I couldn’t speak more highly of this team if I tried. We were unfortunately given the horrendous news that our 11 year old baby had a high grade tumour. The vets at Wandin gave us all the options and took the time to discuss with us in depth what each would mean and how we would go about each option. After we decided to opt with palliative care, the team at Wandin regularly took my phone calls answering all of my worrisome and silly questions and always made me feel heard and cared for. Because our girl had a bad experience at another clinic, she became quite anxious and extremely stressed when inside the vet, so when the time came we asked the team to come out to our house to put our girl to sleep, which they were more than happy to do. We had two incredible ladies come to our house and they made such an awful experience something that I look back on as so peaceful, calm and sweet. They gave us the time to say goodbye, they patted our girl and reassured her the whole time and they made the whole experience as positive as possible. She was so relaxed, happy and content during the whole event. Even after our girl had gone the team were so kind and caring- even to the extent of sending out a handwritten, beautiful card expressing their condolences. I am so blown away with the love and care they provided our baby with through her last few weeks and am eternally grateful we chose them as our Vets.

I cannot speak highly enough of this clinic. We are actually not locals in the area, as we are staying the Yarra Valley for my birthday and our 8 month puppy was having a really upset stomach. We managed to get into this clinic and we were seen by Dr Naresh Jeganathan. Overall the entire clinic had the most friendly and caring staff, even when our poor puppy had an accident in the waiting room. When we were seen, Dr Naresh was so calm and caring for our animal, getting on her level, gaining her trust, speaking to her and us calmly and checked her over thoroughly. We were given amazing advice and the steps we needed to take to ensure she recovered. After fasting her and feeding her dinner, we noticed a change in her symptoms and called the after services line. Dr Naresh called us back within 5 minutes, reassured us this is part of her recovering and calmed us down. Such a gentle and generous person and a wonderful Vet. We are considering making this our local vet even with living 50 minutes away. Worth it for care and great service.

Beware!!! As a client, I rang and was told to have my pet birds nails cut, it would be $5.00. Took my bird there three days later. They cut his nails and then told me it was $20.00. When I reminded them of what I was told on the phone, they tried to tell me it was a miss communication between the vet and receptionist. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! and very unprofessional. I refused to pay the extra $15 and they gave in and told me it will only be $5.00 this time and next time it will be $20.00 They also have a sign behind the desk stating $5.00 nail clips for clients pets but they tried to tell me that it is only for dogs, but the sign doesn't specify the types of breeds of pets.

So far I've found the services & cost at this clinic to be very good. I had to unfortunately take my beloved cat to be put to sleep on a Saturday as my usual clinic wasn't open. And they were very empathetic to my situation. I've since also seen them to treat a sick chook who has completely recovered thanks to their expert advice & medical intervention. As they're not much farther from home than my usual clinic I'll continue to utilise their services on weekends and for my chooks.

All the staff at Wandin Vet are amazing! Everyone is welcoming and have been very empathetic when noticing I was distressed after some bad news about our dog's health. The whole team is very knowledgeable, however Dr. Haylee especially has been an absolute godsend for us recently while our Amstaff has had a range of issues. She has gone above and beyond for us, and has been exceedingly patient with our many questions. Highly recommend!

Disappointing experience on Tuesday night when I required the 24hr vet service to assist in putting down a sick pet. Called the number and left a message with the pager twice without a response at all. Very disappointing as Wandin vet was my primary vet with most visits being pleasant ones. Don't offer a 24hr service if you can't provide it. A call late apologising would have been better than no response at all.

My dog had an abscess that had burst on a Saturday night. I rang the paging service as it was out of hours and and I received a call within a minute or two. Took him in and had his abscess drained and a drain tube put in. A big thank you to Dr Eloise for giving up part of her Saturday night to help my baby and puting me at ease. The care shown was beautiful. Highly recommend the Wandin veterinary clinic.

This vet clinic is fantastic, very friendly and value for money. I always feel welcome and have all my questions answered. It's not often i will let a vet take my animal out back for a proceedure but i trust Wandin will do the best thing for my loved one. Covid has been tough and it was great to be able to go in for a consultation and talk face to face.

Dr Naresh is the most experienced vet I have visited in my 20 years of owning pets. He clearly has a passion for his work and profession and it is displayed in his confidence and acumen. You come away from this clinic knowing that you will recommend them to others and that your next visit will result in thorough and best-practice outcomes.

A really great vet. You know you're pet is being looked after well every time. We've been going to this vet for over 10 years with multiple pets. They're genuine people who care about the animals they're looking after. Unlike some other vets who are clearly in it for the money. Can highly recommend this vet …

Best vet ever. All the vets there are amazing, never had a bad experience in our 20+ years taking our dogs here. Moved to the city and still go out to Wandin to see them. They give options for care and always go above and beyond to care for their patients and their owners. Could not speak more highly of them!!

After changing over from my previous vet for 10 years, I find the team at Wandin Vet so professional and warming when it comes to looking after both my Aussie Bulldogs, they are black and white with answering all my questions and there is a no fuss attitude there. So lovely and caring. I have had to have my 18 year old cat and 17 year old dog put down in the last two years and they have been so amazing. The care prior to and after was exceptional. Will continue to go with any new additions the the family.
