I took my senior cat and had a check up for a cat that had panleuk. The vet tech seemed uninterested and exhausted just one 1 hour into their opening. I said I would like blood tests for both and explained my kitten’s panleuk situation. She quoted me and I told her I had coupons for 1st visit and nail clippings. Although she was able to remove charges on her end (I saw her do it because she was racking on things before I even agreed to have them) she said I needed to tell the front when I check out. From there it was just constantly reminding them who needed what. A big issue is when it came to weighing them. They got the weight of my senior cat right but my kitten who had panleuk so I’m of course going to be concerned when her weight came 2 pounds lighter. I told them I didn’t think that was right. The others is Right but that would mean she lost 2 pounds in a few weeks. They ignored me. Same when the vet came in, I explained the duration and she said “yea she doesn’t seem like she was that light” WEIGH HER AGAIN WHY WOULD NO ONE WANT TO VALIDATE THIS?!?! (I got home she shes 12 pounds btw. The senior cats weight was correct) asked the tech if my kitten is going to get her blood drawn to check her levels to be safe, she said she thought I wasn’t going to do that but will tell the vet. At this point I was done trying to get anything else because they would likely just do the wrong thing since they had to be reminded throughout the way who gets what and the lack of care in general. I get to check out to find that you can’t use the nail trim coupon without buying a bath and you can’t use the nail trim with the 1st visit coupon. Why, in the multiple times we discussed pricing in the back was I not told this? I drove further because this place shows to be recommended if you have cats. I’d be hesitant to return with just one pet but DO NOT come in with two. You will have to monitor the entire situation. EDIT: I told the vet I was advised not to give my cat a fvrcp shot and it was strongly advised that she get it. My cat has been acting off since not eating but a few bites. It’s been 5 days with diarrhea starting yesterday and the same stool from when she had panleuk appeared today. Driving the additional distance to see her old vet at the cats meow.

June 7, 2021 DFW If I could give a ( -3 ) minus three stars, I would. We had a great Vet, and we liked her, but she moved further South from here. The Vet they replaced her with was not very good. Maybe Not in the Top graduates of her class. The staff is so so.. some are good. But, Some are rude. The Vets are VERY GREEDY and look to EMPTY your pockets for EVERY visit. They RUN like CRAZY to CHARGE you, but for a $45.00 credit, it took them ALMOST 6 months time to RETURN it to me. And it took multiple emails and the threat to sue them to get a check from them. I had my Rottweiler there for Chylothorax tapping. They billed us almost $700 and the Vet could not even finish the procedure, and they still wanted to bill for Unsuccessful procedure due to incompetence. So we STILL had to go to 24 Hour Emergency Vet at VEG Alliance ( by the way they are EXCELLENT Doctors and Techs there !) Also Brooke Losack, DVM had the nerve to say she should be euthanized. That was last fall. And the last straw. We did not want to be there anymore and we have a new Vet. You can take your chances with them, but after our HORRIBLE experience, we had to move on. It's terrible that a Vet looks at you like a walking ATM to Bill your pockets empty.

**Edit from 5 to 2 stars** We originally really liked this vet, and while the staff remains friendly we now realize they are very money hungry. We took our dog in some some symptoms and they sent us home saying nothing was wrong, call them back shortly after getting home saying the symptoms are definitely happening and they said bring the dog back in but we would need to pay another appointment fee. I would understand if we were bringing the dog in for another checkup, or the next day, or even for new symptoms but when we were just there for the same symptoms and you told us nothing was wrong then you tell us to come back and pay again that's just greedy. Left a bad enough taste in our mouth to find a new vet next time we need one. Original review: Excellent first impressions! Everyone we met was very nice and loved meeting my dog. The doctor was on time and very quick with the tests and diagnosis. The fees were very reasonable compared to my last vet (I had apparently been wildly overspending on vet services!) All in all great first impression and we will make the drive to this vet even after we move a little further away.

