Ulta is the one-stop-shop for beauty, self-care and haircare products. The prices are higher on the drugstore items by a smidgen, but there usually is a coupon available, AND there is the option to buy 2 products get one free *most* occasions. I even came here for a few years for my haircuts until my stylist left (in 2018, lol.) If you are not a member of the rewards program, you should sign up. It is free! You accumulate points as you make purchases. The more you spend, the better perks you get as you advance through the tiered system. Regardless of your status in the program, you will always have a birthday freebie! I love Ulta because it carries so many cruelty free brands and luxury haircare tools including the Dyson airwrap, the DryBar one step blow dryer, etc. I have learned a lot about skincare over the years so I've had a great time testing products out that I see for sale at Ulta. I really appreciate how I don't feel judged when I come shop in sweats, a messy bun and glasses. There is always someone willing to help. The order pickup is effortless - make sure you have your ID on you.

Sales clerk double charged me for one of my items. Didn't notice till I had walked out and looked at receipt. I wasn't angry, as this is a simple mistake to correct. I walked back in store at 3 minutes til closing and two of the three employees standing behind the register looked my way with startling annoyed look ...(as I'm sure they were ready to close). I smiled as I approached the counter and said, "I think I was overcharged." The clerk who assisted me continued with her stink face look, processed the refund, BUT NEVER APOLOGIZED. I mean, had the gal not acted so inconvenienced by my presence, the lack of apology maybe wouldn't have bothered me. However, considering this was HER error, I expect better customer service. In my work, even if I make a silly trivial mistake with a client, I profusely apologize. Perhaps she needs some additional training or a permanent vacation because Ulta typically has the friendliest most helpful staff.

Ran in today to grab some updated essentials, as I haven't shopped in person in over 3 years. Claire was so sweet and helpful! She quickly found exactly what I needed and clearly knew the products well. Her expertise was such a breath of fresh air for a mom like me with very little kid-free time to shop. She made me feel comfortable and cared for by trying the products she picked out on my face. Not everyone wants to wear a full face of makeup but she found tools to improve my eye routine that didn't look obvious with minimal effort (which was just what I wanted). There was no pressure to buy, but it's easy when I walk out with exactly what I know I'll start using regularly. I hope I run into her next time I'm shopping cause I'm sure I'll need more help. To any managers reading this - she is a gem and great representation of your store!!

I would give this store and especially the little Asian girl a 1/2 star if I could. My husband and I purchased some makeup at the Liberty location where we put the purchase on my husbands Ulta charge (he didn’t have his card on him so they looked it up) but when we went to the this location to return some of those things because I didn’t like them, they refused to return them because they wouldn’t look up his card. WTH!?! You’ll look it up to charge on it but not return it. Then this little Asian girl was SOOO incredibly rude that I wanted to reach over the counter and smack her for talking to a customer the way she did. She should be FIRED! This was so STUPID and a waste of our time and gas!

I will never ever shop at Ulta again. It is totally ridiculous that their KCMO store is still closed to in store shopping due to Covid-19 when virtually every other place here is open.But the worst thing is ordering online! Ordered 2 NYX eyebrow pencils. $10 each or 2 for $15. Then Ulta charged $5.89 for "shipping & handing". REALLY!!! I guess that is to cover cost of the employee to bring the 2 pencils out to the car. Cancelled order. Found the exact same item at Amazon for $9.08 ($4.54 each) and free shipping right to my door tomorrow. Never again Utla, Never!!! You cannot treat your customers like this.

I went into Ulta for a haircut and dye. The service itself was fine but the cut was mediocre and the dye was AWFUL for the price of 120$. This dye is the absolute worst dye I've seen since the 2000s. I felt like I was taken back 10 years ago. It has bled on EVERYTHING body, clothes, bathroom, carpet. I have dyed my own hair with cheap Arctic Fox and gone to other salons and I've never seen a dye this bad before. I would never reccomend Ulta Salon to anyone until they get better products. If you pay a good 120$ for a service it better be with better products that you cant just find at a drug store.

Specifically drove 90 minutes from home To Ulta to buy foundation. I walked In a browse the shelves then looked for someone to helps Only one person on the floor and she was doi G someone’s makeup. I asked if they was someone that could help me. Her response, “It’s Sunday. We’re short handed “ I asked a very nice girl that worked in the salon. She couldn’t find anyone. I asked the one the staff at the checkouts, she said she would when she finished. She did not, even though I was standing right I front of her waiting. She walked off to deal with another employee that brought in doughnuts.

I love Ulta and have shopped at many of their locations. This one at Tiffany Springs has, by far, the friendliest, most engaged and helpful associates of all the stores. There's no pushing to buy products, just help for your questions. Ran myself out of shampoo right before Christmas and was dreading the line. Several girls at registers and someone from the salon grabbing people from the line to ring up in back made my wait super short. It's very clear they have the hustle handled and have a drive to happily deliver excellent service. Well done!

The girls in the SALON came out to help me make some decisions. They were wonderful. The "floor" personnel, were not as enthusiastic. You see, I am in a power wheelchair. It needs some repairs, so it isn't "pretty". I guess it makes me look poor or something. I'm also overweight. I couldn't even get help entering the store by the employee who was standing around near the door. Well, surprise, surprise... I have a LOT of credit available through my Ulta Credit Card. I won't be shopping "in store" again. I will stick to online.

