Nice selection of salads, nibbles such as olives, cornichons, hot pretzels, cheese plates and single order cheeses to choose from alongside a rotating menu of wines by the glass or bottle and beers. The server told me that they are going to be adding a full bar this summer. A few TVs played a ballgame, but the volume was down and during the middle of a Saturday afternoon when I was there, a few groups of folks rotated in and out, but it was fairly light on foot traffic. Casual and comfy place to chill either inside or on the front sidewalk patio. The staff was accommodating to let me try sips of wine before I ordered a couple of glasses and the food I tried (a strawberry butter lettuce and cheese salad, hot pretzel like rolls served with hot mustard sauces and cheese sauces and some marinated sides) was all tasty.

Great wine and cheese selection with appropriate prices given the quality however the service was awful. Our group of 6 was rarely checked in on for refills, we had to flag down and straight walk up to our waitress to get service multiple times after waiting excessively long. When our waitress went on break, we were asked by another one to wait until she came back to place another round of drinks in. My experience at orher establishments is the server checking in before a break to do orders/inform change over. I loved what I ordered and got to try but the service was not acceptable. Especially when it looked like they were not extremely busy with some free tables, the employees talking to each other constantly about their personal lives and ignoring customers.

Adorable, with a gorgeous wine list and delicious pastas. Four of us showed up with no reservations on a Saturday night and they took our names, we had a drink at A16 and an hour later they texted and seated us at the bar. The bar service was very gracious: the bartender made an excellent wine recommendation and also brought us an additional pasta dish that ended up being our favorite of the night. The beef 20twenty cheese bar is one of the best I've ever had (and I've had MANY). The pastas, especially the stuffed ones, were too heavy for my palate- too much meat, salt and fat on them so next time I'll go for the plainer ones. But I'm already planning the next visit! 20twenty cheese bar

Something about the new revised atmosphere draws me to this place even if I'm not in love with their food and wine options. I love the picnic benches on the back patio, my friends and I always seem to get in conversations with the other people and you can bring your dogs too. The food options are small, but then again it doesn't say they are a restaurant, the wines rotate but not often, they do have a good variety and are happy to bring you tastes till you find the right one, very helpful when I'm in a picky mood. Staff is pretty good, just be patient when your outside, they have inside tables that they have to pass to get to you and they can often take priority.

No joke, this place is my favorite place in San Jose. They constantly change out their beers and wines on draft, and their selection of cheeses. If you're daring enough, let the chef pick your spread. If you're a little particular, then create your own. The flexibility with the menu and staff let's you have the exact experience you want. On a side note, Viki (not sure how she spells it) is beyond amazing. She immediately match our vibe and it felt more like hanging with a friend than having a server. I hope she liked us because we will be requesting her.

Theyre service was meh. Server/ waitress walked near us, looked at us, and didnt even ask if we needed anything...water or a drink or anything. I had a tab and was willing to buy a few rounds. She tended to the table next to us and never came back. I had a long day at work and needed a decent beer and drink, which they have, and was trtna sit and relax. Dont make me have to tell you I need water and another round ( it wasnt that busy). Otherwise, selection was good, modernish interior, and the bathroom was clean.

A fun spot to relax and have a glass of wine with friends/date/etc. Last Friday we sat outside which was lovely. Our server was very sweet, but possibly spread a bit thin, though I guess, one can say, on the plus side she didn't interupt us. I really enjoyed the pretzel knots, but there isn't enough food on the charcuterie board for the price tag. I wish I had taken a photo. So if you are just looking for a great spot to relax for a drink, this is it. If you are starved, I would look elsewhere.

Came here for a fundraiser event and really enjoyed their wine. It's a cute little wine and cheese bar, and if I lived closer I'm sure I would frequent it often. I might come check it out next time that I am near San Jose, but I thought that their staff was friendly, the wine was good, and I have yet to try the cheese but something tells me it is probably delicious. :) Not a huge fan of some of the crowd this place attracts, but I think that the wine-o crowd can be hit or miss.