We recently adopted a rescue dog that had been horribly abused. Dr. Gerrard and Dr. Carroll have been persistent and exacting in his care and he is recovering despite abysmal odds of survival. I love the fact that the vets take their time with this frightened and angry dog. They sit on the floor with him at the start of every visit and feed him treats to coax him to them instead of forcing him and scaring him further and each visit concludes the same so that he leaves on a positive note. They are clear in advance about treatment options and associated costs and are always willing to develop a treatment plan that fits your budget and beliefs. Never any guilt to try to force you to expensive treatment plans. They also have extensive hours that extend into the evening on weekdays and are open Saturdays which makes getting your pet into the vet much easier and can eliminate the need for some expensive ER visits. This will be the vet for life for our 3 cats and 1 dog. We just wish they took exotics so that our ferret would have the same great care.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't say enough good things about Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital. I've been coming here for 3 years. Dr. Ken Slough and his team are absolutely incredible! I've truly never experienced such thorough and attentive vet care. Regardless of whomever you interact with, they all have one goal in mind, making sure your pet gets the best possible care. Dr. Ken Slough is knowledgeable, kind, professional and clearly passionate about his work. He took the time to follow up individually to check on my English Bully after surgery and make sure she's doing okay. Stacy is amazing, she treats my dogs like family! I've already referred friends and family to this clinic and will continue to do so going forward. Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital is a shining example of what all vet clinics and hospitals should strive to be! Thank YOU for everything you do for Diega and Parker !

I highly recommend this team to help care for your pets. They always took exceptional care of my sweet cat and helped educate me along the way. From the front desk, vet techs and veterinarians, we had positive experiences each visit. They were always available when I had questions and they always returned my calls promptly. They made it easier to keep her comfortable during her last days after her terminal diagnosis. Cera, one of the amazing team members there, always made an effort to attend our appointments and was there for us as well when it was time to say goodbye. I'm thankful we found such a great veterinary office with such dedicated staff. Whenever we decide to expand our home with some more furry family members, we will be sure to return there for our veterinary needs. Thank you for everything! (PS- my apologies for the delay in making this post)

My mom tried to take a baby kitten that had been run over and was suffering here to be put down. It was literally crying in pain. They wanted her to pay $200 to have her take ownership of the cat before they would put it down. The poor cat suffered until it finally died in her hands in the car on the way to a real veterinary clinic. Please, if you love animals, don’t take them here. If they can treat a suffering baby kitten this way. Imagine what they would do to your beloved family pet. Places like this should be shut down. For the sake of every animal in its care, I hope they do soon. Update: The Vets office reached out to my mom. They assure her this is not their policy and are working to find out why it happened. It doesn’t make the cats painful death any better. However, hopefully this will never happen again.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital has been to us. Dr Slough is so patient and SUPER nice, really taking the time to explain what is going on with our pet. He seems to sincerely care about animals and makes sure he thoroughly assesses their immediate needs. Dr Loter is also wonderful in much the same way. Though we have never met Dr McCutchon or Dr Withrow, I am sure they are also awesome veterinarians. Our beautiful cat Sandy died two years ago and we just found Tiger (a stray) and would never take him anywhere else! Ashley, Abby, and all of the front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. Every vet tech seems to really love animals and enjoy their work. If you chose to have a pet, you really need to take care of it and this is the place to go.

They used to be a practical, good place to take my dogs for care. They were extremely gentle and helpful during the euthanasia of our 14 yr old pet. However, recently, it seems theyve placed value of money over practical medicine - meaning the will make dramatics out of nothing and charge an arm and a leg for basic stuff. Unfortunately, I am on the hunt for new place now. One thing in specific that ruined the relationship aside from money- they gave a “hydration shot” in my dogs back, who was not dehydrated btw, was eating and drinking but had diarrhea. Well, this huge bulge of liquid was absorbed but left a hard cyst in my dogs back. The vet came across as a dirty salesman trying to take advantage of the situation quickly deciding to just stick him with this liquid shot he did not need.

