Soundview Pharmacy the worse! Customer Service is offensive!! The pharmacist is the rudest!!! with replies to customers such as “you are not the only one” or call corporate call whomever you want” these boisterous responses were because medication was not ready after two days of prescription submittal. He does not understand that he works for Walgreens. It pains me to see the elderly population waiting on line or in the sitting area for extended periods of time!!! Because medications are not filled timely. If you were able to get through or if someone should pick up a phone when customers called perhaps customers would wait at home. There were 4 medications called in for me, they gave me 30 pills on one when it was suppose to be 90! I was informed that they have to divide the medication in equal amounts so that everyone can have them! Because they don’t get an endless supplies!! So Walgreens is now controlling prescribed medication!!! In addition we were informed that our medication was noon the phone for hours on end, and your medication is never ready!! The Walgreens that should have closed was this one!! Not the Pelham location!! Perhaps the our counsel-man should see all the complaints on yelp, google, corporate and various other sites, to see the actual harm and inconvenience that this pharmacy causing and the effects on the community especially our elderly. I never had these issues with Riteaid. The moment it became Walgreens and the very first day my prescriptions were submitted I had an issue. You got to love the line “ you don’t have medications called in” so you drive home call your doctor and before you reach your doctor a call comes in saying “we found your medication, it was filled this afternoon” total incompetence or when they gave me wrong medication (pretty dangerous).

When I first started bringing prescriptions to this pharmacy it was great. Super friendly and helpful. Some of the staff is still great and one of the male pharmacist is great too. There is one person in the pharmacy that is super rude and always has an attitude. The other thing they never have one of my prescriptions on time. They have to order it. With that said the good pharmacist finally suggested after me complaining that if I could ask my doctor to write the RX early so they have time to order it. Well guess what that hasn't helped either. I go without my medication an average of it without a week. This has happen also with my birth control and other medications. They don't call you to tell you there is a problem. I have talked to some of the staff and some have been nice but have not been able to resolve this issue. The rude one has basically told me to take my prescriptions elsewhere. I hate to write a bad review because most of the staff is great but between never having my medication and the one rude staff member it kills the whole experience. If it wasn't for the convinience of picking up my personal and home items and being so close to home I would have change pharmacies a long time ago. After today I am seriously considering changing and taking my business elsewhere.

I went to purchase a pack of gym and newspaper with a $50 bill, the cashier did not have enough change so she called the manager for assist. The manager approached us say out loud "I don't have time for this...i have better things to do then be getting change..." I asked the cashier if that person talking is indeed the manager?...and asked that have they heard of customer service?...why does she have the right to speak to a customer like that because a register was not with enough change. I proceeded to ask "it is because its the Bronx? the cashier said, "don't say that...it can happen anywhere". I took my change I left. This situation was unnecessary and unprofessional. A manger of your store behaved in this manner for reasons that were unclear. There has been several comments on Google Review and other platforms - pointing out this unprofessional customer service in this store. I will advice you to look into this - the next customer might be an associate of Rite Aid. This store has been go to and it will be unfortunate to experience such treatment again.

Around 5:45 today, my mom and I went to pick up a prescription that she was told yesterday that was ready for pick up by walgreens staff. When we arrived at the drive thru the lady was very nasty and had a nasty attitude. She asked us the name and the birth date. Said hold on and walked away. Came back five minutes later and asked us the same questions again until she looked at the computer to walk right back inside. Came back and said it's too soon, I said my mom recieved a call yesterday stating that it was ready and she proceeded to say play the message back ....twice I said how can I play a message back if my mother answered the phone. And she continued to go back and forth with me. No customer service, no professionalism. I have never had service like that before and I've been going there for years. I definitely will be calling corporate. No I don't see my self as privileged, But theres just a way of doing things especially working with the public and that wasn't it.

