As someone who has always struggled to find the motivation to exercise and, if I'm being honest, has always slightly dreaded it, I'm stunned by how much my mindset has shifted since I've started at Uplift. I now actually look forward to going as the difference I feel when I've finished each session makes such a difference to my day! I can slowly feel myself getting stronger and fitter with more energy. As someone with a health condition who has always struggled with energy, I'm shocked by the difference this is making to my health and life. It's all down to Jaz, Anna and Scotty who have created such a positive, encouraging and non intimidating space! Every member is listened to and supported, each small win is celebrated and I never thought I'd be doing strength training and enjoying it so much, thank you so much guys! I love my sessions and the other members are lovely. I've genuinely never enjoyed exercise so much.

But I think the biggest achievement of Jaz, Anna and Scotty was having built a community around working out. The classes are so small and personal, it is like you’re hanging out with friends whilst challenging yourself. And it feels great to know you’re not alone in this journey!!!!

Jaz and Anna and Scotty are all very very very kind friendly professionals, they are all very encouraging and push you and challenge you in a very healthy way. PT and groups workouts are all about how you feel on the day and you choose if you want to go heavier or not, it’s all according to you. I always feel great after my workout sessions and I can’t have any better ones anywhere else with anyone else. Absolutely recommend it to people who hate going to gym by themselves and not know what to do like me .

My confidence has grown so much and I am now able to lift things I never thought would be possible and feel so much stronger. Progress has been consistent but at my own pace. Jaz has always been flexible, adapting exercises where something wasn’t working for me and embraced my whims (Could I do a pull up? Can I do this sitting down? How about more weight/less reps?) I can’t imagine training with anyone else!
As I moved away from the area I only had 6 weeks at this fantastic gym and I miss it so much. I mainly trained with Jaz and Anna who are both super lovely and knowledgeable. I did a mix of 1:1 PT sessions and the small group classes as I had limited time and wanted that extra attention you get with training 1 on 1. However I also really enjoyed the classes, there is a great motivating atmosphere and if you are new to training, you will never feel intimidated. The groups are small enough that your form will always be looked at and corrected (if you need that support!) which can sometimes be an issue in classes- but not a problem at uplift!
Uplift in Wandsworth is an absolute hidden gem for anyone looking for a new challenge or to change up their workout routines. The training team there - Jaz, Anna and Scotty - are great at keeping us all motivated and each have a fun, easygoing and different style of training that keeps every workout fresh and different. The small group sizes are perfect for getting good individual support and the schedule of sessions each day is also perfect for those who don't have standard 9-5 working hours. I would recommend it to everyone to try out - you will be hooked from the first session!
My favourite 3 days of the week! Uplift is amazing - you get the dual benefit of targeted coaching AND the fun social aspect of training alongside other people. I always feel a bit of an 'Uplift' when I walk out and everyone training there is lovely. It feels like the programming changes at the perfect time - over the weeks, you notice real progression, but it's never repetitive and you're always mastering something new and exciting. Jaz, Scotty and Anna are all incredible coaches - they really know their stuff and are supportive while challenging you to be your best!
Literally THE BEST GYM!!! I actually LIKE going to the gym now (no seriously), I look forward to it and enjoy challenging myself. Jaz, Anna and Scotty are fabulous coaches and get to know each person that shows up for their sessions. They take the time to understand what each person needs in their fitness journey, but never makes them feel singled out or less than. I absolutely love that the focus of this gym is just to feel happy and healthy - there are no "weight goals" or "food shaming", just a focus on feeling strong and positive...great job you guys, keep it up!
Uplift and my PT Scotty are an absolute game-changer! As someone who used to despise the idea of going to the gym, I can't believe how much I now look forward to my workouts. Scotty's expertise and motivational approach have transformed my mindset and fitness journey. The atmosphere at Uplift Gym is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a joy to be there. Joining Uplift is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I used to absolutely dread going to the gym and feel lost but at Uplift that’s all changed! I actually look forward to heading in for my classes as even if I’m feeling a bit meh that day, I know I’ll always leave feeling 100% better with a smile on my face - Jaz, Anna & Scotty are all amazing coaches and have made me feel so at ease, they’re just the best. Jaz has created an amazing and truly non-intimidating environment at Uplift. Prior to joining I had never done any strength training, and from week to week, I know I am getting stronger and more confident in the gym. Training at Uplift has been the best decision I've made this year. I've always wanted to be able to strength train effectively but never knew how to start and felt overwhelmed going to the gym alone. I am glad that I have joined Uplift it is a great place and local to me that is very important after working long hours in the City. I like the fact that every training is different, and you work all the body parts. 1 month in, and loving my uplift journey already. I couldn’t recommend Uplift more! The most supportive and motivational trainers who only want to see you grow. Having always struggled to find motivation or confidence in the gym, I now look forward to every single class, even after the most stressful days. The variance in training is great, no class feels the same and I always feel like I’m learning a new technique or strengthening my knowledge.
I joined Uplift after some time off from strength training and have really enjoyed my time at the gym. The workouts are varied and fun, feeling like we make great progress week by week. Really grateful to Jaz, Anna and Scotty for going above and beyond, modifying workouts after sustaining unrelated injuries playing cricket helping me to continue to workout safely. Highly recommend.
Great workout environment with very knowledgeable trainers. Great private gym for gym-goers at all levels. I've been gyming for 6-7 years now, so I naturally thought I knew everything there was to know, but the Team here at Uplift London proved me wrong, teaching me a variety of tips and tricks to help improve my lifting form on many movements. Highly recommend!
Uplift truly is my "happy place". Since the day the doors opened, this workout space has provided the knowledge, support and positivity missing at any other gym or studio I've been to (and I've been doing this a long time!). The knowledge of the trainers is off the charts and every single person reaps the benefit of their collective experience and energy.

I’ve always had an on and off relationship with fitness but Jaz , Anna and Scotty make it feel brand new every time and I never thought I’d be excited for the gym, but now I am! The name is spot on! The entire team, Jaz, Anna and Scotty are all welcoming and supportive. They know how to push you without making you feel uncomfortable and cheer you on. The small group classes mean you get attention to form and a really good workout. The overall environment is super friendly. I’m so glad I found them!
I highly recommend working with Jaz as a personal trainer. She has a positive attitude and is very motivating, pushing me at every workout. Jaz ensures that every workout is diverse and customised to my goals, keeping things exciting and dynamic. She's also easy to get on with and we have fun at every session.

I was hesitant at first about joining a gym however the instructors at Uplift really made me challenge myself in a supportive environment. Loved the classes. Did something different every time and really felt the difference in my strength and fitness. Super gym!!!
