If u r staying in Xinyi as a tourist, this is a very good place for laundry - as best as can be. Here are some tips. - Detergent is not automatically added. U bring your own or buy at the machine. - Bring NT $100 and the coin machine can dispense coins - 3 sizes of washers. BUT no choice of washing style or water temp. I suspect it’s just normal tap water temps. - BIGGEST tip on the dryers. The default is delicate - your clothes will never get dry at that rate. Not to mention the waste of time and money. Always select the first button for high temps. - waiting area has NO a/c. But u can walk to 7-11 and get the coldest AC I’ve ever felt in a 7-11. One block or so away. - or walk to Sun Yat Sen memorial hall where they go changing of the guard every hour. We did that. - Plan to basically hang around here for 1 hr. Take the above side trips or just chill on their bench / chairs inside & outside. - No waiting. Empty machines around 10 am were available for a large group of us 4 to use. Very good coin laundry shop, it was a rainy day where Taipei were partially flooded. We chose this shop due to its good rates and the presentable looks of the shop. We had a baby and could not hail a cab due to peak hour and heavy rain, the lady boss tried to book a taxi through phone multiple times out of good will but did not succeed. Eventually her husband fetch us back to our hotel out of good will. I would highly recommend this laundry shop in Taipei

戴克斯特投幣式自助洗衣店是位於國父紀念館對面的仁愛路四段和以及光復南路之間的巷子裡，生意良好，已經開設多年。我們家洗衣機洗不下的薄被和厚重衣物，會拿到這家投幣式自助洗衣店裡來洗，及洗好脫水完，再拿到店內烘乾機烘乾，然後帶回家。所費不多，卻可以省去買一台大型洗衣機放在家裡的佔用空間，與平日需費較多水和洗衣精來洗衣服的浪費水電費。戴克斯特自助洗衣店是採投幣方式使用，操作簡便。在洗衣機的上方，有洗衣操作說明，也有烘衣的操作步驟，一目瞭然。這家洗衣店叫做自助式，顧名思義，就是凡事需自己來，沒有服務人員在店內可以詢問。當衣服放進洗衣機內洗，或烘乾機內烘乾時，此段等待期間，通常會待在洗衣店內或是門口附近等候，避免萬一衣物遺失的尷尬與沮喪。這是一家24小時皆可自由進入洗衣的洗衣店，提供了附近居民甚為便利的洗衣服務。

It’s a self-service laundry, efficient and cheap. You can wash for 50, 70, 90 depends how much clothes you have and dry for each 6 minutes 10, probably you would need 18min. Take coins of 10 and 50 or 100 to change with the machine where you can also buy the detergent. I liked that It’s also frequented from the local people :)

Great place to do laundry, especially for travelers staying in the Taipei 101 area. Much cheaper than the outrageous hotel laundry rates. I spent 100 NTD (50 NTD for 9kg small load washer & 50 NTD for 30 minutes drying) and 1 hour later I had clean clothes. I brought my own detergent, but it's only 10 NTD per box.

Not that easy to find a self-service laundry mat in the Da-An area. This place is open 24 hours and has everything you need. Washers, dryers, laundry detergent is all there and the price is pretty reasonable. Can wash and dry your laundry in a bout an hour for about 120 NTD.

Very clean. There was a change machine on-site. There was also a machine that sold the detergent and fabric softener which made it convenient for me travelling. The machines were easy to operate. I didn't have any difficulty using this facility being an English speaker.

The owner is very friendly even to American tourists. The prices are good especially compared to the hotel laundry fees. When I went at night, there was no wait for the machines. Some limited mandarin may be necessary if you need help operating the machines.

Easy place to find, use and clean. 8min walk from Grand Hyatt. Had a great experience despite not being able to read any of the Chinese. Bring 10, 20 and 50 coins, or use the coin / money change dispensing box. Highly recommend for travellers.

Easy to use laundromat for foreigners, and open 24 hours too. Nearly everything has English labels in addition to Chinese. Soap NT$10 (accepts bills or coins, gives change, be careful to pick the soap rather than the other items), washer…...

This 24 hour coin laundry place is conveniently located. I was staying near Sun Yat Sen Memorial Metro Station and the place is just a few mins walk. The place is clean and well ventilated. There's a vending machine to change coins, buy…...

This is VERY close to the Grand Hyatt and Taipei 101. It is very clean, coin operated (no laundry "service" - this is do it yourself). A few machines did not work correctly, but the owner was right there and refunded money and helped to…...

Washing machines 9kg 50NT, 14kg 70NT, 18kg 100NT — they all take 30 minutes. Dryers 6min 10NT Detergent 1 box 10NT Money changing machine next to detergent vending machine - changes 100 NT bill to 10 coins Great place!!!

15min easy walk from Home Hotel. Easy to find and its open 24/7. Cheap (50 for 9kg, 10 for 6min of dryer, 10 for a bag of detergent). Spent 1 hr and and My family no longer stink...all under <100. I say this is a deal!

Very close to grand hyatt taipei and taipei 101. very clean coin laundry place. Multiple machine for multiple loads and it also has vending machine that sells detergent and softener that also operates as coin changer.

대민 타이페이 그랜드 하얏트에서 5분 거리에 위치한 코인 빨래방입니다. 애들 2명이 있어서 여행 중 한번 빨래가 필요한 상황이였는데...저렴하게 빨래에서 건조까지 정말 잘했습니다. 세제,섬유유연제,살균소독제(?) 자판기가 있어서 준비가 필요없으며, 내부에 동전 자판기도 있습니다. 현지인들이 사용하는곳이라 재미있는경험을 했습니다.

For a change, instead of paying high prices with hotel, I tried this laundry. Its clean, easy and safe. Recommended to those who don't wish to pay high prices within hotel.

Convinient place to wash your laundry. You can not adjust the temperature on the washing machines, but it works for general clothing. English instructions are available.

4 min walk from GHTaipei. Convenient, easy to use DIY, and 100NTD for one load instead of 1500NTD the hotel trying to charge me! And the fan is working!
