We went there to watch SRK's Jawan by booking an online ticket. First of all, if you purchase tickets online, you won't be able to choose the seats according to your preference, the way you can choose with Star Cineplex. But Blockbuster's website is far better than Star Cineplex when it comes to booking online tickets. We got the 'Exposure' Hall and 'N (1-3)' row, which is at the top. I think these seats are not good for enjoying a movie. But If you are in the N row, try to get the tickets within 5-8 seats. Also, I prefer (J, K, L) row middle seats to have an amazing movie experience. Major drawbacks of the blockbuster is their sound system and payment issue to buy food. The sound system is not good as Star Cineplex but the projector screen was good. But if you go to buy food and want to pay the bill via card, they won't accept it until the amount is more than 200/-. That was the worst experience ever.

Blockbuster was a new addition to Dhaka cinema halls. When they first arrived it was a direct challenge to the others like star cineplex. But their pricy tickets and clumsy service at first hurt their customer base. But with time they managed to master the craft of customer satisfaction and management. Though still there are some things to be taken care of. Like there should be multiple entry point in the main gate of the cinema. Near showtime it gets very crowdy. The screens there are very good compared to Bangladeshi halls but not good enough compared to the international standard. The washrooms are clean. The pop corn and drinks are quality ful. The small cafes in the waiting rooms and ticket counter have a varsetile menu. The waiting area should have more seating arrangement. The stuffs are well behaved and helpful. A good place for people who would like to watch movies in the cinema halls.

This is one of the famous and popular cineplexes in Dhaka city. We watched movie in the "Utshob" hall. There are several food corners including popcorn, soup, coffee, ice cream, fuchka and soft drinks. It was a nice experience to watch the movie at Blockbuster Cinema. The screen looked a bit smaller though. May be this is because we had wonderful experiences to watch movies at giant and legendary cinema halls of Dhaka city in late 80s and 90s. Overall it was nice to visit the place and I would love to watch movies there again.

Didn’t get proper service. If you go early like 30-40 min earlier, you have to wait beside ticket counter and there are 3-4 seats only. And they will allow you to enter 10 min before the show starts. I had to stand 25 minutes. This made me unsatisfied and disheartened. But I enjoyed the theatre while watching movie. Also I wanna add that it would be better if they add the feature of selecting seats while purchasing tickets online.

Today I went to Blockbuster to watch Animal movie (Hindi Movie). Duration of the movie is 3 hours and 20 minutes but they had cut all the main scenes not sure why! They had cut the main fight scene of climax and also some fight scenes. They didn't remove 18+ scenes so there was no point of removing some fighting scenes.It felt like I was watching the movie without the fun parts. Very disappointed

খুবই খারপ ব্যবহার তাদের। কথা এবং কাজের সাথে কোন মিল নাই। প্রচুর ইনফরমেশনে গ্যাপ তাদের। তারা জানে না কিভাবে একজন ক্লাইন্ড এর সাথে ব্যবহার করতে হয়। হাস্যকর কারন দেখিয়ে মিথ্যে ক্ষমা চাওয়ার অভিনয় খুব ভালই পারে তাদের সকল স্টাফরা। সত্যিই হতাশাজনক। সকলকে সেখানে যাবার আগে পুনরায় আরেকবার চিন্তা করার অনুরোধ করছি যাতে আমাদের মত অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত পরিস্থিতিতে পরতে না হয়।

এখানে সিনেমা দেখতে গিয়ে খুব মজার একটা ব্যপার হয়েছিল আমার সংগে আমারা দুই ফ্রেন্ড একত্রে টিকেট করতে গেলাম, কাউন্টার থেকে জিজ্ঞেস করলো টিকিট কি এক সংগে নাকি দিবে নাকি আমি বললাম দিতে, কিন্তু ব্যপার হল একতে সিট নেবার জন্য প্রতি টিকিটে বেশি করে টাকা কেটে নিল তাও যেটা ভাউচার এ লেখা নেই, সিনেমা শেষ করে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম ব্যপারটা কি অরা বলল এটাই প্র্যাক্টিস।।

সিনেমার নেশা মাদকের নেশার মতোই ভয়ংকর। মাদকাসক্তি থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়া যেমন কষ্টসাধ্য, সিনেমা বা মুভি আসক্তি থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়াও দুরূহ ব্যাপার। সিনেমা বা মুভি আসক্তির কারণে পরিবারের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক খারাপ হয়, পড়াশোনায় ক্ষতি হয়, এমনকি নিজের মধ্যেও হীনম্মন্যতার সৃষ্টি হয়। আর এসোব প্লাটফর্ম গুলো যুবক-যুবতীদের অধঃপতনের জন্য দায়ী বলে মনে করি।

It's a great movie theater. Seats, environment, sound, washroom..everything is top notch. Didn't get to try 3D glasses yet, so can't talk about that. Those negative and 4 star reviews are most probably from Star Cineplex as it's their competitor. It's a really bad practice to defame your rival other than improvement of your own service.

