Windsor Plywood, in particular Mark Vust, has been exemplary in his assistance, expertise, and friendliness. Our plan to repurpose and renovate a loft at our lake home in Ontario to a master bedroom retreat began in May, 2018 and that’s when we met Mark for our first quote. Through Mark, custom French doors, mirrored cupboard doors, maple flooring, doorknobs, hinges, paint, screws, drywall, tape, etc. were ordered and sometimes stored until we were able to pick it up. Windsor Plywood made a custom wood A frame to fit our trailer to secure our fragile load travelling 3 1/2 hours into lake country. All of this was stockpiled in the lake garage until summer, 2019 when the renovation took place. To sum up, we are beyond happy with Windsor Plywood. All of their staff greet customers with a smile and a helpful attitude. We were pleased with quality and pricing. Do not hesitate to ask for quotes whatever size your project. I bought some beams here according to a designer. I was told by a journeyman carpenter and an inspector it was over-designed by one beam. I tried to return the extra one but the manager told me the manufacturer wouldn't accept it back because they couldn't be sure if it had been stored properly. I called the manufacturer and they said they weren't concerned about storage. I called Windsor back and the manager changed his story to they couldn't take it back because it was cut to length, which is a lie as it was a standard length. As someone else wrote here, don't shop here unless you're positive you're going to be happy with what you get because you're stuck with it.

I have dealt with the Pembina location since 1994 as a contractor. They have long time employees on their staff. I have never experienced anything but a good rapport with any of them. The management staff is super approachable and friendly at all times. We know each others on a first name basis from all the business we have dealt with over the years. Anyone near the front door will welcome you if they happen to be nearby when you walk in. I have move away from their location over 5 years ago, but if I happen to need construction materials and I work not too far from there, it is the place that I will go to every time.

Went with Windsor based on their reputation. Composite product and fasteners were wrong and in bad shape. The entire wood order had to go back the employee said it was last 2 2x12 12' they had so ya they were bad. 2x8 treated was a was a 16 cut in half. Contractor said worst load if wood he has ever seen. Zero follow up by Manager even when employee said he would call me. Went to big box store and ended up getting better product. Last time me or my contractor uses them - beware sub par product and no support.

I visit them on Saturday I look at a 6ft Mesquite piece of wood with no price tag. They weren't able to identify it and told me they get back to me on Monday but its probably going to cost $450.Monday came along and they told me it's 850$big disappointment super lame two thumbs down. False advertising.

A good selection exotic hardwoods with the addition of some decent Building Supplies. Some of the materials are quite picked over and if you're looking for really high-end plywood it is not there. Good selection of doors and one of the few places you can get the five by five Baltic Birch in Winnipeg.

Absolutely amazing service and quality of material. The staff member that helped me and my wife (I think it was Ted that is what showed up on my receipt) was patient and super helpful. Definitely would recommend coming here. Also prices and selection of solid woods is quite good as well!

First time visiting this location. Early afternoon Saturday. The store was not busy. I was looking for a full sheet of Baltic birch. There are many different grades of plywood to choose from. The counter staff were very polite. They even offered a hand loading it into the vehicle.

I always have a great experience at Windsor. Great product, competitive pricing and excellent staff. Have bought cedar lumber from them three times for various projects and the experience has always been smooth. Far better quality than you will find anywhere else in Winnipeg.

I went for a deck railing system. The system is called vista railing easy to install and looks great. The sales people extremely helpful work with you piece by piece. The yard guys are friendly and help load up. I like this place for pretty much any lumber or hardware needs

A good place to buy construction material. The guys know their stuff. BUT, if you buy "store made products" buyer beware. They make mistakes. If you try to return or get fixed, then the manager gets mad and then the costumer service is gone. Stay away from manager.

They have nice stuff and were originally mildly helpful but I needed to exchange a few boards that were too cracked or gouged to use and the staff were very rude and literally laughed at me for the entire interaction. I felt this was very unprofessional.

We love this place for their depth of knowledge and their focus on the details of our orders. They are always eager to help with all facets of our projects and they work with us on tight timelines. You can’t get what these guys offer at a big box store.

They are the new Benjamin Moore dealer on south Pembina after Jim's Hardware shut down, but they don't carry a full line of products. Save yourself the trip and go to a full service dealer rather than wait in line to be told they can't help you.

Although the selection is good service is poor there were about 8 people working in the place and all were talking and too occupied to offer assistance. White haired man at the back was too busy talking to a rep from Minnesota and the guys

Claude is so rude. Every time he answers a phone call I cringe. Someone should take this grump off the phones! Otherwise the service was fine. But he definitely sours the experience. Won’t be coming back to this location because of him.

Very expensive . The person in the yard did not know prices of material . This made you go inside which is not good right now. Did not see a lot of social distancing taking place. I left because of that .
