A lot of bad reviews for here and from my experience previously studying at this campus I think I can provide some insight. Yes, administration here is appalling. There has been many times that important communication has been lacking and the admin team has failed to do things correctly. In my experience though, while this is a problem and a big one especially when it comes to handling student payments, it's the main issue for this Uni. Comments about lack of teacher care isnt quite true; what no one else mentions, that I've seen day in and day out is that the students themselves don't care and thus lead to teachers who feel they won't get anywhere putting in the work to teach these people a trade. But the students who do show a willingness to learn and understand the importance of safety get treated with much more respect. Is it great? No, but its an understandable position. No one wants to feel as though they are doing something for nothing to show for it. Apprentices are given space to work on their own and make mistakes, which teachers then come in and help them learn from. This uni provides a proper chance for those who show they are capable, but as with anyone else in the trade industry, will just leave behind students who show absolutely no care for what they are doing and just want to breeze through. As with any University course at any other establishment, you need to actually apply yourself to learn things because it won't just be handed to you on a silver plate.

DO NOT ENROL!!!! Absolutely useless school they give you no help and guidance all while the admin at Sunshine is run by selfish individuals who leave the students in the gutter setup to fail. How can enrolment forms be lost multiple times. You can't contact anyone and you always get led back to the same person being told what to do but receiving no help and just left to wait months and months until they might finally send you an email response telling you to come do the whole process again. They ignore you until its to late. this school should be under investigation. To many things go wrong I tell everyone to stay away. To long have I been stuffed around to end up right where I started, over and over again. No support, no trust, no morals. They take your money and run you just become a statistic. I'd love for anyone going through the same issues to reach out legal action should be taken the more people stand up the more we'll be heard. NOTHING BUT CORRUPTION AND MISPLACED TRUST!!!

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. The university itself has no concept of admin organisation or communication with their students. These got my money and the smiling faces disappear. Ive tried but haven't spoken to anyone from the school in over a year. My employer was told I had to complete a years worth of study in 2 months. I've gone to Gordon take and have spent more than 30-35 hours on hold over the last month trying to get my fees back and my academic transcript. Stay away. Don't get pulled in.

For your own sanity stay away from this place, the staff will pass you onto another dozen staff and still not able to answer a simple queries, very unprofessional and a lot of blame games, I've regretted for not reading the reviews first. There is so many other excellent school out there so do your research first, you may have to travel out of your comfort zones but its all worth it. One year course here could end up 3 years as staff is lack of system knowledge and disorganised.

There system of learning is lazy and money grabbing. Elearning modules leave less than desired with missing information. Organisation is very minimal with teachers trying to catch up on lack luster systems that generally don't work at all. This course structure is terrible. Would not recommend.

Staff do not answer the phone. Staff don’t reply to emaila. Administrative staff forget to enrol students in topics and then double dip with fees due to their own error. They charge fees for items and services not provided. Would not recommend studying there due to disorganised staff.

Attended 3 night school classes at the start of 2020 and then went into lockdown. I had to withdraw from the course which I had paid for and they are chasing me for a $150 amenities fee... Cheap scums trying to make a buck wherever possible.

Terrible administration & unorganised staff. Kept relocating our rooms every other day. Rude Instructors that kept changing every month. They have zero interest in student performance. Do yourself a favour and study elsewhere

been on hold to admin for 45mins (so far). had big problems with enrolment and still not sure it has gone through. Not a good welcome for a new student. Not a good 1st impression. fingers crossed it gets better.

As a past student and now employer of many apprentices I speak from experience when I say VU sunshine is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever dealt with.