Atmosphere, food (several cheese courses), drinks (wine and a house cocktail) all excellent. I especially liked that I could order another cheese course by telling the server "I liked this cheese the best from the cheese platter. What else can you recommend that's like that?" and our server asked the chef to choose a selection of awesome similar cheeses. A wonderful place for an evening out with friends or a partner for either dinner or drinks/snacks.

As a wine loving Wisconsinite, I can't get enough of this place. The wine selection is top notch and prices are avery affordable. The cheese selection rotates enough to ensure I always have something new to try. There is always ample choices for cheese. Hard, soft, Sheep's milk, goat's milk, and cow's milk. Some of the best cheeses in North America are here. If you are planning a picnic, this is a good stop to pick up some small samples for the road.

First, please outline your hours on your website... When I looked you up online, it just says "closed", nothing about the fact that you open at 4:00. I had to call to find out. Then, we get there and order two beers. The server returns with tastes of two entirely different beers because what we ordered isn't available anymore. The servers were pleasant and professional but update your website and your menu so the experience isn't so disappointing.

Such a great find for beer, wine, cheese and small plates. All the food is delicious! You can never go wrong with the “chef’s choice” cheese plate and pairings. The restaurant is small and can get very loud and busy and parking may be hard to find so that’s the only reason for 4 stars. So be prepared - especially on a Tuesday when they have trivia night! (Def recommend)

If you go definitely try the popcorn. It's a grown up version of a classic treat. The service is airways courteous and friendly. Great place to go after work for drinks with friends. It's small inside so wouldn't recommend for very large groups. It gets very crowded in the evening and seats are hard to come by but I think you can reserve a table.

A nice local hangout place. If you are looking for lots of wine and beer options this is the place. If you are looking for fast food and fries and chicken wings this is not the place to go. They have cheese platters but it's not cheap and the portion is tiny. I'll go maybe once a month when a good game is on because tv screens are everywhere :)

Went for happy hour (wines & beers $2 off, and $2 off snacks and appetizers). Had a lovely rosé, and husband had a glass of possessor red. We got one of each of the grilled sandwiches: one truffle & cheese, one french onion - both delicious and perfect for a cold evening. Also, the popcorn is really good, with shredded cheese tossed in.

I like this wine/beer/cheese bar. The décor is modern and minimalist. Nice bar and large variety of wine/beer. The only downfall is that the food is super expensive for what you get. I would go back just for drinks :) But again, the atmosphere is quiet and its a nice place to meet with a friend to catch up in downtown Willow Glen.

  • Carey Lening

This is my favorite go to bar. They have an amazing selection of 20 wines and 20 beers on tap, and some tasty cheese-themed bar food. The staff are great, and the whole place is just a chill great place to visit. They rotate both beer and wine every week, and have great happy hour specials.

Great little wine bar in downtown willow glen. Great wine selection and excellent food options. The sandwiches and fries were great. Beware that the fries are small and intended to be an appetizer, not really a shareable food. Staff is knowledgeable and polite. Not much seating though.

I always have a nice time at 20twenty. Great craft beer list. I will say I’ve had some eye opening wines here but I wish they had more big Napa/California cabs on the list. Pretzel appetizer is delicious and they have some solid charcuterie options as well. Good service.

Cute little spot at the end of the block with a nice outdoor patio. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, love going here after work. Was a great find for a glass of wine during the week from a long day. Just wish they had one closer to my new job.. …

Poor menu , poor service. After we were seated Waiter gave both of us just one menu, 5 minutes later I asked for a 2nd menu, got one . We were ready soon after. Waited for 20 min and no one came to get our order. We left and went to a restaurant nearby.

Good cheese board, but really just a bar with good food choices. Only had a couple servers for the whole place so was a bit slow for service.

Tried to get a couple canned beers off the menu, but they were out of stock. They had to go check their inventory several times and we ended up with our third/fourth choice (We should have just left). The cans were also pretty old (by brew date).

