As a queer person and as a parent, I am SO THANKFUL for this bookstore. Meghan (the owner) always makes time to offer the best book recommendations across a very wide variety of topics depending on what you're looking for. One of my favourite things about Willow are the Story Sales they do on their Instagram page. Basically an interactive flash sale which you can participate from the comfort of your couch. Win/win. Can't say enough about this local gem. Hope they stick around for many years to come.

This store is a total gem. Both the owner (Meghan) and the manager (Megan) are delightful people who are passionate about the books they sell. The space is very comfortable and welcoming, and I look forward to sitting on their benches leafing through the books for many years to come. I am so happy that the Village has an independent bookstore again!

Willowpress is a beautifully curated safe place to shop. The book selection is small but thoughtfully chosen, and the staff are always lovely and welcoming. One of my favourite places to shop in Winnipeg.

Welcoming, educational space! Such an important resource especially in light of rising extremism these days. Thank-you so much for keeping your doors open for all people. You are very much appreciated!

Really gay and epic, lovely staff and great environment. Prices are affordable and fair, good selection, and it’s always clean. Haven’t been there yet though, so I look forward to that.

Hands down the best bookstore in the city. The only place I go for all my books! They even order in books for me that they don't have in store! Truly a magical place ✨
