I am from British Columbia and now reside in Winnipeg Manitoba. I came in today to change my BC auto insurance to Manitoba auto insurance. I interacted briefly with Milhau who is the “Branch Manager”. Jenseia went over the rates and the coverage options I have. I had a question about my discounted auto insurance premium from BC if it will be applied in Manitoba as well. I was advised that if there is a discount it will be in the system however it could also not be updated just yet since MPI was on strike and had just recently came back operational. I did mention about my colleague who also moved to Manitoba from BC with me and is also somewhat similar to my situation. I do understand that cases are never the same for all individuals and they vary. Milhau advised me that there is no discount rate under my file through the MPI database as I was told initially however Milhau suggested to call MPI and see what they can do at this point. Jenseia contacted MPI and was placed on hold and the wait time was 10 minutes. The insurance office was not busy while we were waiting for MPI to answer the call. Milhau ask Jenseia how long was the estimated wait time and Jenseia said 10 minutes. At this point Milhau aggressively told me that He knows how this system works and I should just wait for the update. I politely told him I appreciate the effort and understand what he is saying but because he was the one who suggested to call MPI I don’t see a problem of waiting since I am a customer just like everyone else. Milhau turned away and shook his head which made me feel very disgusted of how he handled the situation. He then made eye contact with me and I asked him why was he shaking his head in such a manner and he said to me because there is a wait time and that he told me there is no discount in the MPI database for me and I told him he was the one who suggested to call MPI not me and that he is there to provide a service to customer and he should be more professional especially for his age. He spoke over me and was very rude and this is all happening in front of another customer whom he was attending to. I told Jenseia I appreciate all her help and she no longer needed to wait for MPI to answer the call and I will just go ahead and purchase the coverage for my vehicle. She still offered to stay on the phone while processing my auto insurance in case it was answered and I could get an answer from MPI. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with rudeness from people who are in the customer service field. Their job is to build relationship with all people especially if you are the branch manager. Lead by example. Being diligent shows character and how professional you are. I am very disgusted with my experience with Milhau and I hope the owner can address his behaviour. Jenseia on the other hand was very calm, friendly and professional and I am very thankful for her going above and beyond. I will not tell people not to go to this location because it would be wrong to judge the whole team and their work ethics all because of one weak link.

Poor customer service!!! Maybe it’s time for them to hire new ones or maayybee it’s time for the company itself to step up. Been there 2x, staff weren’t great. They were not smiling, when you talk to them they’ll response to you as if they were almost a robot (just poker face). The first time I walked in, the lady who assisted me that day was kind of doubting to call me to approach her on her desk. That felt like unwelcoming vibe for me but I didn’t mind it (maybe because they were just tired). I was lacking 2 docs so I had to come back again. The second time I came in, I walk towards this lady’s desk (not the same person), is telling me I had to come back again because she needs 2 docs of the same address (which I do really have) and still insisting that my docs are not valid. She then asked me what is my address and I told her the incorrect building number but same street address I just moved so I still couldn’t memorize everything and that’s the reason why my bank statement is still in my previous address because I had to wait for the next billing to reflect the current address. And she just immediately rejected me without asking me why or what happened. It’s unhelpful in a way. I didn’t argue with her anymore. I just said “okay. Thank you” and left. She’s just not friendly at all. I don’t know if she’s being a racist or what. Her voice kind of telling me she’s not happy to serve at that moment. I then decided to try to the nearest Insurance company, and found out there that my docs were fine and they accepted it. I hope that these 2 lady/staffs are still doing fine and know those kind of small details because it helps.

This place was terrible to deal with. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. 3 separate representatives couldn't help answer my insurance-related questions, one went as far as to argue with me, and in the end I walked out annoyed & angry. I can guarantee that I will not be back for any of my insurance needs and I highly recommend that anyone reading this do the same. There's plenty of private brokers out there that are owner/operators and they're far nicer to deal with than this place. If there was an option for zero stars I'd be giving them that. I couldn't believe they were arguing with their customers! In this day and age of customer service, you'd think a paying customer would be their bread & butter - but nope, not here! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Could have given 0 stars if i could. Worst customer service ever, mislead the clients by asking for unnecessary documents. Like, who would ever ask for passport to a permanent resident of canada to exchange the license issued from another province. The lady with short curly hair does ask ridiculous questions and according to her, Manitoba is Manitoba and Ontario is part of Canada. Come on lady, Manitoba is also a province of Canada and license from one Province is acceptable in any other Province. And to make it worse, She was actually denying what MPI customer service tells you over phone. She really really needs to learn before she is allowed to serve customers at Autopac. Hats off for these guys..!!!

I recently visited Westland Insurance in Garden City Square and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The staff were consistently unhelpful and seemed disinterested in assisting me with my insurance needs. Despite my attempts to ask questions and clarify my coverage, they were rude and dismissive, which left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the service. This was never my experience prior to the change to "Westland". Overall, I would not recommend this establishment based on my experience. I hope the management takes note and improves their customer service in the future.