I love shopping at Rite Aid, this one is my favorite location. The store is well lit, always clean. The selection of products, from beauty care supplies to medical equipment is vast and displayed beautifully. You will also find a great selection of seasonal items, also for Valentine's Day and Holidays. I love their Hallmark cards. They also house a pharmacy towards the back of the store. The prices are amazingly reasonable, and you can take advantage of sweet discounts by becoming a Rewards card member. The more you purchase the more points the card accumulates and you reach levels. Right now, I'm a Gold member, so I love the benefits it entails, you'll love it too. The staff is absolutely friendly, courteous and will greet you with a "Good Morning, a Hello or a How are you?"; always displaying respect and an utmost professional stand. Conveniently located near transportation buses, Bx5 and Bx27. Private parking facilities. Highly recommend.

Pharmacy manager Destiana the worst she lied about not having a prescription that was for my child and then when I confronted her I was highly angry and upset she hangs up on me ( because I was yelling after I asked for her name)and I still didn’t know if my daughter’s rx was being processed. Call corporate and I was advised to speak with store manager but he is another nightmare (Mirage ) after a half hour Jennifer from pharmacy was the only person to assist prior to the incident and the only person to apologize for the events. This isn’t the first time being treated be this Walgreens with disrespect and simply poor customer service. However today with the exception of Jennifer who I want to recognize. If Walgreens wasn’t the preferred pharmacy on my insurance I would jumó to CVS in a heart beat. But will have to change Walgreens even if the distance becomes a factor. If you can avoid this place do so.

They no respect customer. I think they Harassment all customer. I’m also harassment from story Ave eWalgreens pharmacy!! I recommend guy’s if you need emergency medicine never been use this pharmacy. I was use this pharmacy for emergency because the one open 11.59pm. 3 times I was harassed this pharmacy i have to also pay for medicine ok I understand it’s not covered from my insurance but my dr gave me pantoprazole medicine they was told me I have to pay $100 dollar!!! I was bought this medicine another pharmacy they was changed me only $10 dollar!!! I’ll never use this pharmacy if I’ll have any emergency situation I won’t use.. I’ll receive another pharmacy next day that’s fine.

WORST customer service because there's none ever available !! Don't bother calling, if you can get someone on the phone !! I waited 1 hour while the phone saying the whole time.YOU ARE NEXT CALL !! 1 hour ,and this is not the first time this happened . I waited in an isle as they called over the microphone: HELP NEEDED IN AISLE 10 ,the whole time I'm watching 3 of them through the window on the door talking and REFUSING TO ANSWER THE CALL FOR HELP !!! LORD KNOWS THERE PHARMACIST is the worst !! I went in asked him if they took Workers Compensation case for medications he said yes !! And then when I went in to get my medications.HE TELLS ME WE ARENT WAISTING TIME CALLING ANY INSURANCE COMPANY ! YOU CALL THEM UP FOR THE APPROVAL NOT US !! AFTER HE SAID YES, we will take care of this !!

Today I went in looking for dog food to not find what I wanted ..but as I was leaving the store I was stopped by security and falsely accused of stealing when I didn’t even steal anything to begin with! Mind you I was literally talking to manger prior to me leaving asking if they had another size of dog food right before this happened. Honestly that’s not how you treat loyal paying customers!!! I have Never been more humiliated in my life!!! So if you have bags with you be ready to be searched ‍♂️‍♂️ . It’s things like this that make me want to shop online rather than go in to the store cause that was truly embarrassing AF!!! To be told your stealing when you didn’t steal nothing and then to leave the store feeling like you didi will be taking this to corporate!

IF YOU ARE GETTING YOUR COVID VACCINE DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! The wait is unbearable and absolutely unnecessary. The women at the front desk are rude and do not do their job, instead they talk and goof off as people are on line waiting to get called. Absolutely terrible service! Please go to the Walgreens in Morrison Soundview Ave for way faster and better service, had I known it would take 1 hour to get a covid shot I would have just walked a little longer to the Walgreens at 1612 Westchester Ave, The Bronx, NY 10472. I took my mother and father there we were in and out of that place in 10-15minutes max. So save your time and dont go here with their rude and incompetent workers.

