Great atmosphere. Nice sitting capacity and good seats. Gaddafi Stadium, previously known as Lahore Stadium is a cricket stadium in Lahore, Pakistan and the home ground of Lahore Qalandars. It is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). With a capacity of 27,000, it is the fourth largest cricket stadium of Pakistan. Gaddafi Stadium was the first in Pakistan to be equipped with modern floodlights having their own standby power generators. The headquarters of the Pakistan Cricket Board are situated at Gaddafi Stadium, thus making it the home of the Pakistan national cricket team. It was designed by Russian-born Pakistan architect and civil engineer Nasreddin Murat-Khan, and constructed by Mian Abdul Khaliq and Company in 1959. The stadium was renovated for the 1996 Cricket World Cup when it hosted the final. In addition to Pakistan home games and international matches, the Gaddafi Stadium has also hosted several matches of the Pakistan Super League, with the first one being the final of the 2017 edition. In March 2022, the PCB began the process to change the name of the Gaddafi Stadium to the name of a new sponsor for financial reasons.

We went there for the Lahore v Karachi match and it was not my first time there. Qaddafi stadium has a special place in every cricket lover's heart who lives in Lahore. People have witnessed so many greats coming there and playing. I still remember the time when cricket was banned in Pakistan and I used to pass by the stadium and wish that if it will be possible some day to come and watch cricket again here. No doubt the government and the management has done great work for that too. The stadium management however needs to address the seats issue specially in all enclosures. There is no room for people to sit and extend their legs more than some certain degrees which makes people have congested area and if you're 6 feet tall then it will be a problem. Other than that there wasn't anything that was poor according to me. Everything was managed perfectly with the best possible service. Parking area and everything

My last visit to Gaddafi Stadium was to spectate the LIVE match of PSL season 8 between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, and it was an incredible experience. The stadium was well-organized and had ample seating arrangements with a good field view. The atmosphere was electric, with passionate fans cheering for their respective teams. The match was highly competitive and entertaining, with both teams displaying excellent cricketing skills. However, Karachi Kings emerged victorious, which was an exciting moment for their fans. The experience of watching a LIVE match there is unforgettable, and I can’t wait to return.

سٹیڈیم تو اچھا ہے۔ لیکن میچ دیکھنے کیلئے آنے والے تماشائیوں کو بہت ذلیل کیا جاتا ہے۔ تقریباً آٹھ بار مختلف جگہوں پر تلاشی لی جاتی ہیں۔ اسکے علاوہ ہیڈفون اور چارجر وغیرہ کی بھی اجازت نہیں۔ اگر کسی کے پاس ہو تو ضبط کیا جاتا ہے۔ اور وہاں پر کینٹین کی سہولت بھی نہیں۔ واش روم بھی استعمال کے قابل نہیں ہے۔ اسی طرح وہاں پر جانے کیلئے کرونا ویکسین کارڈ اور ID کارڈ لےجانا بھی لازم ہے۔ اسی طرح 250 روپے کے ٹکٹ اور 1250 روپے کے ٹکٹ کی سیٹ اور سہولیات میں کوئی فرق نہیں۔ اسلیئے کوشش یہی کریں کہ ٹکٹ 250 والا ہی لے۔ مختصر یہ کہ وہاں پر جانے سے پہلے ان باتوں کو بھی مدنظر رکھنا چاہیے۔

A lovely place to enjoy cricket in Pakistan. We went there with the mind that we will face alot of hurdles but the management was very good and they were friendly to people visiting for cricket match. It was lovely to be there and I wosh to go there again to enjoy live cricket in Pakistan. Seats were not clean as per standards thet need special attention from management of the stadium. Overall it was nice to be there. Love to see it again and again. Thanks to international players visiting Pakistan to bring cricket back in Pakistan. Pakistan Zindabad .