Sometimes having a rescue dog with social problems is scary, and going to the vet is one of those times. When I first brought my pit bull rescue in, I called ahead and explained that he didn't have any manners yet. They understood. I arrived for my appointment and a tech got us into an exam room before my very nervous 80 pound ball of energy caused any kind of disturbance. Their unconditional love for my dogs is priceless and the range of expertise this practice has is remarkable. From the oddities of tiny doggo eyeballs to the mysteries that come with caring for rescues, I feel like they have me covered. And of you ever see an enormous land shark in the waiting room looking very interested in you, don't worry. He's learning his manners and he just wants to make new friends.

First time visiting this clinic as we are new to the area. We have a Boston Terrier and not all vets are well rehearsed in dealing with flat faced breeds, so we are always very particular about who we let see our dog. Called to get an appointment and it was quick and easy - even got in the same day because of their great extended hours. My dog was having an allergy issue and the staff was kind, understanding and listened to my concerns as well as taking exceptional care of my dog. Staff was personable and followed up three times to make sure everything was going well with the treatment they provided. We are adding another dog to our family in the future and without a doubt, we have found a fantastic vet for our pets. Would highly recommend!

I am new to the Keller area, I just moved to a new house and my dog Pixie was limping on her right leg, I got worried. I called Woodland Springs and they gave me an appointment right away within the next hour. When I got there, they took Pixie right in, they treated her really good. My dad and my 7 old month son waited for me in the lobby and the receptionist were very attentive towards my baby needs. They weren't bother as my son just found his voice he yells at times. I was very pleased with the service, Pixie got better and was able to rest through the night with the medication the doctor prescribed her. The next day they called me to see how Pixie was doing. Definitely and without any doubt I have chosen the best vet for my dog!

My fur babies Houston and Moose have been going to the good folks at Woodland Springs now for 6 years, since we moved here. Dr Loter is their primary however I am comfortable with all of them. The staff are so kind, and even the big ox Houston feels comfortable with them. I even use them to watch my babies when I go out of town. Great Veterinarians, Great staff and they even file all my insurance paperwork for me, and I know they are getting the best care possible.Convenient hours Highly recommend them for everything from nail trims, to overnight stays and general wellness care . Been fortunate that we have not needed serious treatments, but I know they would be in good hands should they need it.

Brought my 9year old Mastiff here. He has always acted aggressively with vets so all other vet required me to muzzle him. The issue with that is we were visiting due to complications with his mouth and Mazzling made it worse. This vet did the same at first(i suggested it) but they realized that he may just be owner aggressive. They separated him from me and he did great without having to be muzzled. They are the first vet in almost 10 years that try this method. Not even I was aware that might have been the issue. I am so grateful for them and he can get the proper treatment now. I will be a loyal customer and client to them and my dog will always be there patient. Thank you so much

  • Anna Maddux

The people who work at this clinic are amazing vets AND people. I have been taking my dog here for a few months now and Dr. Carroll is great. I feel comfortable taking my dog here and trust that he receives the right kind of care. I never feel rushed when I have questions to talk to the vets about. Today we brought in our cub scout group for a quick tour and to ask Dr. McHutchinson some questions about what it's like to be a vet. She was very patient with the boys and answered all of their questions, and made the visit interesting and fun for everyone. You can tell they are all such kind people in addition to being animal lovers! Thank you for everything you do, WSVH!

  • Shawn Robinson

We were in on a Monday night with a very sick miniature schnauzer. We were relieved to find out Dr Withrow has a special love for miniature schnauzers. Unfortunately she does not show that same level of compassion to their owners. When we could not afford the surgery and asked if there was anything else or possibly a program for people in financial distress, we were advised no, the only option would be euthanasia if we loved our dog and didn't want him to suffer. That is the option we took only to find out later about the angel fund. I would recommend going anywhere but here if you want to be treated respectfully by the vet.

  • Michelle Nemeth

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing these people are. A few years ago, my baby girl, Vivianne, was hit by a car. The vet we were using at the time couldn't see her, so we came to Woodland Springs. Dr. Slough saw her immediately and provided the most amazing care. Vivi made a full recovery, and I credit that to Dr. Slough and the team at Woodland Springs. They were so supportive and encouraging during one of the worst days of my life. We have been coming to them ever since and each visit we receive the same great care...and Vivi always leaves with a little treat! I would recommend Woodland Springs to anyone!

