A very nice area to walk and cycle, pathways well maintained and not to busy with passing pedestrians or cyclists. If you cycle go anti-clockwise as there are a few inclines which are easier to manage in that direction.Don’t go by car or bus, take a city bike from Ciaotou MRT adding an extra 10km each way ( there are also bike stations at the reservoir). Plenty of picnic areas around the reservoir to stop and refresh, very well maintained bathrooms with soap and water! Ideal for photo opportunities and the peaceful noises of nature, birds and butterflies.

A lovely water reserve park with pedestrian and bike path. 7km in circumference. A casual biking trip will take half an hour, not counting time stopping for photo opportunities. Bike path is generally in good condition with some rough spots along the way. Great views from the suspension bridges. Good for morning strolling.

it took me 1hr walking inside the bridge it makes me feel blessed and happy the scenery is breath taking it’s good for my cardio to walk in many trees the fresh air and the lake and at the end you see a beautiful long bridge.. love it

There is a bike way about 7 kilometers around the dam. It's nice for bicycling and walking without vehicles' interference. However, it's better to visit in the evening since there are not many trees.

There is not much to see actually, but if you want to jog early in the morning, it will be a good place to go. You can watch the sunrise and do the morning meditation as well.

The reservoir is not particularly pretty. There is a bridge that looks like Golden Gate Bridge and hundreds of solar panel floating on part of the reservoir.

There's about a 15 km bike trail, paved, 2/3 through woods with scenes of water, and a lot of people but not so many to trip over.

阿公店水庫很值得一遊，風景好空氣品質目前氣侯凉爽，適合一家大小同遊，環境很友善新增停車場有屋頂，上有太愓能發電(停車位進出要留意，柱子都是鋼構，碰不得)園區新增五星級厠所，男女各一，靠近入口處。

整个水库地区管理的不错。 风景秀丽。山光水色，天气很时候，可以看到附近的小岗山。山腰的岗山之眼可以看的清清楚楚。 停车方便。轮椅也都没有问题。 算是一个半日游的好地方。

A great destination for a small walk, cycling and photography.

風景美，很適合帶小孩，也不用門票，廁所也很乾淨，有U-bike可以借，但假日人多，步道很小顯得擁擠，小小孩會不好走。
