After a couple times of visiting this particular location, it is time to post a review. Starting off, the store in general appears to only be fitting for entitled people (somebody that I am not). You walk in and nobody greets you. No simple manners whatsoever. Everyone gives you weird looks. From the way you dress, the way you look, etc. Despite this, I kept going until after today. I get to the register ready to pay. I hand the lady (black lady - don't know her name would definitely include) my basket because normally I would go to self check out. She tells me that I need to remove everything from the basket for her? Like ok? Let me not make you tired. Are you not the cashier? You don't get paid for nothing. I take everything out. I was also accompanied with somebody else. I return my basket and get my parking ticket stamped. I was with a relative that needed some assistance with his payment. I then proceed to help him out only to be given the receipt given right in front of my face. I asked the lady if the payment went through, did not tell me anything. No have a good day, no simple thank you, or anything. There was also no contact. She walks away from the register to be swapped with somebody else. I was very close to calling over the manager. Her attitude was unacceptable. This also goes for almost all associates at the location cause they all seem to hate their job. Who is hiring these people?? We tell the lady she swapped out with to go tell her she had an attitude. Don't even know if she told her or if she even cared. Nobody cares about what you have going on!! This is work!! Ridiculous. You spend nearly 200 dollars to be treated like this. Absolutely not. From now on, I am going to spend my hard earned money at publix. That was the final straw with this place. Might I add, you get even better service at walmart. They are definitely not seeing me again.

Where do I even begin ? They got so much wrong at would should be their flagship store . Just go to Starbucks nextdoor if you want a laidback setting with strong wifi signal to get some work done. . At the Starbucks nextdoor you can spend less money , and get friendly service . The padlocks on the outlets is a discriminatory practice , same as removing the benches from outdoor seating area , to keep out middle class shoppers . Does not serve the needs of the professional workers of the community . I was groped in the genitals by the (to my disbelief) general manager . Where do I even begin ? There are so many things wrong with this Whole Foods location, I would think they would make this their flagship store in the Charlotte region . The craft beer minibar in the front of the store is never fully stocked . My bartender took 15 minutes to prepare a draft beer . He wasn't wearing gloves and hands were filthy . To my dismay , there were roaches on the countertop at the bar . And in the aisles ... There was expired food for sale in the produce section . I AM APPALLED and shocked .

There is sometimes an inconvenience when coming to this location. Recently, I called about a product, the lady put me on hold for 10 minutes and forgot that I was on the line, which led her to panic that I had been left on hold and then said they didn’t have my product when I went to the store later and they did. Today, my boyfriend called to ask about custom vegan cake orders and the lady said they aren’t accepting custom cake orders (although in the past I have ordered custom made cakes from this location), so I called myself, spoke to representative from the bakery department and they said they are accepting custom made cake orders. I find it odd that in the same day, two employees give different answers, which is an inconvenience for those of us would like to place a birthday cake order stress free.

I love shopping at Whole Foods Market in Uptown Charlotte. The store is clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of natural and organic foods, from fresh produce and meat to pantry staples and prepared foods. I especially like their hot and salad bar, where I can customize my own meal with different options every day. They also have a coffee and beer bar, where I can enjoy a drink while I shop or relax on the patio. The prices are reasonable for the quality and variety of products they offer. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes they run out of some items or have long lines at checkout. But overall, I think Whole Foods Market is a great place to shop for healthy and delicious food.

Deli staff are really rude. Self proclaimed “Momma of the deli” staff needs to work on her people skills and helpfulness. Even before she decided to start hollering at me from across the store she wasn’t friendly like you get from all the other staff at Whole Foods. Maybe ask questions instead of telling someone you’re going to call the store on me because I couldn’t reach a sandwich and used a step stool the store had immediately to my left. Maybe take the step stool away and say you’d be happy to help if I need anything and to not use the step stool. She had really odd behavior and kept scolding me after I just said “ok sounds good”. That wasn’t enough for her. Well she drove me writing this review.

Yesterday went to get some stuff with my wife and was in the check out line. Everything was fine but somehow the cashier seem to be having either a bad day or didn't want to be there and she gave me attitude went I ask can I put in my number for my Prime membership. In response she rolled her eyes and told you can put it in but it's not going to work. I ignored her and put it in anyway and instead of handing the receipt in my hand she stuff it in the bag with anger as if we did something wrong and still perceived to roll her eyes as if was the problem. I like whole foods but I won't be going to this one for a little while there is one on Fairview that treat customers more friendly then this.

