Basically Dow University Ojha Campus have multiple institutes inside its premises including Dow University Hospital, Trauma Center, Dow Diagnostic Lab, Ojha institute of chest diseases, Dow international medical college and Dow university of health sciences to Name a view.... As far as infrastructure and facilities are concerned, I find it really fascinating being a semi-government body. However, received mix reviews from visitors about the health services especially people visited Dow emergency did not have a good experience but satisfied with diagnostic and lab services. Similarly. OPD rates are very reasonable i.e Rs.450 which is much lesser than all other hospitals and therefore, you will find crowd in opds and long waiting... Overall, I think it is good health care option for the people residing nearby areas and looking affordable heath care services. If anyone from Dow management reading this, please ask your staff to be little bit more polite and helpful towards visitors as most people visit there are in stress and trouble and your good gestures may give them little comfort. Thanks

03AUG2022: Visited recently for my friend's mother who is admitted and in ICU of Surgical Unit 2. Since she is in ICU, therefore couldn't see much, but I did visit the Administrator in main hospital building to request him to send some uniformed staff who can enforce discipline in ICU Waiting area as people had occupied whole of wooden bench meant for 3 persons each. They had brought pillows and were lying there asleep at 3 in the afternoon. While many persons including myself were standing without seating place. The Administrator patiently listened and nodded to send someone. But I stayed there for further 40 minutes and nobody showed up. The waiting area was littered with garbage thrown by these visitors. But the untidy Administration is least caring. There are 2 CCTV cameras also installed but of no use probably. 2 Benches were broken as well. I picked up some garbage and made kids join in the effort to dispose in the bin, Alhamdo Lillah.

To Management, Please improve your phone call customer staff support. 1. Confirmed the doctor's availability, where they told 1.30 to 4pm for the chest OPD as I have serious pain. Once I reached there was no one. Again called on phone support the customer support number put the call on hold and I lost the minutes. Again charged the card, called the customer support this time they transferred the call to OPD and no one picked. We were already in parking. Again gap of 10 minutes I tried and this time the doctor's availability they told is 4 to 6. Whereas the security guard outside the OPD said k yaha to subha subha aatay hy doctor ab to yeh band ho jata hy. 2. Please do something for the parking patients, directly coming to check for the ER cases. I drove to hospital, no one was there for vallet, then parked the car and returned to emergency after a long walk it was a real bad experience

Recently we visited the liver transplant department at Dow University and Medical Sciences for my friend's nephew. We were really happy with how they helped us and gave advice. Before, the patient was in a different hospital, and it seemed like that hospital was more focused on making money. But here, they guided us correctly. All the doctors were very kind and gentle. They made sure the patient felt comfortable before doing any surgery. I've also had my wisdom teeth surgery there. Their equipment and machinery are top-notch. You don't have to pay any fees before the doctor suggests a treatment, and their fees for surgeries or services are affordable. There's ample parking in front of each department, and the hospital is easily ♿ Accessible for everyone. I would strongly recommend this hospital for consultations and surgeries.

Today I visited Dow University Ojha Campus lab for some blood testing purpose. I am writing this with utmost sorrow and paom that the technecian who was taking the blood sample was not at all experienced and qualified for this job. He was so incompitent that despite of various fail attempt and rotating syrange inside the vein and skin unable to took the blood sample, he was using the syrange like as he is digging in a ground, teasing and treating the patient like animals, those who also deserve to be handled with soft hands, as they are also living creature. I syrongly urge people to not to go there just for the sake of saving some thousands and go to some other place for their humotology and pethalogical testings. Please avoid going Dow Lab Ojha campus Larachi...go to any other lab but not there.

Last week, i have experienced the dental department of Dow university and medical sciences. I am highly satisfied from their medical facilitation and consultation. All the doctors are very humble and kind. They made the patient comfortable first then did any surgery or operation. I have had the wisdom teeth surgery from there. They have the state of art machinery and updated equipment(s). Their is no fees before the doctor suggested treatment and their fees of any surgery or service is very economical. They have the huge parking in front of each department. I will highly recommend this hospital for the dental consultation and surgeries.

Parking is an issue here. Their staff is okay. The doctors are good. However, it's funny how they don't trust tests from their hospital i.e DOW. They'd always ask to get tests done from AKU and I don't understand why. Is DOW lab not good enough or what? Nothing against the doctors though. Their toilets in OPD are pathetic though. Smelly. No toilet tissue. No soap. No sanitiser. No hand drier or anything at all. The cleanliness was awful. It was all unhygienic. I don't know why hospitals don't maintain their toilets.

This is Semi Government hospital with mostly all services available. But there is no online information desk, moreover some of the staff are really good and some are really bad. Mostly the surgeons were not found during surgeries, the senior and junior doctors done all surgeries. There is no complain cell exist, the VC also don't take any action on complains. Every employee has there own way to perform their duties. No decoram found. In OPDs the consultant never come on time.

There are encroachments on main entrance, showing ugly look and disturbing while driving in/out. there are lacking of direction sign board outside and inside of the building. Staff are looking unimpressive and ugly. supplies of foods in canteen are unhygienic and whole area of canteen showing ugly look. all above shows administration is very weak, need very hard training. my services are rendered for the same.

Dow university providing a quality service no doubt, but the little thing is that if you are a new in this university specially ojah campus and you don't know the name of department you are gone bcz the distance from one department to another department is too far. The classrooms, environment and building everything was clean. One of the finest university in pakistan.

Dow is OK for OPD services and Lab Tests.But For emergency and appointments with doctors, it's pathetic. Management is near non-existent and Parking system is a mess. No doctor available in emergency after 10 pm night. Bribery is very common. Quite unhygienic. But overall hospital is very cheap for lab tests and OPD.

One of the best hospital in Karachi. I think best in government sector. ICU and Emergency are in good condition, with new sophisticated machines and caring staff. Charges are some high as compared to other hospitals. OPD charges are reasonable but token time is too short, it should extend till 4 pm.

It is good hospital but when you come here for tests related to cardio,MRI,CT scan and etc.waiting time could be somewhere from 2 hour and onwards so keep that in mind and prepare your patients accordingly.
