My experience at this university was worst. I have did my high school here and this never happened to me in elementary or high school till now, in school I’ve always talked to teachers, counsellor and even receptionist they are very kind with everyone. I went their with my cousin and talked to receptionist and she was so rude, I told her that i have to go talk to the registrar and she said why do you wanna go and i said it’s something personal, she was like but still, but according to me this is not fair, I will talk to the registrar about my case, at this moment I told my cousin that leave this university and later when I went into registrar’s office, this guy called us and never asked us to have a seat, he haven’t heard our problem properly, he said 2 words then was like that’s it, leave. They are just increasing the price of the course and nothing else. I’ll suggest you guys to change the staff you already have or Atleast try to change the behaviour that you have. I would never ever go to this university ever. Worst university. Teachers don’t even know how to teach. They just give some assignment and say just do it. Some students here come from different background of study from India and teachers should give some guidelines or training classes wether that’s online or offline and should not pay for that. I would never recommend this university to anyone coming from India or students here.

Please read carefully if you are coming to ucw .. I came Canada in September 2023. Everything was so easy I got my offer letter in tow days. But when I arrived here, before starting of term I visited the university, the staff was so rude they didn't guide me about anything. They were asking me why I came . So, I told them I just came to visit . After some time I talked to some students and they asked me if I am new ,I said yes. After that sad part of story began . They told me that ucw is scamming students , university doesn't has enough seats but still they are giving offer lettes. After waiting in a long line for an hour ,I finally talked to a staff member they told me that I can't start my study because they don't have any seats left . They offered my to join in January or I can get refund . I choosed refund . Which I had to apply online without any help . Finally after too many forms and inquiries. They made a virtual appointment with me and told me that they will cut 7500 CAD from my paid fees . Because it's there policy . So the moral of the story is I had to spent three months on defferment and during this period one cannot work . If any member of ucw reading this and wanna do something for me my student number is 2315514. If you can still read this, this means my problem is not solved yet.

The vast majority of UCW professors are great! UCW is an organized institution. I enjoyed this part of the experience. However, student service is rude, amateur, inhumane, disrespectful and treats students like trash. This part of the experience destroys the first. No one smiles, they are bitter, they are not nice, and no one empathizes with the student. I'm an alumnus and I received an email calling me to pick up a gift. I was curious and excited to go there today. But what could have been a very good move to cultivate relationships with graduates turned into a nightmare. I should never have gone there to receive such a gift. The result was regret, trauma, and sadness. As I would have expected, I was again treated like garbage from the front desk to the final service. This is the kind of investment that UCW should never make. The university spent money to have a detractor. It is a pity. The academic experience with most professors is great, but the experience with everything outside of the classroom is terrible. I don't expect to receive an answer, but I hope someone will pay attention on students, finally. Please, don’t dare to ask me to spend more time writing an email that no one will care. Everything is written here. Please, ignore me and only do your job: train your staff.

I took the pill with UCW, and honestly, as an international student who put his hard-earned money on this degree, not my family's money. I can save you the waste of time; don't do it. It operates as an immigration agency where you basically pay to obtain the PGWP. It was a disappointing experience all along; the campus is ridiculously small, and professors grade you in the most abstract way, but you will still pass; everyone passes, and they make sure of that. What hit me the most, was the culture, and the expectations of the students. Everyone seemed to be "in on it" with the experience being transactional, you pay your fee, say present when attendance is being taken and that's it; don't expect insightful debates, or collaborations with diverse classmates which is the whole point of an MBA. If you're looking to be smarter and learn you won't get it there, if you're looking to get a PGWP they sell those for about ~CAD$35k. Just ask around about the hiring rate of the MBA graduates, and the perception of companies that are not coffee shops of this degree.

I was recently accepted into UCW's MBA program and the process of applying was extremely smooth and efficient! Ms. Hema Karnani is my Student Recruitment Advisor and throughout the duration of my application, she was very supportive and efficient. She responded to my queries immediately, always personally checked in with me through phone calls and emails to make sure I knew everything I wanted and needed to know. I appreciated that a lot. Along with being accommodating for the different time zone that I currently live in, she was also very reassuring as the application process can be stressful sometimes. Positive: New student Orientation is excellent for new students, negative: however the past months it is difficult to register courses, first week so many students in waitlist and we ended up registering many times the left overs, difficult to choose the schedule and professors. The registrar office should open more courses and reduce sections before starting classes with few students. That is an excellent practice from my previous university and I never had problems registering for courses like in UCW. I hope the new director can help in fixing those issues, because the last one made ucw reputation fall down for issues like this making all students suffer with the registration of courses.

Finished an Associate of Arts there. My last term was ok, one professor forgot to grade me for an assignment that was doke in group. I emailed him several times but the answer was that he was busy with end of term stuff, emailed different departments several times and no one seemed to know the exact procedure to help me, there was always someone else to talk to, or a differentdepartmentthat was responsible. Same grading issue happens to other colleagues. Even with the F I got I passed the course but its just disrespectful to the student, especially for international ones, where the course completion can impact our visa status.

Overall my experiences has been not the best, especially with some lecturers, and also, with courses registration. In my last term I couldn’t see any professors name, which once you start to enroll classes students will see the importance of seeing the name of lectures. University tries to normalize the situation saying is normal but is not, it never happened before. A bit disappointed.

Terrible "university". The initial deposit you will be paying is $7,900 which won't be refunded if you decide to change college or withdraw from the program (even without attending a single class). Other colleges/universities across Canada offer partial if not full refund on their deposit fees but UCW won't refund even a single dollar.
