Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a 20-metre (22-yard) pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at the wicket with the bat, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this and dismiss each player (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground. When ten players have been dismissed, the innings ends and the teams swap roles. The game is adjudicated by two umpires, aided by a third umpire and match referee in international matches. They communicate with two off-field scorers who record the match's statistical information. Traditionally cricketers play in all-white kit, but in limited overs cricket they wear club or team colours. In addition to the basic kit, some players wear protective gear to prevent injury caused by the ball, which is a hard, solid spheroid made of compressed leather with a slightly raised sewn seam enclosing a cork core which is layered with tightly wound string. Historically, cricket's origins are uncertain and the earliest definite reference is in south-east England in the middle of the 16th century. It spread globally with the expansion of the British Empire, leading to the first international matches in the second half of the 19th century. The game's governing body is the International Cricket Council (ICC), which has over 100 members, twelve of which are full members who play Test matches. The game's rules are held in a code called the Laws of Cricket which is owned and maintained by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in London. The sport is followed primarily in the Indian subcontinent, Australasia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, southern Africa and the West Indies, its globalisation occurring during the expansion of the British Empire and remaining popular into the 21st century.[1] Women's cricket, which is organised and played separately, has also achieved international standard. The most successful side playing international cricket is Australia, having won seven One Day International trophies, including five World Cups, more than any other country, and having been the top-rated Test side more than any other country.
Tiny, rusty, dirty and unmanaged futsal court. The turf isn't good either. And the boundary line markings on the edges are right up against the wall which is a terrible idea and very DANGEROUS ! And there are barely any other markings on the turf. And the bathroom was dirty and smelly too. You can see how DIRTY and ANCIENT the place is right as you enter the premises. Not a good place to enjoy futsal. NOT RECOMMENDED if you even slightly care about hygiene and safety !
Cricket area is decent enough to play....is really badly managed though, dogs litter were all around the field. Pricing was also it was decent for the field and pitch that they provide, but -1star for the 500rs ball that we have to pay inorder to play. Paying for the ball doesn't make any sense!
Best place for indoor cricket in the valley. It's a huge indoor space as compared to the other ones, be it for trainings or games. However, there seemed to be an issue with proper lighting (for evening matches), and also I didn't find any outdoor training spaces.
Although the place is big, it is poorly maintained. The grass carpet is torn from so many places, when it rains the water dribs down from both the side and fielding becomes very tough. Also the management is not responsive. Its … थप
The pitch was pathetic with unlevelled surface, worn out grass & patches of grass surface replaced. It needs to be immediately replaced! Also very unsafe playing area with walls and metal structures very close! Pitch size was okay.
Arena is somewhat 300 metres from the main road of ratopul..It does have both cricket as well as futsal arena...futsal arena is of 5A side and is also bigger as compared to that of other arenas... It charges around 1300 per hour.
The quality of velocity arena has dropped from wow to awful. With one of a kind indoor cricket center, don't know why the management isn't looking good at it. Hope things get back as it was in the beginning.
Futsal Pitch is as same as it was a year ago. No other additional services. Small court as compared to others. Poor lighting inside futsal court. But Cricket pitch seems fine. Haven't played though.
Turf/FutsalBall quality is just okay(looks very old). No futsal marking lines at all. Futsal pitch is quite bigger than average futsal size. Cricsal(Indoor Cricket) pricing is quite expensive.
It's good and it gives you +5minutes for the intense match of loosers pay halted at a draw. The mats could use some repair and fixing plus a bit on the water supply it is great.
We can reach there easily even in public transport. We can play futsal or cricket on our choice. Grounds are well managed and clean as well. No disturbance from outside world.
It looks like sunlight doesn't enter here at all. The pitch is fine, both futsal and cricsal can be played. Changing room is not that clean but satisfactory.
In this city of concrete, its very difficult to find proper field to Play cricket. This arena can be the good option to play cricsal for the cricket lovers
The pitch is wider so u can run more and build more plays and passes. There are some unevenness in the ground which can hurt you so better be careful
it was nice to play there. fee were affordable only rs1000 if you go on saturday the price is added by 200 rs which is not much. arena is beautiful.
Great place to play indoor cricket. It is big than all other cricksal places in Kathmandu. Can easily play 8-9a side team and have fun.
Lovely arena with futsol n mini cricket. I highly recommend this place. My Son loves this place and he is regular. Deserves 5star.
Enough big futsal playground. Cricket play ground is also available. Good parking facility. Very reasonable price Clean Cafeteria
Not many places for indoor cricket so not a bad place at all if your a cricket fan and want to play so cricket with you friends.
One of the great place to play indoor cricket. Could have been 5stars but we have to buy the ball (500rs) to play so -1 stars
This Place looks cool from the outside and is ok to play at , but the futsal isn't that great . As it's not well maintained .
You can get both facilities but in morning time you can't make sound and school/college's tournament shouldn't be held there
Both futsal and cricket playing grounds available. Price is moderate. Ball quality could do better. Pitch is also decent.
The pitch needs fixing, the washroom needs fixing and cleaning. The shower did not work, neither did the door lock.
Quite bigger futsal ground..but its time to change the turf....but if your are into cricket you would feel great...
The place has both indoor cricket and futsal ground. The price is reasonable and the ground space is satisfactory.
Enjoyed playing cricsalll but the ball And pitch were not too good and it's quite expensive compared to others.
Expensive place to play cricket. What i feel is you cannot Get what you have paid In that very insfrastructure.

It was good, the only demerit was that they'll not supply you with tennis balls
Nice place to practice and have fun with friends both for Cricket and futsal.

They need to renovate some stuff, if renovation is done then its good one.
