I took my Holden Cruze to MyCar repair center at Sydenham,Watergardens ,Victoria on the 28/09/22 as there was an issue with water leaking and an oil leak with the engine light on. The mechanic advised me it will take a couple of days to fix and quoted me $2000, which I agreed to pay with the hope that it’d be fixed on time which was 30/09/22. MyCar were not able to fix my car within the given time frame and took 8 days in total to fix my car. When they called me to pick the car it wasn’t fixed properly, however they told me everything was fixed. I made the payment as requested thinking the car was now repaired, however upon leaving the MyCar repair centre the engine light had re-appeared. I returned my vehicle to MyCar in the hopes it would be repaired correctly this time around, they worked on it for 3 more days stating it was a sensor issue. After picking up my car on 07/10/22 the engine light had re-appeared by midafternoon. since i had already picked my car for that day and have to go work i was not able to drop it back then and there, when i called them regarding the engine light on they advised me to drop it on 12th oct but I ended up dropping my car off again on 11/10/22. After putting a written complain to MyCar customer complaint team. store manger Michael from Mycar Sydenham called me and advised that they have to change change the valve cover. I was told it will cost me $665 and that he wouldn’t charge labor cost to change it as a goodwill gesture. Besides, he also mentioned that he will try to get special discount for me as they normally order those valve covers in bulk. Later in the afternoon, I received a text message stating my car was ready for pick up. When I went to pick up my car, I was quoted $465 to pay for the job, I paid the quoted amount thinking I was well looked after for the price. I told Michael, I want to see which valve cover he had replaced and that I want to take back the old valve cover with me. He then stated he had replaced the old valve cover with Dorman Valve cover 264-968. Michael gave me the empty box of new Dorman valve cover, inside of which I put the old valve cover. After reaching home , I checked the price of Dorman valve cover online and found it is much cheaper than the price I had paid. Even the reviews for Dorman valve cover 264-968 are not good. Before leaving store, I asked Michael why didn’t he put the genuine Holden valve cover. He advised me due to some government regulations for Holden valve covers, they don’t recommend to use it which I couldn’t comprehend. Online price Dorman valve is less then $350. These Two conman Marvain and Michael have ripped me off so bad , . For a loyal customer who has been your loyal customer since 2014, I expected better service and problem resolution.they have completely broken my trust. I again have reported this matter to customer complain department but haven’t received any response yet. Can someone from head office look into this matter please and do something. It’s not about money anymore for me. It’s about these two conman trying to rip of innocent people.

My brother recommended this shop, so I was expecting that everything will go smoothly. Unfortunately, turnout to be a disappointment. Had my car sent for a logbook servicing, my car is in perfect condition prior to bringing it to this shop, and received it with a damage on my sunroof’s sunshade. I did not notice the damage till I was home. So I took it back to the shop the next day (because it was almost closing time when I picked my car from them) but no one took accountability. Had sent a complaint with mycareteam and told me someone will be following up with my case but no one did. It’s very frustrating to get this kind of service especially to someone like me who is struggling to manage my time from work and studies. Hoping you will improve your service and prevent adding up to somebody else’s already stressful life.

I would not recommend anybody to take their vehicle here. Look at photos attached to show damage done to our vehicle, I would hate for anybody to go through the same stressful experience. Very very upsetting to have them then deny doing this. Multiple attempts to have Brad and customer service team to restore this car to original condition, however no acceptance of liability or duty of care from this store, and to have them deny having any video surveillance to prove their misconduct. Thank you Sydenham store and Brad, for now costing me a lot of money to have my car fixed to the condition it was prior to drop off and unfortunately trusting it in your care.

I booked my car in for a service, the shop has full knowledge of my car arriving for a service. I drop the car off at 8am and ask for a 2pm pickup, I was told that was fine and he would complete all works. I walk back to the shop at 1pm to find not only has they NOT done anything to the car. I was feed a complete BS story about ordering spark plugs and they needed to hold it over night. That is pathetic service by any standard. Was i offered an apology, nothing but weak excuses. Do not bother taking your pride and joy to these clowns. They dont have the integrity to admit to mistakes or poor customer service. Go elsewhere.

Had my car recently serviced and repaired at my car Sydenham. I found the workmanship and customer service to be fantastic and very professional. I received experienced knowledge and a breakdown process of what my car needed and why. I also felt the pricing to be great and respectable in comparison to other quotes I had received in the past. I can’t thank the boys enough and especially Daniel on his ‘ can do attitude’ and willingness to meet customer satisfaction. Highly highly recommended to all my family And friends!

Refreshing honesty! Called on 5th January 2023 to get my existing tyres fitted to my new forged rims. Was told they don't fit customer tyres to wheels,I was surprised considering that's their business model -eg. tyres and wheels (im assuming they dont have the skillset required ) they recommended I try Bob Jane instead. It's not every day someone admits they can't do something and run the risk of damaging your new expensive wheels. 5 stars for honesty, 2 stars for ability.

I have had previous positive experiences at this store but the standard has dropped well below. Poor communication. Car not ready at requested and agreed time. Log book not stamped. Mechanic stated log book could not be found. It is in the glove box and easily accessible. Had to call head office to try to resolve issues. Hope they can return their standards as this service was well below their usual level.

My dad is an elderly pensioner and has been taking his car to Michael for the last few years. Even when they’re very busy, Michael always finds time to fit my dad in, or give him help and advice over the phone and has been very helpful and considerate in helping my dad out with urgent mechanical repairs. Michael is very trustworthy and always fairly looks after my dad and his car. 5 stars to the team!!

The car who did my car was named Nam and just so friendly with the bestest customer service. Thank you guys. I had my dad book in so there was no confusion as to what needed to be done with the car. I dropped the car off, paid and picked it up only to get home and realised that what was specifically booked in was not done but I was still charged for it. I had to take the car back and a 1 hour job turned into a half a day job. I wouldn’t take your car here unless you want to get ripped off.

Good service.The staff did a great job and even organised to have my other car done on the same day even though they were busy, just some feedback it would be nice to place some disposable paper floor mats to avoid boot stains on the carpet and also maybe use gloves inside the car( or clean hands) as I have stains on the driver side door upholstery.

We highly recommend Ali, Ali and his team serviced our car today. We were a little nervous as he is new to the store, but we didn’t need to be. We found him to be honest and he could have upselled the service package but didn’t. We had some other issues with the car and he took the time to explain and put no pressure on us to proceed.

Great customer service, had Daniel manage my car. Had a punctured tyre, damage to the tyre was pretty severe so they couldn’t repair it and they replaced it with a brand new tyre (same model) completely free because it was still within the 12 month warranty they offer when you buy tyres from them. Really quick turnaround as well!

Great blokes there. First time coming and won’t be my last. Needed a tire puncture repair and they squeezed me in just before closing and had it done in 10 minutes. Even pulled my car around to the door so it was right there when I left. Would highly recommend. Service is above and beyond well done.

I do not recommend this place, my car was leaking coolant and I wasn’t aware of it. I took it back for service and they continued to tell me there was no issues with my coolant when clearly there was a leak. Horrible service.
