"Fort Edmonton had a wonderful Christmas market event last weekend"
"October 2, 2021"
"The Christmas market was great fun but poorly organised for those who pre-bought food tickets as there was no separate line to pick them up so you're stuck behind people buying tickets and then deciding for ages how many food tickets they should buy"
"A great family experience"
"Went here as part of a business group"
Fort Edmonton had a wonderful Christmas market event last weekend. It was beautiful, lights strung everywhere, a big Christmas tree decorated and there were fire pits lit around the site to help you warm up. Lots of activities for families including a maze, the carousel was running (inside) and there was a kid zone. There were a few glitches like long lines to get in, then get your tickets for food /beverages. The lines for food were confusing and again long waits, the drinks were overpriced in my opinion. All that being said it was the first year. I'm sure next year the glitches will be worked out and the site will be set up for better flow. It really did look like a market you would see in Germany. I hope they add more dates so mire people can enjoy it.
October 2, 2021. My wife and I recently came to Fort Edmonton park and we walked through the Midway unfortunately it was closed for the season so we did not get the experience the rides but they look amazing. We will return again when the rides are open. Recent renovations will make this a great place to visit. It’s currently closed due to COVID but will open later in the summer. The midway is inside Fort Edmonton park so it can only be enjoyed while in the park.
The Christmas market was great fun but poorly organised for those who pre-bought food tickets as there was no separate line to pick them up so you're stuck behind people buying tickets and then deciding for ages how many food tickets they should buy. Definitely oversold tickets as car park was overbusy
A great family experience. I was there for a corporate event and had so much fun. The only thing missing was music on the carousel.

Went here as part of a business group. It was really wonderful and I would highly recommend anybody looking to do something with a group of business people to go here....
I love fort Edmonton but it gets boring after while Thru the years . I think people would have more fun if they expanded there 1920 modest Rides ! …
We didn't get on any midway rides. They were down until later that day. We arrived at 130 and they close at 5pm. Somewhere they did open up.
The perfect addition to make this park attractive to kids! Only a few different rides, but the lines are short and the kids are happy!!
Character acting and costumes give an extra touch of authentic feel. Fun midway rides, fair games and carnival tricks all in one place.
It was fun and had a lot of stuff to do

Yes
There aren't a lot of rides but they are free with park admission so it's definitely a nice touch.
Such a fun experience. I really wish there was some seating in the shade.
Really nice at night with the lights. Felt like something out of a movie.
This is fun. Free rides with park admission. Great staff. Kids love it.
