I have been visiting this Masjid in Phase-V of DHA , Karachi at the intersection of Kh-e- Bahria & Kh-e-Hafiz , for the 40 years or so . This Masjid was constructed in a Typical AbuDhabian Masjid Architecture with no Entrance Main Gate & Entrance Lobby & Low Compound Wall encircling the Courtyard which directly touched the Prayer Hall designed by a Pakistani Architect for a Shaikh of AbuDhabi of UAE who donated it as a sign of goodwill gesture to the Ppl of Karachi , Sindh of Pakistan ; But lateron the style of architecture of this Small Masjid was changed to Pakistani style by covering the front open Courtyard & raising the Compound wall & providing the front verandah which touched the Main Prayer Hall & providing the place for placing the Bier of Coffin infront of the Main Prayer Hall outside the Masjid & giving a passage for the Bier Carrying Bus to the GraveYard . Only Main Prayer Hall of this Masjid is airconditioned where padestal fans have also been provided. I have attended numeous Nikah Ceremonies of Family Members & Friends in an Arab Style & had attended the Namaz-e-Janaza of my Elder Brother & other Namaz-e-Janazas of Relatives & Friends / Notables of this Country & other Foreign Nationals & found these to be the affairs to remember for all times to come .

مساجد اللہ تعالی کے ہاں محبوب ترین جگہیں ہیں مسجدوں کی تعمیر انبیائے کرام اور ان کے متبعین کا شیوہ ہے جس پر جنت میں گھر کا وعدہِ الہی بھی ہے، مسجد آتے جاتے ہر قدم پر اجر و ثواب ملتا ہے، یہاں نماز کا انتظار فرشتوں کی دعا کا باعث ہے، اس کے خادم کی شان بہت بلند ہے، مسجد آتے ہوئے اچھا لباس پہنیں، وقار سے چلیں، مسجد میں داخل ہونے کی دعا پڑھیں ،تحیۃ المسجد ادا کریں، پہلی صف میں بیٹھیں اور جب جماعت کھڑی ہو جائے تو کوئی اور نماز ادا نہ کریں، مساجد کی آباد کاری علم اور ذکرِ الہی سے ہوتی ہے، مسجدوں کے آباد کار مومن ہوتے ہیں اور دنیاوی فتنوں سے محفوظ رہتے ہیں، مسجدوں کی علمی محفلوں کو فرشتے ڈھانپتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالی ان کا تذکرہ فرماتا ہے. ارشاد باری تعالیٰ ہے: { اِنَّمَا یَعۡمُرُ مَسٰجِدَ اللّٰہِ مَنۡ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَ الۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَ اَقَامَ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اٰتَی الزَّکٰوۃَ وَ لَمۡ یَخۡشَ اِلَّا اللّٰہَ فَعَسٰۤی اُولٰٓئِکَ اَنۡ یَّکُوۡنُوۡا مِنَ الۡمُہۡتَدِیۡنَ }(التوبۃ:۱۸) ’’اللہ کی مسجدوں کو تو وہی لوگ آباد کرتے ہیں جو اللہ اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان لائے ہوں ، اور نماز قائم کریں ، اور زکوٰۃ ادا کریں ، اور اللہ کے سوا کسی سے نہ ڈریں ۔ ایسے ہی لوگوں سے یہ توقع ہوسکتی ہے کہ وہ صحیح راستہ اختیار کرنے والوں میں شامل ہوں گے.‘‘ اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب تم کسی شخص کو بار بار مسجد میں آتا جاتا دیکھو تو اس کے ایمان کی گواہی دو۔

One of the best masjid in DHA. Excellent Qirat of Quantum by Imam e Masjid. I've been visiting thus masjid since the past 25 years and no one in karachi has the Qirat and voice like the imam of this masjid. Their voice is just like imam e Kaba (Makkah). The imam of the masjid in his younger age 20 years ago was a replica of imam e Kaba and u would feel like in makkah while performing namaz behind him. Must try to perform a jummah namaz in this masjid to endorse my review. Fully air conditioned and excellent maintained masjid with a huge capacity.

A practicing and praying place for Muslim religious fellows. The problem is that there is no car parking area, and stupid people just park their vehicles on the road corners which causes traffic jam. And due to this problem, people face a lot of difficulties, they get too late for their works and ambulances also gets stuck sometimes due to this idiotic parkings. Please don't bring your cars again, if you read this message. Thanks

My favorite Mosque for Tarawi, Moulvi Sahib, Munir Shakir has a gift of recitation of Quran Pak, and he carries the Namazis with his powerful voice and fluency of Qirat. Until 2012 I used to live quite close, so it was the obvious choice, but even now it is walking distance and a beautiful place to worship.

Parking is plenty here even during Friday and space is available in on top floor. The Juma timings are are on time time and at 1:20PM so it is recommended to go at 12:50 to find a good place to sit. My only gripe is that the Juma Khutbas are not always topical and gears more towards current news at times.

It's a nice spacious message kept clean and organized. I particularly like the fact that they conserve water by preventing overuse via taps during ablution. It's located at main junction road so it's pretty hard to miss. Although the Imam didn't have that good of a recitation but the masjid is nice.

One of the landmark kind of mosque of DHA. Good design, well ventilated and have plenty of sunlight. One prominent flaw is location of restrooms, you cannot enter in restroom without going through the mosques clean floor. I don't understand why can't we place restrooms on a proper place in mosques!

Masha'Allah Beautiful and Spacious Masjid. Equipped with Air conditioners and Standby Generator. Masjid has a non AC Space also. Ablution area has high rise seats also. Masjid has toilet facility available. Cold water cooler is also available inside Ablution area.

Covid protocols were not seen being exercised, however there are markings on the floor for social distancing and sanitizer containers installed on the walls and pillars. Ample space.

Because I m not the resident of the closest vicinity of Sultan Masjid so not going regular there however offered Namaz couple of times passing there, nice clean atmosphere.

Sultan Mosque is a beautiful and ideal for offering daily prayes especially the Jumma Prayer. It has very huge capacity and good number of ablution and washrooms.