I had an amazing experience shopping at this grocery store! The store was clean, well-organized and easy to navigate. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to answer my questions and offer suggestions. The produce section was especially impressive, with a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables that looked and tasted amazing. I was also impressed by the selection of organic and locally-sourced products available throughout the store. The checkout process was quick and easy, with plenty of lanes open and minimal wait times. Overall, I had a fantastic shopping experience at this grocery store and will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommended!

This is strictly on the seafood section. We bought two dozen oysters today and of which we received about 2/3 of them uneatable or to a point where they should not have been sold to us. It was a severely disappointing experience and we will never buy seafood ever again from them again. Good job to the coffee bar. The only decent thing we had while over there. We got home and couldn’t even shuck the majority of them. We cracked them open like primates and inside were penny size pieces of meat. Sad sad experience. If you don’t have quality seafood please don’t sell us the scraps. Coming from California I expect a higher level of service from Whole Foods.

I drove from SC for an event on Friday June 9. I usually shop at Wholefoods in Greenville SC. I was very impressed with the quality of produce as well as friendly and helpful staff at this location. I am very appreciative to the young brunette gentleman whom helped me in the seafood section around 12:30 pm, in addition to giving me 2 courtesy bags of ice due to my long drive back to SC. I am sorry I did not ask his name. I wish I could give the same compliments for the Greenville SC location but they do not compare. You all are awesome. I will definitely be back when in the area again.

I used to be a loyal Whole Foods customer, but I can’t help but express my disappointment with the changes. First, they got rid of their breakfast bar, which was a great way to start the day with healthy options. Secondly, the hot bar for lunch hardly has any variety now, and the items are far from appetizing. The taste has certainly gone downhill. To add insult to injury, the hot bar prices have skyrocketed. It’s clear that ever since Amazon took over, the quality and value at Whole Foods have plummeted. A once-favorite spot for me has become a place I can’t recommend anymore.

I have always had a good experience at Whole Foods! Today I happened to walk out without one of my bags. I made it to my car and put everything else in, which is when I realized it. I came back to the previous station I was at and Pat, works at Wholefoods, took me to get my bag only to find out, that quickly someone tossed it out. Pat, almost made me workout as fast as she moved to correct the situation. She just genuinely cared to make sure I was made whole and she was very sincere. Every place in life needs themselves a Pat

I'm so glad that I have to drive to this Whole Foods Market. They have every single thing that I need and like from a grocery. I can even receive and send my Amazon packages here. They have multiple food bars for hot food and soup, salad, olives. And the cookie boxes are always full of the best treats, but get to them early. The parking is free and you can validate on the inside of the store at check outs. I have never had to wait long or at all for check outs and they have the latest checkout with Amazon technology.

Ordered food online and specifically asked for curbside pickup on the site. Got to the store and the worker told me I had to come in and pick up my order because she didn’t feel safe. The store is in a covered garage and the pickup parking spaces is directly in front of the store. I’m clueless as to what danger she was in. Totally not professional and the manager just said “oh sorry”!! That S.O.B better be happy I was in an okay mood! Sorry customer service. Well at least for my skin color it was.

  • Amber Bryan

Love this whole foods in uptown. The flower selection is amazing. The meat/seafood workers are always so helpful. While WF is expensive, I check the sales ad online prior to visiting for the best deals. Remember to scan your amazon prime membership for additional discounts. They have the weighted buffet for breakfast and lunch along with the pizza and coffee bar. There is plenty of seating for people who work in the area and are looking for a lunch/snack.

  • J. Nykol

I have to give it a 3 bc they have empty shelves everywhere and the cashier thinks his Amazon prime should be used instead of yourself bc he has another customer in line an don't have time for the one standing in front of him... sir, if I cared to hurry up through the lines bc someone is patiently waiting in line behind me, then I would wait for the store to clear first.... I'm not About to hurry bc a cashier is in a hurry and is still on the clock

  • David Goslin

I've been coming to this grocery store for years and I've never had a bad experience. Really excellent return policy sometimes I'll even forget my receipt and they'll still accept returns. Food is always fresh and delicious especially the fresh seafood and meat. Awesome vegetable selection and tons of foreign items available as well. And at least for me it's in walking distance. Best grocery store I've ever gone to, really really recommend it.

  • BC

I was there first to return a few items before shopping for groceries. The lady at the return desk was the worst I've experienced at this location. She wouldn't handle my returns before she's done processing a truck load of incoming deliveries with another Amazon employee. Thr area is set up for return and pick up and I was the only customer who was there for return! When does Amazon become so bad in customer service?

  • Michael McMahon

They don't shuck oysters at this location, but other Whole Foods do. Lately the guy at the butcher counter is not an actual butcher to cut meats. Please make sure you guys are properly staffed with a professional butcher during regular business hours like the other locations. This has happened twice so far recently where the guy told me he wasn't qualified to cut the meat for me.