  • Katharine Ellis-Copen

I have been a regular customer with my three greyhounds and a saluki at the WSVH for a number of years. I am very picky about my vet care and have not been satisfied at a number of clinics in Texas prior to becoming a client at Woodland Springs. The front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. They know my pets and are happy to see them. The vets are great. They take time to explain any diagnosis and/or procedure and have the best at heart for my hounds. The hospital is also very convenient with evening hours, a rarity in the business. I recommend Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital to all pet lovers in the area.

  • Chantal Mills

This vet may cost a little more than others nearby but it isn't by much and it's very worth it. We had to do the hardest of hard and let a furry member of our family go to her final resting place. They were very respectful and considerate of our bond with her and made it a much easier process. They gave us enough information to make the right decision for her without pushing in one direction or another. They currently take care of our new furry family member and he's actually more inclined to fret a trip to the groomers than a trip to the vet. I'm very pleased with everyone here, office staff and the doctor!

  • Ashleigh Adams

I have taken my dogs here a couple of times. The woman at the front desk was beyond rude. I told her I wanted the minimum required vaccinations and that was it. Then she kept trying to add on lab work for $200 per dog and other non-required procedures. I finally told her that while I love my dogs completely, they are still our pets and do not require $200 of labs. This office is completely and utterly concerned about $$$$. I told that woman that day how incredibly rude she was and that I would never step foot in that facility again. I intend to keep my word on that. There are far better facilities out there.

  • Brandon Williams

Called to schedule a kennel stay for my dogs as one of them was having diarrhea and we were house hunting. Was told there was a kennel available for my dogs over the phone by one lady, but when I got there 5 minutes later I spoke to a different lady that, once I explained my dog was having diarrhea and etc she "checked" the computer and said they were all booked. (5 minutes later? Come on) I suspect it was because they didn't want to have to take care of her diarrhea. Luckily Preston Animal Hospital was open and available so they gladly took her for us (oh and she never had diarrhea with them either ).

  • Linda Csiza

We have been using Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital for the care of our multiple fur children for years. The staff is kind, empathetic and courteous. The doctors are all very knowledgeable and empathetic to the needs of our pets. This practice emphasizes health promotion and wellness and offers a great wellness plan. This means our dogs receive at least 2 visits per year helping us to maintain a great state of health. We also are always able to get in to see one of the doctor's in a very timely manner in the case of illness. We will never go anywhere else. We feel like they are part of the family

  • Jodi Ouellette

I have been seeing the doctors and care team at Woodland Springs since I got my puppy in February. They have been amazing. Every time I call, they already know who I am and have my puppy's records easily accessible. They are very accommodating and kind as well. They can answer all of my questions and provide the best advice possible for my puppy. I have never felt pressured into any treatments or procedures, and they always ensure that our visits are as stress-free as possible. Everyone is so kind to my puppy and always gives her love and treats when possible. I look forward to continuing care here.

  • Sarah O'Shea

I was very impressed with this Hospital. I arrive 20 minutes late expecting to get a little bit of attitude but I was greeted with friendly faces. I bought in a very pregnant and very emaciated Foster mommy dog and she was treated very kindly by the staff. This included the reception, the tech, and the doctor. The tech in the doctor took great care and were very gentle with my foster dog. They went above and beyond by sending home lots of literature regarding helping the mama during the birthing process and caring for the puppies once they were born. I would highly recommend this place.

  • Piper O’Dwyer

Brought my cat in back in January. He was just having some eating issues and I brought him in because I wanted to make sure he was getting enough sustenance. They were ver expensive and didn’t help us at all. Not cat people. Gave us expensive food that he didn’t eat, said it was behavioral even though we came in asking to put him on an IV because we thought he wasn’t getting liquids. He sadly passed about a week later. It could have been avoided but wasn’t because they were useless and didn’t help whatsoever. Do not go here. If I could give a zero I would. I am so beyond angry and hurt.

