This will be a long one, but before going to this school you should read this because I was not the only one experiencing things like these at UCW. First and foremost, there was a mix up with my tuition for a very long time. They promised me a scholarship of 20 thousand and were not deducting the full amount from my tuition. I was basically paying double of what I was supposed to pay. I was exchanging emails with them for a whole month and getting responses such as “thats due to inflation” which is insane because inflation does not double tuitions in less than a year. The school ONLY gave me my money back once a third party company told them I would sue the school for my money. The second extremely upsetting experience I’m having right now is with my former professor. He taught the GEO 101 class online and we had many issues with him throughout the term. He wouldn’t post assignments guide lines, submission boxes for those said assignments, send us presentation topics TWO DAYS BEFORE PRESENTING, gaved us wrong due dates in class, and for a very long time he was not TAKING OUR ATTENDANCE. To finalize this horrid, stressful experience, he forgot to upload some of mine and my classmates’ final grades, AND said he cannot find some of our assignments and just gave us a ZERO FOR IT. We all reached out to the academic department, reported him, and talked to the professor himself. I even got in contact with the head of the AA department (Associates of Arts, which is the program I am in) the professor in question simply stopped responding to my emails and the school also did the same. The only one who continues to email me is the head of the department. I am extremely upset and I will say with my full chest DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. Go somewhere else. They do not listen to students and they do not solve issues. All this school will do is make your life harder, take a bunch of money from you and give you low quality education. And WHEN you have a problem, because it will come, they will tell you to email a bunch of different departments and no one will do anything to help you. It is discouraging to be a student here and I can’t wait to graduate and leave. I’m not the complaining type but I’ve had my fair share of unpleasant experiences in this school. It has been the worst school I have ever been to. I hope they improve in the future, but they have a LONG way to go before they get there.

This Univeristy Canada West is nothing but a scam. Let me tell you few things before you participate in any of this private colleges or Univeristy like Univeristy Canada west. Univeristy Canada West or UCW will keep your deposit of $7900 as non refundable which they keep it for nothing. There policy clearly says that they will return your 100% deposit if your visa is denied by IRCC or Immigration Canada. This amount of $7900 is 100% non refundable if you a visa to enter Canada. Technically this organization is charging this amount as there fees for getting you a visa and they know that they can not use this word in their policy. If you still want to enroll, come as a student then ask UCW to give you in writing that if you enroll in their University, pay them 50% of the total fees, enter Canada and suddenly you don't like this college for any reason, trust me guys you will loose your money. Ask them to give you in wiritng that they will refund you your money in case you don't like their college. Do not take there words only but you need this thing in wiriting. Do not never ever get enroll and start your education before entering Canada. Once you start your online education you will loose the initial fees you pay them. Education in India is 100% better and reasonable. You come here just with the dream that you will be making tons of money right away but this is not true. I had personal experience with UCW and they are nothing but they have open an organization where they can give you smile and rip you off. After MBA study in UCW you will not be able to get any good or decent job. To pursue your career, study in your home country and finish your Bachelor's degree in some spezialized skill so you can pursue your career in real anywhere in the world. Share this in your team and all the best.

I had the privilege of experiencing an exceptional service from UCW representative Sagar Wupadrasta, and I am thrilled to share my positive review. From the moment I first contacted University Canada West to inquire about their MBA Business Administration program, I was met with a level of professionalism and attentiveness that exceeded my expectations. Sagar was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making me feel welcome and valued as a potential student. Throughout the application process, Sagar went above and beyond to guide me through each step, ensuring that I understood the requirements and deadlines. He promptly answered all my questions, providing detailed explanations that allowed me to make informed decisions about my academic journey. What truly stood out to me was Sagar's genuine interest in my academic and career aspiration, as my situation got a bit complicated during the application . His personalized approach made me feel confident that I was making the right choice for my future. He patiently addressed any concerns I had, reassuring me that everything was being handled efficiently and professionally. I am immensely grateful for the exceptional service provided by University Canada West and Sagar. Their commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and genuine care for prospective students are truly commendable. Thanks to their efforts, I am now eagerly looking forward to commencing my MBA journey at University Canada West.

