"Too good enjoyed alot "
"It used to be a beautiful park now it's full of rubbish and all the paths by the lakes are overgrown"
"This is my local park"
"Lovely oasis to visit in the middle of busy roads, for strolling, sitting or running"
"Beautiful place full of wonder and fun, my favourite part of the park is the man who sits on the bench shouting at the Ducks, I also like the teenage gangs and their devil dogs who prey on anyone different to them, if you think this place is bad then don't even think about visiting Brookvale Park"
Too good enjoyed alot . Sunset view is superb.Witton Lake is a picturesque lake located in the north of Birmingham, UK. As a large language model, I cannot personally visit the location, but I can provide a general review based on information available online. Witton Lake is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, especially those interested in walking, running, or cycling. The lake is surrounded by a well-maintained, flat path, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll or jog. The path also provides a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife that surrounds the lake. The lake itself is relatively large, and the water is generally clean and clear. Anglers will find that the lake is well-stocked with a variety of fish, making it an excellent spot for a day of fishing. In addition to its natural beauty, Witton Lake also has several amenities for visitors to enjoy. There is a small cafe located near the lake, which serves a range of snacks and drinks, making it the perfect spot for a quick break. Additionally, there are several benches and picnic tables located around the lake, providing a place to relax and take in the views. Overall, Witton Lake is an excellent destination for anyone looking for a peaceful outdoor experience. Whether you're looking for a scenic walk, a place to fish, or a spot to enjoy a picnic, this lake has something for everyone. Its convenient location and range of amenities make it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
It used to be a beautiful park now it's full of rubbish and all the paths by the lakes are overgrown. The crime rate in this park is beyond a joke. If you have children and do t want them mugged, tell them not to walk through here alone. To think people in the 50s used to come to this park as a holiday break. It would have a boat house , play areas, model yachts, and many more events here. Now it's just a dive for drunks and druggies
This is my local park. It has 2 lakes, some trees, a ping pong table, benches & precious little else. Compare with Brookvale Park across the A4040 which has a play area, basketball & 5 a side court, and distance markings along the path so you know how far you have run. I'd like to see some workout equipment in Witton Lakes Park, heavy duty stuff like you see in parks in the Ukraine so anyone can come & get fit.
Lovely oasis to visit in the middle of busy roads, for strolling, sitting or running. There is a picnic area but a bit shaded in my view. The water is well maintained, some rubbish at the edge of water due to be fished out. Its quite peaceful to just sit and watch the animals. Running the lake's circumference is quite easy and the path is clean well maintained.
Beautiful place full of wonder and fun, my favourite part of the park is the man who sits on the bench shouting at the Ducks, I also like the teenage gangs and their devil dogs who prey on anyone different to them, if you think this place is bad then don't even think about visiting Brookvale Park.
Good Park with Lake and ducks ...but not one of the cleanest park in Erdington....People leave their dog poo behind not picking it up at all. You will definitely step on one if not careful while enjoying your time in park. Overall park need maintenance and cleaning.
Love it. Good for a nice strole. Eben better when the weather is nice. Even better if you are a dog owner. I'm not, but I always see dogs going on walks in this park (with owners obviously lol) I can see why as it's a nice decent, walk around the lake.
Love this little park, which I've been coming to for 40+ years... There's always something interesting to see - the different colours of the trees, the ducks and swans and the many people and dogs passing through. Accessible and popular all year round!
It is a very nice area to walk about with the family. Lots of open grass spaces plus a lake to walk around. At times the lake can look really mucky, but it does clear up. There is a table tennis table there but you will need your own racket and ball.
Used to be a nice walk when it was looked after went the other day what a mess looks a bit better now you can see the lake from the bridge god knows what going to happen next if no one bothers at all I remember the good old lakes from the 1960s
Lovely lakes to go around the Evenings are a lot better less people, no disabled parking spaces the car park itself is not ideal for anyone with wheelchairs it's on a slope & driving out of carpark is a pain, Now the lake has volunteers
It's a great place to walk your dog. Clean & naturally maintained. Pathways are even and in good condition for bike riders. Popular place with joggers. There are several entrances. There's seating & picnic tables. No public toilets.
There are safety issues but it's a nice space for walking dogs
Dog-friendliness
Lots of wide open spaces and bins throughout
Picnic area
Benches to sit throughout the park and lots of grassey area and wide open spaces
Lovely to walk around here, there is always someone with a cheery 'Hello' it's just the right amount of walking to wake you up or refresh your day. The only downside are the bits of rubbish that are stuck around the waters edge
What a hidden gem! Mature Scots pine trees and locals were friendly, not much rubbish, shocked I've not been before, will go back. Large place and parking on the main road if you're not local. Good for dog walks ♂️ …
Good in coventry rd but not in startford rd the lady who is managing she doesnt bother the bad fruits and veg had mole on it but didnt bother to trow away and put fresh
Beautiful, well-kept, and friendly community
Dog-friendliness

Lovely park, the water can get kinda gross due to people.. but you know.. just tell them off in public and watch the embarrassment on their faces. :)
Over the years I've been here many times over the years. I learned to sail here with friends. A quiet place for a nice stroll in the sunshine …
Amazing park with multiple tracks for walking/ jogging/cycling. Great views around sunset. They have an ample amount of seats to sit and relax too.
Much like brookvale Park, whilst the weather's nice, it's the perfect place for a leisurely stroll around the lakes, take ya dog, and the kids.
Just had a voluntary clean-up! Definitely worth visiting the natural beauty of the place. Best times are when the sun is setting or noon time.
Witton lakes (naturally occuring filled by brooks) which before 1880 were drinking water for Birmingham, yuck! Lots of swans, no model boats?
What a lovely walk. Great to see cormorant/Swans and ducks. Felt safe. Lots of people exercising or walking with family. Wheel chair friendly
Lovely place when suns out kids love riding their bikes around can even stop to feed ducks as there always up front waiting for food.
A lovely place to visit with great walks, lovely calm environment and great even for hide and seek behind trees as you are walking.
Calm, tranquil and never crowded park with a huge lake. Great place to be bring the family for a picnic or even to feed the ducks.
Ok it's ok plenty off ducks and swans knocking about but having said that could do with a bit off a clean up the dog injoys it
Free day out. Very relaxing. Plenty of benches. The lake has many varieties of wildlife. A must go for a family. Its free.
Love an early morning walk around here. Pretty much 1 mile around the two lakes and 1/2 mile around just the larger one.
Nice park, easy to get around. Good for walking your dog and bike rides. No kids play area, nice spots for picnics.
It's great for a walk around the lakes. Unfortunately there is no playground for children anywhere in the park.
Excellent walk, run or cycle and you can meet some pleasant people there. It's always immaculate and clean too
It's lovely and well kept volunteers working hard giving their time ,lots of bird's wonderful place to chill
Very picturesque and beautiful to walk through. Great short cut from stock land green to king standing.
It's a bit dirty with litter and prone to bad behaving kids . But apart from that its goood for a walk
Its ok, seems to be more for ducks and passers by. Nice place to meditate or for a quiet picnic.
Lovely local park. Plenty of room to walk around, distanced from everyone else. Beautiful lakes.
Good place for walking and cycling. Council need to spend some money on fencing and cleaning.
Nice place... Nothing much relaxing of listen music under this beautiful green place. …
Lake needs cleaning and people need to clear up their dog mess. Other than that it's fine.
Nice park. Has a bad reputation for crime which is a shame. Nice cafe with friendly staff
Good tarmac for rollerblading and that is great! No fishing rule and that is bit sad...