  • Geneva Rodriguez

Woodland Springs has the kindess most understanding staff, that work with you. Their plans are more affordable than others but with top rated treatment. The staff is very human and genuine when discussing options. I'll also add they are very transparent with pricing and explaining line items and what they are for in a clear way. Great treatment and Vets that do all they can. The front staff are so warm, friendly, and make me laugh and every guest that walks through their doors. Your fur baby will be taken care of here. I hope to be with them for a long time. Can't recommend enough!

  • Ronald Price Sr

We have been going to Woodland Springs for several years. We ended up at Woodland Springs because one of our boys became sick and the location we were going to didn't have time to see him. Woodland Springs took us in wright away. We found pout that he had cancer. Dr. Ken took care of him to the end. Sense then we have brought all our loved ones to Dr. Ken and his wonderful staff. They have taken good care of them with respect and kindness. All the personal are easy to get along with and the care they give our boys is top notch. I would recommend Woodland Springs to anyone.

  • Janet Collins

Just moved to Ft Worth/Keller area and needed to find a new vet to see my dog for a hurt paw. They got me in the next morning since not an emergency. The front desk was courteous and didn’t mind cleaning up my dog’s mess from his bloody toenail. The vet and vet assistant were friendly and caring. Prices were reasonable and I felt my dog was well taken care of. They even followed up a day later to check on my dog. I am glad to find a clinic so close to home, reasonably priced and with evening hours Monday-Friday. I look forward to a long relationship with them and my dogs.

  • Christi Lane

First thing Saturday morning my older baby woke up very sick. I called several vet offices and everyone said they were booked and wouldn't be able to help. Woodland Springs told me to bring her in and they would work me in. As soon as I arrived I had a room. They were very polite and helpful. Since she is old I thought this was the end for her. I was so happy someone was willing to see us and help. I will be moving all 3 of my children to this vet office. Thank you guys for being there in one of my most frantic and scared times and taking really good care of my baby!

  • Berks

I have no problem with the vet techs, but the front desk agents and the doctors themselves leave something to be desired. Our last visit we mentioned a chronic problem that had been resurfacing and we were completely ignored. Fast forward to when the problem persisted and got worse, we finally got in and only then was the problem addressed. We were prescribed three medications as the infection has gotten really bad, but i am a bit skeptical on if this could have been prevented if we were listened to earlier. I don’t really recommend their services.

  • C W

We've brought 3 dogs to 2 doctors here. They are professional and knowledgeable. They usually try to upsell but it's no pressure. The last time they gave me an estimate for teeth cleaning. She said they needed it but didn't act like it was the end of the world if we didn't want to do it. They will let you know if there's a rebate on meds that you are ordering. And the desk staff is friendly. My last appointment they were running really late but it hadn't been like that before so maybe something came up that day.

  • Melissa Forbes

While Doctors Loter and Johnson are the best, I’d also like to give a big shout out to the entire staff at Woodland springs. Everyone that’s played a hand in the health and well being of my Brussels Griffons have gone over and above whether it’s getting back to me on something, finding an answer even if it’s not straight forward, or just plain being polite and good listeners! Special shout out to the wonderful ladies at the front desk that give all the lovies to Chuck and Heidi - we appreciate you so much!

  • Aaron Rose

Knowledgeable and caring docs I’m sure. But don’t go there if you have an urgent need. We suspected our dog had broken her paw and needed help - the front desk insisted that working us in 10 days later and warning us that the first priority is updating immunizations (1 month expired) was the only option. We went to another vet in the area, confirmed the broken paw, got a cast, pain medication, and treatment plan and back home same day. I’d consider this vet only for things that can be scheduled far in advance.

  • Lisa Still

I have been taking my babies to WSVH since they opened several years ago. They are an accredited AAHA facility which is very important to me as a healthcare professional. This proves that they strive to give the best care possible. The customer service is wonderful. When I first went to them, I had a dog that had horrible allergies and other health issues. They were wonderful for him and kept him comfortable through his life. I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful they are. I will not go elsewhere.

