entire life of 33 years. I will never go back there and neither should you.

I do agree with the other comments about this store NOT having the same products that are being advertised for Ulta. However Chi Chi made my visit very pleasant, even with the store busy. I went to the Benefit Brow Bar in the Ulta Beauty located in Delano Court for eyebrow waxing and tinting. Erica was the Esthetician on duty. She did an AMAZING job! She was very informative, helpful, and she gave me a great shape and tint. I have booked with her twice and I walked out pleased each time. I highly recommend Erica! She's the best!

No one at this location asks if you need help, even though you clearly passed them looking confused multiple times. When you ask for help, you feel like you're bothering them. Those people at the high end makeup side love to stand together and chitchat. Only nice personality was the cashier. I'm sorry Ulta, I love your products though.

Lawd are these hair stylist life savors. They fixed my hair, bleached, colored and cut it and it looks so amazing. Ive never been so happy about my hair in my life. I was here today and one of the workers with colorful tattoos and colored hair was very nice and helpful to my friend; however, the manager who rang us up was mean mugging us and I don’t doubt that it was because we were people of color. Everytime I come here it's nice and relaxed... no one is stalking you while you're trying to shop. My last visit the clerk assisted me with an online order from her computer and gave me samples of some great products to try! She was very patient and kind!