The vast majority of UCW professors are great! UCW is an organized institution. I enjoyed this part of the experience. However, student service is rude, amateur, inhumane, disrespectful and treats students like trash. This part of the experience destroys the first. No one smiles, they are bitter, they are not nice, and no one empathizes with the student. I'm an alumnus and I received an email calling me to pick up a gift. I was curious and excited to go there today. But what could have been a very good move to cultivate relationships with graduates turned into a nightmare. I should never have gone there to receive such a gift. The result was regret, trauma, and sadness. As I would have expected, I was again treated like garbage from the front desk to the final service. This is the kind of investment that UCW should never make. The university spent money to have a detractor. It is a pity. The academic experience with most professors is great, but the experience with everything outside of the classroom is terrible. I don't expect to receive an answer, but I hope someone will pay attention on students, finally. Please, don’t dare to ask me to spend more time writing an email that no one will care. Everything is written here. Please, ignore me and only do your job: train your staff.

This university is a joke. I failed my marketing course in the summer, and when I went to my professor, he said that the department chair, Gelareh Farhadian, would reject the grades if we didn't fail some students. We have to maintain a certain average for the class. All professors here are from Iran and are rude and biased towards Indian students. The majority of students here are from India. I sent an email to Gelareh Farhadian requesting to increase my grades, and it has been a week, and she has not replied to me. I would like upper management to talk to Gelareh Farhadian to ask her why she is asking professors to fail Indian students and maintain averages if we are working hard and doing what is needed for the course. If we fail, we have to pay for the course again, which is more money for the university. I will file a complaint with the BC Ministry of Education for Gelareh Farhadian. Please look into this matter and talk to Gelareh Farhadian immediately, so Indian students can be protected at this university against bias from Iranian professors. No reply from Ombudsperson regarding Gelareh Farhadian! They never reply. Someone needs to look into this university....

  • Meet Chaudhary

Hello UCW, It’s Meet Chaudhari from India. I may be your future student in upcoming months. As I wanted to apply in your school, I have been getting reviews for some days. And I realised that mostly students are facing problems like utilities, grading systems and specially faculties. I think you must focus on it otherwise it’ll lead in such a negative way. For example, One of your student has made a video in which he mentioned that a friend of him revived a mail from his professor of deduction her mark from 92 to 88 (approx), when she asked her professor why he did that so her professor replied her that it’s the university order which I have to follow. In short, my question is why you have to do like that. And, this whole story is in the you tube channel of Karan in Canada. I really don’t want to give negative impact of UCW because there are many other benefits too. I just want to tell about the current scenario. I hope you will change the whole system and make the peaceful study atmosphere till I’ll be there. Thank you for reading. Have a good day.

It's affordable for being Canadian University and helpful for your immigration process, that's it. Lack of good communication, a useless platform on a mobile device, good professors but a very subjective way to grade students (most of the time essays and questionnaires from a book where you can find the answer easily, and when you "buy" the book you only have access for the duration of the term). Examples here: campus classes are called now hybrid classes but in the instructions it doesn't state that, and anyone explained that change before. I can't attach a document in a email if I use the website on my mobile phone (the platform is terrible). They haven't updated my payment ans I payed 2 ago. I want to specialize in Project management and there is only one optative in Agile Project Management and I need to choose two. Anyone answers the phone number when you call and when you click the options they don't work. Imagine if these simple problems happen frequently how many more issues this university has.

Avoid dealing with Vamshi as your admission officer. He's not very helpful and very misleading. I am a local student and according to the university's website not obligated to take English proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, and Duolingo for admission. However, the admission consultant told me otherwise and I booked Duolingo according to their requirement. After successfully passing the exam, the consultant informed me that Duolingo no longer accepted, and I needed to take another test. This situation left me feeling foolish as I wasted a significant amount of time and money on the exam, only to be told it was not accepted anymore. It seems that this university is disinterested in welcoming new students, given the unsatisfactory service. I am unable to endorse this university to anyone due to the experience I had, and I find this consultant's behavior deeply disappointing.

Honestly speaking, I have been experiencing so much dissatisfaction with UCW. After arriving to Canada, I encountered several health issues so I decided to move in to another province. However, I was so much mentally exhausted by UCW’s response towards a student’s program withdrawal request. After waiting for months they give us an appointment and then they deliberately didn’t show up there. I have been sending multiple emails to respective departments to either defer my intake or refund my fees .Since after this degree of mental exhaustion I’m unable to go there and resume my study. Kindly work on communicating with student’s problems thoroughly lest it might affect them psychologically. I shall be thankful to team UCW.