  • Felisha T

When I was looking for a vitamin, and a Whole Foods employee was working in that location, I know this to be true because she was putting up new items and talking with another customer, however when I was getting ready to ask a question she let me know very quickly that she didn't work in that area. She didn't even try to help me. This was on February 9, 2023 between 1-2pm.

This place serves fake cooked chicken on the hot line and I ate it which tasted like plastic. I will be reporting whole foods as soon as possible I threw up infected green bile out my mouth and inflammation was in my entire stomach lining. I screamed in pain and agony. This grocery store needs to be put out of business for good. They're really trying to kill you.

  • Olga Andrizhievskaya

Large, new, and clean. There's a cafe/bar, nice dining area, Amazon hub, otherwise nothing unusual, regular whole foods variety of products: cosmetics, vitamins, a bit of toys, clothes and flip-flops, wines, ready foods bar, in-house bakery, and of course produce and other kinds of foods you would expect to see in the grocery store. Public restrooms are open.

  • DivaDazzled Glamour

I want to thank the staff at Whole Food's who not only answered the phone when I called but confirmed my addiction of Muscadine grapes were in stock and available for purchase. I'm from both Las Vegas & NC. During my summer vacations to NC, I always stock up on grapes to take back with me. I'll make another pit stop before I head to back to Vegas!

  • Steven deSteuben

Very clean store with great selection of items. Always enjoyed coming here. It has free parking even though it’s ina parking deck. You take the ticket and they will validate later. I really like the quality of the butcher shop and the meats. Also they have a great pizza dough for making pizza at home. The store was clean and the environment felt safe.

  • Lucky Blackwell

Went there because I was very hungry and all Sandwiches We're Sold out so All I could find to eat in my hotel has Olive Bar and a package of Ham... C'mon people really? Make more Sandwiches... And Straiten up your shelves. The Management needs to get on the Ball and make their Employees do a better job !!! It starts at the top...

  • Erynn Harris

I just experienced one of the most Harsh rudest employees ever I was paying for my drink she just pops off and tells me after I paid for my drink bye in the most obnoxious way ever I will be getting in contact with upper management about this if this how your staff treats customers this isn't a good look not very professional at all

  • Pink Pink

Stayed less than 30 min at the store but was charges $5 at the whole food parking lot. People be aware that you need to pay for the parking. The place is clean, they had couple of sushi selections, it was good but on the pricier side. I like coming here to get the brown cow yogurt. Other than that I would rather shop at Trader Joes

  • Gary Waters

We went to this Whole Foods for either a pizza or wrap. Sadly, no pizza, "due to staffing issues". There were only a couple of wraps available. Although, they did have 3 people working in the cheese area. So, don't go to this Whole Foods if you want a quick meal. Otherwise, they were stocked like you might expect.

  • Dennis

The store is fine but every week - and I do mean EVERY. WEEK. - there’s an issue with the ticket machines to exit the parking deck. Whole Foods does not operate the parking deck, after waiting 30 minutes just to exit the parking deck last week I am beyond caring. On an average week, there’s only a 5 minute wait.

  • Robot Electric

Good Whole Foods, the sushi is great I prefer genii sushi over kikka. But they don’t make inari sushi so I’m giving it a four star. The grocery and produce are pretty good as far as I’m concerned. Pizza counter is better than others since it is self serve, and everything else is pretty normal for a Whole Foods.

  • Bri Amina

I went to try the viral cookie butter latte from TikTok. It was my first time there and honestly it felt like a regular grocery store but when I entered the building it smelled really good. Prices there are a bit crazy but the coffee shop has some decent price on their options. Customer service not bad at all.

  • Clickbait Lyrics

Store was clean. They accept a wide variety of payments, even EBT. The food selections were weird. If your looking for regular food, don’t come here. Read all labels. The seafood dept was nice. I purchased some great sushi. Be careful driving into the garage. As always remember to have your ticket validated.

  • C.M. Conner

Everything inside was great. Outside the gate ate my parking ticket but would not lift to let me exit. I press the help button but no one answered for 5-10 minutes with cars lined up behind me. Customers were upset and I was embarrassed and questioning if will ever return to that location.

  • Stacey H

Amazon associate not pleasant at all. Did not say Hello How can I assist you...put bar code on my item and scanned QR code and not once saying anything. She should be removed from the location ASAP! Her energy not good for this busy location at all. Maybe New York will suit her better.

  • Roland Rose

Whole Foods Market in Charlotte is a great grocery store that offers a wide variety of natural and organic foods. It is America’s Healthiest Grocery Store and has a 4-star rating. It is fast, free, and supports all types of files and cross-platform transferring

  • Kristen Pearson

We love whole foods. We come here for pizza quite often. The pizza slices are huge and you get a discount with your Amazon prime. My 4-year-old loves to be able to pick out and carry his own pizza to the register. He really also loves the mochi ice cream.