This store have worst pharmacy everybody complains about their service my doctor sent my blood pressure prescription over on the 12th went the next day still not ready till today 24th still not ready. The pharmacy over is very rude and unprofessional. That’s place used to be when it’s to be rite aid that why the have better review not this WALGREEN if u need to gets your medicine on time better find a good pharmacy not this WALGREEN on story ave it’s a no no you will before you get your medication they need to be checked that’s dangerous to the community especially people who have underlined sickness they will wait and die they need to checked!

You need to take the phone# off your location because it makes no sense, where one can call and be on the line for more than 30minutes. And when you go to the location for your COVID text you are told to queue with the cars in the Drive Through for your text. This is unacceptable on so many levels. Whoever is the manager of this store needs to sit up because there are so many things allowed to happen in this location. You need to train the employees to understand where they are and why they are there. Thank you. Walgreens is my favorite pharmacy, but this experience has really changed my perception about them. What a SHAME.

Before when it was Rite Aide I never had a problem with mine and my families prescriptions. Since Walgreens took over and has had to take on one of their sister stores cause the pharmacist either quit or got fired, and taking on K-marts pharmaceutical customers, the service sucks. The line goes into the main aile, they have two registers, but they have one work the register and the drive through as well. Because of this the line goes into the main aile and almost out the door. The drive through is just as bad if not worst.There is always a line there as well, at least 4-5 cars waiting.

I’ve been A Walgreens customer for over 40 years. Both in New York and in Florida. The service has always been exceptional. The Soundview Ave., Walgreens has the worst service that I’ve ever experienced I am so sorry they closed the pharmacy on Westchester Square they were an example of what Walgreen should be like. They obviously need more help in the Soundview location. Even their phone service is ridiculous. My doctor held on. Over in an hour, just to fill a prescription for me! Please assign more knowledgeable, courteous people to that location

I’ve never been so unhappy with an establishment in my entire life. My husband has been on hold for FOUR HOURS each call two days straight with the pharmacy. It’s been 4 days since he’s needed his medicine which is basically useless now since the reason he needed the medicine is far gone. I cannot believe this is even legal. I can’t imagine if someone just had surgery or something and needed something serious like pain medication. This has been the most frustrating experience we’ve ever had. Stay far, far away from this pharmacy.

So i call the store to get the pharmacy dept. And im on hold for 10 mins. I leave cvs where child health plus is still accepted and i drive to riteaide for them to call cvs and transfer my 5 yr old antibiotics. When i get there they tell me that sometimes they cant hear the page from the front. And now i have to drive back to cvs to pick up my childs prescription. a hr of my life spent driving back and forth from the doctors and the drug store and my 5 yr old in the car feeling sick

This pharmacy is the worst. when refills are supposed to be ready they never are, when is time to pick them up they are not ready and have to wait long time for them. Drive thru service is so slow and phone calls is even worst I has being try for more than 3 days to contact them over the phone and the waiting time is endless to the point I have to hang up. As I'm writing this review I being 23 minutes waiting and still on hold and unavailable to speak with pharmacist.

Did a same day delivery, came to check the status and spoke to a girl who sounded as if it were a struggle for her to formulate a sentence. Poor girl! Anyway she supposedly went to get a manager to assist with this “major dilemma “. Left me on hold for about 5 minutes then hangs up on me. I called back and of course no one answers the phone! So unnecessary! I was actually going to cancel my order. No need to be rude! Especially when you work in customer service!!!

I am very disappointed in Pharmacy Customer Service Department. I was on a called for more three hours plus. From 7:00 to 10:00, tonight. The system kept saying, we are sorry. Our staff are answering other calls. Please hold on and someone will be with you shortly. No one never answered the phone called. They closes at 10:00 the system kept saying someone will answer my called even after 10:10.PM. I don’t understand that. Very customer service.

