♥চট্টগ্রাম ডায়াবেটিক জেনারেল হাসপাতাল। ♣চট্টগ্রাম ডায়াবেটিক অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সংক্ষিপ্ত ইতিহাস চট্টগ্রাম ডায়াবেটিক অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (সিডিএ) বাংলাদেশের ডায়াবেটিক অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের একটি অলাভজনক স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সামাজিক-মেডিকেল সংস্থা শাখা, ঢাকা সোসাইটি রেজিস্ট্রেশন অ্যাক্ট, 1860 এর অধীনে সমাজ কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সাথে নিবন্ধিত হয়। যদিও চট্টগ্রাম ডায়াবেটিক অ্যাসোসিয়েশন 1975 সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল জাতীয় অধ্যাপক ডা। মুহম্মদ ইব্রাহিমের গাইড লাইন এবং চট্টগ্রামের ডেডিকেটেড সমাজকর্মী, চিকিৎসক ও বেসামরিক কর্মচারীদের কাছ থেকে সাহায্য গ্রহণ, এটি তখন সরকারের মন্ত্রিসভার সদস্য পরামর্শক (স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা) আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে উদ্বোধন করে। বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় অধ্যাপক ডা। মুহম্মদ ইব্রাহিম 1976 সালের 3 ই মে। এটি 1975 সালে কাপাস গোলাম মিউনিসিপাল কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে তার অস্থায়ী অপারেশন শুরু করে। কিছুদিন পরেই এটি চট্টগ্রাম জেনারেল হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তরিত হয়। এরপর, ময়ইদিব্যাগে এবং পরবর্তী সময়ে এনায়েত বাজারে স্থানান্তরিত হয়। বাংলাদেশ রেলওয়ে বিভাগের সহায়তায় বাংলাদেশ 1998 সালে খালিশীর 1 একর জমি চট্টগ্রাম ডায়াবেটিক অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের জন্য বরাদ্দ করা হয়। এটি একটি 27 সদস্যের নির্বাহী কমিটি দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়। এখন এটি বাংলাদেশের দ্বিতীয় বৃহত্তম ডায়াবেটিক হাসপাতাল।

Chittagong Diabetic Association (CDA) is a non-profit voluntary socio-medical organization branch of Diabetic Association of Bangladesh, Dhaka is registered with the Ministry of Social Welfare under the Society’s registration act, 1860. Though Chittagong Diabetic Association was founded in 1975, by the guide line of National Professor Dr. Muhammed Ibrahim and taking help from a group of dedicated social worker, physicians and civil servants of Chittagong City, it was inaugurated formally by then cabinet member consultant (Health and Family Planning) the Govt. of Bangladesh National Prof. Dr. Muhammed Ibrahim on 3rd May 1976. It started its temporary operation at Kapas Gola Municipal Community Center in 1975. After some days the service was shifted to Chittagong General Hospital. Then, shifted to Mehedibag and next time at Enayet Bazar. By the help of Bangladesh Railway department of the Govt. Republic of Bangladesh 1 acre land at Khulshi was alloted for Chittagong Diabetic Association in 1998. It is run by a 27 member Executive Committee. Now it has become the second largest Diabetic Hospital in Bangladesh.

সার্বিক দিক দিয়ে ভাল, তবে ডায়াগনোসিস এর ব্যাপারে আরো সতর্ক হওয়ার সুযোগ আছে। শৃংখলা রক্ষা প্রশংসার দাবীদার। তবে একজন রোগী চিকিৎসকের সাথে কথা বলার সময় পায়না বললে চলে। একজন ডাক্তার ১ মিনিটে একজন রোগী দেখেন।ভুক্তভোগী আমি নিজেই। নিজের উপসর্গ গুলো বলার সময় চিকিৎসকের নেই। এটা নিয়ে কিছু করুন।প্রয়োজনে অনলাইনে এপয়েন্টমেন্ট চালু করা যায়। সেই অনুযায়ী সেবা দিন। এমন করে সেবা দেয়া না দেয়া একই। এমনিতে দেশের চিকিৎসা সেবার উপর মানুষ বীতশ্রদ্ধ, যাদের সঙ্গতি আছে তারা এই দেশের চিকিৎসার উপর আস্থাশীল নয়, তারা মরলেও দেশের বাইরে গিয়ে মরেন। মনে অন্তত এইটুকু শান্তনা নিয়ে মরেন যে চেষ্টার অনেক কিছু। শরীরে বড় ব্যাধি বেধে গেলে মানসিক শক্তির জায়গাটা ক্রমান্বয়ে সংকুচিত হয়ে আসে। এসময় চিকিৎসা সেবার উপর আস্থা একটা বড় জিনিস যা আমাদের দেশে অপ্রতুল। কেউ মারা যাচ্ছে বিনা চিকিৎসায়, আর কেউ অবহেলায় যেন এই ভুখন্ডে জন্ম নেয়ায় আজন্ম পাপ। দয়া করে একটু নজর দিন।

অনেক বছর যাবৎ আমার ফ্যামেলীর মা বাবা স্ত্রী ডায়াবেটিস হাসপাতালের সদস্য, আজ অতি কস্টের সহিত বলতে হচ্ছে ১০৭ নাম্বার চক্ষু ডাক্তারের এসিস্ট্যান্ট মোহাম্মদ মহসিন নামের এক অমানুষের দূরব্যাবহারের স্বীকার হতে হলো। আমি কোন বাড়বাড়ন্ত কিছু না বলে নির্দিষ্ট অভিযোগ বক্সে অভিযোগ পত্র জমা দিলাম। আইন কে শ্রদ্ধা করি। দেখি কর্তৃপক্ষ কি উদ্বেগ গ্রহণ করে।

Excellent service for diabetes with reasonable expense. Other patients also can get good treatment here. Specially pregnant women. Primary fee would be 240 taka. Farther cost depends on patient condition and required tests. The procedures would be same as the photo of a leaflet they provide.

Few days ago i went this hospital for my wife pregnancy delivery purpose. Their doctor, nurse & staff are excellent. Hospital cost is affordable, this hospital environment and service are very good. Highly recommended this hospital about diabetics and gynecology related problem.

Their service is too good now...They are updating their service in every possible way. Only the canteen service is disgusting. Please bring food when you are going to come here because inside the canteen the waiters provides unprofessional services & they serve unhealthy foods.

This is the only hospital I've found, where the doctors are on time. Same with the nurses. The patients' meals arrive EXACTLY as per doctors' instructions and ON TIME! I could write pages about this place and it still won't be enough. Just go there and get the experience.