  • Sun&Seed

I just had the best vegan croissant at my local whole foods. I enjoyed it with a dark roast coffee; half oat milk & two pumps of caramel syrup. Somehow they were able to keep the buttery taste in the bread without the butter. Throughly enjoyed.

  • Kat Pittman

Stopped to get groceries and enjoy the hot food bar while traveling in Charlotte for the week. Found my usual favorites but was disappointed in the hot bar. Pizza was not great and food seemed old and overheated compared to other whole foods.

  • MURAT T. IPEK

It’s a convenient location. It’s in the city but not on a busy street. So getting in and out is always easy. Parking is free for 2 hours but in order to park, you’ll need to get a ticket while entering the building and keep your ticket with

This whole foods is in uptown Charlotte. It was a little difficult to find. And parking was difficult. I had to go there for Amazon returns. It was the closest one to me. Once I found the store and went inside I was immediately waited on by

Expensive!!!!!! Hot and cold buffet $8.99 a pound. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes it’s not....it depends on which employee is doing the cooking that day. Because it’s so expensive I don’t eat or buy food from Whole Foods often.

  • Janée Bennett

Used to love getting lunch/dinner here and eating in their dining area but they just recently put lockboxes on their outlets (which makes charging my headphones difficult) which seems on brand with the uptick of melanated/brown ppl that

  • Barbara Caplan

Very expensive food market but does have alot that most food stores do not offer. Coffee bar, sushi bar, pizza, bar, hot food/soup bars and fresh bakery. Every cheese I could imagine! Beautiful produce. And an Amazon return center!

  • T Stewart

Delightful and enjoyable shopping with variety of options. Handsome guy at fresh seafood counter packaged my salmon for dinner it was so good it melt in my mouth. Gentleman at the register was very nice, friendly and warm.

  • Susan Antley

Stopped in last night for their pre-grand opening and the place looks great! Wine, beer, & coffee bar right up front. Taqueria. Sushi, salad bar, & hot foods, oh my! This is the exciting new store you’ve been waiting for!

  • Martha Almonte

Love Whole Foods. Just had never been to the Charlotte uptown store before. It is nice, clean smaller square footage than the one at South End. But still great customer service always friendly staff. Wonderful store.

  • Emrich

This is TERRIBLE. You guys literally reduced the size only because people like these croissants. When you guys are going at least be honest once in your lifetime and not worry about money? Smh.

  • Chris Boschetti

Beautiful place, huge selection...a bit pricey...parking, even though its in a parking garage was easy in and out...4 stars only because of the prices...$9.99 for a dozen eggs is ridiculous.

  • Matthew Vivanco

Parking is slim, but don't usually wait long time park, and parking here is validated for up to 2 hours. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. Employees will go out of their way

  • Alana Fu

Great made in store vegan selections: sausage and pepper pizza, fried tofu(non-vegan bf loved it says it tastes like chickn), and puppy cupcake! Only wish they had a compost collection.

  • Pokegemz

Amazing, large grocery store offering all types of healthy options. The food court section is also amazing with tons of choices of hot ready to eat food. The salad bar is also great.

  • Crystal Violet

There used to be one small place where you could sit down and eat now they expanded the eating areas... bathrooms are clean...service is always good. And the checkout line are fast.

  • Brandon Gage

Convenient location, friendly staff, and the store is always stocked. The fresh bar is one of my favorite fresh bars in Charlotte! High recommend this Whole Foods location.

  • Ms. Bentley

Sushi person refused my order. Instead told me what I could not get on my roll, the same roll I have been ordering for years I guess she didn’t like my face. …

  • Raya Castillo

Whole Foods Market is a great place to find organic and healthy food options. However, the prices are high, and the store can be crowded and overwhelming at times.

  • Jenny L.

My favorite grocery store! Besides the pleasant staff, quality products, and lovely atmosphere, my bill is usually far less than when I shop at another chain.

  • Michael Gilliam

Customer service no longer offers Amazon returns. If you arrive past 7PM, when the Amazon desk closes, and the kiosk isn’t functioning you’re out of luck.

  • Rosalie

Never fully stocked. Always missing fresh herbs, asparagus, and many more items. Shelves are often completely empty. And it's an every day occurence.

  • Terry Heise

I have always eaten better than now. The employee 20% made it easier to buy the product. They have the freshest produce than any store!!

  • Karla R.

Nice big Store, the selection of fruits and vegetables is pretty good. They have a food and salad bar available as well.

  • Barbara Caplan