  • thetrentfamily

Love the staff and love the doctors! We moved here from Atlanta, GA two years ago and needed a new vet's office for our two dogs. It is always a positive experience when we go in there. It is a calm atmosphere and compared to the prices we paid in Atlanta, quite reasonable. Yes, they offer their suggestions as to how to best care for our pets, but isn't that what one would expect from a good pet doctor? They are looking out for the best interests of our pets. Keep up the good work!

  • jess krantz

Thank you Tom for taking my frantic calls when I knew something was wrong with my dog Piper Ann and for squeezing us into the schedule. Thank you Dr Johnson for immediate action and always knowing what to do. The communication between Woodland Springs and the ER were seemless and made this terrible situation so much better!! Piper Ann is home and resting after surgery. The staff is always great under any circumstances weather in person or on the phone! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • Cole Owings

We have been taking our 2 babies to Woodland Springs Vetrinary Hospital since we moved down here almost 3 years ago. Now we rescued a third dog and would not trust anyone else with our furkids. Dr. Loter is great with all three. We have only seen her but o hear great things about the others as well. We bought a house near Eagle Mountain Lake so we have a 30 minute drive to get to them but it's worth it knowing our dogs are in great and loving hands.

  • Jose Arellano

Really caring people that help and try to explain issues. Very friendly staff and clean offices. The pricing on services is a bit higher than other vets we used when living in Dallas, maybe less competition or just the area. You should certainly take that into account and maybe call ahead and ask for pricing/quotes to know your good on your end. All in all I would recommend them for the great customer service, and how professional they are.

  • Erik Wingfield

We have been taking our sheepadoodle Otis here since he was a puppy! We put Otis on their extensive puppy plan, which helped us pay for and plan his check-ups, vaccinations, and eventual neuter! The veterinarians here are great. They take time to explain each procedure and are transparent with all procedure costs and expectations. The staff is friendly and always great Otis. We would recommend any new dog owners to come here!

  • Cathy Vega

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I trust the doctors advise and know my dogs will get gold stamp standards at WSVH. The staff is courteous and kind as well as the veterinarians. Maeve my great dane loved the treats she was getting during her welness exam. The cost for service is well worth the quality of care provided. I received email reminders before my visit which was very helpful. Keep up the great service!

  • jorge menchaca

My wife took my dog at 2 o'clock today and called them ahead of time and told them that she'd need stitches for a wound on her face. When she got there they said that they couldn't do it because there were too busy. Keep in mind that they close at 6. Very disappointed on the vet we've been taking our dogs for years. We are appalled by the treatment we received and can no longer recommend this veterinary office.

  • Alicia Dendel

We've used WSVH and Dr. Slough for the past six years and have been very pleased with them. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They recognize our dogs and our dogs love them! WSVH provides great service and they excellent office hours. They are open late many nights of the week, and we've had to make a late evening visit a time or two. It's very reassuring to know they are there when you need them.

  • Lisa Barrera

The team was wonderful. When my cat got sick on Christmas Eve, I was concerned about being seen anywhere. The staff was friendly and quick. But most importantly they were kind to my cat and kids who were worried. I was pleasantly surprised on how affordable treatment was. And they even recommended a follow up visit at no additional cost. And today they called to see how my cat was feeling. Great place.

  • Marc Welby

The quality of care is good. No complaints. But these guys will try and extract every single dollar out of your pocket that you have. 2 dogs…updates on shots. $700. Nope. It seems like there’s an upsell on a lot of things here. They’ve gotten worse about that over the years to the point that I will probably have to change vets, even though I don’t want to. It’s frustrating.

  • Amber Boudreau

These guys are awesome! Very reasonable prices, I was able to get a same day appointment, the building is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. I really felt like they cared about my dog. I even got a follow-up phone call the next day checking on how my dog was doing. We have found our new vet and definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a good vet office.

  • Janice Lee

We are new to the area and had to find a new vet. The staff and Doctors are very nice. They usually get us in on time for our appointments and are very caring. The practice is clean and they always offer water. Their medicines are a bit pricier than what we are used to but they are more than willing to write a script so you can have it filled elsewhere. I'd recommend them.