This store is always understaffed and under stocked. In my opinion they do it because it's the Bronx. You don't see this at the Walgreens in westchester county. Also they need to stop saying that they're 24 hours because many night's particularly the weekend's, this store is closed because they have no security and no workers. It's a shame that this Walgreens feels the people in the neighborhood aren't entitled to a decent place to shop at.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service displayed by the pharmacy department. I was placed on a very long hold with the machine continuously reminding of the number of callers ahead of me. When someone finally answered, the picked up and then hung up the phone. When I go into the location I keep getting the runaround “can I come back after 3” “can I come back tomorrow”. I never had this problem when it was RITE AID!!!

The pharmacy is horrible I went on 8/31 And was told my prescription will be ready Next day which it wasn't. On 9/3 I went and still wasn't ready I was upset and cashier shrugged her shoulders I then ask to speak with pharmacist he Verified my prescription and told me it would be ready I about 20min which it was. I get home one prescription is missing,at this point I will change my pharmacy. This is disgusting!

Worst driver thru pharmacy ever. They make you wait 30 min before anyone comes to the window. Workers are rude and ghetto. I've never seen any Walgreens like this ever in any other borough. It's disgraceful and there's always an excuse why they make you wait so long. I'm waiting as I'm typing. I rung the bell 5 times and nobody has even said we will be right with you. There's a few cars behind me waiting.

Completely unprofessional and DISORGANIZED Pharmacy. I along with multiple other customers were told to wait 30 minutes for prescriptions that should have been there. Then the pharmacy refused to give me my prescription after I showed them multiple forms of insurance and called my doctor. The white Blond pharmacist proceeded to curse at my mother. She best watch her mouth. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN.

I have been on the phone now 1 hour waiting for the pharmacy to pick up. For 40 mins its been 3 people infront of me . after 48 mins 1 person and then a message comes up that they went for a meal break at 6 :25pm . the last few times i called I waited 35 to 40 minutes. Whats going on? what kind of services is this? now after an hour exactly its 3 people I infront of me again. . this is not exceptable.

The customer service is horrendous. I placed an order online and I called this store to investigate why it was late. They pit me on hold for 12 minutes, picked up the phone then hung up. Very unprofessional answering the phone and hanging up. Also talking very quickly, talking over me and stating they are assisting customers while on the phone with me. This store needs some serious structure.

Story ave location. Have not taken my meds in over a week. It's never ready. Their online service does not work. Their custom service lacks. Phones are never answered. People need their meds, they are playing with our lives. Sick people go there and there is no compassion at all. There is a male pharmacist. I think his name is Luk or Loc, very rude. Will be transferring my meds from there.

Cassandra was not following the protocol. instead of asking the customer to input her telephone # to see if she had points or to get points for her purchase. she decides she's going to work the machine for the customer and just take payment and then when I asked., she had the nerve to say "you only get points for sale items" Really! she needs to be retrained on her customer service skills

This is the worst Walgreens location. The wait line is 15-20 minutes minimum, their computers don’t work most of the time and the employees are walking around doing nothing most of the time. They don’t accept a lot of insurance for pharmacies. I got the wrong order more than two times and won’t refund, so placing an online order is useless. Don’t waste your time going there.

Typical box store pharmacy. I was able to do a flu shot here and was taken care of quickly. Line for prescriptions can be long. Not sure if this is more of a reflection of customers or the store , but everything is literally locked up and you need to buzz for help to access everything from deodorant to cold medicine. Stop stealing !!! You are making it so hard to shop!

This Walgreens is always neat, clean and well stocked. There are people to help as long as you press the button in the aisle, but there's still a long line for Rx AND now they actually close down the pharmacy for a half hour between 1-1:30. This makes it worse for customers. I guess a rotation shift doesn't work??? Anyway, this is my only complaint.

The pharmacy department extremely slow... my doctor had to call multiple times and explain to them how to process a medication. They do not attend to customer kindly. Yes everyone is has grips about their jobs, but if you cant handle it then find another job. They cant even process medicine right.

There's a manager in the store with a green mohawk cut, she is very rude. I do not know why she is working there when she obviously doesn't want to be there. She gossips about the customers and is very lazy. All she does is complain she isn't pleasant to be around while shopping at all.
