প্রত্যাশা ব্রিজ কে কেন্দ্র করে এই বাসস্ট্যান্ডে গড়ে উঠেছে । শুধু বাসস্ট্যান্ড, এছাড়া অন্যান্য সুযোগ সুযোগ সুবিধা নেই বললেই চলে । এখানে কোন মার্কেট টয়লেট নেই বিশ্রামাগার নেই আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীর কোন টহলদারি নেই, ধর্মীয় কোন উপাসনালয় নেই। অর্থাৎ ওয়ান স্টার এর উপযুক্ত একটি স্থান । অল্প কিছু দোকান আছে নিম্নমানের । কোন সুপার শপ কাঁচাবাজার বা মার্কেট নেই। গাজীপুর এবং উত্তরা কে এই তুরাগ নদীর উপর প্রত্যাশা ব্রিজ একত্রিত করেছে। অর্থাৎ এই প্রত্যাশা বীজ দিয়ে উত্তরা থেকে গাজীপুর যাওয়া যাবে। অবশ্য প্রত্যাশা ব্রিজ এর পরে রিয়েল এস্টেট এর কিছু জমি নির্মাণাধীন রয়েছে। সেখানে নির্মল বিনোদনের সুযোগ আছে স্থানীয় ছেলেরা সেখানে খেলাধুলা করে এবং ঘোরাফেরা করার জন্য পর্যাপ্ত জায়গা আছে ।