Very poor professionalism by the retail manager at Ulta on Skyview in KCMO. I left my phone number for the store manager to call. I've also waited over a week and yet no response. I'm not one to leave a public review, but feel the situation needs attention. Speaking negativity about a customer still in the store, should have been lesson 1 in customer service. I won't go into specific details, it's too long. But I can 100% say I will never go to Ulta on Skyview again.

Yooo...I never thought I would have this much fun here. I was in here trying to find something for my wife and this short Asian lady (I think a manager not sure) had thee best energy ever!!! She was fun and she had a lot of knowledge. My wife showed up to the store 5 mins later (she was in JC Penny lol) and this lady had the both of us laughing. I wish I could remember her name. I do remember her and her husband went to Hawaii lol

Absolutely horrible!! Don't even deserve this ONE star!! I asked so many questions about my hair and they insured me that it will work and could do it!! Well, that was a lie! My hair looks so bad and not what I wanted.. the manager was nice... But my hair is so screwed! I could keep going... Just don't pick this place. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! If you are trying to gray blend! I want to put her name in this, but I won't!

Stylist Meagan Ward was absolutely AMAZING. She was so personable, informative, we laughed and joked. She made the entire experience so much more enjoyable and I actually learned a lot about how to care for my hair. I had both a cut and color done and despite the color process being confusing to me, the final choices she helped me make came out better than I could've imagined.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER. My daughter went in for a haircut, came home looking like nothing was cut. I called same evening and they get her in the next day with same stylist. Paige was rude, even stating at one point that she just couldn’t get it right. My daughter has chunk out of the right side of her head, uneven layers. WILL NEVER GO BACK AND DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND PAIGE.

The staff at Ulta is fantastic! I came in today to purchase a few items....saw a perfume on sale, but it was marked with the wrong price which was much lower than the actual cost of the perfume. Ulta staff honored the amount reflected on the box! They didn’t have to, but they did! Great service excellence! Thank you Ulta team for a nice shopping experience today

I love ulta, been a member for years. Came in looking to restock while I was in the area. Couldn't find the products i needed or a sales rep. Finally, gave up after 20 minutes of wondering around and left, only to find all the associates chatting at the register. Good thing there's plenty of location to choose from.

This store has a fantastic selection of makeup & skincare. Dermalogica is definitely my fav! Love the Age Smart line. Fantastic customer service with a team who love to play with products as much as we do. It can be confusing that there are drugstore brands mixed in, but I do like the variety.

This review is directly for the salon. It’s not a terrible job don’t get me wrong but the simple 5 min wax (using strips) that was done is NOT worth 27 bucks!! Better off saving a few dollars at the European wax center (they use hard wax which I find less painful) Pricing here is a joke …

call just place to set an appointment and she asked me what I was going to be getting told her my niece was getting her head shaved on one side and underneath will simple and she proceeded to tell me she don't have anything open for the next two to three days I thought that was real rude

Was shopping around with my friend today and came near two other customers. A sales associate came up to one of them and asked if they needed help. She then skipped us and asked the other customer if she needed help then walked away. We were never asked if we were doing okay. Very rude.

Sales people were friendly. Good selection of products with wide range of prices. Checkout took a little longer since cashiers were chatting with customers which is both a plus and minus. Hadn't been in since Covid started. Store was clean. Overall a positive experience today.

This place does not deserve one star. They sold me a defective bottle of perfume And they will not replace or give me a credit for it. Don't waste your time or money at a business that does not back their product. This was the final answer coming from the manager Kelly.

Shout out to Makayla for doing a GREAT job on my daughters haircut! It was her first big cut and I was nervous to let somebody cut it off. Makayla was very friendly and nice, making us feel at ease! My daughter is in total love with her gorgeous new look, so thank you!!

Amber and her manager went out of their way to do an extraordinary kindness for my 15 yo daughter and me. I think this will become our go-to store of the three Ultas that are near where we live. I just appreciate their kindness so much and feel it should be rewarded.

Super positive experience! I believe the associate may be a new employee, however, she went above and beyond to help me get items ordered, as well as interacted with my thirteen year old daughter, when most adults don't really acknowledge kids her age! Very pleased!

Wasn't helped right away, wasn't shown the trial sizes as I did mention that I wasn't familiar with the products. However, once I signed up I was given birthday gifts. Sadly, one of the gifts were a sample of a product I could have skipped and tried something new.

I went to their store @ 9:28am and they weren’t opened as advertised on their front door for the holidays today is November 25th 2019. Lights were on but doors were locked. Please do not tell the consumers how you will be opened at 9am when you don’t follow thru.

The girls who work here are really sweet. I didn’t realize if you order online you have to pick it up or it goes back. They helped me find my stuff and honored price I had originally ordered. They were helpful color matching foundation for our daughter.

As always, excellent customer service and great inventory from many brands. From make-up to shampoo, blow dryers, curling irons, etc. I don't think any woman could be disappointed in this store, plus they're adding mens products also.

I had my haircut from mid-back length to a pixie. I had Kortney (who was really nice) cut my hair to a pixie. She did a great job! She also went over a few product options to keep the style she had done. I love it it's super cute.

I always find what I need. The staff is super friendly whenever I have a question. There are three ultas in my area I go to and I always check the app first to make sure the item I want is in stock and where it's in stock.