This university is nothing but a fraud. They will do anything and everything to delay your graduation and ask for more money. I am supposed to be graduating in winter semester and now they are telling me that I am not left with two but three courses next semester, which is another $2000 in their pocket. Clearly they changed my program plan and their is no proof of it now. They are spending all their money on marketing because clearly no alumni would recommend this university. So if anyone wants to study in Canada their are better universities and colleges public ones to be exact and cheaper than this fraud university.

Worst school ever, don’t waste your time and money. It’s just a mill diploma school that wants your money. They don’t have available courses to enroll in when it’s time to register, and the ones open are on a waitlist of 25 people. If you are lucky to enroll the course you like, prepare to be in a classroom of at least 30 people in a tiny room. The only thing they are good at is at sending emails, reminding students the tuition fee deadline. If you are only looking to move to Canada and get the PR this is your school, if you thought this was a good idea to become someone in life, don’t waste your time and money.

I am immensely grateful to my student recruitment advisor ‘Priyanka Vatti’ for her unwavering support and guidance throughout the entire process of applying for UCW and my Visa. I had a very short time to get the visa, but she ensured that I had everything I needed and kept reassuring me that everything would be fine. She was the first staff member from UCW that I interacted with and she made a great impression on me. Thank you so much Priyanka for taking my case seriously and assisting me in every possible way. I am now eagerly looking forward to studying at UCW.

First, I guess UCanWest has been best to me in providing support and information for MBA programme. I would like to thank Ms. Hema Karnani for your immense support and advise that you have provided to me from the beginning. Still she is assisting me in my application process. She patiently addressed all my queries and concerns, ensuring that I had a clear understanding of each step. This is by far best support that I have received from any university. Hope to receive same support from UCanWest Staffs in future. Thanks

  • Felix Ahonzo

The admission process into UCW is very simple. This is because of the constant support you receive from the student recruitment advisors. Mansoor Khan( a student recruitment advisor) was always available to help me with my questions and gave guidance on the right way to complete the process. His service was the best and I am absolutely grateful for his help and support. The admission process is the best. Keep up the good work.

  • Alisha Roye

Just want to inform new students. If "Nikila Erukulla" is your recruitment advisor, immediately switch her. Although I am a regular student now but my experience at the time of admission (including few of my friends) with her was worst. She won't be available when you need, can misguide you or will not share full information especially if it can give you benefit or flexibility. You'll thanks me later.

  • Sheeba Clement

I honestly didn't have any hope while I applied. I just applied and within a few days I got a call from the university asking for missing documents and they kept following up . Particularly Jaikishan was constantly in touch until I got my letter of acceptance. He was there with me every step of the way. It was such a smooth and easy process. Looking forward to start my course there.

  • Yvette Sze

UCW is my one and only choice. I didn't consider other schools when I decided to study in Canada! I have no regrets! Our university has all the facilities and support services a student may need. The professors are all top notch! They are the best in their respective fields! I am having a great time meeting new people from different countries.

  • Gabriel Aspee

A few months ago I sent my application to the university. The next day I received a response and a request for pending and necessary documents. The follow-up that the university did was very good. Now we are ready to move to Vancouver and I’ll start the MBA program very soon. So exited about this new experience. Can’t wait to be there!

  • Yato gami

Terrible "university". The initial deposit you will be paying is $7,900 which won't be refunded if you decide to change college or withdraw from the program (even without attending a single class). Other colleges/universities across Canada offer partial if not full refund on their deposit fees but UCW won't refund even a single dollar.

  • Nizar Somani

As an international student, applying for colleges abroad has been quite stressful with regards to all the formalities. However, it’s been a real pleasure working with Miss Kashi Bai Patel. She has been an extremely supportive advisor who made my entire admission process extremely smooth and less stressful.

  • SIMRAN VIJAY RANA

Worst university. Some professor's would literally change your grade's at the last moment to fail you. And the office department's never give response on time. If you want to waste your time and money and live under constant stress. Literally UCW has RUINED MY MENTAL HEALTH....!!!

  • Thandiwe Zimba

I have had a really bad experience at UCW and it is very expensive although I know that the fee of this university was high but I was not aware that they increased the fee every year which impacted international students badly. Moreover,
