Not impressed, I went in to purchase 2 washing machine taps, in case needed, when I have a new washing machine installed. I asked would I get a full refund, if the taps were not needed, if I did not open packets. I was told NO REFUNDS GIVEN, unless the item was faulty, he said they don't cost much to buy? I asked the price, I was told £2.50 each,so he was expecting me to pay £5 on the off chance they were needed. I don't have £5 to throw away. I did not like his manor, found him rude with no customer service skills. He even tried to push past me when I was entering the shop, after he finished his cigarette outside. Won't be going back in a hurry. Shame as they are usually good

This is a total Aladdin’s cave. If you have the question “I wonder if Mogfords will have ...” they probably will. It is well stocked for all your diy projects, pet supplies, gardening supplies and full of great advice. It’s my dog’s favourite shop too, as she normally gets a doggy treat. The stock is if a high standard too and reasonably priced. Update- you can collect compost as a ‘drive-thru’ they pop it in your boot! Amazing service!

Botiga amb moltíssimes coses per la llar. Sempre que he necessitat alguna cosa, l'he trobada. El personal es molt amable i disposat a ajudar-te. Lots of things to home. Always that I have needed something, I've found it. The staff is very friendly and they will help you in every case.

Very helpful and pleasant staff, well worth travelling an extra couple of miles than joining the queue at the Big place on the Retail Park.Only wanted a few things which Migford & Sons happened to have in stock. CoVid19/Mask Wearing/Staff Shielding/One Way System in place.

I love this hardware shop. It is a classic small shop with expertise behind the counter. They sell all the expected hardware at very reasonable prices but also stock bulk pet food and have a back door that you can load your car through. Very friendly and helpful staff.

  • Simon Crouch

Always helpful, knowledgeable and for me the biggest surprise is their wide choice and low cost of items. Today bought an E14 dimmable led bulb - so rare, yet they had it and at the best price I’ve seen. I’m always coming back here for more. Great work guys!!

I Went to buy a drill tip for wood, the gentleman in the counter was so impatient and was annoyed when I refuse to buy a tip for METAL when I needed it for WOOD. I’ve always wanted to support local independent shops but I will never comeback here.

  • Lora Mattheou

Horrible service, rude obnoxious staff. Went to ask for something small and the man was looking at me like he couldn't be bothered and was doing me a favour. If if he was having a bad day that's not my problem. Avoid at all costs.

Despite lockdown (in years you may wonder what that was...!) Paul not only got me exterior paint but offered to deliver it to us. Thank you for staying open and being our go to hardware store in Westbury on Trym.

  • Andy Tolley

Small but extremely well stocked. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Please be aware the shop is small and the isles are tight so adhere to the one way system. This is an old school hardware experience, enjoy it.

  • Stuart Taylor

You remember when it was the 1970's and B&Q did not exist, but you bought your hardware from people who were keen to assist you and very knowledgeable? That's still happening at Mogfords, thank heavens!

  • Mr J

They have (or can get) practically anything in small household 'stuff'. Not the cheapest of places admittedly but it's all under one roof and the money doesn't go into a half-hour of a multinational.

  • George Bradford

Great shop packed with a wide range DIY and gardening items for very reasonable prices (better than Amazon!). Very knowledgable guys behind the counter who will pick out what you need.

  • Douglas Mines

Always helpful, today's inquiry was to obtain a subfloor replacement screw for some old furniture. Query and sale complete within 2 minutes. Excellent service.

  • Luke Hutchison

Whenever I go to B&Q and they don't have it, this place has it... Very helpful and well stocked with the things you'd expect from a hardware shop.