এক কথায় অসাধারন। সিনেমা দেখার অভিজ্ঞতা এর থেকে ভালো হয়তো আমাদের দেশে অন্য কোথাও হবেনা। অসাধারন পরিবেশ আর ডেকোরেশন। হলগুলো যথেষ্ট বড়। ভিডিও কোয়ালিটি এবং সাউন্ড কোয়ালিটি দুটোই অসাধারন। সিটগুলো যথেষ্ট আরামদায়ক। হলের ভেতরের ব্যাবস্থাপনা অনেক ভালো। পরিবার অথবা যে কাউকে সাথে নিয়ে সিনেমা উপভোগের জন্য এর থেকে ভালো জায়গা আমাদের দেশে হয়তো নেই।

এটি বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় সিনেমা হল। এটি আসলে সিনামাহল বললে ভুল হবে কারণ এখানে অনেকগুলো সিনেমাহল মিলে তৈরি হয়েছে। এখানে আপনি লাগজারি এভাবে সিনেমা দেখতে পারবেন। টিকিটের দাম অনেক বেশি। সাউন্ড সিস্টেম কোয়ালিটি অনেক ভালো। তবে আমার কাছে মনে হয়েছে থ্রিডি সিনেমা দেখার জন্য যে চশমা দেওয়া হয় তার কোয়ালিটি আরেকটু ভালো করা উচিত।

It was a good experience. The sounds were clearer than Star cineplex in basundhara. I guess that's why the extra charges for the tickets. The print was amazing. The chairs were comfortable enough. it was clean when was there. a star for that. Hope they keep up the good work and keep developing.

A good place to visit if you love to watch movies in a cineplex environment. I found the environment neat and clean, quite spacious, kids friendly. A decent amount of food & beverage options are around there. The screen colors are decent, sound system is not bad either.

It is one of the few multiplexes located in Dhaka. Its condition is not promising considering the quality. In terms of location, it has a chance to do better if the authorities pay attention. The sound, screen & projector needs to be improved to attract cinema lovers.

I watched HAWA in a hall named "Thrill." What an awful experience! The sound was echoing for no reason. I took E-rear for the best viewing angle, but their screen and seat position is terrible. Zero science and zero sense were applied during the design of this trash.

Good place for family entertainment. tickets and food items are expensive. There were power cut off for almost 15 minutes without any back up. We waited for the back up all this time. It was annoying especially since it happened in the middle of the climax.

Except club royal every other screen is not at all clean the seats are disgusting. Not comfortable. The snacks are very cold. Was not at all happy with the food. Alot of disturbance with people coming in late no Management or assistance.

Well as I live in Uttara, it is the closest theatre from my location. That is why I visit this place. However, if it isn't for location I would choose Star Cineplex ofer Blockbuster Cinemas every day of the week.

Went to watch a film, the front deskers were chill but the hall wasn't that chill. It was the exposure hall but the speaker behind me was making jittery sounds. Hall was pretty small. It's average, it's ok.

The shine has worn off of this multiplex. The halls aren't as clean as before. The glasses given for 3D movies are scratchy. I hope the relevant authorities would move soon to rectify the matter.

পিকচার কোয়ালিটি অনেক খারাপ। এটা আরো ভাল করা দরকার। এখানে থেকে ভাল বসুন্ধরা শপিংমল। স্টার সিনেপ্লেক্সে। আর এখানকার কার্পেট ও ভাল পরিস্কার না। তাই সব সময় একটা বাতাসে একটা বেড স্মেইলে আসে।

Very large space.Sitting arrangement is very congested. Sits are not comfortable. The screen was hazy and blurry. Food shops and washrooms are the positive sides.

Excellent tourists place with world-class quality service in this water park, but it's a bit costly and should have accommodation facilities for the tourists.

Some of the halls' screens are very dark. Except for that and the quality of food, it's a great place to watch movies as it has a lot of options to pick from.

I watched Meg 2 3D at club royale. I thought ticket price should be arround 600. 800 is more as compare to quality and the overall service.
