RESPONSE TO OWNER. Thank you for the promt response. I hope the disciplinary action taken will still allow her an opportunity to learn and to do better. FIRST POST I am here at 07:16 on Saturday the 7th July. I am putting this time stamp to give the owner enough information to investigate if he wants to. I am rating my experience based on engagement with staff and service provided by staff. I would make it zero if I could. When I arrived there were two attendants and the one I approached the younger of the two was very unfriendly towards ME for no reason. I was polite and greeted her and and she mumbled something and moved on before i could ask her for help. Very cold reception. I then asked her for coins and she told me they had none I should go next door. She did this with her back to me. I then got the coins and when I got back she tells me there are no machines for ME I have to wait. She tells me this is because she has rreserved them for for the drop of service. The tone she used got my backbup but I held my tongue. One on looker seeing what was happening points to 5th machine that was empty and as I move towards it she again says to me I must wait she is going to use the machine. So now its not four its five. Now i am wondering is it ME. Two other onlookers point to a sixth machine that is empty and had been empty since this saga started and I was told there is no machine for ME i have to wait. Now i am wondering if she needed four and six are available why must I wait? Is it ME? To the owner, maybe this is just a bad day for her but please remind her that she is not doing us a favour by being here and that us being here is what keeps the doors open. I personally dont want to be here anymore and wont be coming back but I think you have a good thing here keep it goid and use this review as a tool to make it great.

I have been using 24 Hour Laundry store (the Parow branch) for a considerable amount of time. During the warmer months the heat in the store in intolerable ... imagine 35 degress outside combined with the machine heat inside! Well, two weeks ago I asked the owner (Sebastian Ricketts) to please try and install a fan in the store. He told me that they did have one but it was stolen/broken (I cant recall which he said). Went on to say that he will get the supervisor to look into getting another one. Two weeks have since passed, with scorching temperatures, and after following up with Sebastian he performed a u-turn and an aggressive tone by stating that it is normal for a laundromat to be very hot and besides there is only a few days of really hot weather in Cape Town. He obviously lives on a different continent because Cape Town is renowned for scorching temperatures during summer. It is unfathomable that this owner ignores his clients and also expects his people to work in these conditions. There must be some health and safety issue with this too. In response to your reply - please dont hide behind the word "honesty" as you are clearly not honest.

Only 2 washing machines available for self service, all the others were out of order or used for non-self service clients, that's appalling. The staff were unprofessional-if customer is asking a question you stop what you are doing to attend to them. I was completely ignored and when I asked a question the second time the lady continued walking around the shop while answering half answering my question in an agitated tone. This is pure lack of manners.

You need to bring 8 x R5 coins with you per wash load (plus more for drying - I'm not sure how much that is). The shops around there are not willing to provide coins , even if you shop there. I find it unfortunate that the laundry can't make some arrangement with one of the shops to provide coins, especially now that the price has gone up to R40.

Some of the machines give you 26 minutes while others give you 32 minutes for the same amount of money. Some of the machines take your money and not work but if you call the number provided after hours, the staff is super helpful. There is also security and petrol attendants so you feel safe using the facility late.

The services at this 24hr laundromat was pathetic. The staff were not friendly and helpful at all. Their attitudes stink and I will not go back again, nor will I recommend anyone going there. The two woman who were on duty on the day that I went had no consideration for their customers or their belongings

Drying is a hassle, you need to dry one load using 3 cycles, every single time, any other suggestions for tumble drying? , cause this be really time and money consuming. Always be spending more time and money meant for the service. DO NOT GO THERE FOR DRYING, I REPEAT, DO NOT!!

It's 14h55 on a Sunday afternoon, it's my first visit to this particular Laundromat. I am so far quite impressed. The lady was very helpful and explained how everything works. I love that I can use SnapScan instead of having to hunt for cash. Thank you for the good experience.

I had some trouble with the AP payment Because of the new price change , but a lady with the name Anthea sorted me out .she was very professional and helpful. I did not get the other ladies name. They were generally helpful and very professional. Other then that all good

No one answers the phone, one branch for no water, one branch don't answer phone and the number on website- whoever that belongs to is most rude and unhelpful. Please don't even bother to respond to this review because I really don't care what you have to say.

It was my first time using your laundromat. 10 out of 10. Very clean only problem I have that you must have 5 rands and it was a struggle to get it. Thanks for an excellent service from your ladies. Very helpful and friendly …

Unbelievable.. This laundromat is Horrible..The Lady attedent was very rude..I am visiting From NY.. They would not even give me change enough for 1 dryer..And there was Only 1 dryer for customer's doing there own luandry.. Strange enough

Had good service today from Bonita and Anneline.. They always friendly i mostly use the drop off service and i was able to collect my laundry within 3 hours.. Thank you and keep up the good work

I think they need to put a coin dispenser inside the laundry. It's not easy to get change(coins) when you want want to operate do your washing. Especially when it is now R40 a load.

Equipment may be outdated but it's a good place. Downside is that they don't keep coins at the premises for safety reasons, so you end up walking around looking for coins.

Ppl come with 4baskets but won't give a person a chance with one small basket and not all machines use change which is bad not all use banking app I'm very disappointed

Hi Since the water saving came in to being, I have been using the laundry every week. The staff are amazingly friendly, remember my name and are extremely helpful.

24 Hour Laundry has multiple facilities, the one in Belhar is by far the most user friendly. The only positive to the parow one is its open during loadshedding

Staff unprofessional and my laundry was still dirty after collection...rather go to the bellville branch...the parow branch seriously needs intervension ...

The laundry's wash and dry service is actually quite pricey per kilo (R22.50) and the minimum kilos they do for you is 5kg. Self service is also pricey

Very good except the one machine was faulty I deposited the money twice and it did not work and when I checked my account the money wasn't funded back

It's convenient too you can wash your washing yourself,and chat to the staff members or relax and read a book,there's a a baseline station

The tumble dryers don't dry the clothes and you unable to top up instead need to do 3 cycles to get a load dry. Disappointed beyond.

My ironing has been done here for years already. Averagely ironed and always done on 24 hours. Friendly staff woth ample parking.

Washers take your money and you than have to scan and pay after money was already in washers