Went there today, the staff at front was giving very scary faces like they didn’t want anybody to come there. It’s been 7th time visiting there and everytime they told me to bring the different documents. They were very very very rude to me and my friend. They also told us to go to other autopac. If we had to go somewhere else than why they were sitting there and giving services for autopac. Atleast they should know how behave with people. One man sitting beside the lady didn’t know anything. When we ask him, he said “ask her”. Is this their service? Very very very very veryyyyy annoying.

Being aboriginal with status which makes me exempt for registering a new vehicle. I had all proper documents and was denied service, I don’t want to point the R word. But just down the street at the other auto pac agency, apparently my documents were adequate no questions asked. If I remembered the name of the lady who gave me this feeling why are you even in here.. I’d happily put her name on this review. This is the second time with auto pac agencies, my second new truck where there’s some sorta discrimination against this.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Rupinder Gill, at westland autopac service, and I must say that her hospitality and service were truly exceptional. Her professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. She patiently answered all my questions, provided expert guidance, and made the entire process effortless. I highly recommend Rupinder Gill for her outstanding service and the exceptional hospitality she provides. She's a true asset to the autopac service team....!!!!

Worst place in whole winnipeg. I went inside then they told me you have to book and appointment okay. Then I booked an appointment over email then they told me to message a specific number and they will text me to come inside, I did that too. After waiting 30 minutes i texted again like please let me know if i can be assisted today or no. Still did not any reply nor by email neither text message. atleast let the customer know if he/she can be assisted or not.

Wow, don't bother to call in, it pisses them off apparently. The agent (its the older gent who works there) let out the longest 'dont bother me sigh' before saying hello and speaking. When I asked if I could get some help with a quote, I was told that he cant answer a question because he is with an ACTUAL customer and to call North Kildonan. I fully understand that he was with ANOTHER customer...bud, I too am a customer. Choose another place.

I was in the Reider Insurance location on Leila today. I was there to cancel my insurance on a truck that I sold. I had just renewed my insurance and would have had to pay a higher fee to cancel because of the recent renewal. The insurance agent, Keith went the extra mile for me in that he phoned MPI to see if the fee could be waived. It was! Thanks to Keith's quick thinking and excellent customer service, I saved $66. Thanks so much!

I can't stress enough how helpful this location was. Big shoutout to Palvi who was very knowledgeable and eager to assist. I came closer to their closing and the staff continued to wear their smiling faces. For anyone in the Garden City/ Aurora/Riverbend neighborhood, you should check this Reider Insurance location for any Autopac and Insurance needs. From this visit, they've earned another returning customer.

Went to transfer ownership of a vehicle 10 minutes before closing time. They indicated that the transaction would take 15 - 20 minutes and that they were unable to accommodate as it would extend past their closing time. We were very disappointed as they made no effort to try to assist and were only concerned with closing on time. I wouldn’t recommend them for future insurance needs.

Very bad experience, careless staff. Agent made a big mistake on my profile and now I am wondering from the last month to fix that. Once agent put the wrong name and second time worse than that. How carelessly they work. Her mistake bothered me lot, spoiled my time. Even MPI also need to talk further to fix that. Her one time careless created problem for me.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. The lady that we got was rude and kinda looked like she just wanted to go home. . She lied to use to not help with registration of our new truck. because we went down the road and was 100% satisfied with the sercive there provided with 0 issues registrating the truck. I do not recommend anyone going to that place.

I'm glad I have them and those on Kate st and Notre Dame Ave Bestway insurance rocks also small office bust very fast at what they do. These two are always on the ball even with this guano flu going around, to me they are champs keep on the awesome work

As me and my father were insuring a car and asking genuine questions to the agent we were speaking with, the other agent (older gentleman) who was there butted in our conversation , in a very rude way and tone. Not a fan of this location and I'm not surprised that this isn't the only negative review for the same incompetence.

Gurpreet Lubana assisted us. We just received a violation ticket 2 hours before we visited the westland insurance. So you can imagine the feeling of getting 2 tickets worth $1,400+. Yet He was very empathetic and made things feel lighter. He educated us since we are new immigrants. Kudos to his nice service

They will also find the best insurance setup for your needs. Very friendly staff, been coming here for the past ten years. Highly recommended autopac broker!

I highly recommend Milhau for all your insurance needs. He is very nice, professional and responsive to questions and concerns.

Friendly, quick, efficient service to replace a damaged licence plate. The agent, John, even offered to install the plates on my car. He very kindly came out to my car and changed the plates. He was so very helpful. I appreciated his willingness to help and was very impressed!

Not good. Wrong information was provided. I had completed my class 5-I stage and was told that the new class 5F license will be delivered once the old one is expired whereas i went to another autopac and they requested for a class 5F license from mpi and it came in the mail.

Had the worst experience ever possible with auto pac. I provided him with all the documents and his words were theses are fake and they dont match, but got my work done with the same documents from another location. They dont even deserve a 1 star.

Just recieved great service from Sara, we were registering our new vehicle and she thought to ask and a vehicle we had sold 2 years ago, turns out we had been paying storage on it unnecessarily - she got the charges reversed! Westland is great!