  • Amanda Martinson

We had a great experience with this place. We spent quite a while looking for a new vet after moving to the area, and we're so glad to have found Woodland Springs. We took our 7 year old shepherd mix to have a lump checked out, and not only did we get fast results, but the staff was so sweet and actually contacted our previous vet to get our dog's records.

  • Michael Osborn

This is easily the best experiences I have ever had bringing my dog to a Vets office, we did have one issue while there not related to the health of my dog however the staff was amazing and handled everything in a consice professional way. I couldn't be more happy that my friends recommended this team with the care of my dog. I will not go anywhere else.

  • Carol

I absolutely recommend this veterinarian to everyone! I have had nothing but the absolute best service from the staff and Dr. Slough! I can't say enough about how they treat your pets as if they were their own. My 3 boxers love going! Please trust me....if you are looking for a top of the line vet visit Dr. Slough and his staff you won't be disappointed!

  • Todd Fletcher

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I wasn't a client before yesterday and they were able to give me an appointment on short notice to tend to my dogs final needs. They not only showed me kindness and compassion, but more importantly, they showed it to my dog of 12.5 years. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in that situation.

  • Pamela W.W.

I took my Fur Baby here in an emergency and although she didn't come home with me, the Doctor and staff were so wonderful during my time of grief I knew I bought her to the right place. I recommend this place to all who love their animal babies. They not only treated her with dignity and respect but they were a great comfort to me.

We have used Woodland Springs since we moved from Ohio. From Cats with severe allergies to a rescued dog with heartworms and through the loss of several dear companions the Vets and Staff at Woodland Springs have been fantastic! Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate and kind. We (people and pets) Love going there!

Our family LOVES WSVH!! Everyone there treats you like family. They listen, ask questions, and don't hesitate to share their knowledge with you. Each and every one of our fur family has been treated with the utmost care, tenderness, concern, love, and superior medical attention. We have never thought of going anywhere else!!

There is no other place for my girls. WSVH takes care of al my girls needs. From wellness visits, sickness, dental even day boarding as overnight boarding. From day one I have been impressed with the level of service and care provided. My oldest girl will be 3 in April and has been coming here since she was 8 weeks old.

After looking for a new vet for over a year, I have finally found home! All the vets I brought my dogs to are wonderful! The techs are kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. All the staff love the animals they serve, and seem to enjoy their jobs very much! I can tell this is a great place to care for my furbabies!

Everything about our visit was great. The staff took care of us. Dr Slough was great with our English bulldog puppy. They addresses all of our concerns, made sure we were full educated on the breed, helped us make informed decisions and offered a comprehensive care plan. We look forward to our next visit.

  • Elizabeth Rowland

Always welcoming for both pet and owner. Outstanding care with complete explanations and notice of cost prior to any expenditures. Vets and vet techs go out of their way to educate owners and provide answers to all questions. My dog and I rely on the vets and staff to provide excellent care and they do.

First went to this vet because it was the highest rated vet in Keller. Now two years later I’ve moved to Arlington and still choose to go here due to their great customer service and are very great with everyone’s fur buddies. Can’t recommend this place enough. Keep up the great work guys!

  • Donna Carnes

Dr. Ken Slough and his vet technicians are the best! I needed last minute help for my little dog before they closed for Labor Day weekend. They went over and beyond making phone calls for me to get the help my baby needed. I can't say enough of how thankful I am for their care and support.

  • Phillip and Sarah Easley

The staff here is amazing! Our first visit was, unfortunately, to put our dog down. She had cancer and was an older dog, but the vet techs, front office, and dr were all very warm and caring. They loved on her as if they'd known her for years, and the whole thing was very peaceful.

Everyone at WSVH is always so kind and caring for our sweet chihuahua. I never feel rushed or like "just another customer". I truly believe they care about all the animals they help and their owners too. Will recommend to all my family & friends! Thanks for all you do...it matters!