Gaddafi Stadium is located in Lahore and practice cricket hockey is really running mostly in the evening time especially around the stadium there are 50 plus restaurants which are open from evening to late night most of them are open sitting. Approx. All kinds of food are available.Dinner goes on till late night.Sparkling with lighting, there is a line of restaurants around the stadium which has a wide menu of chicken, mutton, fish and vegetable dishes and you can enjoy it with your family. are

سٹیڈیم اب بہتر حالت میں ہے پی سی بی کی طرف سے صفائی کے اور بقیہ سہولیات کا انتظام سوائے پینے کے صاف پانی کے بہترین تھا۔ واٹر کولر بھی موجود تھا اور اس پہ ڈسپوزایبل گلاس بھی بروقت مہیا کیئے جا رہے تھے مگر کولر کا واٹر فلٹر تبدیل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے اس میں کائی آنے کی وجہ سے پانی پینے کا قابل نہیں ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ سٹیڈیم کے اندر بیچے جانے والی آئسکریم اور دوسرے سامان خورد و نوش کی قیمت بھی مناسب حد تک کنٹرول کرنے کی ضرورت ہے وہ دوگنی سے بھی زیادہ قیمت پہ فروخت ہو رہی تھیں۔

Rated it 5-star because of zinda dillan e Lahore otherwise the stadium is only 3-star. The lahoRis make it 6-star ♥️♥️ Grass is good now. Pitch is also supportive. Enclosures are above average. Wasim Akram and Saeed Anwar view is good and price is cheaper. PSL is expensive. But FULL CROWD is PAISA VASOOL. Ground is a bit far, but if you chant loudly IMAAD KO OVER DO, he can listen on the boundary . Great Stuff.

I have watched matches in different stadiums across the country, watched them in the most expensive enclosures too. (This view is from Waqar Younis encl.). However, Rawalpindi stays at the top. Because you will always get food on time (if included), audience will be slightly better and your view is always great because of smaller size. I hope they work on improving the service quality in Lahore too.

The great Qaddafi Stadium is such a nice cricket venue. The different public enclosures are on the names of famous pakistani cricketers. I only had my first live match experience at cricket stadium duing the PSL league. More than the match the old friends company made it superb. There was too much unnecessary noise though of horns whistles and beats.

This place is best for cricket events which most of the people knows but a lot of people don't know this place also offers many restaurants gift shops tobacco shop clothing shops. This place also have wedding venue too. There is also a mosque over there too. It's also a nice area for Hangout Walk around and for dinner for sure.

بشیر دارالماہی لاہور کی بری اور گندی ترین مچھلی کی جگہ ہے. کوئی سروس نہیں ہے. پانی تک نہیں پوچھتے. آوازیں دیتا رہا، کوئی پانی پوچھنے تک نہیں آیا. ٹتھ پک نہیں. ٹشوز بھی مانگنے پر ملتے ہیں ورنہ نہیں. کتے کے بچے ہیں یہ لوگ. گندا سٹاف. لاپرواہ انتظامیہ. انتظامیہ کا یہ خیال ہے کہ کام تو چلتا یے، لوگوں کی خدمت کرنے کی کیا ضرورت ہے

اسٹیڈیم 1959ء میں تعمیر ہوا اور اس کا ڈیزائن نصر الدین مراد خان نے مکمل کیا۔ اس میدان پر پہلا کرکٹ ٹیسٹ میچ پاکستان اور آسٹریلیا کی ٹیموں کے مابین سنہ انیس سو انسٹھ میں اکیس سے چھبیس نومبر کے دوران میں کھیلا گیا۔ اور اس میں 60 ہزار تماشائیوں کے بیٹھنے کی گنجائش ہے جس کی بدولت یہ ملک کا سب سے بڑا کھیل کا میدان ہے۔

قذافی اسٹیڈیم ایک بہترین جگہ ہے۔ کرکٹ گرائونڈ کے علاؤہ یہاں پر اور بھی کئی اسٹیڈیم اور تھیٹر واقع ہیں۔ نیشنل کرکٹ اکیڈمی، اوپن ایئر تھیٹر،، نیشنل ہاکی اسٹیڈیم، سوئمنگ کلب ، پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کا دفتر بھی یہیں ہیں۔ قذافی سٹیڈیم کے آس پاس کئی ریسٹورنٹ بھی موجود ہیں جہاں انواع و اقسام کے لذیذ کھانے دستیاب ہیں۔

A sports complex with compounds for various games. The Qadafi stadium famous cricket ground in the city. You go inside when there is a match on. But you can enjoy food outlets outside stadium. Almost all poular names have a branch over there. So decide the type of food and go in.

Great atmosphere. Nice sitting capacity and good seats. But distance between spectators and players a bit long. Stadiums like Faisalabad and Rawalpindi have less distance between crowd and boundaries. Apat from this. Overall a good stadium.
