A calm Wednesday lunch time. I ordered my usual, spicy chicken strips with chips. The strips come in 3, 5 and 9 as a meal with a drink. It's been a long time since frequented this establishment. I use to dine in, in the underground seating back between 2006-2009. It's still maintained it's high quality. The chicken is spicy, flavourful and the coating is unbelievably tasty. The fries are of a high quality and their hot sauce, extremely tantalising. There is seating underground, very spacious and suitable for groups (small and large) with Cable TV. However, due to the spiral stairs going down, do not recommend families with kids or a push-chair. Nonetheless, it's the best Halal fried chicken take-away in the City Centre. The owner has refurbished since I last visited, the standards of hygiene are even more greater. All the new metal machinery, with the raw food and ingredients enclosed and stored carefully. The level of hygiene is ridiculously high and maintained at all times. The food preparation, service and general takeout packing (napkins, cutlery etc) is perfect.

I had ordered a chicken doner wrap. The positives were that the chicken was warm and fresh and it was juicy. However, the ingredients were cheap and the chilli sauce was too sweet (It wasn’t meant to be sweet chilli sauce). Which was messing with the flavours of the wrap. The chicken was extremely bland and you could taste the flavourlessness through the sauces. Also I didn’t realise there was lettuce in my wrap until it was 3 quarters finished. Total cost was £5 which was quite expensive for the quality and quantity of the food.

Very pathetic OVER-PRICED, bad quality food! We ordered half Peri Peri chicken (which lacked the original Peri Peri freshness & flavor, owner defrosted it in front of me, & the Naan bread was very greasy & burnt! The urban special chicken egg noodles I ordered were too greasy, having very less quantity of vegetables& chicken. Last but not least "the owner cleverly uses breast & leg meat in the Peri Peri while the black &stale meat of chicken other parts i.e. thighs etc was used in the chicken noodles. MEAT was stale & had a very bad taste!!! Our 1st & last visit, would RATE it 1/10

Most overrated place ever! The food is below average and very very overpriced! I'm sorry or not sorry but the reviewers are either drunk out of their minds or have no finesse and taste whatsoever! I will not eat from this place ever again, how are they even still open after furlough baffles me. The low standard burgers are priced as how a gourmet burger would be priced, it is made processed. Why is it so overpriced I have no idea. I make better burgers than them. Pathetic business. Eat at your own risk. I am so disappointed. One word describes their food "Pathetic!"

Really very surprising! I would definitely recommend the Peri Peri burger and Katsu! The seating area is quite clean and spacious and not what I was expecting at all given that the upstairs looks like your run of the mill takeaway/chippies. I think this place is going to be my go-to every time I come to Birmingham via train (literally across the road from Grand Central!) and most importantly it's HMC approved! Fantastic!

Love the food. I always bring more of my friends and encourage them to go to a great place like this. The wok menu is Delicious. And the burgers are perfect. The portion sizes match perfectly with the cost. I consider the pricing to be fair given quality and portion size. When I go here I do spend more than I usually do for a takeaway. However enjoy myself much much more. Very happy. Great service. Good prices

Halal food near Birmingham city centre. PRICES are not too bad considering it is city centre. If you dine in you near to take your food downstairs yourself in the eating in area. You have to tidy up as some tables have got rubbish on and no staff cleaning up.

The most disgusting service I have ever received. Went for lunch as I was at work and I had the manager scream in my face because the card machine wasn’t working, he thought I had someone else’s card!! I was left in tears after he humiliation me and shouted at me for 5 mins. Horrendous. STAY AWAY if you don’t want to be disrespected. They should be shut down for hygiene purposes too.

Although the food was good, the service was slow, seating area not clean. You can not see the drinks on offer and getting an answer about what they stick not very clear

Went there by chance - and I totally and absolutely loved their food. The taste is so good, flavourful and juicy, great meal size and fast service. They also recommend meals depending on your spice preference. Basement has a sitting area too. My fav is noodles with prawn. This is one of the best cheap meal places situated just across the grand central station.

Nearly broke my teeth on the chicken donner, disgusting. Messed my order up. I rang in advance and he hadn't even started half of it when I got there. Small portions and ended up throwing up an hour later as my stomach was churning. Don't understand how it has a 4.0 rating? Maybe because their main customer base seems to be students? Very disappointed

I would not recommend this place, ordered a cheeseburger and chips, the burger pattie the man took a already cooked pattie from a plastic tub and put on grill to reheat and chips were already cooked and fried again...£7 for reheated food, I did complain and the man serving werent really interested so I left, if u want fresh food avoid this place.

Situated in a nice place in town, food was really good, workers friendly and service was fast, definitely recommend

We ordered burgers It's very pricy for what you get. Normal chicken shop with gourmet burger prices. Chicken doner burger was rock hard. They need to change the frier oil for once. Chicken strips were rubbery and the chips were cold. The food was cold when it arrived and the drinks were missing. Waste of money Very disappointed.

Top pair of guys serving an excellent array of food. If you're stuck for a late night snack, you'll be hard pressed to beat it.

Terrible service and management. I make my order on Uber Eats at 10:30PM, and wait over 45minutes to find that their restaurant closed their kitchen at 10. However, my order and payment went through!? Why TF would you keep your restaurant open on the app and confuse/charge your customers?

Ordered two noodle dishes. Both dishes were delicious!!! Perfect amount of spice and sweetness made to our specifications! The customer service was attentive and reflects the care they show to their customers. I was surprised with the affordable price! :)

PeriPeri chicken was microwaved,Udon noodles was drowned in sweet and sour sauce but somehow the meat(very miniscule pieces of chicken and prawns)managed to have no taste like they were just boiled.The dining area was also unclean and unkept.

Got the fried chicken breast burger meal. Was nice along with the sauce however the portion isn’t quite what you pay for, £7. However the food was great and the sauce and it filled me up despite not having breakfast, would definitely go again

Excellent food. Offers a huge variety of food from kebabs to burgers and also has its own Chinese station offering Chinese food. Staff are exceptionally courteous and welcoming. Toilets are always clean. Food is amazing. Highly recommended.

The chicken in here is OLD meat, it is inedible. The "Chinese" sauce and food is disgusting, the burgers are frozen ones you can buy from Iceland. Rip off prices, gross food, terrible service. Save your money and eat elsewhere

The refurbishment looks great. The food has always been delicious, though I particularly enjoy the Chinese menu. All sauces are made by the chef and have an authentic taste. Staff are always friendly and professional.

This is my go to place. Great location, friendly people and good food. They serve a lot of Halal options. Their oriental set menus are very good. They have a sitting area at their basement.

Found this place by accident. Glad we did because the food is absolutely yummy. Great value for money, the portions are very generous.

Over priced and under cooked, the chicken meat had so much gristle and fat it was inedible. Feel sick rather quickly after eating it.