From the call to setup an appointment to the appointment itself, we have never felt so welcomed and taken care of! They showered our pup with love and made him as comfortable as possible while teaching us how to clip his nails and clean his ears among other first time pet owners.

Our first experience with Woodland Springs was top notch in all respects. From the time we walked in until we left, the staff was outstanding. They were caring and very knowledgeable and put us at ease. Would highly recommend them and we have been to a lot of vets over the years.

  • Ms Vette

My experience at the Woodland Springs Vet Hospital was awesome. They were able to get my dog in the same day, which just so happen to be Sunday. The staff were very professional and kind. The cost was far from ER prices...thank God! I would definitely recommend this facility.

This was our first visit to this vet. All went very well, and my little Bentley was unusually comfortable. I also found the medical staff to be very thorough. Good questions were asked and all my questions were patiently answered. Based on this experience, I highly recommend.

  • Eleina M

Really glad we took our puppy here, the staff and veterinarian doctor was great. My appointment time was on time and they gave my pup a lot of love and attention. The staff are knowledgeable and kind and even called me the next day as a follow up to see how things were going.

  • Laurie M

Love the staff and especially Dr. Slough who has been caring for one elderly cat, as well as another who has "moved on". Highly recommend for cleanliness as well as care. Update:. I now have 5 cats, 13, 5, and 3 year olds. Dr Slough thinks I've reached my limit!

  • Bryan Lindsey

My dog had been attacked and needed stitches. My wife called to make an appointment which was 15 mins later. Came in and my dog was taken care of. Took 2 hours, but my dog was their top priority, I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Great staff and Doctors.

Ever since I've had my dog, Woodland Springs Vet Hospital has been nothing but outstanding. They have taken such good care of my dog and my granddog on such a personal level. I have recommended WSVH to several friends and family because I trust them completely.

Woodland Springs treats our babies like members of their own family. We can feel the love the second we walk through the doors and know our little loved ones will be well cared for. The receptionists, technicians, and doctors are all wonderful, caring people.

I love this veterinary clinic for my fur babies! All the doctors and technicians are friendly and knowledgeable! I can trust my fur babies with anyone here! Reasonably priced and they are quick to accommodate my dogs with any of the veterinary needs!

Unfortunately, I had to put my dog down unexpectedly. However, the staff could not have been any more compassionate through out the entire heart breaking process. Sympathy card sent after was really touching and was greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Susan Cornell

Dr Slough did everything possible to make my Shadow comfortable in his last few months. He took very good care of him and he called me himself even on his day off. The staff us very caring and professional and I will never go any place else.

  • Marlie Steele

This vets office feels more like family every time I walk in. They helped me nurse my puppy through parvo and then a few months later, we found she had a birth defect and had to put her down. :( but I couldn’t be more grateful for the staff

I feel the responsibility to alert owners of beloved pets who are seeking veterinarian help. I can help save you a lot of suffering if you will read this. I sought the services of this clinic on September 22, 2017 and let myself be guided

They have been my go to through 3 dogs. Yes, they are a bit pricier than others, but you have to compensate top notch veterinarians. The quality of care and compassion is why I stay. I’m not interested in just their yearly shots. Every

This place offers quality and compassionate care. We've been taking our small dogs here for several years. They've helped us through the young, middle aged, senior days, and the tearful last day. All the veterinarians are great here.

The doctors here have always taken wonderful care of our fur babies. I especially appreciate that their prices are fair and reasonable. The doctors are always willing to give me EVERY option of treatment to consider for my pups.

I've been going to this vet for almost 3 years now. Dr. Via was excellent and got my dog on treatment for his urinary crystals/ stones. She's very sweet! They have a great monthly membership thing for dogs too.

  • Amy Stevens

I wouldn't trust my fur babies to anyone else! The staff is friendly and makes me feel welcome at each visit. Appointments are easy to schedule with extended hours of operation. Thanks Woodland Springs!

Dr. Slough explains things well, and took his time with my two elderly kitties. It is a beautiful facility. I also enjoyed getting the welcome package. This is a good vet practice for my cats.
