CUET is situated in the district of chittagong under Chittagong Division. It is in the Pahartali union under raozan subdistrict , by the north side of the Chittagong-Kaptai road about 25 kilometers from the center of chittagong city. The 420 Megawatt Raozan Thermal power plant  is situated just beside the campus. Karnaphuli Hydroelectric Power Station, the largest source of hydroelectricity  of the country, is situated in kaptai, about 25 kilometers from CUET. The university offers degrees in Engineering disciplines  in undergraduate and post-graduate levels and also conducts research and provides degrees in basic science  in post-graduate level. There are fifteen academic departments under five faculties emphasizing teaching and research of engineering, technology, architecture and  planning. The university campus covers an area of 188+ acres. The campus of CUET is landscaped around a valley with hilly areas and plant varieties making the campus a natural arboretum. Facilities include academic buildings, administration building, auditorium, library, computer center, workshop, research laboratories, halls of residence, teachers' quarter, canteens and central mosque. The university has inside its boundaries a bank, a post office, three canteens, a DRMASS telephone exchange, a PABX, a phone and fax caterer, a large auditorium, two galleries for holding conference, a two-storied central mosque having a floor area of 560 square meters, and two mini-mart for general needs.

I love CUET. I'm a student of CUET (CSE).With an amazing natural environment it is serving knowledge. It is a peaceful place.It is one the renowned university over the country.The authority of it took a large project 'CUET IT Business Incubator'(with the support of the govt.).This is the first project like it in Bangladesh .It will be very helpful to make the country Digital one.

As little much I have seen of this area of the students dormetory, it has fine environment and good security. It's solid subjects laboratory, teaching and technical parts also should meet its required merit. This place is also looks very beautiful on the outside.

Recently a Business IT incubator was inaugurated by Prime Minister which is built to facilitate the students with real time job experience and also with financial benefits.