Came on a Friday for a date night. Fast and great service, amicable staff with a great selection of food, cheese, wine and other drinks. The turkey sandwich was good. The jalapeño cheddar and smoked cow was phenomenal. Sangria was also great.

  • Kelli June

Other than the semi-funky cheese smell this is a great place to have a quite late lunch or lite dinner. The drink menu is full of great wine and beer and the food list has a lot of yummy cheese and meat and other small plates to choose from.

  • Stew O'Connor

Great menu for both beer lovers and wine lovers, but the shareable plates they have are the real stars. Truffle popcorn should be ordered in all but extreme circumstances. They make good pretzels, and can put together a stellar cheese plate

OMG...What a little Gem in Willow Glen ❤️ Huge selection of beer, wine, snacks and yummy food. Open kitchen, awesome service, bar top with tv’s or high top tables, you can’t loos. Relaxing, classy and quaint yet hip and sassy lol

  • Rick M (eSean)

This all for the hostess, she made our night by going above and beyond to accommodate us even though we didn't have a reservation. We were there for trivia night, and it is very popular. I wish I could remember her name! Amazing!

  • Charlene Payne

Outdoor eating with plenty of space between diners! The servers are great! Super knowledgeable. Try the Santa Cruz Albarino! It might be ambrosia! Heavy on the honey. Great vibes and the cutouts in the restaurant are hilarious!

  • Jennifer Fernyc

Oh my goodness! What a top notch establishment, amazing menu, extraordinary service, comfortable chairs, cozy atmosphere great for a couple, families with kids or a group. A 'must eat here' location.

  • Kyle Reid

Good place for a bite and a drink. Great selection of beers and wines on tap and a large selection of cheeses. The prices are a little higher than the area so be prepared to spend a little extra.

  • Jenee Fortier

Great place to spend with friends for a glass - or carafe - of wine. Great appetizers and charcuterie plates. Not very many gluten free options but I come for the wine, popcorn and trivia nights!

  • stephanie garcia

One of my favorite places to go with my friend after a hard week at work. Great wine/ beer selection, and awesome cheese and snacks. The only critique I have is that it is a bit pricey

  • Emily S

Good vibes, friendly waitress, good food selections for pairing with beer and wine, but the beer selections are not many for me

Best place in Willow Glen to order a cheese plate with wine or beer. Great wine selection both on a tap system and in bottles. Fair beer selection but too heavy on hoppy flavors.

Love the 2020 Cheese Bar. An unmatched selection of wines and tasty morsels will quench just about any appetite. But save room for their yummy chocolate martini for dessert!

  • Patrick Desjardins

Nice place to hang with friends. However, it is small and you might want to have a reservation if you plan to come. Many drinks and bites. Parking on the street is limited.

  • Anne Connolly

Delicious charcuterie, choose your own ingredients or have one made up. Yummy popcorn (gourmet). The service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, will visit again.

  • Amy Moore

Absolutely love 20twenty! The food is amazing, especially the popcorn. They also have a great selection of beer & wine. It's a little on the pricy side, but it's worth it.

What a great spot in Willow Glen. Staff is very knowledgeable about the extensive wine and beer menu. The popcorn is a must have! Add the gruyere cheese!

Great little place on Lincoln Ave for drinks and food. Our server Jenny was so nice and attentive to our large table. Would definitely be back soon!

  • Justin Brons

First time here last night. They had a great wine and beer selection, the snacks were tasty, and the staff was very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

  • Elliot Goldinger

Overall: good experience. Inventory seemed to be a little low on a few things, but the charcuterie and pretzels with beer cheese were delicious.

  • Becki Adams

Everything was great. Amazing selection of wine. The beer cheese dip was bomb. A little pricy, but will definitely return.

  • David Conti

The food is delicious and the beer is tasty. The back area is perfect for intimate gatherings. Five Stars plus!

  • Beata Jarosiewicz

Not the cleanest or most beautiful wine bar, but makes the best charcuterie board I've ever had in my life.

  • Desiree Reich

They obviously have great wine choices. Try the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. It's a cheesey delight. Addictive!
