It was created in 1924 by constructing a dam across the stream that came down from the hills in the northern part of Chittagong. The purpose of creating an artificial lake was to provide water to the residents of the railway colony. It was named after Mr. Foy, a Railway engineer, believed to materialize said project. Pahartali was essentially a railway town containing a workshop, yard, and shed. Presently, a carriage workshop, diesel workshop, loco shed, laboratory, stores, electric workshop, school (established in 1924) are located here. A good number of railway employees reside in the nearby colony. The area belongs to Railway. However, an amusement park, managed by the Concord Group, is located here. I visited Foy's Lake on 13th August, 2022. I went there alone. I really enjoyed the whole visit. The ticket price was 400taka (entry, 250ml Pepsi & 7 rides including). It's an amusement park. The space inside is vast. There are rides like Bumper car, Ferry's wheel, Merry go round etc. There's a water park as well, I didn't go inside the water park though. There are multiple lakes & small hills. You can go for boat ride, lake cruise & kayaking. There are a few restaurants & food shops inside. In comparison to other amusement parks I have visited, the food places inside Foy's Lake amusement park are not extremely overpriced. For example, a bottle of 250ml Pepsi which I can get for 20 taka from any outside grocery store, the shops inside Foy's Lake charged 22taka for it– not 40/50 taka like most other amusement parks I visited. You can go there with your family and friends. It can be an interesting place for both adults & children. I went alone & I enjoyed a lot. No outside food, drinks or water is allowed in the park. If you have any outside food/drink with you, you'll have to consign those in the counter before you enter the park. You can collect your belongings from the counter beside the entry gate when you leave the park. If you wanna go somewhere interesting within low budget, I highly recommend Foy's Lake. And if you don't like crowd, go there in the morning or noon. I went there on Saturday at around 1pm & there wasn't much crowd at all. I really enjoyed the "Apollo Flight" & "Pirate Ship" ride. I was interested in Kayaking & Paddle boat, but I was in a hurry, so I couldn't do that. I'd like to visit Foy's Lake again.

Foy's Lake Concord Amusement park got to be the best amusement theme park in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Last week i have visited the park with my family. After entering the park we were amazed with theme park they have pulled. I was with my nieces they loved the theme park more then us. Though Foy's Lake Concord Amusement park is well planned for kids and adults. We have ride the roller coaster which was breath taking, then went to the ferris wheel and we had a pleasure view of the Foy's lake from the top. And after that we went to the bumper car and our whole family enjoyed it. After the theme park we went to the sea world water park which is the only and the best water park in Chittagong. We went there via boat and enjoyed the beautiful lake view. In sea world, there was a music going on and a DJ was there. We have start from the Wave pool danced there and went to the dance floor. Everyone w laughing and really enjoying there time. After edges i had a great time with my family. And all thanks goes to the Foy's lake Concord Amusement park. And i believe after fantasy kingdom jamgora dhaka this is the best amusement park not just in Chittagong but the best park in Bangladesh!

It was good and lucky to have one zoo in the city. But waste of money. Tikect price was 50taka last time, now 70 taka. But so called development.made a big cage for tiger which is 30% of other cages togather. Just to show some change. Very bad smell coming from most of the cages which points improper maintainance and management. Animals are definitely starving. The painting on the walls are worst. You will be confused to identify one sample i will be posting below. Even authority does not know the name of animals. For example they simply wrote blue wild beast same thing wrote in bengali.but better than nothing. Kids will find it amazing if you take the responsibilty to describe the animals.

not worth it, a scam for anyone who isn’t familiar with the place. 2500 tk down the drain as an entry fee, for 5 adults and 2 minors. the reviewers on google have only taken pictures in the areas available - outside the adventure and sea world area. the rides, experiences, resort and camping fees are priced so high, barely any people were there. it’s not even a particularly good place for pictures, it’s a giant scam that leeches money off people.

নিঃসন্দেহে একটি ভালো মানের পার্ক। তবে সন্ধ্যা সাতটার ভেতরে বন্ধ হয়ে যায় (সাধারন দিনে) সেটা টিকেট কাউন্টার থেকে বলে দেয়া হয় না। আর প্যাকেজের ৬ টি রাইড শেষ করতে প্রায় ৩ ঘণ্টা লেগে যায়। ৬ টা থেকেই তাদের কর্মচারীদের বাসা যাবার ব্যস্ততা শুরু হয়ে যায়। আপনি রাইডে চড়তে না পারলে আপনার ব্যার্থতা, এমন একটা ভাব কারণ তারাতো টাকা নিয়ে গেছে। তাই যারাই আসবেন পর্যাপ্ত সময় হাতে নিয়ে আসবেন। আর উনাদের প্যাকেজের ভেতর বাচ্চাদের কোনো রাইড নেই, এটা সবচেয়ে দুঃখ জনক। আর খাবারের কথা না হয় বাদই দিলাম। তাই ঢুকবার আগে সময় ও সকল তথ্য নিয়ে প্রবেশ করবেন দয়া করে।

Best thing in foys lake is boat riding. It was really good weather and we roaming around almost 20 to 25 minutes with boat in the lake. This lake is too beautiful, specially couple will enjoy it. When you are in the middle of the lake you will water world over there. In the water world kids are playing in the water, its a kind of water kingdom place.

This is an awesome place to visit with family and it's very much kids friendly. Entry fee for adult is 250tk and for 3-4feet kid 200tk. You will get a cup ice cream with this fee. My suggestion would be to buy ticket with all ride which cost 100tk extra, if u like to ride there. I am happy that I have visited there.

You can get both foys lake and sea entire plus one Pepsi with BDT400. foys is a artificial lake made by Bangladesh railway. The foy is made and operated by concord group. But there management is very bad

Not satisfied. There staff helping people should be improve. And the canteens are too much poor, their food quality is 2 out of 10. It’s too much bad. If they can not able to improve their restaurant and food quality, then it should be better to close the restaurants. Totally a bad quality, disgusting.

Nothing but a glorified children's play area. 90% of the rides are kiddie rides. Their only good ride doesn't allow one person. And yet they charge 300 Tk for entry. It's nothing but a scam. They should be sued. For adults, it's nothing but a glorified selfie studio for show offs on Facebook.

They are not allowing us to chose our own rides and forcing us to buy their own options. Very disappointed and not satisfied with their behaviour

Its a very beautiful tourist place. Foy's lake & The Chittagong Zoo are in same place. The lake in Foy's lake amusement park is very big & most beautiful place. There are many types of package for tourist but I think the ticket price is very high.

This is a very popular place in Chittagong. So many people who are interested to visit this place. Entry fee is 200 bdt for adult person. It's very near of Chittagong zoo. It's a famous place for visitor.

Nice tourists place but they have options to improve. Boat ride is nice but if they can reduce the sound of will be better. Cause u can enjoy the nature without sound pollution.

Very wonderful place. But the authority doesn't take any proper action for renovation work. Most of the artificial fountains do not work at all. This is unexpected :(
