Was at woolworths maponya mall after 4pm. The issue started when I was walking out, we were about 7 people. The alarm at door starts ringing. I was the only one called and when I was walking back the alarm was not ringing. The male security was forcing to search my things. I said no because I was standing at the and the alarm was not ringing. He made me stand at the door not wanting to call the manager saying he wants to search my property. He made me empty my my pocket to show him my purse, cellphone and bag. I stood at the the main entrance of the store for about 20minutes and manager who was just justifying what he did. The securities were Matimba and Tukuza and the manager was Linah. That were the names I was given.

Maponya Woolworths has been my favorite store to get my formal shirts and accessories. It’s a pleasant shopping experience and the staff are always helpful however i noticed in the last few years that the store is catering mostly to small sized man like Truworths etc. To find sizes for big built man is a mission and a daunting exercise which is new for me. I have shopped at Woolworths for the last 15 years however lately I am considering other stores which cater for big built guys like myself.

I visited at the wrong time when it was load-shedding. Even though this Woolies doesn't represent 'that' Woolies class, maybe it's because of the market they're targeting in this area. The music sound was very unbearably high, cold drink fridge had a limited stock. Generally, it has a limited variety to choose from. Although I wasn't impressed by this store, but it still better than other stores.

What a retailer with quality goods and quality food at a reasonable and affordable prices. Healthy welcoming sorroundings personnel always at service to any customer keeps on changing now and then for the good course every product they sell especially food is ever fresh and of the highest standard the aroma especially in the food department is appealing makes every customer salivate

Wonderful shopping experience, latest apparel like in sandton so yah thanks for that, food always fresh, staff always friendly like the usual woolies you'd go to, they never disappoint but can they please bring in country road inside their store as well unlike driving to the other malls for that but I love their woolies difference lol

Pleasant place to be at food is very fresh I like there shoes and clothes beautiful food is excellent I'll recommend anyone to go there it not crowded stuff members are very helpful I appreciate you guys keep up the good work you're doing for us

Excellent customer service, friendly staff and the store caters for everyone. Staff members are always available to assist. I'm a happy customer. Customers are treated with respect. Best staff members including security.

I think they should invest more on customer service especially on the grocery side... I can't be looking around for someone to help me when I can't find something... Sales people should be ready available

What a lovely place and staff full of life. The shop was buzzing with customers, but no dull moment. Everyone was in the festive mood already. We had a good time and ended up buying specials.

Looking for a last minute birthday gift, woolies has got yah everything in one awesome shop great quality for less prices u can never go wrong …

It is welcoming but you'll never get help from the staff. There's no staff to help. But it's okay
