Above-average sized bookstore, spread over the ground floor and basement with an eclectic mix of fiction and non fiction. Popular adult and childrens titles are kept in stock with much more available to order in via the phone or in person. The store is located in the heart of the Ealing broadway shopping centre and there is little or no free parking anywhere nearby during peak hours weekdays and weekends. Staff are friendly and helpful and a loyalty card scheme ensures every £10 spent in the store accumulates stamps which can be redeemed against subsequent purchases. On the negative side, some of the copies for sale are a little dog-earred where they have been rummaged through by casual shoppers but overall the best place to find books (outside a library) within the borough.

I was looking specifically for a particular children book. The lady working there was v pleasant and took me to the right section. The shop is situated into the centre part of Ealing Broadway shopping centre, is large, well organised and people serving make you feel like valued costumers. I noticed they had a very good selection of 2020 calendars, a few of them on London and one particularly "London by Lamplight". It will make a beautiful gift and £10.99 reasonably priced

Waterstones is a very reasonable book store with nice prices and a good range of books. Quite a big store where the staff is friendly and the books are normally kept up to date with what's popular. In addition, if you visit the store enough time the prices of books go down. Nice environment. The floor carpeting especially stairs is a bit tatty. Could be some nice bean bags or something in the corners to give an even nicer atmosphere!

Plenty of books but the ideological and political views of the staff are far too obvious. Only one book by the foremost conservative philosophy of our day in the philosophy section (Scruton) and apparently the only suggestions for children permitted had to be feminist indoctrination for kids. It would be nice if at least some attempt at catering for difference (I believe some people call it 'diversity') was taken seriously.

It's been two years that I live in this area and I've never been into this store. WHY? I asked myself when I entered last weekend. What a wonderful place! The kids' area is really well designed, it really enticed my little one (and mostly me)! Even the little toys are amazing (most of them if not all of them wooden). For the adult part, a lot of offers, best sellers, recommendations. This is paradise for book nerds like me!

I always find the staff very helpful in Waterstones, and today was no exception. You only have to ask and they will reccomend books for whatever your needs are. A well stocked book shop with a selection of interesting gifts and games and a lovely selection of cards and wrapping paper. Needless to say, I left the shop very happy today, having bought several presents for family and friends.

Great selection of books and gifts for all ages. Love this place! It has something to cater for anyone! Pop into store to find some special priced books and sale on certain books. Amazing shop with great service! Very friendly staff. Calm and relaxing atmosphere to indulge with your favourite book.

My favourite shop in the broadway by far, I often pop in just for a browse after work, as there’s something about a bookshop which just slows everything down to a better pace! Staff are always helpful and knowledgable, and the store is well laid out and easy to find whatever I need.

Went in with no idea what I wanted to get. The whole team of staff spent 30 minutes helping me peruse classics, horror, fiction, and everything else. Their reviews were excellent, and 'Our Wives Under The Sea' has had me sobbing for the past few days. The staff are gems.

Love books and therefore love Ipswich Waterstones and was quite pleased that I was asked why I was not wearing a mask (had forgotten to put it on) - well done. Not quite as child welcoming and friendly as the Waterstones in Ealing Broadway which my grandchildren love

Love this shop. The staff are very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. They make great suggestions. The shop also offers great ideas for gifts along with cards, that are different and wrapping paper. It is a nice relaxing comfortable experience.

I love this place, I go here for all my books. If they are out or don’t have a book they can order it in for you( but it does take at least a week to get). They can hold books for you ( for a certain amount of time) so no one buys it .

  • Jeanette McIntyre

Fairly good selection of books, friendly efficient staff. Ventilation poor, find it difficult to stay in the shop for longer than 10 minutes. Would happily stay longer, if ventilation was better. Reward scheme is brilliant.

  • Emma Bentley

I popped in last Thursday (5th May), just for "a browse". I left with four books and two bookmarks, and had a lovely chat with the store manager David, who is a real asset to Waterstones. Friendly, professional, and kind.

Although online book shipping is now the normal, there's nothing like spending time shelf hopping here, discovering done new reads, or buying gifts that you may not have known existed. Worth popping in anytime of the day.

I love book shops! The only thing missing in this one is chairs or a comfortable seating areas where you can sit and look at several book options. Shame as I know this would sell more books for them.

Great Ealing book store! A really good selection of books and if they don't have what you're looking for, they can order in and usually takes 4 days to be at the store. I like this book store.

Great place. Was there whilst store staff done a reading for children. Sadly only 2 kids but they loved it. Staff were brilliant and engaging. Keep shopping in bookstores to keep them alive.

  • Oraka Oraka

Nice store, easy to get around, there is a stairs to take downstairs which I did decide to use and I found some cool books on Art and Photography!! (I find hard to find in other places)

  • Poom Settha

Always lovely to go into Waterstones to browse for a book and an interesting gift. Clean and good layout - same as other locations. Got myself a Murakami book today.

  • Alison Thomson

Gorgeous store, really well-stocked. I was given some great recommendations for my 11 yr old son by a very helpful and patient member of staff. Highly recommend.

  • Xing Yu Yi

Comforting atmosphere, great place if you need to find a good book and have a read here and there. Staff are friendly and happy if you need some help.

  • Sam Mir

Good book store/shop. Staff could be more helpful by asking and advising (how it used to be in bookshops) rather than waiting to be asked for help.

  • Claire J.

FINALLY a bookshop where you do not only find the standard book selection :)) I love coming here and always find something really great to read.

  • Paul de Cort

Lovely store with knowledgeable and helpful staff. I prefer to use physical stores rather than online options! I'm happy to pay a little extra!

  • elif aykas

If you enjoy browsing among books written by the authors from around the world... It's the place to spare some of your time...

  • Tony Smith

I couldn't believe they didn't have the book of Have I Got News for You which is heavily advertised. Left empty handed.

  • Angel Limbu

Surprisingly large, massive variety of genres and cute board games and book accessories (book marks, lights, readers)

  • Dhruv patel

Excellent place to visit.. When I entered in Waterstones I was like I'm in heaven. Thousand's of books are available.

  • M S

Asked for a book. They had it in stock, but staff refused to help as more interested in closing the shop on time.

  • Olga Justyna Dragneva

Always liked this place. They have a great selection of books in different topics. Staff is polite and helpful.

  • Federica L

Lovely bookstore for those who are still reading "real books" in paper. Nice selection of books for children.

  • Cinders

Love books, love bookstores wish they had seating, chairs, sofa’s and coffee bars like the stores in the US.

  • George Morina

Good selection of book's, overcrowded with lot's of shelf's, not much space for people to walk around.

New Waterstones looking fresh and spacious. Accessible entrance and very close to tube station.
